Nice spot in the museum. Coffee is good enough. Only issue I have is that there is no real seating for the cafe. It is in the lobby which can be quite busy and shares limited seating with that. Was meeting a friend to talk but was not possible. There is plenty of space for more tables. They can even use artistic ones...

Brand new and so far so good. 2 very nice people working there and a great location in the museum lobby. 2 large shared tables inside but a also nice to sit on the grounds. Pour over is through an automatic machine that drips into a chemex. Decent system for freeing up the baristas. Menu is verbal, would be great to see a printed list. 10% discount for government employees. Punch card available for buy 10 get one free.

Lovely! Theyve made the Hirshhorn lobby very cool with beautiful custom tree root tables and chairs echoing the donut design. Menu is much more limited than the full Dolcezza down at the waterfront, in particular food is strictly limited to pastries. You cannot take drinks into the exhibits, which seems like a good idea. Staff was friendly, fast, and helpful. A+

I was disappointed they don’t have gelato all year long! The staff was super friendly and the baked goods were delicious. I wasn’t super impressed with the matcha latte I ordered, but I appreciated the dairy free milk options.

The coffee was delicious. Had a deep, rich flavor and was topped off with a swirl of foam.

Had an amazing Dulce de Leche latte on ice (light on syrup, almond milk). Very friendly guys who were patient with me as I took forever to make a decision. Awesome space with glass tables over wood. Peaceful.

3 scoops for $7.3 are like just normal one. Very tiny portion.

To start with the (very short) line moved at snails pace, it took forever to order our ice cream. We then received a fairly small cup of half-molten ice cream that ran all over our fingers.The number of flavors were very limited and tasted pretty ordinary.In all the experience was poor, especially in view of the exorbitant price.

Long-time fan of the Hirshhorn, and stopped in recently to find the new Dolcezza in business. Prices were reasonable, drinks were delicious, and service was very quick and friendly. Lovely to have this little coffee shop in business -- Im sure Ill be back!

Worst service ever. The guy did not like his job! No smile... And hed rather look at his phone than serve his clients rapidly. All this for a VERY expensive cup of gelatto. Not worth it

Definitely a beautiful space. Dolcezza is “made in dc”. Located in the lobby of Hirshhorn museum. During the summer they also have a pop-up gelato in the outdoor space serving their amazing gelatos!

The original Dolcezza! Everything is prepared perfectly, my favorite was the Chai Latte. Definitely recommend to buy a drink and go out to the Mall to walk and enjoy the view.

Stunning café build-out adorned with bronze and metallic fish scales. Also: lovely staff, third-wave coffee and Argentinian cookies.

I love that this is an option in the city. If you feel stuck at home or at the office, you can walk over to this enclave cafe to have a superb gibraltar (cortado) and exquisite croissant in the modern art museum. If its too busy in the lobby then you can just relocate to the surrounding outdoor sculpture garden.

Pour over is way overpriced and too low temperature. I do pour over at home, which costs about $0.55 a cup. Their mark up, and most others doing pour over, is ridiculous. The temp ought to be around 200 degrees. Theirs wasn’t hot, barely lukewarm. Weak flavor as well. And the barista laid my filter on the counter before using, possibly contaminating it. Bad hygiene and coffee etiquette.

Thank goodness for this place. Decent coffee on the Mall for under $5.

Im an avid coffee drinker and this place just did not have tasty coffee. Disappointed.

The Hirshhorn and Dolcezza is the perfect marriage. For years, Hirshhorn has risen above all other DC art galleries bringing in popular exhibits (for example, 2017s Infinite Kusama). With a steady flow of visitors and nooks to read/study (wifi included), it only makes sense to have a coffee shop and Dolcezza is the perfect fit.Dolcezza is a small, not well branded coffee stand in the lobby of the Hirshhorn open when the museum opens. They sell a variety of coffee drinks from lattes to cold brew as well as pastries. They incorporate dulce leche in a lot of their menu (the dulce leche latte is really good and sweet). Their pastries are unique (I recommend the quince pastry).If you need good coffee on the National Mall, this is your best bet!
