Woody has helped me out twice! Once whenI had a flat and he drove to my car, put in air so I could get to his shop and then repaired the tire in about 5 minutes. He only charged me $15. I decided to go to him for a large repair job and his work was great, and his prices were honest. Really appreciated him working with me to get to price I could afford. Couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Friendly, fast and fair. Brought my car in at 7:15 am for an oil change and to have a weird rattle checked out. Received a call shortly thereafter detailing what needed to be done and alerting me to some minor additional work (new filters). Picked my car up at noon and paid a reasonable and fair price. I’ve always found Metro Motor to be honest and helpful.

I needed an emergency repair and they worked with me to find a time to get me in the shop. The service was excellent and the price more than fair. Very happy with the results.

I wanted to share a great experience for anyone traveling through the DC area or a resident.My wife and I were mid road trip when the right front bearing in our van failed. After calling AAA for roadside assistance and picking a garage from some quick road side review reading here on yelp, we picked Metro Motor as they were the closest to where we were broken down.Ben, the tow truck driver, was awesome and also happened to be from the Metro Motor team. He got us safely off the highway and over to the garage right away and was in contact with us via cell to make sure he found us a quickly as possible...awesome guy.At the garage we met Caesar and the rest of the team. Even though it was way after hours everyone was working since they had customers to serve. These guys hustle! Caesar and I had a quick chat where I tried to explain the sound I thought might be a bearing self destructing and then he queued us up to be next in the garage to see what really failed. He said to check back in an hour so we went to grab some food and in an hour checked back. It was as I guessed and Caesar confirmed that our bearing was no more. He thought he could get us back on the road the following day so we booked a hotel room and waited to hear back.Come 11pm we got a call from Caesar who had found the parts needed, drove out to get them and then was going to keep working through the night to get things back up and running! Amazing!The next morning we got things sorted out paperwork wise, had a nice chat with the rest of the guys in the garage and though we had a surprise 24 hr stop in DC, we were back on the road. Did I say amazing yet...these guys are great.There were no surprises, everything was explained clearly from what had failed to what steps were next to get us back on the road safely. The overall cost of the work was more than reasonable and considering Im writing this review 3 weeks later tells you the quality of the repair (and that I like to test out work before I write a review).Everyone at the garage from Caesar to the cashiers and everyone was friendly, courteous and just awesome in how they treated two travelers making an unplanned stop.If you break down or if you need some work done and these guys are nearby dont hesitate. These guys are fantastic!

I took in my Corolla to Metro Motor to have the front control arm bushings replaced after getting a $2,100 quote from the Ourisman Fairfax Toyota Service Center. Metro Motor called the same day to tell me that the front control arm bushings looked totally fine and that they didnt need replacing. I am so grateful to have found an honest auto shop and I cannot stress how highly I recommend Metro Motor. I had such a positive experience that I will plan to have my car serviced exclusively at Metro Motor.

This place and the people I talked to were great. Our car had broken down on Saturday and this was the triple AAA recommended location. We called the location they were straightforward with how much it would cost and when we picked up the car Monday morning it ran perfectly and the price ended up being at the very lowest end of the estimate . Would definitely recommend for any work needed on car for a fair price especially if it relates to the engine.

Great experience, so glad to have found a legit and trustworthy shop in my new neighborhood. Car broke down and the AAA guy suggested this place instead of the place Id suggested-- I lucked out! Dontae is the fantastic manager here and he kept me informed throughout the process, looked to save me money by finding the part at a less expensive place than where I had sourced the part, and had me on the road by the end of the day. I had service done at both the MacArthur Blvd location and River Rd. Both times I have had great experiences with the service managers and the mechanics. I have a few antique cars and they were always able to get me back on the road having fun. Always able to diagnose problems and locate the proper parts. A great can do attitude!!

Was WONDERFUL! I had an issue with my truck, ran it through my code-reader at the house and was something I was not prepared to undertake. When I brought the truck to the shop in the morning, I described the problems and the team beat me to what the code was. They were also able to complete the work the same day. I was incredibly thankful. they also focused in on my problem and didnt try to engage me or sell me on lots of additional elective work. They fixed the issue and got me on the road. Thank you!

I arrived from Montreal, Canada to visit Washington DC just to find out that my muffler was quite noisy. I called AAA and was recommended to go to Woodie. I called the garage, and right away Woodie asked me to come in and that he’d have a look at the problem. The front muffler pipes that had been changed by my Montreal Garage were faulty, Woodie took a picture and even got in touch with my garage in Montreal.Story short, Woodie went above and beyond what I would have expected. He organized to get another part shipped (faster than Nappa) and even got it covered by the warranty. Once he received the part, he changed it the same day with a very reasonable cost of the labor.Incredible, I wish all people would be like Woodie. He is an example to us all not only to exceed in terms of service, but to be a genuine person overall and always help when necessary. Bravo!

Got my blades and headlight cleaned, was in and out in 30 minutes. Great attitudes from the guys working. I normally go to carwashes but sit for nearly a hour for these 2 jobs.

This station went above and beyond to try to fix my car, they were honest, and told me it would cost more to fix car than it was worth, they even stored my car for free while I came home to get my other vehicle to tow it back, mind you I live out of state. It took me 3 days to get back, they loaded it on tow dolly for me, they were all friendly and helpful, very polite, I definitely recommend this station, if I ever go back to this state I will drop by get gas and say Hi.
