Volkswagen of Waco Service Department does an excellent job of taking care of their customers. I came in for a recall item and had my oil changed and they were on it within 10 minutes of my arrival. Their team members were all courteous and very knowledgeable of my vehicles needs. Hands down the best around!

Our experience was great! Caleb did a fine job as our salesman. Most dealerships I have dealt with I leave there feeling like I did not receive a fair deal or not enough for my trade. I like going to this dealership as it is convenient from Corsicana. I have had an issue each time with oil changes but they make it right each time. The service manager and another employee took care of being low 1 quart. She lives near by and said she would bring me a quart to be sure it was all good. They are courteous and overall do a good job. The brake job was reasonably priced but a simple car wash would have been nice too. 8n the past this was provided for free but it still was a good experience.

Came in just to look and ended up leaving with a car I was in love with. From the time I arrived until the time I left (all 60 mins) the process was quick and smooth and I didn’t feel obligated to purchase anything. They listened to what I wanted and showed me different options that fit my needs and wants in a car. James and Jose made it so easy. Would definitely recommend!

Thjs was the first scheduled service since I purchased the car! Really didn’t know what to expect with the no appointment express service! They had my car up on the rack for what seemed like a long long time with technicians checking everything! I was thinking on boy what’s wrong needless to say I was pleasantly surprised when they were finally finished reported everything is good. Next service 10000 mile or 9 months at that time rotate the tires and recheck the cabin filter! The best surprise all done no charge! The service rep who worked with me was friendly and answered all my questions, the text messages during the process was a nice touch just letting me know I was not forgotten like they valued my time also! Definitely will continue to have my car serviced there!

Took a little longer for an oil change than Im used to, but I had to go at lunch on a Monday. Nice waiting area away from the sales floor. Complimentary coffee, water, and snacks. Pretty easy check in process. Pretty sure the Service Advisor position is understaffed. This is my first VW product, and I love the vehicle. I plan on visiting the service department again when I need scheduled maintenance.

Was called as soon as repairs were completed took care of everything by phone with approval of repairs, payment and update with parts. Dropped off my car for an oil change and a tire rotation at 7am. Finally called after noon for them to tell me my car was ready. Go and pick it up and they can’t find my key because they gave me the wrong paperwork. Once that was straightened out I get my car and the complimentary wash and detail that was supposed to be a part of the visit was not done either. So what took 5 hours???

Recently I was traveling for business and noticed my vehicle was due for an oil change and to my surprise the VW dealership of Waco was able to fit me in to their busy schedule without an appointment. I really enjoyed their beautiful facility and amazing barista machine that serves Starbucks Coffee and other fancy lattes free of charge. All around great experience.

I’m usually impressed with Volkswagen of Waco but yesterday they were off by a long shot. Made an appointment and had also requested for a shuttle. Showed up to my appointment and was told I hade to wait for mike since he was the guy who scheduled me. The other guy was not doing anything so I waited after about 10 minutes he finally said I guess I can help you. So got my vehicle checked In and waited for the shuttle and waited, waited, waited, for about an hour so then I decided to ask. I ask them if my vehicle was almost ready they said no it has not been looked at because they taught i was leaving it there even though I was waiting in their lobby for over an hour. By now they told me it would be another hour for my vehicle. I was upset and asked if I can get a ride to get something to eat. He did get me a ride so then I asked him why my vehicle is still not being looked at he said something about having to wait for the technician to be assigned. I finally did get my vehicle. So I have always had a very god experience so this is the first time I have had such a horrible experience. Hopefully it won’t happen again.

Do not purchase a vehicle from this establishment unless you want to be lied too and then treated awfully by management when you try and resolve the issue. The level of rudeness and unprofessionalism displayed by the manager is only rivaled by the lack of care for any shred of customer service. Raising voices and profanity is apparently what is acceptable to someone they blatantly did wrong to and then refuse to man up and take responsibility. Very disappointed..

Pretty disappointed in my experience. Was told to wait on the car i desperately wanted bc there wasn’t a price yet so i couldn’t pay anything on the car, &’ then told me they’d put a hold on the vehicle so that they’d have a price set &’ they’d call me monday so we could figure out how much i’d need. Come monday i struggled to get ahold of them, just to find out they already sold it when i already was set on putting majority of the money down.

