Walmart manager could not properly tell me how to add money to a cash app card. Everyone is scared of her but her brain is far from effective. Walmart should seriously consider this complaint bc if any employee asks me to testify about how scared they were to help me, I surely would! Employees shouldn’t be scared to assist when a manager simply doesn’t inform themselves of proper protocol
We came to this Walmart Supercenter to buy a couple of things and we realized that some items was out of stock and we were disappointed to see that this Walmart Supercenter doesn’t carry Capital City Mambo Sauce. But we did find it at a nearby Food Lion Grocery Store. Staff was friendly and helpful at this Walmart Supercenter location.
Daryl (our cashier) was really friendly and sweet. He spoke kindly to my kids and gave them the lighter bags when they asked to help reload the cart after paying.
They have 3 people at the front door asking if you would like a mask, but we spent 35 min waiting for an associate that was called 3 times to sporting goods. The level of customer service is horrible.
My Walmart experience on Laskin road at first colonial is always excellent even the cashier was talking to me about the groceries I was buying about making a meatloaf with brown sugar and bread crumbs and eggs and milk like a family environment excellent Walmart is the best
They did not have some of the stuff I went looking for. Its its utz bq chips .and dog clothes or costumes the other ones I go to have all that .why are the store so deffernt ?
Great value 8 oz. block cheese was labeled $1.48 but it rang up $1.86. I waited 45 minutes to get a refund and talk to a supervisor who seemed very unconcerned. I wonder how long this incorrect price has been going on. This why I check my receipts before living the register.

Self checkout wont take cash and theres only one normal register open with an insane line. Dont ask for sympathy about not having enough employees when you arent willing to pay your employees enough. Target doesnt have these problems.
Self checkout only credit. I usually pay cash. Only two lanes open with cashiers for cash vs 14 + self checkout. Ill use Kroger when its more convenient.
This Company will never change ! The Health department needs a better inspector who dont take money under the table! If you noticedNomatter what Walmartyou go to they all look the same. Food carts at the Customers Service Counter or near by it. Publix-Krogers-Foodlionare way better and saferto by Deli-frozon food & ect. Items than Walmart
This place sucks. Missing items that were paid for. The cashier wasnt paying attention. Didnt notice til got home. Nobody is answering the phone at the store. Cant get back up there right now. Cashiers need to pay more attention to what theyre doing and stop chatting with anybody and everybody.

It has become obvious in my last visits to this store, and other ones, that employee performance evaluations are not performed. If they are performed, what are the qualifying measures used to guide them to be a quality employee. I fully understand these times and how important it is for some folks to live off the government system or slide by grabbing the corporate dollar. My statements do not reflect all of your workers by no means. These low performing employees, that have no desire to be customer oriented, have proven to me that your aisle cameras are not functioning because they have no fear of being seen trying to hook up with their coworker instead of earning their pay. Touching merchandise on shelves pretending to straightened. Even the door greeters are un engaging as in the past. Leaning over their podium listening to their cell phone music or videos. Money for nothing. Cost of lazy none caring, non productive employees has again been passed onto us The Consumer. I have not thought of myself as your customer for quite a while. Good luck to you in the future. It has been an amazing view watching this company grow from the outside and now seeing its spiraling decline. Maybe Sears, Murphys Mart or K-Mart can make another run at it as you go out.
I was on vacation and needed to have a eyeglass lens put back into position. The optical department was very helpful fixed my glasses at no charge.
They employees we encountered were nice and helpful (not like other walmarts). Selection for hunting/fishing was very limited. The store seemed clean. The only real complaint would be that only 2 register lanes were open for people paying with cash...its a supercenter, it stays busy...more than 2 cashiers would be helpful.
This Walmart SUCKS!! They are NOT well stocked on ANYTHING you actually need. Half of the employees are either rude or dont know anything you ask them smh. Its like, do you even work here or did you steal someones vest 😆 This is why I will always take the extra time to drive to town center Walmart to shop. At least they are ALWAYS stocked up and the people are very nice and helpful. I recommend that everyone starts to shop there instead.
Its a normal Walmart, but one thing that stands out is it is consistently cleaner and better kept than the other Walmarts Ive been to in the Hampton area!

Cant buy perfume at this sight. They locked it up & then when customer needs perfume, no one can locate key. Happened to me twice. Waited 25 mins. second time. Finally gave up & went to another Wal-mart which is much farther from my house. This one is very close to my work.

