My favorite espresso drinks on the block. Creative menu and options. Their heroic lead barista, Jairo, never lets me down!!!Best kept secret -- Happy Hour from 6-9pm -- turns into a bar with dj and live music sometimes. Great cocktails. I usually order a bolani from the Afghan restaurant upstairs.

Came here to try the new cocktail and appetizer menu- super unique flavor combos and such a great environment! The bartender, Gordon, is really friendly. Ill definitely be coming here often once I make the move to DC :)

Impressive bar connected to/under Lapis and owned by the same people. Really enjoyed my time here for Profs & Pints. Food was from Lapis and to die for– I will be back to Lapis for sure for more. La Pop was decorated so well with creaky old wooden chairs, gorgeous brushed gold light fixtures and comfortably worn pillows. I love the rebrand and will certainly be back for more.

One of my fave coffee shops in the area! Since it’s in AdMo and parking can be scarce at certain times of the day, be cognizant of the time when planning your trip here. Love their coffee and seating area, perfect for getting work done or meeting up with a friend.

Came for a beer with a friend. Serves locally sourced Afghan food as well. There was a duo playing live music...very laid back, cool ambience.

I originally left a pretty negative review due to negative experiences here in the past. Recently one of my friends was talking about Lapop and how much they loved it. I decided I give it another chance. I’m so glad I did. The experience was completely different than my past visits. The staff was different and the customer service was excellent. The coffee was good, but they are now serving brunch from Lapis, upstairs. The brunch was delicious! I’m glad I gave it another go.

I love this place and their food and drinks are always incredible and well worth the price. Its a wonderful atmosphere. However, twice now Ive shown up to work and grab a coffee on a week day (between 1130 and 1230) and theyve been closed even though the hours state they are open. This is annoying for someone planning their schedule and making an effort to come here. If you have fluid hours then state it, dont say you open at 11 when in fact youre closed.

Good mood, but terrible service. And the quality of the coffee/tea drinks is really low. Pity. Never dare to order the chai latte or hot chocolate. It’s going to be just warm milk and nothing else.

Jairo is the King of Coffee!!! Always dialed in on the la marzocco. I get an iced americano unless I splurge for the flat white :)