I was not impressed with their unwillingness to be accommodating to what we were actually looking for. Everyone was extremely nice and polite - please dont misunderstand me about that - but they were not forthcoming with any information unless specifically asked. I was there to help a friend who had no experience with anything like this in her young life, so she didnt even know that they were withholding information from her. She only knew what they told her (which, apparently, did not include the actual purchase price for the car - only the monthly payment). She also walked in stating that she wanted a car that would give her a monthly payment of around $350 with $0 down. That amount is not at all unreasonable for a used vehicle (or even some new vehicles!), so I find it very hard to believe that out of an inventory that includes 200+ cars (they made very certain we knew they had a large inventory of used vehicles - possibly the largest in Waco according to them), they only had one (one!?!) car they showed her. And that one car was $200 over her requested monthly payment. Nearly 60% higher than what she asked of them. They also frequently discussed a 6 year/72,000 mile warranty, but when asked to see the warranty, we were given a booklet that told what the warranty did NOT cover and said the warranty was only 1 year/12,000 miles for the year model car they were showing to her. When asked why the booklet said something different about how long the warranty lasts, we were told that the booklet was actually talking about a different warranty - not the one we had been discussing. We were then shown a quick internet lookup stating they had a 6 year/72,000 mile warranty, but all of the paperwork continued to state the car was an as-is sale. At no time did we ever actually see anything showing a warranty that came with that particular car. The entire process seemed to me that they saw a brand new, naïve 18 year old that they could exploit, so they pushed her hard to purchase a car that they knew with her income she could not afford. Im quite disappointed by what seemed like a lack of integrity and common decency. 😕

If you go here, do not let them put you in front of Jose with finance. My fiance went in with our three daughters to trade in and when she made it to this Jose, he handed her a pen and expected her to sign. I was on speakerphone and the guy got offended when I told him we take time to talk these things over before making a decision. Come to find out, after looking at the numbers, he had taken the liberty of tacking on an extended 6 year bumper-to bumper warranty and lied about the cost of gap insurance. The only reason we did end up doing a deal with this dealership is because we went back together and talked to John, the manager. Even though we didnt get all I thought we should for the trade-in, he pointed out Joses shady dealing and gave us the option to take or leave these extra bells and whistles. I knew the numbers didnt add up Jose you scoundrel you!

I went to Volkswagen of Waco to purchase a vehicle and my experience was very disappointing. I was greeted by a salesman named Ty who was smoking a cigarette when he greeted me! That was so unprofessional! Then he treated me as if I couldn’t purchase a vehicle, i don’t know if it was because i was black or what. I left vw and went to Hyundai and purchased 2 new vehicles one for myself and one for my wife. I will make sure to post on social media that black business isn’t appreciated at vw of Waco! This salesman Ty shouldn’t be employed anywhere!

Needed a few things done to my vehicle, windshield replaced, oil change, inspection, and rear middle seat seatbelt replaced. I had paid for the seatbelt at my previous oil change and was never called about the part being in, but the tech said they had it and could take care of it. It would take about a day per the tech and he asked I bring it back on a Monday. So I did. Now, I get parts can be back ordered, but this guy said the parts would be in Monday so I trusted that. Once I got back to work the tech called and said they wouldnt be able to get the windshield until Thursday. They gave me a courtesy car so I could get around. I asked if they could do the other services while waiting for the windshield. He said they could. Thursday comes and its getting late so I call and check. Im told itll now be done Friday. I tell them ok, just call and let me know if something comes up. No call comes Friday. Saturday bright and early I call to check and request to please be notified about my vehicle. The tech who answered couldnt find my vehicles service ticket to give me updates but says he will call after he can find out. Nothing. No call. They are closed Sunday and I get slammed at work Monday. Tuesday, day 8, I get a call with a good news, your windshield is repaired! I say thats great! Is the oil change/seatbelt/inspection done as well? Crickets...then the same line of let me check that and get back to you. 5 pm I get the last call of its ALL done. I get there, pay the overpriced fees, then am asked to wait over 30 minutes for them to pull the car around. Im just biting my tongue at this point, and knowing Ill never use them again, just smile and try to drive away, except they left tools in my seat. I return them and go take my car to the car wash. As I am vacuuming it I notice they removed my mats and took off panel/seat rail covers and didnt put them back on as well as get my back seats greasy. I will never use them again.

