Only been there one other time with new to me trailer trying different Aldis, woman stepped on my trailer, needs a flag, and may have been deliberate from what I heard later. Anyways was upon the store without even trying going across town, stop in check for breakfast, took a few photos added here, burst mode and these the better ones. Dolly considered as was foods to eat along the way, but ended up skipping to save money, and blocked isles only one open and no out the in door, so rather annoying trap people, and somehow not trusted despite being customer number one in Baileys opening now years ago. Enjoying shopping were I can get good quality food at a affordable prices and healthy I love that about the store and you can find German products that are great 👍

We are getting a lot of grocery options in NE, but I keep coming back here. If you are just looking to make a grocery run for the staples, this is your place. Their meat is surprisingly good - never frozen. Produce is hit or miss, but no worse than any other store in the city. Just buy whats in season. The prices are fantastic, too. Lots of generic, but they typically have a bargain and a premium version of everything. Not much more, though, so dont come looking for something specific or exotic. Honestly, I kind of like not being overwhelmed with options. It makes getting in and out much quicker. The staff are the best, too. Very fast and efficient. I leave satisfied when I come here, unlike the other store across the street.

Well, first of all, this was my first shopping experience at ALDI. Second, upon entering very clean, pleasant atmosphere. Produce very fresh and flavorful, very good products. No long lines, cashiers very fast and efficient and I was out the door in no time. I honestly, rate ALDI a 10 ❤

Always out of items. Recently there has been a line waiting for available carts. If you do get a cart you get hounded for your quarter and followed to your car.

Great bargains and a good variety of products. My cashier was quite pleasant.

This store. Runs out of another of merchandise. Especially paper plates. The good item that you like to buy one day they just disappear and no longer sells. Like the ginger beer they once had .

I drive here for the wine. $3 a bottle and its good stuff. Just like Traders Charles Shaw wine. The staff are very nice. :)

Super nice supermarket/grocery store with cheapest prices for food Ive ever seen in the US. Also a must for Germans since some products are from Germany.

Excellent albeit small grocery store.The prices can’t be beat in NE and the service is friendly. Took off a star because it’s small and lines can get long mid day.Pro tip - bring a quarter to get a grocery cart.

Very convenient small grocery store. Generally a good selection of house brand items that are just as good as national brands, plus some unique things items. The cashiers are pleasant and very efficient, and the prices cant be beat.

Good food snd prices

Great prices lines were quick. Clean store

They didnt have a great deal of items compared to the other Aldis I frequent (oxon hill). The lines were ridiculously long. Lots of panhandling in the parking lot! Items looked very picked over as the store look tanked as well. Oy shopped there because I was in the area and needed to grab a few things and get in and out. Well I was able to grab a few as most of what I was looking for werent stocked and the lines down the aisles!!!!

Better to shop early or late. Busy store limited to 50 total people in store, that includes employees. Carts wiped down. Senior Citizen hours for first hour on Tues & Thurs. Good selection with many store brands. Easy parking and access from adjacent streets. Manager striding for the best service possible. Good attitudes among staff.

PARKING LOT TOO DARK Cant see youre Groceries/Car or the Creepies, Bring a hammer.

This is the best place to get groceries! They have about 95% if the groceries my family needs in a week. I really love using Instacart for picking up groceries as well. It really speeds up the process and doesnt cost that much to use.

The cashiers are in such a rush that they encourage people in line to bunch up instead of staying a safe distance apart.

My wifes favorite places. Their Airfryer prices were very affordable and we were able to purchase 2 for under$100 dollars.

This is why I prefer the Aldi in Virginia.They were out of things today on the last day of the sale, and you cannot get them if they do not have them because they do not have rain checks.So there were several things I wanted to get that I could not get, but would most likely have been able to get them if I had gone to the store in Virginia.The staff was very nice and helpful here but that is what makes the difference between a DC store and a Virginia store.

Too many instacart and others like them in the store... Theyre rude, pushing through customers and leave the store messy with things like putting unneeded items on any random shelf. Plus. Lots of people panhandling in the parking lot. Plus, store is often out of so many items. I like aldi, but this location isnt for everyone.

I will always shop at Aldi, especially while living DC where grocery costs are high overall. Ill keep shopping here even though its the worst Aldi Ive been to because its the Aldi closest to my house. This location has poor customer service and is very crowded every time I go.Towards the beginning of the pandemic, the staff took building capacity seriously by having someone monitor how many people could come inside. In past few months, however, you can come and go as you please. This Aldi is busy most of the times Ive shopped here (1.5 years), so prepare for crowded aisles. In addition, the store typically has two registers open at a time, so lines run halfway down the store. This is not a grocery store you go to if you want to run in and run out. The cashiers commonly ring my groceries up wrong (adding the wrong quantity of a product or charging me the same price for all canned goods even if I have a few different ones). They may do it to shave a few seconds off so they can deal with the lines of customers faster. Since products are inexpensive, its not a huge deal, but its still poor customer service. The cashiers Ive had, especially in recent months, spend their time chatting with another co-worker while they ring me up.Again, Ill keep shopping here because of the low prices, but the customer service is bad, even by DC standards.

Really great group of hard working employees keeping this store standing amidst the pandemic - things couldnt keep going without you guys! Cant express enough thanks. Generally really busy place, wish more registers would remain open. Could be cleaner, and wish it had a broader selection like other newer Aldis in Maryland. But NE DC is so lucky to have it, so zero real complaints.

Nice size store. Plenty handicap parking. Go during the middle of day, less crowded. Have a quarter for basket. Folks outside to help with groceries. Nice selection of holiday gifts and low budget wines. Plenty parking easy access. Great selection of meats, cut medium size, which keeps the price down. Off brands but not bad in taste. Large fruit and vegetable section. Nice store to shop at when looking for a bargain. Cashiers are friendly working fast for quick check out.

I love this Aldi, they always have what you need and staff is friendly and the cashiers are very fast.

Update: Dont know if Ill come back. They dont allow firearms in the store, even if I have my permit. Less stars for that.Great prices! The selection isnt wonderful, but theyll have a majority of your everyday grocery needs.

They have reasonable prices on some items that you may fine too purchase for dinner or lunch.

I love Aldi. They have great prices, and good quality stuff. They have this great Yogurt that I really enjoy, and the milk has a better price than most other places. The turnover on produce is good, and often times there are little delights for snacking on. I must go at bad times, because usually only one or two registers are open. Remember to bring a quarter for the carts.

They were well stocked and even had seasonal wine I havent been able to find in other local Aldis. And prices are more competitive on some items.

Bought some Kaiser rolls got home found out a mouse or rat has eaten through one of the Buns not happy at all
