Tasty ice cream! Good customer service. Clean establishment -The smoke discharged from the making of the ice cream was exciting.

This is my first time here and it was amazing!I had so many questions because the flavors are so unique. My friends and I wanted a snack and saw a phenomenal experiment. The ice cream is frozen using liquid nitrogen.Emarja provided wonderful customer service and answered all of my questions! I’m definitely coming back!!

I loved Nicecream craft ice-cream store. It felt homely and I loved seeing the freshly made ice cream. Would have loved to have more flavourful options available when I went but I would recommend you try it out.

Everyone knows my addiction to ice cream, it’s my favorite food, I eat it before my meal, breakfast, lunch or dinner. I love to try a new ice cream place wherever we go but nicecream wasn’t nice to me. We googled a place that was open in the area and this one looked Instagrammable enough, OPEN until 11pm. We parked 20 mins before 11 pm but had to wait a good 5 mins because of a phone call and it was 10:48 when we finally walked through the door excited to have some nicecream. We were not nicely greeted just told we could only buy pints, I thought “ok maybe they are out of cones” I asked if we could have 2 flavors and she said “no you have to pick from this list, we are about to close” so yeah it was too close to closing and she wanted to go home not work so she would only sell Pre packed pints. We said thank you and walked away to a place that did want our business. You’ve been warned, do not come here if it’s close to closing time.

This ice cream is great. Never have I seen ice cream made fresh to order with liquid nitrogen. The staff was really cool and the restaurant was very nice and clean with huge windows. They offer custom ice cream sandwiches with fresh baked cookies, which I thought was cool. They also have a decent drink selection.

This place is an ice cream gem. I love their flavours, especially the coconut ash. So unique, delicious tasting, very bright and welcoming, and the staff are very friendly.Their Nutella hot chocolate was also very good!This shop also sells pint containers of their ice cream to take home.

The Samoa ice cream is the Girl Scout cookie-ice cream hybrid of your dreams.The shop is cute and clean and its always nice to know theres liquid nitrogen in your dessert!It’s a bit small, and the tables are a bit tiny and I can see the place getting crowded on a hot summer day. It was empty when we went though, and the service was great and friendly! Would recommend.

The ice cream was very tasty and gave off a Häagen-Dazs vibe and OVERPRICED. The staff was courtesy,, PATIENT and NICE. I was not pleased to see an employee in violation of the mask policy that was implemented by the private store owner. I also did not like how I was encouraged to wear my mask, even after I stated that I was FULLY vaccinated. This kind of behavior promotes fear and negates the mission and the message of one of the GREATEST LEADERS, GREATEST ROLE MODELS, AND GREATEST BIG EXTENDED SISTERS a person can have. Our Mayor!!! God did not give us a spirit of FEAR, but of LOVE, POWER, AND SOUND MIND.

We absolutely love Nice Cream! This fresh, handmade ice cream that is flash frozen with nitrogen right before your eyes is delicious. The creative flavors at Nice Cream change weekly. This week, the Shaw location is featuring a variety of Girl Scout cookie inspired flavors such as Samoas and Tagalogs as well as Bananas Foster, Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt and Vanilla with Chocolate Chunk. In addition to the weekly flavors that change, they keep a consistent variety of hand dipped pints of their fan favorites.

This ice cream is rich. The vanilla tastes like the kind I made at home, but airy-er.The only negative is it takes a while to get a pint or more than a sample because the worker has to pour nitrogen or whatever in the ice cream to get it cold.

Exceptionally tasty ice cream. Probably some of the best in DC. Try the pistachio.

Ok So😜this place was an unexpected treat. I walked in with no prior info on what to expect. Short menu, which most of the time means really good and there were options for coffee and hot chocolate. This pic is the Butter Toffee Pecan and Mexican hot chocolate. Both were flippin’ delicious. The woman behind the counter was hella helpful and it’s definitely exciting to see the smoke from the nitrogen (get it NItrogen-NIcecream) they add to make the frozen deliciousness. It’s dense not airy like regular ice cream and still creamy too.This was delightful and you’ll really enjoy it.

