I’m usually never one to comment on a place or put down any service worker. I understand that people have bad days and times are hard right now however today I have to say something. I have been here several times over the years and I have always had a good experience here. The coffee was good and the ambiance was welcoming as well. Today however, I went in just wanting to use the restroom and possibly get a drink. When I walked in and asked if there was a restroom I was answered with the comment “ yeah, we have a restroom FOR PAYING CUSTOMERS ” An unwelcome and undermining tone was used for that comment and couldn’t have been taken any other way especially when I walked out of the restroom, stopped, and looked at the board to order a drink. An action that was answered with a smug look along with the word “GOOD” Talking to people like that when you own a shop with signs that say PEACE AND LOVE everywhere is a little ironic don’t you think Mrs. Bassler? In a welcoming scenario I would’ve gone to the bathroom and happily ordered a drink and enjoyed it, however there was a bitter taste left in my mouth today because of the way you spoke to me. I hope you learn to speak to people with the peace and love that it so proudly plastered everywhere in your shop . This is a learning experience for you not a calling out. I hope good things come your way and hard times pass quickly. God bless

My fiancé and I occasionally go to Cherry Ghost. We enjoy the atmosphere and the live music they have. However, today we were in Washington and my fiancé had to use the restroom really badly so she popped in for a minute and the lady behind the counter was extremely rude to her and said the bathroom was only for paying customers. She went and used the restroom and came back out and looked at the board to order a drink and the lady said good. I dont know if she was just having a bad day but that bad experience is another to make us go elsewhere for coffee. Maybe impressed, I heard they have pretty good coffee and better customer service. PS the lady behind the counter was the owner.

What a relaxed and friendly atmosphere! Excellent coffee choices. More than you have probably ever heard of! I recommend a book and a delicious cup of coffee or tea at this wonderful locally owned coffee shop! I like that all of the coffee cups are mismatched!

Excellent baristas that truly know how to pull a shot. Easily the best coffee in the tri-state area. Definitely on par with the best coffee shops in Seattle.

The lady was very helpful in directing us in what coffee to get. Atmosphere very relaxing. They have live music on Wednesdays (not scheuled) and scheduled on Friday nights. Bring your own instruments and mic setup.

I absolutely adore the atmosphere of the Cherry Ghost. It’s always relaxed, and the people are very nice. On top of that, the coffee is terrific and the ice cream is tasty.
