I’ve met some nice/helpful people in store, however whoever is managing their phones (specifically customer service) need to be fired. I called about 7 times just wanting to know if they had a product available in their store and I was put on hold and hung up on each time. They wasted a good 2 hours of my time and turned me into a Lowe’s super fan because I will never shop here again.
This Home Depot is very convenient if you’re in the Rhode Island/Brentwood NE DC Area. They offer a verity of products that can help you with your Lawn, Garden, Appliances, Painting, Outdoor Patio, Home Improvement, Cleaning Products, Tools/Equipment Rentals and many many more. I really Appreciate the help from a young male staff who was working in the Garden/Mulch area, he was very Helpful and Knowledgeable with assisting me with the products along with a young female cashier on the inside of the store. Now you can never get the help you need when you’re in the store aisles. Every time you asked a staff member who’s in the same aisle as you. Can you help me with something? Their reply seems to be, I don’t work over here and they don’t know who can help you..!!! Home Depot needs better training for their staff who’s working in the store aisles..
Recently I was at this home depot to buy pad locks and processed to the isle to find one, unfortunately most of the things are misplaced and it was hard to know the price. Grabbing two of different pad locks and goes to the register to get help to check the price and asked one of the employee to help me to check but she was not happy and murmured something that I cant hear but at last she did it and I paid for one and then left.WHO IS RESPONSIBLE TO HELP THE CUSTOMERS?
I approached going to this Home Deport with some trepidation based on the 3.8 points and reviews of customer service. I could not have been more pleased than what I found. Beverly B in appliance and Chris in Cabinets were readily available, knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. They each knew their product, gave excellent advice, and made figuring out what to buy for my kitchen redo a pleasure. I hope management will read this and let them know that Beverly and Chriss professionalism was much appreciated.
Staff is courteous,nice and very professional. Store is well equipped all items for home day home in/outdoor needs. Store is neat and organized, also professionally cleaned daily. Check them out. You wont be disappointed.

I am a 74 year old, diabetic amputee, who has has been coming to this store for years(why I dont know). The staff never can tell you where something is, or they will tell you thats not my department. It happens almost every time! I will be to Montgomery County, from now on. GOODBYE.
One of my favorite locations always can find what you need. Great inventory and the staff is always helpful.

The Rhode island Ave location is the worst. I am disabled and the motorized chairs are never available and working. I asked an employee about it and he blamed it on covid 19. That was not acceptable. No more patronizing that location. Needs looking into by their corporate office immediately!
I always find what I need here. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Plants are great quality here with great return policy if you get a bad one.
This is more of a review for Michelle, who works over in the Windows and Door section, rather than the Home Depot itself.Michelle was amazing and incredibly easy to work with. She was patient as she explained all of the different window options, sought out the best price, gave great advice and followed up with the manufacturer on a later date to rush the delivery and secure the order in a timely fashion. In other words, she went above and beyond and was a delight to work with. Will definitely be coming back to her. Thank you!
Convenient location but the store always seems low on specialty products and staff seem underpaid/undervalued. Worth the drive to lowes for better customer service.
Nice place, nice people. Just make sure to keep valuables out of site in car while shopping. Ive seen a widow get broke in times past here.

We spent $6k on hardwood floors and signed up for text message updates about delivery. Delivery was scheduled for Jul 7th and we planned to be ready to receive the flooring.On July 6th, while we were away at the dump, all of our flooring was delivered with no notice to us. Thousands of pounds of floors was left near the side of the road with absolutely no protection, and no one to receive it.We had no way of knowing. It wasnt stolen or rained on, bit it certainly could have been. We would have no way of knowing.Will avoid Home Depot in future, cannot be trusted with big purchases.

A staff member named Kevin helped me in the store this evening. Without me even asking, he graciously helped me find what I was looking for. He was extremely friendly and kind. He even pulled up a large step ladder to grab an item that was out of stock from the very top shelf. I could tell he is extremely hard working and finds pleasure in helping customers.
I rarely need to go to Home Depot but whenever I do the associates and staff are always pleasant in helping me find what I need in such a large store.
They have Milwaukee packout new three-drawer and four-wheel dolly and a great variety of everything. Big volume store.
This store is massive for being in DC but their customer service is horrendous. Store associates want to argue and hassle you if you ask them to get a product off the top shelf when product isnt on the bottom shelf.
Pretty good Home Depot in a very convenient location with plenty of parking.Courteous staff. The lumber guys are really helpful and are more than happy to provide complimentary cuts to lumber in order to fit it in your vehicle.Good selection of power tools and a 10% military discount.

You can find pretty much everything but some things you look at online are not always there. The sellers sometimes are quite inaccessible.

Its a home depot. They have everything and the staff here have always been helpful - if you can find one who isnt busy helping someone else. The only complaint I have is that its always very busy.
No employees in the store. The ones that are there are lazy and rude. They are not helpful at all. I’ve had to come here several times in the middle of a move and was so disappointed by the lack of service at this store. Needs new management and leadership
This HD is like most HD, theres never anyone around when you need help. It seems like you only see those orange smocks at the register or walking in the opposite direction.
Poor customer service but what do you expect from a store in DC. You’ll find vastly more knowledgeable person(s) in the parking lot looking for work then anyone being paid to wear the apron.

