Ive seen other eye doctors and used other optical centers based on changes with my insurance coverage. This is by far my favorite. I love Dr. Apple and her staff. They are true professionals. She and her staff convinced me to transition to progressive lenses. One of her staff members, Debbie, was super helpful and provided her personal insight and experience with progressive lens. I found her insight so helpful. Thanks to Dr. Apple and her Sterling optical team. Your commitment is truly appreciated!

I cant say enough wonderful things about this Sterling Optical. I drive from Anne Arundel County to see the staff and doctor there. Everyone is so sweet and helpful. The owner of the business, Lisa, goes out of her way to make you feel welcomed. Also- anytime I have needed assistance with ordering contacts, they have been very responsive and make the process seamless. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I went in a few days ago looking to update my lens prescription and the staff was so sweet and patient essentially this little one named michaella, I think was her name. Overall amazing staff

I am in LOVE with this location in Waldorf. Great experience. The facility is very clean and well organized, and I received great service! They spend a lot of time explaining, attending to your insurance options. Very impressed with the entire staff. Enthusiastically recommended. I will never go anywhere else. For me this is home to my eyes.

I had an appointment scheduled for 2:30. I got there @ 2:25 and had the “paperwork” done by 2:30. By 2:50 I still had not been seen or updated on why I hadn’t been seen yet. It wasn’t until 3:00 that the lady my appointment was scheduled with came out of her previous appointment and told me she was ready for me. I told them I’d reschedule for another day when I can be seen on time. It is beyond unprofessional and inconvenient to have patients come and sit and wait that long when all it takes is an update. At least let me know that it’ll be a wait. Common courtesy goes a long way. After my next appointment I don’t know if i’ll be returning to this location for eye exams or any appointments in general.UPDATE*I had my rescheduled appointment with Dr. Apple today and she was quite thorough. Today was a much more pleasant experience as she was prompt, knowledgeable and helpful when administering my eye exam. We had an honest conversation about past hiccups with scheduling and timing, and all was resolved. I appreciate the warm welcome back.

Staff very pleasant & professional. New owner appears to lack customer service skills, based on my interactions with her, during my past 3 visits. She did not acknowledge me when I walked in (no other customers present).

I came in on time, but was not greeted by anyone, unlike the other patients who came in. So, I had to seek service. Another patient came in after me, who had an appt. for 11:15. Despite the fact that mine was at 11:00, she was taken first. I asked the women at the counter about this, and they only gave an excuse and apologized without giving me any further information. Not a fan of the cold shoulder, especially considering this was my first time here and I dont know how things work.

I wouldnt go anywhere else. Everyone here is great.
