This is the cutest ice cream shop with authentic Mexican ice cream. I had never been, so glad I found this sweet little spot. It was so good!!! La Nueva is so clean inside with very sweet employees as well!

Delicious variety of paletas, ice cream, and comforting favorites served locally. Some of my favorites to order are the mangonadas, the conchitas preparadas, and the chocolate covered bananas. The list goes on... Friendly and engaging service in both English/Spanish. Super clean establishment.

The dried fruit ice cream is amaze-balls. Actually all the ice cream is amazing. And the popsicles. And the fruit drinks. Seriously, go try it.

2nd time visiting in 2 days. Baseball tournament in the area and with this Texas hot weather I searched for a fruteria and this was the closest. I got lucky! First time I had agua de melon, agua de limon and the guayaba ice cream is so so good, really good. Second time I got a Guayaba ice cream (its that good) a agua of piña colada, horchata, limon Everything was very good and fresh. Customer service was also good very nice. Ill stop by every time Im in the area from now on! Good variety of snacks, ice cream, and fruit.

Love the ice cream and prices but they’re never open at 11:30 as posted or even 12 noon. Three times I’ve stopped by and no one is there.

I give this place five stars for their products, all are awesome and the staff is great. But the only problem is I seldom see the store open by 11:30 as the operation hours claim. I need my ELOTES FIX PEOPLE!!! 😆🙃 👍

This is definitely the best of the best! My favorite is the strawberry horchata & strawberry Italian ice (non-dairy ice cream).. !!! I love it again and again on any occasion !! Plus the employees here are very kind and eager to serve you when you arrive. Dont plan to go here on a Wednesday evening since they set that time aside for church. Ive seen them open up after church service is over, but thats not very often.

No other ice cream shop holds a candle to this place. It tastes like each ice cream is homemade and creamy, the corn is amazing the mangonadas amazing, the ice cream with the gansito amazing. The horchatas and limonadas yeah thats right amazing. Dont waste your money or time going anywhere else.

Where should I begin? About everything this place has is really good. This is the place to get your Antojos (cravings) out of the way. My favorite is the fresa horchata (strawberry rice milk) and the corn that is prepared in the to go boxes, lots of ice creams, fruits, treats and food snacks to choose from at a great price, lets not forget the great customer service, cleanliness and inside seating.Edit: the corn prepared here is the BEST!! (Get the cheese sauce)🤤

They have the best rice water (horchta) and lemonade. The fresas con crema are amazing.
