I was shocked at how well this experience went. I called and set an appointment for an oil change on my 3500 diesel. The previous days we had just arrived to the area from Savannah GA so I was really anxious to get the truck to the shop. On the call, I mentioned I had a recall on as well so the service writer added it to the work. When I arrived to drop off the truck they mention other recall notices that I was unaware of, and that they would take care of the two they can, and the third will require another trip once Ram instructs them on what to do. So at this point my truck is in their hands and I am now there hoping I can get my ride soon. The service writer mentioned that they would be more than happy to take me to where I needed to go. So the next I know myself and two others are being shuttled away. A few hours passed, I received a call that the truck was ready. I just so happened to be back in town, so I picked up the truck and off we went. Could not have been a more simple experience. The people were very courteous and professional. Top notch experience!

My experiences at Schicker have been beyond great. All the staff in the service department have been extremely knowledgeable and thorough in explaining any issue I may have. I have all of my vehicles serviced there, even my Toyota. And would not go anywhere else.

The sales portion of experience was great and financing was smooth as well until finance mgr got greedy. His partnership with certain bank divulged he added/held points on interest rate which I understand is a common practice. I tried contacting this finance mgr but was unavailable for days and leaves work prior to closing. The other finance mgr said he couldn’t help but would relay the message. Maybe two plus weeks of being unavailable I was finally able to get him on the phone. He owned up to this and said he’d reach out to his bank rep to try and rectify and follow up w me. Ten business days and no follow up. I got a hold of him and he said too much time had gone by to reverse paperwork and get the rate I earned. I suggest getting own financing and not rely on the finance dept to be fair.

Wife works here and we went up to the customer appreciation day and the kids had a blast riding around in the monster truck

If I could give them a 0 I would. The service department if thats what you want to call it, is pathetic. I will definitely be contacting BBB. and the GVIP for a pass inspection that they should not have passed. I also had my air-conditioner repaired not! Water ran in the floorboard and on my feet on the way home. Finally got that fixed. Oh I could go on but I think you get the point

I visited a few other dealerships and the salesman knew nothing about the vehicles I was looking at, not even the prices. I headed to Schickers and met salesman Daniel Young. Daniel was very nice and knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in.I was able to make a deal for a new vehicle with no pressure ( which I prefer) nice clean dealership, nice people working there and a great selection of new and used vehicles.I’ll be back for sure.

This is by far the best dealership I have ever been to, as far as repairs go.I have been to them several times and never once disappointed. They do great quality work, and make sure if you have any kind of leaks it is cleaned up nicely to prevent future problems. Even though past dealerships I have been to leave it there, so that you have to go back and they can get your money. Also make sure all your other fluids are recommended levels. Raymond Mccune the service advisor made sure that I stayed Informed whenever there were other problems and made sure that I understood the whole process, also left great notes on paperwork even showed me the issues so I knew the severity of it, What needed to be addressed now and what could wait a little bit if had to.The whole dealership and everyone who works there just has a great vibe and I would highly recommend.Also purchasing my next vehicle from them because they are that trustworthy, fair and nice to work with.

There are several things I could say here, but I’ll keep it brief. We were lied to in several instances. First, they said they would have the body damage fixed in a few days and the van was still there after those days had passed. Then the sales guy (Sunny) told us that he communicated to the admin lady that we had a deposit on it and that no one else could buy it, that turned it to be a lie. Instead of trying to make things better they continued to offer me the same deal after they treated me horribly. I was still willing to buy if they sweetened the deal, but they didn’t.

All the staff were friendly, courteous and assisted as much as they were capable.Vehicle was missing all the floor mats and the owners manual at the time of delivery. Very frustrating. Buy a new vehicle that is missing some of the items it is supposed to come with.Salesperson #1 (the seller) was not very well acquainted with the vehicle we purchased, and could not show us many features He kept referring us to visit the online owners manual or the owners manual which we did not have. In fact, my wife actually showed him some of the functions of the vehicle.Credit manager was nice and professional. mjk

I called about minivans on their used lot in Washington. The man I think his name was Reggie said he had to go look at them and he would call me back. He never did. I waited by the phone. I left Washington and went to Illinois Dodge dealer and bought a van. I was ready with financing and down payment. Done with them!

We had been searching for our vehicle for what felt like forever. We finally found it a Schicker. Zach was seriously the best! He explained everything upfront. Wasn’t the pushy type of salesman that I dread. He worked with me to make sure that I was good with everything and that I got every discount that I could. The finance manager was amazing as well! I had an extremely pleasant experience yesterday purchasing a vehicle from this fine establishment. Absolutely every employee from the salesman, finance manager, secretary, all the way down to the service technician, was friendly and knowledgeable. This was the best car buying experience I have had yet. My wife and I drove several different vehicles until we found the right one. We were never rushed or were pushed into anything. They searched for the right vehicle for us and gave us plenty of time in the vehicle to make sure we were happy. We came to a fair price easily and quickly. Everyone was very professional and friendly. Even in the finance office to finalize the deal, things were quick and painless. I know where my first stop will be when I look to purchase another vehicle in the future.

