Booked an appointment online to find out it was closed when I got there. Terrible customer service!

I had an appointment, got there earlier, the guy told me it had to be on time. I understand!However, at the time of the appointment he checked my car in. One hour later after he had checked my car in, My car was still in the front of the store waiting to be serviced! When I asked about it, the guy told me that they were behind!!! One hour??? I took my keys and left, had my car serviced in another place. What a waist of time!!!

Amazing customer care! I could not be more pleased with the level of care given to me and my vehicle! I came in for a standard oil change, and while picking up my vehicle tornado sirens began to wail! The store team pulled my vehicle inside to protect it from the hail and made sure that I was safely inside the store. Over the hour I was there the staff remained calm, very professional, and super friendly! From this point on, I will not bring my car anywhere else in Waco! If they can handle THAT situation, there isnt anything they cant handle!

I do not recommend going there at all. A tire store that cant remove stuck lug nuts, ASE certified technicians I dont think so. A real technician will have the tools and knowledge to do that job, and not take two days to replace all 4 tires. An worse thing is they gave up on the 4th tire. Had to drive 45 miles with a bad steer tire on one side back home, then change it myself the new one from the set I bought. Ill just start replacing them myself in way less time and with the proper torque, not to cease them to the stud or wheel.

Will not be going back. The Manager is very rude. Not only to customers but also his staff. He needs to go then you would get more business. I didnt get my car fixed there. After i heard the way he talked to a customer before me and yelled at his staff i turned around and went somewhere else.

I went to Just Brakes in September of 2012 and I have to say the service was great! The men who helped me were extremely kind and helpful, they made me feel like I was being taken care of and not taken advantage of. While my car was being serviced, the manager and the guy working the front desk actually sat and talked with me, not just about my car but just having genial conversation. This was such a change seeing as how I have never experienced this type of customer service getting my car service anywhere else. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone/everyone because the men are extremely kind and sincere, and do great work.

Went in for diagnosis cause I was having a severe loss of power but not throwing a code. After paying $100 they told me to run seafoam thru it and try changing a sensor but they didnt know which sensor to change..felt like I thru $100 into a pit. No help.

I recently went in to get my car looked at as it was having trouble turning on. When I went in the manager, Sam, was very friendly and professional. He pulled my car in and said it was most likely the battery and after testing it it confirmed what he believed. He was able to get me a battery quickly and had it changed out in no time, he also looked over the rest of my car and gave me recommendations for what was needed on my vehicle. I also got a well priced oil change and was soon on my way out of there. Overall was a good experience and I felt happy with the outcome. I would definitely recommend coming here if your having car issues, especially now since the store has changed managers recently.

Worst experience! Just Brakes is affordable, but the work they do is not worth half of what you pay. I took my car in September of 2015 for their $99 brake service special and I got both my front and rear brakes serviced through them. Prior to taking my car into Just Brakes in Waco, Texas, I had no issues with my brakes other than the average wear and tear every car eventually experiences. In just a few weeks following my service I noticed my brakes were beginning to seem as if they were trying to lock up every other time I drove my car. I gave it a few days to see if the problem persist and then I returned to Just Brakes and informed them of my issue. I was told after dropping my car off I would receive a call when it was time to pick my car up so I left and returned four hours later after no phone call and only to hear they found absolutely nothing. So I continued to drive my car assuming there was no issues with the brakes, only to end up stranded on a main street in the center of the road after my brakes completely locked on the car yesterday. After not even being able to place the car in neutral and push it out of the way from flowing traffic, I called Just Brakes. I informed them of my situation and asked if I paid ended up having to pay $200 to tow my car and we later find out it was an issue due to their previous service job would I be reimbursed? Mr. Lee who claims he is the manager then responded with that is the companys decision. I then asked if he could connect me with someone who would be able to answer my question and he placed me on hold and disconnected the call. I called back and he admitted to purposely disconnecting the call and then began to laugh as I asked for the corporate info for Just Brakes. Mr. Lee then responded in saying he wasnt going to give it to me and then proceeded to once again disconnect the call. My issue with Just Brakes is their customer service skills more than anything else. It is ILLEGAL for a business like Just Brakes to refuse to give their corporate info; Not only would I never recommend Just Brakes, I would advise anyone in need of a brake service to GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Horrible service. I went to get an oil change and they doubled the cost with meaningless add-on services I did not request. These car mechanics will rip you off if you dont pay attention, and I will never recommend this companys services to anyone.

Extremely fast and excellent service.. No wait time on busy holiday.. The guys were very professional and had us in and out in 10 minutes for fixing a flat. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great customer service!!! My fiancé and I came in right before closing, desperately needing a battery put in his car, as it was a complicated installation. They took us right in and stayed past closing time to finish the job! Thank you, guys!!

They couldnt align my front end, said it was too worn out, so I asked them to put my spare on the front driver side. They threw the old tire in the back without putting it on the holder. They also messed up my driver window.

Had to have my breaks bleeded they were pros and had me out in a few minutes.