Service was excellent. Filet mignon was tender and well seasoned. The seafood platters were generous in portions and perfectly cooked. The soft shell crab was a little crusty. Gave it a 5 because it was the best place we ate all week.
Don’t go to this Walmart! Apparently they expect you to check the UPC codes on the product your buying against the price tags. I went to buy formula and a whole case (10-12 cans) was put in the wrong spot but because the majority was in the right spot they wouldn’t DO THE RIGHT THING and correct the price. Apparently I was expected to look all up and down the formula isle to make sure there were no other possible places this formula could have been. Instead of owning up to THEIR mistakes they said oh well your problem not ours. Both managers I spoke with Deborah and another blond woman were both incredibly dismissive, unhelpful and rude do all but flat out saying I was lying and it was my own fault for not checking further down the isle.

This store is like a third world country...bare shelves, items everywhere not where they should be. Cart racks outside all full. Items need restocking badly, some shelves empty. Water aisle especially but others too. Its just awful. Fairly new super WM...youd never know it.

Not very well stocked, we went there 3 days on a row for Gatorade and the shelves were empty. Prices were high and Lidl and Aldi have Walmart prices beat.

I ordered Walmart pickup for the first time and they gave me rotten produce. They ask that you remain in your vehicle so you cant check before they leave. So, essentially, I wasted time and I have to go shopping anyways. I definitely wont be ordering it again.
Friendly and helpful staff/service. Plus the greeter always gives my six year old a sticker. Bathrooms kept clean as well.
Its an interesting Walmart. Not unlike other Walmarts Ive been to. The customers are of about the expected variety. Parking is sufficient. The pick up zone is on the side of the Walmart. I think this makes more sense as it doesnt take up parking in the front.
The super it’s Excellent, but the Ladies-at the register are lazy. They don’t want to help. They not doing anything and they talking. But they still don’t want to help. How disappointing. We coming from the Walmarts from MD and they help a little more in there.
Only 2 checkouts were open at 8pm. More than 20 people in line for each. Only one side of the self checkouts were open and more than 30 people in line for those. We left our cart and bailed. We stopped in the bathroom on the way out...all 5 stalls in the womens were too disgusting to use. Unbelievable.
We used the pharmacy and bought groceries around 10 a.m. Got everything we needed. Check out was quick.

Well, it looks like yet another Walmart has fallen. I have always been impressed with this Walmarts service and cleanliness and overall experience. But, I have tried all week to purchase a firearm for a family members birthday this weekend and EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I come in the person who is authorized to help you make that purchase is on lunch and wont be back for an hour. That is verbatim what I have been told 6 consecutive days and all hours of the day. They wont be wasting any more of my time, there are other retailers around here. Thanks anyways.

It was great, by knowing where everything is that you buy is awesome. The lines and self checkout moves fast. This Walmart just need to keep the large toys like the electric veh for kids 2- 6 well stock. First colonial Rd Walmart is great, traffic is CRAZY ON THIS ROAD. It will test your driving skills .
This is the only walmart that we have unless you want to travel.. However, the customer service is excellent. My only issue is that when people go to check out there are never enough cashiers.

Better prices than most grocery stores (save Aldi/Lidl and the price clubs). Parking lot is an atrocious mess. Product availability is sometimes on the weird side: they will frequently carry every variety of a thing except one. Example: Raos Pasta Sauce, almost every variety is here except Four Cheese.May be having stocking issues in dairy: milk and eggs sometimes sell out. Suspect it is the same supply chain issues plaguing every business.
Always pleasant to shop.at Walmart but some associates are not nice
The Walmart is fine but their patrons to this store are revolting. You can tell how bad it is by the number of lazy people that dont return their carts, they have no sense of civility.

Normally I don’t have a problem with this store. However I came to the cashier checkout line at 9:50 because the checkout lanes were card only and I only had cash. I was behind a couple that had a lot of items and honestly were giving the cashier kind of a hard time. I’ve been patiently waiting behind this couple for 15 minutes before he says to me that he’s closing his lane, even though I have been standing behind this difficult couple. Now I couldn’t checkout any of the items I got because all of the self checkout lanes are card only. Its not good practice to turn away customers that don’t have cards as currency to pay, it’s even worse to turn customers who have been patiently standing in line for awhile.

This Walmart is the closest to Va. Beach and Im sure they are constantly stocking the shelves, but it appeared like COVID had hit again because they were out of the most basic products. Hey managers, is your staff paying attention to items that are hot sellers.

