AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!!! I’ve come to this place a handful of time and it seems like every time it gets better and better!! ABSOLUTELY great tasting food!! Honestly the staff is AWESOME!! Everyone is super friendly, very attentive, respectful and knowledgeable!! This is definitely a place to stop by at least once a week if you are in the area, or if you craving some really good BBQ! I definitely recommend it and I cannot wait to come back and enjoy some more!

Delicious! Came to BL Quality Meats today after work and got a pulled pork sandwich and potato salad. Hit the spot. Cant forget the ice cold Pepsi!Love this place. Cant wait till I go again next time.

Better than I thought! The ribs I had purchased was well seasoned, my wife got a wow from her fish and chips. Which adds up too we will be back!

Got the rib combo with mash potatoes and mac and cheese. The ribs were tender and well seasoned. The the mashed potatoes were really good, loaded style, but just a little too salty. The mac and cheese was honestly terrible. The cheese sauce was watery and tasted more like Alfredo sauce from how garlicky it was. The noodles were undercooked too, not crunchy, but rather firm. Other than that, my brother ordered a tri tip sandwich with fries which were both also good. He did however find a big leg in his drink, which was honestly pretty gross. It might have been a fluke, or it may have fallen in from elsewhere as we did go home before eating, but I thought it should be noted. I would recommend most of the food here though, provided this was a one time thing

The name says it all. The meat selection at the butcher case is always top notch. The prepared food is very tasty as well. If you havent been there or ate the food I definitely recommend it.

Ordered two breakfast burrito’s and 1 was wrong. This is the 3rd time at that take-out that they’ve messed up my order. Inside is great. Will not be ordering food at the take out any longer

This place is the absolute BEST for quality and availability. Their stuffed pork chops are wonderful (and better than their counterpart in Fresno who remains unnamed). Had the most wonderful bacon wrapped filets too - but get additional bacon for it. Their 2 rib eye steaks are fabulous. You wont be disappointed!

Long lines took forever inside today I also ate outside at the restraunt someone there had issues with there order and when I got home they were missing items in my order. The fish was over cooked, the chicken strips were over cooked and there wasnt anything on the chicken sandwich. 58.00 way too much for this service and quality.

We purchased the Ranch Hand dinner from the catering menu to serve our family for Easter, since Id recently been discharged from the hospital. The website listed the price as $14.99 per person if we picked it up. We picked it up and were charged $16.99 per person. We spoke to the Manager and were told that the price had changed a year ago and it was final. We explained that it was advertised as $14.99 per person. She told us that the business was aware that the pricing was incorrect on the website, but that there would be no refund for the overage.I do not understand how a business can advertise the incorrect price for a year, while charging their customers more. Unapologetically on top of it. We had never had a bad experience with them before, but I am disgusted by the dishonest advertising with no attempt to resolve it.I left my name and number for the supervisor to call and have not received a call. Its not even about the money - its the principle of doing honest business with your patrons. Its a shame. When so many businesses are struggling to stay open, they have an excellent product and dishonest service.

Tri tip sanwich: meat in a piece of foil, a plain bun that is not toasted and a little pre packaged cub of baby rays bbq sauce. I dont think you can make a lazier sandwich.

The young butcher/meat dispatcher who helped me was very professional, and gave me a few tips as well on how to grill certain types of wings for a better flavor. Cashier was courteous and quick. Will be returning.

BBQ (in Visalia) doesnt get much better than this. Excellent tri tip, shredded beef, chicken, and sausages. The loaded mash is my preferred side.

I went for the BBQ. I didnt go into the store itself this time. It was strangely busy. It is worth the short wait. I ordered just the tri-tip sandwich. For my wife and I there is enough to split one.

If you want amazing cuts of meat and well educated people to ask for a recommendation for meats this is the place. I have never been disappointed except for a time I kinda burned my stake but it was still amazing. Its the only place I really go to buy any kind of meat. Also they are really friendly.

Meat Market part is top knotch, the prepared foods has really suffered in quality. Chicken was borderline jerky and only a few ounces of chicken on a half chicken. Mac and cheese seems to be different from the past and not in a good way.

We went in to place an order for prime rib and was so happy with the selection and cleanliness of the store. The people were friendly and knowledgeable. We will go back for our monthly shopping from now on.🙂

If you like great smoked quality meat, then this is the place for you! Always friendly and great tasting food, the loaded mashed potatoes are to die for. My personal favorite is the half chicken combo. Cheap and flavorful.

Quality of meat is good and fresh but slightly overpriced and staff make no effort to help you other than at the meat counter.

