I’d recommend this place over any other in the area.UPDATE: My review rating quickly went from 5 to one star when my mattress never arrived. The original date it was supposed to be delivered we received a call that it would arrive within the next 30 minutes and everything was great. A few minutes goes by and they call back saying they are having trouble finding the location..soon to find out they are in the wrong STATE. Jim set the address to NJ not NC. After calling the store and speaking with a woman, she insured the soonest we could get the mattress would be another week since they actually dont have the mattress in stock in their NC warehouse. Not sure why I wasnt told the mattress I chose wasnt in stock but no problem, I could wait a week and I knew mistakes do happen. Well today is the day it was supposed to be delivered and its no where to be found. I received no call about it coming or a time frame so I can insure someone is home. I call the store and a woman informs me its not coming today. I am then told that the mattress arrived to them damaged and I will have to wait ANOTHER week. Unfortunately, I will be taking my money some where else where I dont have to wait nearly 2 weeks for an expensive mattress to arrive.

Jim is fantastic! We arrived 20 minutes before closing time but he stayed with us helping us find the right mattress for an hour after the place closed. We got the Tempur-Pedic bed that has the adjustable electronic/mechanical base so we can tilt up to watch TV. This gentleman knows what he is doing and is very patient. I highly recommend this place. I visited today, 10/20/20 and was helped by Jim. From the moment I stepped into the store until the moment I left, he was very attentive. He answered every question I had, and made sure that I got the bed that was right for me. I never felt pressured to purchase something that I didnt need. he explained the differences between the different types of mattresses as well as the bases. If you are in the market for a new bed I highly recommend this location. A couple months ago we went there and bought a bed and was helped by Ashley. She was also very attentive and very helpful and very informative. The entire staff at this store really know their stuff and know how to make a customer feel welcome!

They were great at helping us find a mattress that fit our price range and our needs. They were also great at adjusting delivery dates when we found out our bed frame (coming from a furniture store) wasnt being delivered on time. And when our bed frame delivery was pushed back for 2 more months, our associate threw in a free frame so we could still get our mattress on time! So helpful!

Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. My boyfriend and I are local to this area and shopping for a new mattress. Out of all the places we went to this was by far the worst. Im not sure if we were ignored and treated poorly because were black or because we are in are twenties or what but it was very clear they were intent on not helping us at all. When we walked in they hesitantly gave us a very dry unenthusiastic greeting Hi, welcome to mattress warehouse. We spent about 20 mins looking around and that was the first and last time they spoke to us. Both employees just sat in the back of the showroom carrying conversation that was obviously not appropriate for customers to hear due to the cursing and they didnt even try to do it quietly because we were all the way on the other side of the store and could hear them. They were not at all concerned with making a sale and it was very clear. We seriously considered one mattress but ultimately decided to leave because of how rudely we were treated. Would give them zero stars if I could.

THIS PLACE DOES NOT KEEP THEIR GUARANTEES!!! Missed an entire day of work to be home for a delivery that never happened. Went to the store on Saturday 9/14 had a great experience trying different mattresses and finally purchased one. That whole process went smoothly and was told the mattress would be delivered Wednesday 9/25. 11 days.... Mattress Warehouse you had 11 days and could not send a notification that the delivery got pushed to Friday 9/27??? All of the paperwork states the delivery was scheduled for Wednesday 9/25. Where ya at Mattress Warehouse?? Cause you are definitely not at my house delivering a mattress!! Now I need to go purchase an air mattress because I have family arriving tomorrow and no where for them to sleep. Why’s that? Well because mattress warehouse failed to deliver it when they were supposed to. Waiving a $50 delivery fee does not resolve this problem. Please fix your incompetency and total lack of communication. Guess I should’ve went to Mattress Firm....

We havent bought a mattress in years and wasnt too sure on the process. But we went here to Mattress Warehouse and Shanail gave us a great deal for our new mattress! We saved so much money!!

Anxiety and paranoia plagued my mind at the thought of buying a mattress. Ashli was very tentative when i was buying my mattress. She worked with me for a few months before I made my final decision. She is freaking awesome and has so much knowledge when it comes to Tempur-Pedic mattresses (which is what I got). She made this experience as painless as possible! I am so thankful! :)

The wrong mattress was delivered initially which delayed delivery by about a week. The delivery was again delayed when I asked to switch out the box springs (a comfort exchange). I was told this wouldn’t be a problem but it delayed delivery again which I wasn’t informed about. Ashli was very helpful in helping to remedy all this and we finally have our correct mattress but I was a little disappointed things kept getting delayed considering the amount of money we are paying for this mattress.

Dont waste your time. How do you expect to sale items if you are not willing to give a total price? I went by Saturday to take a look myself. Talked to Jim and told him I would bring my wife back tomorrow to shop. Came back the next day with my wife. Told Jim this was the first stop that we were going to visit others today. We made a selection of a split King that we requested a price on it. Jim didnt want to give us the complete out the door price so we got an estimate and moved on. About 30 minutes later called Jim and asked if he could give us a price on the same mattress in a regular king instead of split King. He said he rather we come back in the store. I was like we just left we just need a price. He refused to give us a price saying he thought we were just shopping around prices. Well we are that is part of the process when spending several thousand dollars. But if you cant give me a price how do you expect to make a sale. We bought a mattress that day elsewhere.

Our experience with Mattress Warehouse, specifically with Ashli and Shanail was nothing short of amazing. Having been to several other mattress retailers and after following an incredibly irritating experience at Mattress Firm at the Wake Crossing store location, it was refreshing to be in a store with sales people who are down to earth and not pushy and aloof. Ashli and Shanail were helpful and accommodating, guided us in our decisions, answered our questions honestly, and treated us like humans who wanted to buy some mattresses, not the next-in-line consumer who they could force an overpriced memory foam option down our throat. Avoid mattress firms at all cost, especially since they legally re-use mattresses and sell them again. That’s your restocking fee at work.