We traded in our Dodge Journey for a Dodge Grand Caravan. It was a 6 hour process. They gave us overvalue on our trade in and worked with us on the payments. We have not great credit, but they made it happen. We walked out of there with the van and $50 over on the monthly payment we were looking for. It was still within our budget, so it was good for us.The staff is great. Knowing that the process of purchase was agonizing as is, and we had 2 small kiddos with us, they did everything in their power to keep us comfortable and never left us alone for more than 20 minutes. Our salesman, Sonny, was honest with the flow, paperwork, and our wait time. He popped in on us to see if we needed anything and brought in snacks and beverages for the kids.Weve had the van for a few months now and I love it. Weve had no problems with it. I love the way it drives and I feel safe driving my family around in it. Its exactly what I had wanted and my husband and Sonny made it happen.When it comes time for a trade in, we will happily choose Schicker again.

Had a jeep online so I made an appointment to look at this jeep. When I got their on time they told me they loaded up the jeep and sent it to auction! I was told when they get another in they would call me and never got a call back.

Everytime I take my vehicle for warranty maintainance, there is a new problem most of the time and its usually the problem that was supposedly fixed from the prior visit.

Janky dealership I finance a 2014 Dodge Charger Witt 80k miles once I got home looked over the paper work i realized I could’ve went to another dealership n got a newer charger Witt way less miles I tried to take the car back the next morning but the dealership refused to take it back now I’m stuck Witt a 20,500 car Witt 102,000 miles smh

First off I dont normally leave reviews good or bad, but feel I must in this case. I purchased a used 2014 ram Laramie after my grand cherokee was totaled. I was In a time crunch to replace my jeep but still took the time to look at several trucks before I found one I liked. I looked at reviews like all of you and felt good about this dealership. I had several conversations with the salesman who even sent me a carfax on truck. He told me it was a one owner and no accidents. I decided to make the purchase. After driving it I started having issues with electrical and headlights filling with water when it rained amongst other issues. Was in shop most of the time I had it. Headlights were not part of warranty so I was told and quoted 900 each to replace them. When I bought it there was a scratch on door no big deal. I took it to have it repaired and after doing the repair the body shop told me that the truck had been in a significant front end collision. I then purchased my own car fax. Found out it was in a front end collision and was not a one owner truck but had been bought at auction by Schicker. At this point I wrote an email to owner and called him. He did not contact me back directly, but had someone else contact me. I was told about possible buy back and set up appointment with me. The night I went out there to meet we were having a good snow storm. I was coming from Columbia, IL. I really thought they would do the right thing, but now see its just about selling another vehicle not customer service. I got there and owner did not show. He set up salesman to meet with me. No buy back but said hed give me good deal on new truck. I regretable bought a new 2019 ram from him. Love the truck but did not get a good deal just got wore down from sales guy. Good job taking advantage of me twice. I told him I would be pulling a travel trailer and wanted to make sure this truck was equipped. He told me it was. I specifically asked him about gearing and trailer brake. He told me gearing didnt matter and trailer brake wasnt available. I fig i could have aftermarket put on so no big deal. Latter on I found out the brake was available and gearing did matter. The truck I got is not set up to tow a travel trailer. It does ok but should have been what I asked for. This is a 60000 $ truck. Now I find out this brand new truck a year after Ive had it was damaged and repaired before I bought it brand new. Please be aware of who youre dealing with and dont fall for the lies and get taken advantage of like I did. Very disappointedThought they were a different kind of dealership.

My family has purchased several new vehicles from Schicker and when it was barreth. They have a very nice selection of new and used cars. And for the most part the salesmen have been helpful. But I guess it is the same here as everywhere, you have to be very good at haggling to get the price any lower. With all the rebates that is how they advertise the final price of the car when you are actually not elegible for all of them. So you will end up paying more than what they have advertised on their site most likely.

I average a new vehicle every year, and normally buy across the country because I get better prices out of my area. That changed thanks to the work of Justin, the GM at this dealership. Straight shooter. Honest and forthright. Balances your needs/wants with those of the dealership. I had bad experiences at this dealership several years ago - and if you havent given them a 2nd try, you are doing yourself a disservice. This place is doing business the right way. I used to be able to say that about dealerships in St. Louis, but that has changed with the amount of add-ons after you negotiate the price of the vehicle that can add $1k+. No monkey business here.

I live in Pensacola Florida which is like 800 miles from this dealership so needless to say I was very skeptical about doing business so far away. I started talking to Zack Young about the truck I wanted and every conversation we had was always pleasing!! When we agreed on everything I went to my local bank and picked up a check to go buy this truck. All 800 miles to the dealership all I could think about is what is going to go wrong, something negative has got to happen with this deal, its just my luck! Anyway I got to the dealership early the next morning and Zack had everything ready to go! Every detail was done, he even took my truck over to get a software update installed which we never even discussed but it was something he caught and handled it so I didnt have to! Truck was clean and paperwork was ready! I was in and out with my new truck in less than 30 minutes! Sorry for rambling on but this was the best car buying experience I have ever had! When I get ready for something else I can assure you Schicker will be my first choice to turn to! Oh yeah forgot to mention I honestly saved about $2500 by doing business with Zack and Schicker, so yeah Ill drive 800 miles again for a deal like that! Anyone interested in buying a new car really should give them a call I honestly believe that you wont regret it!