She stayed way after closing and helped me some more the following day. I had already been to many dealerships by this point and she was by far the best experience I have had. My car had a recall so I take it up there and get my car back the cruise control doesnt work and my speed isnt displayed on my dashboard it says warning at dash dash mph. So I was told to bring it in Monday at 2pm. With that being said I assumed an appt was made. I get up there Monday and it takes 30 minutes for them to check me in. The guy was new I was trying to be understand while having trouble checking me in he helps 2 other people and gets asked if hes busy afterwards and he says no, mind you im still not checked in. Told him to look under lauren and David. He asked me what I was getting done 3 times. I get my alignment done and bring up the cruise control and speed display problem while Im explaining I am cut off by the guy up front him saying thats settings and a easy fix. Mind you this is the 3rd time I been up there in 2 weeks. I get my car back after waiting for 3 hours and Still have the same issues. I called to make another appt this next morning and after that Im done with this place they have no idea what good service is ridiculous.

Brian Diaz is a great kid, fresh on the lot and so helpful. I would be a repeat customer simply because of him. Its unfortunate he was assisted by a textbook car salesman shark type. Ty was very pushy, impatient, in a hurry to get the deal done and extremely rude to his co-workers. He took over the sale very aggressively and treated and spoke to Brian like a grunt.We purchased a beautiful vehicle but I hated that a portion of the sale went to Ty. I would highly recommend the dealership, they have a surprisingly great selection when most others do not. The finance staff and other employees were very helpful and kind. Just steer clear of Ty unless your ok with being chum in the water. #bewareofsharks

Although it took more than the couple of hours I thought it would, VW of Waco service staff was professional, friendly & helpful. They shuttled us to and from 2 different locations while we waited. Michael Giacometti did the legwork needed to determine that the repair was indeed covered by warranty. VW of Waco is our second VW dealership. Both service departments have been exemplary. Totally let down. Went in to buy a car, and was rudely rushed out. We were there an hour before close but they had already decided to leave early for the day, Im guessing due to the upcoming holiday. Either way Ive worked in customer service my whole life and have seen people fired and have fired people for rudely rushing customers out at closing. They couldnt find the keys to the vehicle we were interested in because maintenance guy had them and they didnt know where he was. When we pointed him out, no keys were acquired. We and the salesman attempting to assist us were constantly reminded of the time and they started pulling off in cars, locking gates and locking up the building. I dont know in what world this was acceptable, but someone should tell them theyre daydreaming if that was what theyd call customer service. 👎👎👎

We were on a long distance trip and halfway through our Audi decided to be a troublemaker. It was a “your car won’t start again after you turn it off unless you get it in” kind of situation. We were towing a boat and had the car filled with kids. We showed up at 8am on a Saturday and Mike in the service department worked us in. Moves are stress enough, but moves from different countries off the charts!Purchasing two cars....done in a couple days 4800 miles away was smooth, easy and simple! Why? I can tell you, so was the process of picking up our two cars from the Dallas airport to WACO then to San Antonio. We meet our sales rep Ted. ROCK STAR!No stress, no pressure. In and out……. Both cars ready to go and fill up with gas. One of the cars had a warranty the other did not. We all talked about adding a warranty, but my wife and I decided not to add it on at this time. ZERO pressure to add it on. They respected our decision and drove off to San Antonio.I have called/emailed Ted a few times on a couple of questions and within that day he had the answers for us. Just yesterday he called on to just see how everything was going, being it is a month from purchasing the two cars.LOVING THE BUG AND TIGUAN. One of the best experiences with a VW Service Team! Had a very pressing issue for my R32 track car as I was heading down from FTW to ATX and decided to call Waco(while on the road!) to see if they could fit me in. I knew it was a long shot, but I needed a steering wheel angle calibration after swapping out the wheel for an aftermarket. Was nervous given how modified the car is and me only having ~1.5hrs to work with before I needed to be back on the road to make grid. Luckily for me, Gwendolyn answered the call and was amazing to work with! She coordinated everything and gave me confidence they could get working on it right away. They listened to what I needed, didnt try to oversell or push back given the highly modified nature and took care of me like a first class customer. If I didnt live so far away this would definitely be my go-to dealership from now on! Thanks so much to everyone that helped while I was there, was in and out in 45min(including unloading the car from the trailer!) and was able to make it to grid with plenty of time at H2R. Had an amazing day with no TC light and full AWD goodness.

