The NEX is worth the drive. JBLE exchanges are small and do not compare. Little Creek tends to have a lot of great sales going on. Their clearance are good deals too. They have a larger variety, especially on surf attire; well, in anything really.

A great shopping spot for military service members and their families. They have some of pretty much everything and they often have good sales during the holiday season, so it is worth a visit. I would not buy food here though as the Commissary nextdoor does have better deals on food. But, everything else is a pretty good deal

This was our first time visiting a Navy Post. I must admit, I am highly impressed with the NEX exchange. They offer so many great items from a variety of vendors. I love the fact they carry a variety of clothes sizes since, we have alot of girls in the family. I would highly recommend coming here and shopping. We will come back here to do just that. 🙂

We went because they had an Easter even for the kids going on. It was a blast and the kids had fun. Everyone was helpful and friendly.

This is my favorite exchange out of all the bases in norfolk a lil smaller but friendlier staff and less people which makes a quick shopping trip so much easier

GREAT place. I have been shopping there for over 20 years. NEVER a disappointment and the Customer Service is OUTSTANDING. Just wish the BAGGERS would get paid more.

This location is always stocked nicely. Associates in the makeup department are very helpful and friendly. My husband and I ate for the first time at the new Panda restaurant. The woman at the food service line invited us to try samples of several entrees. So delicious, fresh and hot. The food for a buffet line was quite delicious. The portions were generous.

My bagger today was number 184 and that kid was awesome. he packed my bags so they were light enough for me not to break my neck dragging them in the house, and he was very wonderful kid. he remembered me from last time which was even better. It was a very enjoyable experience today!! thank you and thank that bagger. Great day!

Awesome Exchange. You can find pretty much anything that youre looking for there. The uniform shop is about a block or two, in another building. No big deal though. Also, the food court just opened up a new burrito shop and its off the chain.

Very nice place to stop for a quick bite to eat, quickly grab the one thing that you need for your household, or major shopping for most everything your family might need. Employees are always very courteous and helpful with any questions you might have. Prices are great and the shopping center is always clean and neat.

This is a good NEX! Regular sales, friendly staff, never too busy, often not, always looks good and has more than we need. Lots of quality good and choices to be found

Little Creek is a mid sized base which has a Great Exchange and and a good Commissary. It has 3 gates which access the base Monday thru Friday. One or more gates are closed on weekends. It is a laid back base that encompasses all the essentials : Navy Lodge, Furniture store,, automotive service center, movie theater, bowling alley, etc.

This place is so awesome! Great selections and deals. Very competitive! Customer service is exceptional!

Why cant retirees get haircuts at the barbershop??? Ur employees told me they dont cut retirees hair anymore????? Common man!!

Went in to get a pair of Vans, found two pairs. Got them both. They happened to be on sale this weekend! Also had to get a smaller wallet, that was also on sale! Had excellent help from the employee who was at the Clinique area. The employee in Purses was also very helpful (and she pointed me to the affordable wallets instead to the selection of Kate Spade or Coach)! Checkout was quick. Parking was plentiful. It was an excellent shopping expedition on a Friday Afternoon.

Wide selection of everything from shoes to electronics. Its over an hour drive for me to get there but easier than going to NOB. Staff is friendly and helpful but not constantly asking may I help you. My favorite NEX to shop at.

Omg...for a Navy base not too bad. Im Army and love love shopping at my PX but this NEX was not bad at all. I raked in some great savings during the Xmas season. I was able to shop for myself and the entire family without pulling out my star card bcuz the savings were so great. Great variety of merchandise. You cannot beat no tax...I feel really privileged that this is exclusively for us service members. Great shopping experience. Friendly people and clean place. Food court is great too. Highly recommend.

The exchange is well managed. The employees are very friendly and helpful. I wish they carried KEEN and SALOMAN Shoes in the shoe department.The electronic department is outstanding, and they have great gear, unfortunately, technical expertise is a rare commodity.

Very large exchange and offers a lot of great shopping, food court, and a Starbucks. Being a coastie I would like to see more coast guard stuff there since there are coast guard units attached to the base, but I’m not too beat up about it. Hope you like navy seal stuff cause there’s a lot there. Great overall exchange.

So glad I was able to do the bulk of our back to school shopping here! Left totally satisfied with everything I purchased and got more than I expected! My sons wardrobe is top notch at a wonderful price!

Great place to find shoes on display. If you actually try to find what you want though, good luck, 50% chance it will not be in stock. Luckily the staff are always hiding so you dont waste a lot of time for them to see if what you want is in the back.

This commissary is great and it has great sales with a helpful staff. I think another cool thing about it is that they employ baggers from the local high school and they really give back to the community. I cant recommend this place anymore. You have to be military to get in though.