Mixed feelings about my visit here. On one hand, this location has great customer service. Huge shout out to Roosevelt at the front desk who made my experience there 100x’s better with his attentiveness, positive attitude, and very clear knowledge about his field.But on the other I was definitely overcharged and did not have time to argue it bc I had not anticipated waiting over an hour for an oil change when I had made an appointment and arrived early. They also wouldn’t rotate my tires when I requested it because the tread was “getting low” but the tires are less than a year old? My car has a 6 liter capacity for oil, but I was charged for 7 and I was charged $20 over what was quoted. I also came in w a coupon for $15 but was only discounted $10.I know it’s just small charges, but as a 23 year old female I hate being taken advantage of in auto service shops bc of my demographic. While the price here is still less than what I’ve paid in several other shops, there are ones with comparable rates here in Waco that get my car in and out in 10 minutes plus a free car wash! Wanted to like this place because of the customer service but will not be returning due to the time it took and upcharge.

People were super friendly but, sadly I took my 98 tahoe to them to get the brakes worked on before a 15 hr trip. $100+ dollars later and the brakes still feel the same and I will have to get it looked at agian. I was told the brakes are good to go so I left and went to go get the wheels balanced. On the way over there, I had noticed that my brakes felt the same as they did before. When the Wheel balancing guys took the front left wheel off, they called me over and asked me if I have recently had work done to the brakes. I said yes. And they proceeded to show me that the master cylinder reservoir was leaking down onto my control arms and on and down on to my wheels then getting flung up into my wheel wells. I called them after seeing this and the worker said that he did not mess with the master cylinder resivor, and that he just topped it off. I told them I was coming back to see them. When I got over there the guy procedeed to tell me that all of the leaking was windshield washer fluid that he threw all over the inside to clean the brake fluid off. After he proceeded to top off the resivor I noticed how he was putting the lid back on and 99% sure that that is how the resivor was broken. Instead of pushing the clips on individually, he grabs the whole lid and pushes it and wiggles it u till its forced on, so now Im stuck with a leaking resivor and brakes that I still have to get worked on.

This place is now pep boys/just brakes and let me tell you DONT EVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. For the cheapest brake pads that cost 19$ at pep boys they want to charge you 400$ for 40$ worth of pads and 1.5 hrs labor. Not to mention my gf was with me and the place was in beginning of renovation for changing names, there was about 28 service guys there hanging one cardboard sign with a foreman as well. My gf went to the restroom and these slime balls start pounding on the door and try to open it while shes in there. And to make matters worse she answered and told them she was in there, well the boss man a 80 yr old man kneels down on a knee and starts doing what looked like trying to jimmy the door open or look through keyhole. And she came out and they didnt wait for her to get through the door jam and all 56 of the service guys and the elderly boss of theirs pushes her out of the way to get in there. When i was told 400$ for brake pads i told them nevermind that i found someome to do it cheaper. I did it. Havent ever changed brake pads but it only took me a hour and a half. They tried to tell me they price match when i told them nevermind but unfortunately they are scum and should have been reasonable in the first place. They also put my truck back together wrong so when i was on way home the brakes rubbed metal on metal. I beleiev they did this on purpose also. STAY AWAY. FAR AWAY

If i could give 0 stars I would. I went to Just Brakes on Valley Mills Dr this morning, because my brakes started grinding, and a few days ago I heard on the radio it was FREE brake month the fine print is that you pay labor and disposal fees. So I decided to stop and ask about it, its $122 for FREE brakes, I told the guy (one of only two people working, which is never seen in an auto repair shop of any kind) that I would come back later in the day. I talked to my husband who said if they are grinding just get them done okay sure, so I go back within an hour or so, and tell them to go ahead. Well they take all the tires off, and the brakes and begin to show me all the problems with my vehicle, including the battery is going bad and the center brake light is out. This comes to just under $1400, I told to the guy to put the brakes and tires back on I was leaving, he proceeded to tell me about their financing...SERIOUSLY?!?! I told him no I wasnt paying him $1500 for even $500, to put my car back together I was leaving and going else ware. About this time I started to get rude with him, he then told me they could do just the pads for $122 that was for the FREE brakes. I told him I was leaving and to put my car back together, Im sure it wasnt friendly or even nice at this point. A few minutes later the other guy working came to convince me that it was for my safety that I get at least pads because it was that bad, I told him no thank you, and continued to look at the magazine in my hand. He finally gave up, and went to put my car back together. The list of items that is on the quote I brought home-its not line by line like the one he originally handed me-includes Flush and Fill Brake Fluid not once but twice, it also says brake fluid twice, which to me flushing and filling brake fluid would include the cost of the brake fluid. Replacing all 4 calipers, machining all 4 rotors, a new battery, battery installation (which isnt rocket science, red to red, black to black, and takes all of 2 minutes if you take your time) headlight bulb replacement, and cyclops bulb replacement (the center brake light on the back) My headlights arent even burnt out, just check them, both shining bright. On my way home I stopped by another Brake and Tire shop...there were 2-3 people waiting in the lobby, 2 guys working behind the desk, and god knows how many guys working in the back, and must have been 20 or more invoices sitting on the counter waiting to be done-a place that obviously gets a lot of business, that i usually go to, but didnt because of the FREE Brakes scam. I told them the rear brakes were grinding and asked for a quote, $244, which is for only the back, but it is NEW rotors not machined. This is almost 1/6th of the price of Just Brakes, for about half the work, minus 4 calipers which are $40 each at OReilys.

The service is terrible, they disassembled the brakes on my car while I was trying to talk to one of them about what I wanted done. Then all the charges began to pile up. All I needed was front brake pads, but they claimed that the brake caliper needed to be replaced as well. Paid $99 for what would be $14 brake pads if I had done the job myself. Never will do business with Just Brakes again.

We had a lot of work done and it was going take several hours to do, they have my family and I a ride to the movies and picked us up after.