Rating changed from 2 stars, resolved within an hour by management.I purchased a used vehicle last may, along with extended warranty and gap insurance. I never received the paperwork for either of the additions. My wife had a check engine light come on last month and since then weve been attempting to speak with finance in order to use the warranty and get the car checked out. I have spoken to finance twice, never received a call back. I have left detailed messages in regards to what Im looking for and why.At this point the check engine light is no longer a problem, however I still am without any paperwork on the gap insurance and warranty coverage.The only excuse given was that The previous finance people no longer work hereI dont see how thats any justification, and if that means records were not kept that is a different problem.

Volkswagen of Waco will never service my vehicle again, or even change my oil. I will do my best to inform and caution others to not buy from or even visit this dealership. It was only during my experience, that I began to research, check reviews and realized that many others have had similar service and purchase experiences. This is a dishonest dealership akin to those in the 80s that I did not think still existed. The extremely high rate of employee turnover speaks volumes as to the accuracy of my statements and lends support to how poorly this dealership is managed. My vehicle was in service over a month and one of the main issues was not resolved. They offered me to pay out of pocket for the item to speed up the process on a brand new car. I was quoted $500 extra for fees that were not owed, and overall paid $2,800 that should not have been. We came in not really knowing what to expect. Mike was there and he helped us through the entire process. He was extremely patient with us and worked with us to get the best deal we didn’t even think was possible. If you are shopping for cars, new or used, I highly recommend coming to VW of Waco and asking for Mike. Everyone was amazing, and the whole process from start to finish was great. Will buy from these guys again for sure!

I typically do not write reviews; however, the few times I have, I have written good reviews. Not the case with this one. My experience with Volkswagen of Waco was very disappointing to say the very least. I went into the dealership several months back in search for another Tiguan as Ive had one before and theyre a great vehicle for the price. Full disclosure my credit is not the best and I had a trade in which I explained to the salesperson prior to scheduling an appointment, so as not to waste his time and mine. As expected, VW of Waco was unable to find a lender for me. Fast forward to last Friday, 04/30/21. I was contacted via an email from VW of Waco from their Business Development Manager, Ashton Newman, stating that she had taken a second look at my inquiry on the Tiguan and would like to help me. Ms. Newman stated they had recently partnered with a lender who specializes in challenged credit and have a 100% approval rating and invited me to come back into the dealership to purchase a vehicle. Again, I was transparent in my reply email to Ms. Ashton that nothing had changed on my end with my criteria. Nevertheless, an appointment was scheduled for me to come back into the dealership. I kept my appointment and went in hoping to meet with a salesperson who could get me into a vehicle. I walked in and was greeted by a young man who asked my name and when given, he said that I had not been matched with anyone. It was at that point I realized Ms. Newman was an appointment setter for sales and I was not meeting with her and she could not do anything to get me into a vehicle. Naïve on my part for thinking her title meant something. The salesperson said he could meet with me. He never introduced himself but had me follow him to an office. I explained why I was there and my previous experience with the dealership. I finally had to ask him his name which I felt was a bit unprofessional. Once he realized my credit and other criteria, he was not motivated at all to do anything. His demeanor was very nonchalant. He left the office with my information and came back after some time only to tell me they had a lender for me, but there would be a large down payment and the vehicle would be pre-owned. Part of the criteria Id discussed with him was that I had no down payment and was looking for a new vehicle. He never told me he was submitting for a pre-owned vehicle. Obviously, this was not going to work for me, so I thanked him for his time and left. I thought about everything that had taken place with Ms. Newman and the salesperson, Matt, and decided to call and speak with someone in management just so my experience did not happen to someone else. I want to be clear that I was not upset or angry - more disappointed that I wasted my time going back into the dealership after I had been completely transparent. I called the dealership asking to speak with the GM; however, he was not available, so I was directed to the Sales Manager, John. I explained to John everything that had taken place and said I was not calling to complain or get anyone in trouble, but only to let him know that as a customer I felt my experience with the dealership probably could have been handled a bit more professional. John seemed a bit rushed but stated that he would call me back within 30 minutes. Its five days later, and I have still not received that 30-minute call back from John. I am writing this review because I feel there should be some accountability by management of VW of Waco to ensure their customers dont have the same experience that I had. After everything we have all been through this past year, I would think a simple act of human kindness toward another person would be the goal of the dealership.