This Navy Exchange (NEX) is located on base. Its more convenient to enter through gate 5. Im a disabled veteran that uses a mobility van. The side door opens then a ramp is deployed. Im then able to exit the van and shop at the exchange. This full size NEX has the best handicapped accessible parking. The allocated space in handicapped parking area allows for safe exit and entry. The entrance to the NEX has electric doors that slide open for easy access. Once inside getting around is easy since the floor surface is very smooth. Since I use an electric wheelchair there is plenty of room to move throughout the main parts of the NEX. At certain locations navigating in some sections, for example the Mens clothing area, can be tricky. The restrooms are completely accessible and my wheelchair can get right up to the sinks. The handicapped stalls have plenty of room to back in and transfer to the commode or to empty a leg bag. All the NEX employees are very helpful to assist. This NEX has two floors and the elevators have plenty of room to enter and turn around. The NEX has the Package Store inside which is very accessible making it a more convenient shopping experience. Over the years our family has made numerous purchases such as clothing, appliances and furniture. (the appliances and furniture are located in the old exchange which is close by and very accessible). There is a food court that has easy access as well as a Commissary just a short distance away. On numerous visits Ive met other veterans in wheelchairs and I stop to introduce myself so they dont feel that their the only disabled ones shopping. If your a disabled veteran, dependent, care provider of a disabled veteran and youre eligible to use the NEX I encourage you to check out the Little Creek Navy Exchange.

Surprisingly first time here and it is nicer than Norfolk nex. This base has more amenities readily available.

Being a retired military wife I really miss going to their shops and getting my military discount. I found some great deals in the store and it felt good to use my military ID again. You dont use it alot living in Michigan.

Shopping great...found a great comforter set nice price. Clerk that checked us out was not very personable. Bored with it all.

It offers military members and their family a one stop shopping. Very convenient! They are renovating some sections right now. I wonder what else its going to offer. Definitely cheaper to buy military boots here than in Ft Eustis.

OMG, this expensive Navy Exchange is going to make you want to spend money! lol The store is laid out beautifully. The merchandise is not only inviting but seductive. Yes, seductive in how it is displayed. This Navy Exchange is an adventure in itself - on the ground floor and second floor via the escalator or the elevator.There are some good deals available; however, quite a bit of what is offered is top-shelf merchandise with a hefty price tag attached. Still, well worth the visit. Watch for the clearance and sales throughout the store!

Very nice NEX, it has been a while since I had visited. It is easy to locate and has plenty of parking. Great selection and I like that there is a separate store for furniture.

You could compare this to a walmart because they have everything that you are looking for and more. High quality items compared to out in town. Best of all they have recently remodeled! It looks very nice.

Great selection of alcohol, the Don Julio 42 is always on sale. Also they have a lot of different workout clothing.

The layout of the store is a little weird with the toys being between the liquor aisle and the garden section, but they have a good selection of clothes and friendly cashiers.

Super disappointed with not only some of the employees, but I thought that it would be better pricing then what I usually pay and it absolutely was not everything was so much more expensive and at the same time they didnt even have 1/2 the things I was looking for and needing to buy. However this is just my opinion and Im sure there are people that only go here to shop because they like or love it,but I will never ever go here again.

I really like this place, it has many different kinds of foods from many different nations, I also like the fresh fruit, which tasts very rich.

A nicely maintained and well stocked NEX. The food cort seemed to be limited in variety for the size of the exchange and the commissary next door seemed more Army than Navy to me.

Mens department is well stocked and much better than Im used to. Also staff was warm and helpful.

I went to the NEX and received excellent customer service in the Electronics department. I received some really good advice and answers to my questions.

Great prices. Great products. Only for people who are allowed on a military installation.

Always clean and never crowded. Store is rather small compared to other NEXs across the country. Items such as clothing can be on the high end cost wise but bargains can also be found.

Not the best exchange around (I prefer oceana) but nice. Clothes and jewelry on the first floor, shoes, housewares and electronics upstairs. Uniforms are down the road at the furniture store, though.

Managers are rude and condescending. Employees are opposite of managers. Employees are helpful and gracious. Ask a manager for help and they look at you as if too good to help and will YELL for an employee to help you.

Excellent base with big gym, state of the art football/soccer field and track which is turf! Good shopping at the large navy exchange and plenty of food choices at the food court. The beach on the north end is also excellent with several bbq points, gazeebo, and great view over the Chesapeake bay.

Not as good of selection as the Norfolk NEX but this is a great location to pick up household necessities and to buy furniture for newer residents. The recent remodeling looks great and I always enjoy shopping here. They usually have everything I need and save me a trip to Walmart or Target.

Smallest of the Exchanges in Hampton Roads, but fully stocked and you can get whatever you need here.

This is a very small nex, though it has a surprisingly decent selection of baby clothes and childrens toys. They dont have many mens and womens clothes.

The prices are good, but the employees have become rude. It used to be the big base, but the attitudes have switched. If you want good service and good prices, go to Naval Station Norfolk.

Great NEX location with a vast selection and friendly staff. Food court selections are weak and the Starbucks doesnt open until 7am on workdays, which is dumb for a military base.