The guy behind the counter lied to me and told me 7lbs. Was the smallest Prime Rib he could do. As I was cashing out he then pulled out one at 4.8lbs Hes a liar

I usually shop in the store and have always been pleased with their meats. Today my husband and I ordered two chorizo burritos from their kitchen and it took exactly half an hour to get them. This is after I asked. Guy said they were short staffed, but I could plainly see three guys working besides him. Only three others were ahead of us and they had burritos too. After all this, the burrito was meh. Wont be back.

Excellent products, meat, fish,chicken. The marinated chicken is fabulous to bar b que. I cant get enough of the Thai chicken. And the marinated shrimp over rice.

No much to say about this place, except that it is everything you would want in a meat market, and MUCH more. Selection, prices and preparation are all top notch. In many cases, their prepared (marinated/spiced) meats are about the same price as I would normally pay at a super market. The staff is friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. I am a fan!!!!

My favorite place, but went this morning and meat seemed really skimped

They have a pretty good tritip sandwich with enough meat for 2 just order a extra bun. I got chicken from the deli that was so bad the second i open the package knock me back aways . and i think the kid who git it for me knew . i took it right back and i got.fresh. from the back. Best lunch Ive had in a long time

Usually this place never disappoints me, always my go to. Today i got my usual order if steak fries. I waited about 25 minutes and many others who ordered after me in bigger quantities got their food before me. Once I recieved my order I saw the steak was burnt, chewy and extremely overdone. I went back for a replacement and waited Roughly another 10-15 minutes. Steak looked better. When I got home and we started to eat we noticed a giant chunk of raw ground beef in the middle along with burnt pieces of steak. It completely put off both our appetites and went directly into the trash. Many other people waited a long time for their food and I saw multiple mistakes made. People were waiting to order their food and the employees kept the curtain down having them wait 6-8 minutes just to place an order. I Waited roughly 45 minutes for a big disappointment. Doubt Ill be returning.

I had them cater my husbands birthday party and from start to finish, everything was perfect! They delivered, Tri-Tip, Ribs, Chicken, Green Beans, Rice, Salad, Dinner Rolls and Ranch Dressing. Everything was delicious!

My grandfather went Saturday before father days waited in line for long time to be turned down and told they would not cut him meat when heWas going to spend a thousand dollars what fools to turn down the money. And pushed away because other ppl wanted a few cuts and he wanted more for 1000 dollars worth. The manager turned him away. Bad customer service...

This is with out a doubt the best place to eat in Visalia. When you show up and see their smoker, youll get that they mean business. Inside is clean with quality products. The take out menu is amazing 👌. Service is prompt, consistent and accurate Everytime. No other eating establishment hits home runs across the board like this. Not in Visalia. Thats why I think I think they are the best in town. A++

The meat quality is in the name here at this establishment. I know that everytime I come to B&L im going to get amazing meat and cut sizes. The guys behind the counter are friendly, helpful, and in tune with what they provide you. They also have a great wine selection, and of a particular local vinter in Paso Robles called Justin. I come here for the delicious steaks, but also for the service they give.

I was just in your market, and walked through the entire store, every isle, and not 1 person asked if they could help me find what I was looking for. There were only 2 other people in the whole place. To me, that is NOT good customer service! I was going to pick up lunch as well, but just left. I wont be back, not with service like that! Sorry!

Really really good meat, but showed up one minute past close and even though people were still checking out and staff was still behind the meat counter, they were not willing to provide service. I understand store hours but I think great customer service would have been to ask if it was a quick order

Finally back to making the Loaded Mashed Potatoes the right way. They were awful for a while there. Spicy and greasy and gross. Please keep making them this way. I stopped buying for a few months there.They have a great selection of meats and marinades. Amazing.

Their meats may be “quality” but their service sure is not. We ordered a dinner #1 and #3 plus an additional pound of pulled pork and tritip to go. When we arrived to our home, we realized we were missing the additional pound of pulled pork. We called and asked if they could compensate us for the inconvenience (an additional 45 minutes to pick up the food and a cold family dinner) since we were going to have to drive to the other side of town to pick up what should have been given to us when we originally placed our order but they said they had nothing to give us except the pound of pulled pork that we originally paid for. Really?! They couldn’t even offer a free drink or an order of fries for the inconvenience? That is not quality customer service. We will not be giving this establishment our business ever again.

Best place in town (or out of town) to get a top notch hunk-a meat to cook, grill, smoke, fry or what ever youre going to do with it. LOTS of sides and seasonings to go with it. I do, how ever wish they would start carrying bags of lump coal for my Big Green Egg. This place comes HIGHLY recommended!