I ordered a window and it was not the dimensions specified. I have been trying for over 2 months to talk to a manager but each email and phone call ai make is brushed aside and Im told over the phone My manager will call you back but I never get a call back and my emails (I send 1 email a day) are 100% ignored even though I have been verbally informed the emails have been received. In this regard the customer service is down right atrocious. Yet in store help is impeccable. Management needs to assess this!

Returned a Penske Truck from Miami in Washington, DC...fast and courtesy service, unlike the Miami pickup experience that I committed earlier.
People work there did not take care of customer they are ignoring you when youre asking for something I think they need to training better

It seems that you always need to chase down a employee to get help and when you find one they tell you it is not their department. There are a few employees that take pride in their jobs and know their departments well and will give good assistance in finding what you want even if it is at another location. Note: That is not the norm and good luck on finding a manager quickly. I have spent an hour getting assistance on one item that I found listed at their store on the internet and staff did not know where to find it in their stock. Bring a lunch.
Im late in buying my summer plants and vegetables. Still had a good variety at excellent prices.

I went in for a few plumbing fittings and came out like I went to a flea market and the grocery store. Needless to say I received a few words when I walked in the door. Clearance deals always get me and whenever I am able to roam at my pace and go through each aisle, it becomes a full day and full pay check when Im free to roam. Not a good thing. Home Depot is an amazing store with a ton a variety, but some things will be more expensive than a wholesaler.

Good store, lots to choose from, you can find just about anything you are looking for, only short coming is sometimes you cannot find an associate to assist you. It is not good to seem lost in such a stocked store. Maybe they will have more staff in the coming months.

Anytime I need some tools some kind of component or anything to work on my house I can always swing past this home Depot and get it really quickly the eyes are organized the people are friendly and they all know where things are. I went in to buy some new outlets for my home decided to switch out to USB and USB C
Its the same as it has been for years. You need to know exactly what you want and where to find it before you go inside. There are a lot of associates just standing around, but not one of them can actually help you. For example, cutting lumber to length.

This Home Depot has almost everything you need as many other Home Depots but it is hard to get a staff to help you, the selection of plants is not to varied. Customer service on the other hand and what works best for my household is to buy online for pickup.
As usual, they have it inventoried on the Home Depot app, but when you get there it’s just mysteriously missing. I can’t tell you how many times this is happened and I’ve just gone to Lowe’s
Not really a fan of home depot, I prefer lowes. This location isnt that great. The customer service is hit or miss all depends on the day. My most recent visit I was trying to get some blinds cut, I ended up waiting around for a total of 3O minutes while asking staff members who passed by for help. They kept telling me they didnt know how to work the machine and calling for help on aisle 33. When the correct guy came over to used the machine to cut the blinds he found that the machine was broken. Soo theres that.
I had a 1:15 appointment today. I arrived at cabinets excited to begin kitchen project and waited for 30 min. No one even asked me if I needed assistance. I finally left. Home Depot confirmed appointment this morning.
Worst store I’ve ever been to. Item I was buying didn’t have a price sticker and the cashier said I would have to go all the place I got it and find a sticker myself. Nice. Very nice.

I place an online order for curbside pickup. It was not ready by the time I got to the store. The guy told us we could pick out our own stuff because they were very busy. We didnt have a problem with that as we didnt want to wait a long time for our order to be ready. He said he would bring us the receipt for our order but he never returned. We waited for approximately 30 minutes for him to come back. I spoke to the manager who was able to bring out the receipt.
I was able to rent a carpet cleaner and chain saw from here for a great price!
Was overcharged on several items. Told the cashier, and he was totally confused. Told him to return the items to my card and re ring with the correct price. He was confused what to do. So he gave me cash and started ringing the items. I told him that I didnt want cash just return to my card. After about 10 minutes. I asked for another person who could help. Other than that, I enjoy shopping at Home Depot.

Well...I got measurements for a storm door taken through Home Depot and ordered the door based on those measurements. After a bunch of phone tag with the store, I was then told I had to physically go to the store to schedule someone coming to install the door, which I did. I’ve now been here for 30 minutes and unable to find someone who can help me despite talking to three different employees. Went to the door section which was a ghost town so I found an employee who called for assistance in the door section. I waited for about 10 minutes or so, then went and found someone else, who told me to go to Customer Service. Went there and they told me to go back to the door section and called again for someone to go there to assist me. Been sitting here back in the door section, alone, for another ten minutes. I’m gonna give it another 10 minutes and in the meantime look up other companies in the area that might be able to install this door for me, because I have wasted about all the time I care to trying to find someone to help with this.
Very nice plays, I went in there with my Dad to return something. We didnt waste anytime there. Staff was helpful and really did put our health as a priority. They made sure all costumers were social distancing. 4 stars, good job.

I know this Home Depot well so it is always an easy in & out for me. The employees are extremely helpful if you ask them a question. They always have someone directing check-out traffic which I find very helpful to keep things moving quickly.