Great ice cream. It sucked that they did not have the flavor I wanted. Not sure how you run out of vanilla but they did. Service got better when the young lady decided to put her phone down and finish serving the customers. There was only one person working. She was doing orders and making orders all at once.

Today October 27th at 8:40pm.I am a very regular nice-cream customer. This was my favourite spot as I was mostly visiting this spot.However, today the lady gave me an unfinished, and rushed ice cream that is not the quality I was expecting. Very disappointing.

They freeze the ingredients with liquid nitrogen! Amazing.

Its interesting that they call themselves Nicecream when nice apparently means grass fed milk, which is actually not nice to cows at all. I would expect to see more DAIRY FREE options here for a place that purports itself to have a mission of love and kindness.

Preface: Did I NEED 3 pints of ice cream for my weeklong work trip? Yes, yes I did.I cannot leave a review about this exact location as like many of us Im trying to reduce my person to person contact as much as possible so I ordered through GrubHub.However, this ice cream is a dream! I honestly couldnt decide which one to order so I got the top three. As soon as it was delivered I opened them up to take a taste.The lavender honey is perfect. It makes me want to relax with a book or even add it to my morning Earl Grey tea and make a latte with it. It isnt too floral and just the perfect sweetness.Banana and cream. At home we love cooking bananas with cinnamon and putting them on top of vanilla ice cream and this was exactly what I needed to feel a bit of home.Spiced vanilla. Im a total Mexican chili chocolate girl and this vanilla appeals so much to me. Its not a cloying sweetness but a nicely rounded whole mouth feel that is super smooth.And the brownies!!If you cant drop in just order it from GrubHub, it came thoroughly frozen and perfectly packed.

Very cool 🍨 concept store with good flavors. Not all menu items were available, though.My biggest complaint is when you have a private party for 50 people, you gotta staff it with more than ONE worker.

My husband and I came here from out of town for our anniversary. The ladies explained to us how the nicecream is made and we even got the pleasure of getting to see the dark chocolate get made which was an added bonus. Getting to eat freshly made nicecream was the best treat ever. Will absolutely visit again and highly recommend.

So delicious! My sister and I stopped in here after dinner and Im so glad we were able to try some of this ice cream.We ordered a cookie sundae and a brownie sundae, mine with the snickerdoodle cookie and their pear ice cream and my sisters with the cinnamon latte with the brownie.My sisters choices proved to be far better as her ice cream had significantly better flavor. The pear ice cream was decent but it really needed the snickerdoodle cookie to taste good.I was pleasantly surprised about how smooth the ice cream is here. We tried a lot of their other flavors and the texture/consistency of the ice cream was smooth regardless of which flavor we picked.I fell in love with the butter pecan and will definitely get that the next time I come in.Really cute shop and a nice addition to the neighborhood.

This is Nicecreams second ice cream shop in Washington, D.C. located in The Shay building. They whip up nitrogen ice cream of all flavors and its so fun to watch the ice steam emerge from the ice cream makers. If you love chocolate, order the nutella ice cream. It tastes just like it!They also sell coffee and several other baked goods like brownies!If you love ice cream, its definitely one to stop by and try!

YUM! So glad this place finally opened up in Shaw. The icecream is made fresh in front of you using liquid nitrogen. Sooo fascinating. The staff was friendly and willing to make samples which surprised me (due to the effort to get actual ice cream). The butter pecan was amazing (though I am sure flavors rotate regularly). So good.

Ice cream was extremely creamy and fresh... The brownie was dry and felt like it was a couple days old.

I got the Java Chip but I also tried my friends Orange Chocolate. The ice cream is REALLY good but I was disappointed with the mixins. They are big chunks of dark chocolate, and they dont melt in your mouth, they kind stick around in little pieces once you chew. Really wish they used a different kind of chocolate (And I really like dark chocolate normally)The java ice cream tasted like good coffee. Highly reccommend