Didn’t allow customers to come in 15 mins before closing. I needed a quick similac run for a baby. Walmart should change their shopping hours if this is their “new” policy
I went to the Auto department where they actually work on the car. Had to buy a new battery for my wifes car. Price was pretty good better than I thought. Customer service was good. He was very informant on information that I asked about the battery so it was very knowledgeable. I even think Ill start going there and have them do some repairs on the car when I need it. I checked out the prices on some of the repairs and theyre not bad.
Good enough, I went in for a PlayStation controller and there were none. With no explanation? But the lines move fast.

Purchased tires and tire installation for a dully online. Received an email that tires arrived for pick up. Called to schedule an appointment..when we arrived you have to go inside to pay for it. They were going to charge me more because the tires went up the price so called manager over and he had to honor it. The tire installation was not a good experience as one if the guys did not liked it when he saw the dully and he couldnt get off one of the old tires and told hubby there is nothing we can do. Do hubby jumped in and told the monster ti get a spray from advance to looking up the nuts as he didnt not wanted to leave without unfinished service. On top smart comments from installer. After hubby showed them how magically the last tire came of and was installed.....it took a total of 3hr..omg

The store was great and clean. But I won’t give it anymore stars than one I was debating on whether I should post this review or not. It’s very disrespectful and rude to categorize a person or group of people. So I went to Walmart and did my Shopping I was going to check out in the self check out, I had a restricted item so a lady came over with an attitude asking me very rudely what did I get and that was restricted (18 or older) I showed her and then for some odd reason she start to continue to finish my order and she get even more upset and says under her breath “I hate these people” and walks away not my first time with small minded people and probably won’t be my last
So I did grocery pick up thinking it would be quick and less exposure for me being Im high risk. Wrong! It took over an hour for me and the lady next to me to get our groceries. We both had checked in and called to let them know we were there even after receiving conformation text saying we were checked in and it saying on the site we were checked in. We called several times no answer we even left voicemails. After over an hour a lady came out to our car asking names but our names had already been taken over an hour ago for our order. The lady told me that it was my fault that I hadnt checked in but I had the proof I had checked in. She still blamed it being on my end. Well once she brought my groceries out she slung them in the trunk with no care. I did not even get an I am sorry for the inconvenience. If I wasnt in a hurry due to me just finding out not even an hour before more like 35 minutes before that I had two nails in my tire I would have checked my groceries but I didnt being I was late to my appointment for plugging my tire and trying to not go flat in the parking lot due to them making me wait over an hour. They did not put several items in my pick up that I had ordered AND paid for. I could have went in and bought my groceries and had everything I ordered in my cart then back home in the time I got my grocery pick up. Plus then I would have actually had all of my order with no missing items. If they would have answered their phone I would have just gotten a refund of my money back at that point and went grocery shopping after getting what I needed done elsewhere. I figured that this would have been a quick and safe option for me to do but that was wrong. I will never buy from there again. Terrible service.

Sadly like usual they had a lot of great things and pretty good prices but the employees were either rude or unable to do their jobs properly. asked for help and was ignored then when person finally answered they were rude and talk me to ask someone else then a mother employee rudly shoved by me. finally went I went to be rung up my cashier didnt speak to me at all and was super slow and made a mistake and was rude to me about it while telling me the mistake was her registers fault.
It was ok they didnt have anything tbh. Need to stock better but I understand the pandemic right now
Grocery pickup has given us bad produce 3 consecutive times. First bananas, next blueberries, finally cantaloupe. Recommend going in store if you need any produce, since theres clearly a deficiency there.
Service was a little off, not very attentive, but when it was time to pay he was havoring right over us, and didnt even thank us for coming. Will not go there again. But food was ok. Sometimes its about the service that makes a difference.
The biggest problem is that there is no clear layout of where things are such as: automotive, or sport or electronics, or food so you have to guess where to start the wander around till you find an employee to ask
You can shop for almost anything you want at this amazing store, the prices are a good deal, and you get get delicious and affordable food.

Didnt see many workers. Only 1 cashier was opened so everyone else had to go to the free cashier station and left us to figure it out ourselves.
Again, gave them another chance, same bs, 17 people standing in 2 lines, waiting to check out. By the time I did, all of my frozen foods, werent. Told them I wasnt purchasing anything that was cold/frozen, they could put it back, I wasnt, as Id already been in line over 30 mins. Just last week, after standing in line, again, almost 30 mins, I got out of line & pushed the cart to the customer service area & told them to get someone to put it back. A month ago, I wasnt as nice, I just got out of line & left the cart in the aisle. Cold, refrigerated & frozen foods & all. Im sure its all just write-offs for them, they dont care, but @ least they had to pay someone to do it. Im done with Greencastle Walmart. Get it together.
