I was in DC for vacation and managed to damage my bumper pretty seriously on a pole. Mr. Rahim was incredibly kind, fast, and honest. Other repair shops probably wouldve taken advantage of someone in my situation, but Mr. Rahim did not. The repairs he made were fast enough that I had my car well in advance of when I needed it to return home, they went above and beyond my expectations, and were very fair in pricing. I could not recommend their services enough.

Ever since my dad put me on to Patriot Auto service last year, it has been my go-to for any any every auto body or internal automotive problem.I call and get an immediate appointment. I get fast, super friendly service and their prices are the BEST and best all the other competing companies I have used in the past 20 years I’ve lived in this area.You cannot go wrong!Recently, I went in to replace a Burnt headlight bulb and they fixed it in minutes and didn’t charge or anything exploit me as a woman. It just needed to be screwed in tighter.I know several other repair shops would not be so nice about it and would have charged me and taken advantage of my lack of knowledge!Now if that isn’t a reason to remain loyal I don’t know what is!Highly recommend!!

Cant say enough good things with how helpful they were with helping me pass DC Inspection. The other shop told me to change both Catalytic Convertors which cost over $2000.00. Brought my car to Moe at Patriot and he just changed me Exhaust Pipe and Muffler, also a full tune up and that was it. My car drove way better and passed inspection with no problems. They saved me almost $1000.00 dollars. Great Service. I will definitely come back and recommend my family and friends to them. Thank you again guys.

Had a wonderful experience at Patriot Auto Services. I scraped the side of my car against a cement wall and took my car to get it repaired. The staff assisted me right away and repaired my car within a day. I recommend this shop and will without a doubt visit this location for any future repairs/services.

A friend recommended Patriot to me several years ago when my dealer gave me a huge estimate for an unnecessary repair. The folks at Patriot looked at the car and told me the repair wouldnt be necessary for a couple more years (and when it finally was, they replaced the muffler for about 30% less than the dealers estimate). Since then, Ahmad has always treated me fairly and done outstanding work. I finally decided to junk my seventeen-year-old car last month, and Patriot helped me get it to the junkyard with no hassle. I wont take my new car anywhere else. You can definitely trust Ahmad to be honest, clear, and fast with the work your car needs.

I banged up my friends car backing out of a parking space and was looking to get the scratches and dent repaired quickly and at a reasonable price. I went to four auto body repair shops within a mile of ASU/VIP/Patriot and they offered me the lowest price, which was a tie with another shop. I chose this one because I trusted the mechanic was being honest and sincere with me and was more confident in his capacity to get the job done well, quickly, and at the price I was quoted. By all accounts, I was not disappointed. The car was ready when he said it would be, the cost was exactly what I was quoted, and the work was so good that there was no indication the car had ever incurred any damage. To top it off, the mechanic had a very friendly personality. I would recommend ASU/VIP/Patriot to others and would return here for future repair needs.

Twice very recently within one really hectic month I had unexpected car repairs, and both times the team at Patriot Auto Services professionally and conveniently solved those surprises for me with immediate service and some welcome humor.(This wouldve actually been two 5-star reviews if I wasnt so terrible about following up to write reviews in general.)By lucky chance I first noticed the shop while at the Uhaul store across the street. Less than two weeks later I end up needing their services the day before Im set to leave town for a long weekend. That morning I heard a loud thunk followed by unsettling loud rumblings every time I accelerated, so I stopped at Patriot on my way home hoping they took walk-ins. Ahmad offered a friendly greeting, quickly figured out the problem (muffler), probably saw the stress on my face and made me laugh about it, then agreed to let me leave my car on their lot over the weekend while I was gone. Quick, easy, and gracious.Less than a month later (last week), on my way home from work a scraping-spinning metal kind of noise started from the front right wheel. Again drove straight to Patriot, this time right before theyre about to close (my bad for not noticing the time). Ahmads father (unfortunately did not get his name) listened for the noise even though they were closing, and offered I leave the car overnight. I knew they worked on it first thing as they called me by 9:30 to let me know the problem - repair to the brake shield (thanks DC potholes). My car was ready to go by 10 am.So thats the professional service and welcoming attitude, and I didnt even mention price yet. Their hourly labor rate is very competitive. I dont know how my automotive knowledge compares to another average person but Im not in the dark. Ive dealt with a lot of shops and Ive certainly been talked down to by other mechanics and/or given a run around. I can tell this family respects their customers and values honest business dealings.No matter where I live in the District, Patriot Auto Services will be my trusted neighborhood shop. Any amount of traffic will be worth their service.

Theres no reason to go to any other auto repair shop in DC. Absolutely spectacular service every time.

It is not possible to say enough good things about these guys. When our car broke down in DC on a voyage from New Jersey to North Carolina we took it to the nearest auto repair shop; as luck would have it, they are also the best in DC. They graciously kept our vehicle on one of their four lifts for 4 days while waiting for hard to find parts. They didnt just put in a new clutch, they repaired and replaced all relating parts and even had a machinist refurbish our fly wheel assembly to save us money on a part that could be repaired insteadof replaced. The place was abuzz with business well earned. The family that runs the shop was professional, passionate, caring and tenecious going above and beyond in their quest for excellent service. The best part is these are people focused on doing the best work, not building the largest bill. Their prices were very fair with no bs fees. They even invited us to dinner the next time we are in town. Much thanks and love to the Rahim family.
