This Walgreens has the rudest, nastiest, young female cashiers in all of Vero beach, for years. Writing to their management does nothing. Ive never received an answer much less an apology. So maybe the regional manager of Central FL needs to finally be contacted, as they continue to hire the lowest of the low, and do nothing about it.

Pharmacist on duty today completely ignores customers at counter waiting for service.It appears that it is more important to clean out prescription bins of unwanted medications and place in to a shopping cart.

My 18 month old and I waited 21 minutes to just drop off a prescription. We were the 4th car back. The pharmacy tech stated bc they are testing for covid. How concerning. Horrible wait times. Not to forget to mention when we returned, we were the 7th car back....... geez walgreens. U and publix have a corner every 7 blocks or so, get it together please.

The store is fine... Sadly, the homeless looking for help, sitting at the Entrance in front of Walgreens Liquor store section is problematic: cigarette smoke at entrance & unsightly Entrance... 🤔😲😪

My husband and I were in the area and walked into the Walgreens Liquor store. We had just come from eating out at a restaurant and couldnt wait to grab a bottle and get home. Unfortunately the alcohol I normally purchased was out of stock. I asked for a recommendation and we went to check out. Thats when the cashier became nasty towards us. I didnt drive so I didnt have my ID, my husband was paying for it and showed them his ID. The cashier became so rude and stated No way youre over the legal drinking age and I will not sell to either one of you. I was in complete shock. My husband and I are an interratial couple with some years age difference between us. Fact is I easily could have returned with my ID if she was actually nice and quoted a company policy but she didnt instead,nasty remarks and gave my husband dirty looks as if he was illegally purchasing alcohol for me. I later called and reported the incident to the manager. This actually happened a few years ago. I can happily say I have never once shopped here again.

Today my husband and I went to this location and we noticed a man wearing no mask coughing all over the place. Spoke to the assistant manager and she said they can not in force it. Doesn’t this company care about their employees and customers

Total Lack of Respect for a Customer!Most pharmacies can fill a simple prescription in 15-20 minutes. Its not rocket science. They take the pills from one bottle and put them in another.The experience at this pharmacy was quite different. The pharmacist asked me if I wanted to come backtomorrow. Really? I said my doctor told me to take the medication this afternoon. He said come back intwo and a half hours. How ridiculous. Almost three hours later I return. Prescription is not ready. I explain the situation again and in a half hour I leave the store with the prescription. No apologies, only a snarky attitude.Note to Walgreens Corporate Office: You need to retrain your employees or clean house and start anew.My advice to anyone trying to get a prescription at this Walgreens. Go somewhere else! The hassle isnt worth it!

Lack of upper management competence makes the store run how it does.People are counted as numbers not valued customers.Hostile environment to work in.Definitely would recommend you go to another store for your prescriptions unless you want to wait. Something that can be done in 5 minutes for a waiting customer gets forgotten often and end up waiting for hours.

The Walgreens on 17th Street is either completely understaffed or badly managed or maybe their pharmacy staff just has a bad attitude towards customers. Average holding time for calls 24 minutes, most times several medications not on site and have to be ordered. I never drive there without calling first. If you can avoid this location its worth the extra driving time to go somewhere else. I normally dont post if I have nothing good to say. This is the first time.

Good store with all the ups and downs of the employees. Pricing a little high you can buy cheaper at some competitors places. Pharmacy very busy - bring some time. Mostly friendly people that serve you right.

The pharmacy is UNDERSTAFFED and DISORGANIZED. Earlier this week I was told one of my prescriptions was ready in Virginia. I havent lived there in over 5 years, and no one had any explanation as to why it got sent up there. Im actually waiting as I write this-- I was quoted 15 minutes for a different prescription, and its been over an hour and a half and counting. I dont usually write reviews but this is absolutely ridiculous. They need to get their act together.

Ive been waiting on my four-year-old daughters prescription for an ear infection almost four hours at this point. Shes miserable right now. Its amoxicillin, not rocket science.I tried calling the pharmacy four times with no success. Upon pulling up to the pharmacy drive thru window, I told them I had tried to call four times, and was curious if maybe their phones werent working. The associate laughed at me, then proceeded to provide me with the excuse that she was the only tech working, along with one pharmacist.The point is... this is a pharmacy. I dont care if only one person is working... its a necessity that the phone be answered. You provide a human health service. In a literal sense, human wellness is in your hands.This is the first time I have attempted to pick up a prescription here, and I never will again.All of this AFTER dealing with a rude employee at this exact pharmacy just last week. I had a question about an OTC medicine, and Im positive that this was the actual pharmacist who was rude, due to his attire. I just brushed that off as perhaps he was having a rough day.Honestly, I dont even want to shop at this Walgreens AT ALL after this experience. Its really disappointing for a Walgreens.

Very bad place to have prescription filled, I always have some kind of problem and always wait thirty minutes or more on prescriptions that should already be filled. The people behind the counter are always mean and never smile, you are treated like dirt.

Store is okay. Employees are not very friendly. Pharmacy employees are not helpful or pleasant over the phone. Better experiences with the one on 20th and 58th but US-1 is more convenient for me.

The pharmacy is way understaffed so picking up a prescription is a real nightmare. When I’ve asked for an estimate for when it will be ready, I get a shoulder shrug, or I get told “no promises. “ Then after a couple hours I go to pick it up and I still have to wait in a chair over an hour to get it. Or it is called in by a doctor and 4 hours goes by and I learn they haven’t picked up the voicemail yet. This is unacceptable when you’re in pain and shows extremely poor management, if any at all. Walgreens deserves an F for treating patients this way .

My wife had justed gotten out of the hospital and I had stopped at the CVS pharmacy on US 1 in Vero Beach. As soon as I handed the Pharmarcy tech my wife’s prescription he rushed over to the pharmacist and I could hear him say this is a narcotic prescription. Of course it was because the hospital had just prescribed it. Then I overheard the pharmacist say something about a printout sheet about the new laws which are in effect now. We know about the new laws that doctors may only prescribe a 3 day supply. My wife is in pain and we sure didn’t need any of this attitude since she has been in hospital for 7 days. All we need is her prescription filled. Thank you !!!

After 10:30 pm ... The worse cashier ... Only Alicia and the manager are great. To the cashier who was on Sunday at 10.30 pm on December 4, I do not explain how he can be a cashier at Walgreens very polite, answering, and misplaced but can not. The manager had to stop him to shut his mouth. It made me feel very bad and without reason.