DONT BUY A CAR HERE!!!I bought used car from Schicker Chrysler, Washington, MO location. Was told Our service department checked it out and it is great car The car had over 200,000 miles, but I took their word that it was a great car. Drove car off lot, got down road 20 miles, engine light comes on. The car was inspected by the dealer just before we left with it. The codes say it is Catalytic converter. I call the dealer and was told, bring the car up we will check it and see what we can do. The dealer offered to pay half the cost of the new converter. Total bill 660.00. Reluctantly I agreed but still felt like I should NOT have to pay anything. I brought the car into Dealer on scheduled day for service. They dealer is taking the car to off site muffler shop for repair. The part was never ordered.... just ran the car in circles back and fourth to dealer, dealer to muffler shop and back to dealer.. Meanwhile I have asked dealer to look at belts and pulleys cause I am hearing a noise. So I make second appointment the following week. bring the car into dealer, the dealer takes it to muffler shop, new converter is installed. Dealers Service Department looks at car AGAIN for belt and pulley issues. Nothing is found. I drive away in the car and immediately notice a new noise which I believe is an exhaust leak. I called muffler shop myself, took the car there and the Muffler shop says it is pulley and belt tension problem. Advanced Auto service in Union took a look at it says the Alternator Clutch Pulley is locked up.After multiple calls to Sales/Service managers and President John Schicker, Nothing has been done to correct the situation. Paid $4,000.00 for a car and the car requires over $800.00 in repairs before even driving 50 miles. Thought I was buying a Great Car.

This is a repeated situation with my vehicle. . they would not give me a rental car while they worked on my car. My car is under warranty. I need a car to drive to work. I have only one vehicle. The service reps. are not helpful to me. Engine light has come on repeatedly. My oil had been really low. 2 times. I have my oil changed regular & on time. My vehicle just died twice as I was driving on a highway. I could of got killed if it happened on the interstate. Had to get it towed only after repeatedly calling & asking for help! 😠.They did not inform me I had free towing service only after i had to called back repeatedly when another service rep answered yes, when I asked about towing. They are so impersonal, uncaring, nor warranty fulfillment & do not go to fulfill customer satisfaction. Im a dissatisfied new Chrysler vehicle owner. I now only have 44,000 miles on my car. A lot of issues since I bought this new car..😞😔😟😢

Absolutely worst place to buy a car in the areaUpdate: This place sold me a Chrysler Town and Country that has continued to have nothing but problems. It started with the catalytic converter 3 times and now my alternator is out. I bought this van in June and every time I try to use my warranty they argue with me. They sold me a junk van and wont fix the problems. Ill never buy a car here and no one I associate with will either. Everyone Ive talked to says they are bad. So thanks for the junk van Schicker, I wish youd take it back.

I just got done at Barreth Chrysler Service getting tires for my 14 Ram! What a deal got a great set of Michelin tires at a great sale price! only paid $1 for the fourth tire. And it came with road hazard. Nice to know if Im broke down with a flat tire I can get a new one. AND the service was super fast

Got a great car, but when I bought it I received a car report not showing a single accident. When I got home after purchasing the car I purchased my car fax and it had one reported accident. The sales associate had left that out of the report. I definitely should have checked before the purchase, my car is great but I wish that information hadnt been kept from me.

I am a return vehicle purchase customer and a return service customer. Have always been treated fairly and with the respect due a repeat customer. We made what I considered a fair deal to both sides with very little haggling.Have always been given good treatment at the service center. Always told what needed to be done, what it would cost and how long it would take. Never pressured, always informed. Prices for service were comparably to other places and even better on tires.My only complaint was waiting around to complete paperwork after the deal was made for our new truck but I understand that there was another customer ahead of us. Not enough complaint to remove a star.

Service department was very shady. I brought my charger in to get a simple ball joint replacement which took 3 full working days and magically my car developed a radiator leak while it was there. My charger had never leaked an ounce of anything in 5 years and it was NOT leaking when I brought it in. Ill never let them touch any of my vehicles again.

I recently purchased a Ram 2500 diesel from Schicker in Washington, MO and was very pleased with the transaction. I dealt with Kirk who was quite easy to work with and felt no pressure at any time to buy the vehicle. I had a great experience ! The staff was friendly. The car buying experience was wonderful ! Bought a BRAND NEW Dodge Grand Caravan. There was one thing I was upset about after the fact. I went out of state - 8 hours away and had a flat tire. (Thank goodness for Triple A)They arrived to change my tire for me & dropped the spare tire .. to our amazement there wasnt one ! On a brand new vehicle ! Called the dealership and was told Dodge no longer equips their automobiles with spare tires - this is a custom add on. Are you kidding me ?!?! Ridiculous ! Nice to know after the fact .. I think EVERY SINGLE PERSON SHOULD BE TOLD UP FRONT !