Everyone I dealt with here, particularly the salesman Mike, was very helpful and kept in touch at every step of the purchase, which I made remotely (b/c Covid). The dealership made the process of financing through my own bank really easy. They even helped me arrange transport. Overall a great experience.

I am a very loyal VW customer. I just recently purchased my 4th VW from VW of Waco. I normally buy from Temple with Garlyn Shelton VW, but decided to take my business to Waco since it was closer. Huge mistake! I bought a brand new Atlas and in less than 2 months service engine light came on and I took it in for an assessment. They needed to order a part and it took a week. I am a fulltime working, single mother and they had no loaner cars to give, so I was bumming rides for a week. They kept giving me the run around on when the part was in and had no answers. They never called to update me on the status of my vehicle, I had to myself. After a week, I got my vehicle back finally. During this process, I received several letters from VW Credit saying that I owed money off of my trade in for an early termination. This is my 4th VW and my 3rd lease, I have always traded them in and had never been held accountable for any residual amount at Garlyn Shelton. So, I contacted the finance department manager (Wont say any names to be petty) about my situation February 10th, he said he would take care of it, so I took his word for it. Followed up with VW to see what the status was and could never get an answer. On April 5th, 2 months later, I received a notice from VW credit again threatening to send me to collections when this bill was to be taken care of by accounting and the finance department. Along with very poor customer service from maintenance and lack of honestly and communication from the finance department I would not recommend buying/leasing from VW of Waco. I will take my business back to Garlyn Shelton where I was treated with respect. VW of Waco Finance Department manager was always very hostile, rude, and lacked professionalism. He failed to take care of an accounting error like he stated he would and now it has resulted in negatively influencing my credit score. If I could give half a star, I would.

My recent encounter VW was not a good one. I told them everything that was happening and going on with my car and they still didnt fix it. One of the main reasons for bringing car in they over looked. 1900 dollars later and car still messed up after 3 visits. Things going on with my car now wasnt ever happening until after they worked on it. Also after the third visit they finally acknowledged the first issue for bringing it in and then wanted to charge me for it. As confident as I was to take my care to them I can say I wont ever be again. I was charged for an oil change that didnt get done and multiple things under the hood were still loose and unscrewed. Definitely a disappointment.

My experience was seamless. My sales guy Mike Erwin was awesome and very thorough and went to back to get the deal that best suited my needs. My finance guy Mr. Houstom was also a pleasure. The whole experience was the best I have had yet. I felt that I wasnt just another sale. I drove all the way from Austin and it was worth it!!!! I would definitely recommend.

My wife and I came by late Friday night right before VW closed because I wanted her to look at the 2021 Atlas because we were in need of a 3rd row with the 2nd row captains chairs and Ted came out to show us everything on the vehicle and was perfectly informative, relaxed and highly educated on the vehicle we were inquiring about. He let us go for a quick test drive and we came back the following day and wrapped up the paperwork on the 2021 Atlas SEL V6 4motion. Ted was great at every step of the process and guided my wife and I into exactly what we were looking for and the price point within our budget. I highly recommend the Atlas V6 SE trim level and up, VW Of Waco, and even more Ted!
