Buckle up, boys! It’s gonna be a long one!My family and I have been loyal Checkered Flag customers for years. As a matter of fact, every vehicle in our driveway has been purchased brand new from either Checkered Flag Honda or Checkered Flag Toyota. So, to say the least, we have given you guys our business for the past decade, considering our oldest vehicle from CF is a 2008. Now that I have a growing family of my own, I decided to come back to where I (thought I could) trust. My husband and I have been wanting a minivan for awhile now. We came in and had Noah assist us. He was helpful, allowed us to test drive a Sienna and we discussed how it would work if we wanted to put a deposit down for the ‘21 Sienna XSE. He informed us that with inventory being scarce and the chip shortage, they have limited options as to what they’re able to offer us. However, upon looking at the upcoming deliveries for the Sienna, we agreed on placing a deposit down for a 2021 Sienna XSE in Blueprint. He told us that once the $500 deposit was placed, no one else could have dibs on that vehicle UNLESS we backed out of the deposit, they refund the $500 to us, and that vehicle is no longer ours. Otherwise, we would be the first to know about and look at/test drive the Sienna once it arrives. After placing the deposit, we play the waiting game. A week goes by, we don’t get any updates. Two weeks, still no updates. A couple days later, we call and Noah tells us he’s in the middle of a sale and to check our email regarding where the Sienna is at - as if we haven’t been anxiously checking everyday. We give him the benefit of the doubt and call back a week later only to have him telling us that they have SOLD that Sienna to someone else. But guess what… we never backed out on the deal, AND our deposit was never refunded UNTIL that very conversation we had with him. He stated that it was sold while he was away on vacation and that he’d get to the bottom of it. As you can imagine, we were EXTREMELY disappointed and frustrated. We have since decided to take our business elsewhere and would advise you all to be cautious trusting Checkered Flag.

Buying the car was a normal experience, but I got the 5 year deal for free oil changes and that has been a terrible experience. The receptionist named Ariana is so rude, she hung up on me once, answers with “ok?” like she isn’t supposed to even be working there, and put me on hold for forever because I kept calling back trying to see about why they were trying to charge me for an oil change when it’s supposed to be free as our contract stated. I don’t mind bad customer service I just want my car to be maintained as part of the deal, but she was disrespectful and should not be answering phones. I did not say or act in any way to make her upset and I don’t know what people are going through, but that was not professional at all.

THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! Tom treated us with respect and was truly transparent with the whole process. After a HORRIBLE experience with a different dealership that shall not be named, we were hesitant on going in. The process was AMAZING. If you want a stress free experience with no games...go here. We were in and out in 4 hours as opposed to 12+ hours with the other place. Trade in was what we researched, payments were what was expected--- it was car buying for today and NOT the 1980s bartering experience.

Tried to order some parts for my 4runner, and it was only minor push pin parts that totaled $15. They asked for the VIN number to the vehicle? I knew the exact part numbers of what I needed. So, then cancelled my order in less than 24hrs when I didnt respond with the VIN. If the Dealership is anything like the parts department, dont deal with these clowns.

Hands down, best dealership I’ve ever been to for service. Check engine light came on right before I was supposed to take a long drive to MN. They squeezed me in on Fourth of July weekend. Great customer service, Alejandro was very nice and patient, good prices and very nice lobby, but when they said that they will detail the vehicle before they turn the key to you, they got F-. I bought a 2014 RAV4 and has a cigarette smell, they told us that they will take care about that and that they will detailed the car. A 5 years old kid can do better job than they did.I posted a few pictures on Google about what they called “detailed”

Alex Suarez made the buying process a breeze and he is very knowledgeable and experienced. My family has purchased many cars from him and he is always an absolute pleasure to work with. Tina and the other receptionist were so accommodating. They gave us a spoon so my son could eat his dinner while we did paperwork and Tina made a toy out of a box to keep him preoccupied. Mikel gave us some wonderful pointers while we were taking a break outside. Overall, the staff was very friendly!

Van Eric was awesome! I have purchase lots of cars and this, by far, was the best experience. We came into the dealership knowing what we wanted but Van helped us work through our requirements and we left in a new Toyota Avalon. We were not even considering the Avalon but once Van explained the features and benefits, it was a no-brainer. So happy with the car, the experience and Van. If you are looking for a new car with a very low pressure approach, Van is your guy.

When i first went to this dealership, Tony had helped me out look for a specific car that i wanted and that was also in my budget. they didn’t have it. however, i had changed my mind later on and started looking for corollas. i went back to this dealership because they had a 2018 white toyota corolla available that i have been wanting and that was also in my budget. Tony continued to help me. he was really helpful and patient. he knew what he was talking about and he was completely honest. he cares for his customers a lot which is really good to have especially working at a car dealership. i would recommend Tony. he is also a funny guy which made the whole time even better!the process of getting my car only took about an hour. just an additional tip, if you’re wanting to put down a down payment using your debit card, call your bank first to set a limit so you don’t have to wait longer.overall, i had a great experience at this dealership. besides Tony, everyone else was really nice and patient. thank you.

Recently bought a brand new Jetta and a used 2008 4-Runner from Checkered Flag. I was told the 12 month Warranty for the 4-Runner was pretty much bumper-to-bumper. Well, it just so happens that the fuel sending unit needs to be replaced (bought the car end of July...been having issues with it since early August...just now able to get it in because of my schedule). Warranty does not cover this. I begged and pleaded my case to my service contact who took it to his manager. The AUL Warranty does not cover this particular part. I was able to ask if I could just pay for the labor and they obliged...would have given 1-star if they did not! I had to ask for that...it was not offered. I get the whole warranty not covering the maintenance for replacing this part...its the fact that I just recently bought this car and a brand new car back in May (so you could lean towards me being a good customer) and having a fuel level issue could be a safety issue with my daughter thinking there is fuel in the tank and her running out of gas out in the middle of nowhere. Checkered Flag makes tons of money...im sure they could have helped out a recent good customer.
