No rye bread, no salmon burgers, no feta cheese, no lemon cake all past 4 weeks. I used to like this store but making another trip to another store is not worth it anymore. Also prices on certain items are going up consistently.

I shopped in store last Sunday and was very pleased with my shopping experience until l got to a cashier named David Paul, he was very rude, thew my groceries in the cart, meat on top of the dry goods even the chicken and pork l asked him to stop and he just kept tossing my heavy items like milk, soups etc on top of chips and bread l called for the manager, she can over but didnt say or do anything. However the district manager was called and he was much more concerned as to how l was treated as well as my food items.

For anyone who needs or wants groceries or appliances, come to this ALDI. Their prices are excellent! Their produce is excellent too. I highly recommend this store to absolutely ANY shopper.

A lot more options in terms of produce and general groceries compared to the West Hartford location. Was also a lot cleaner on the floors and in general it was a lot more organized. The lines were a tad long which made some people not socially distance since they went into the frozen coolers, but they got handled pretty well by the employees which was good. Overall it was a good experience and a generally better one than Ive had at other local Aldis.

I had always loved going to this Aldi because the employees were friendly and it was normally well stocked, but recently I had an AWFUL experience with a manager (I’m pretty sure her name was Dakota). I was looking for something I thought maybe had moved and she not only ignored me at first when I tried to ask her a question, she then said he couldn’t help me because she was doing something else, and when she walked away she rolled her eyes at me and muttered something under her breath so I won’t become back to this location. Hope you’re happy miss Dakota.

I went in looking for the vegan/dairy free pantry items that were advertised online. I get to the store and they have almost nothing. I found frozen veggies, a salad dressing, riced cauliflower, and breakfast sausage. Basically zero dairy alternatives besides the vegan mozzarella shreds, which are disgusting and gritty. So disappointed after hearing really good things they carry. I asked a store associate and she said “we usually dont have much of that kind of stuff here”. This isn’t low stock, it’s not available. Taking my money elsewhere.

Love Aldis, who would not like to save on groceries? They may not have the same selection as other stores, but in practice this makes very little difference for most people. When was the last time you actually walked down every isle in most stores? Do your self a favor and save a few bucks, store brand is also 95% good also.

I love this Aldi. I like it better than the one in Middletown as it is better stocked with Aldi finds. Aldi is my first stop when I go shopping for food. Prices are much better than other local grocery stores. Unfortunately they dont have everything I need. However 90% of what I need is very good and the savings are amazing. There are things I can get at Aldi I cant get anywhere else.

Good prices on food. Not crazy about Chinese imported canned goods. (Lead and mercury)

Shelves were sparse compared to other Aldis.. not planning on going back to this location after this visit.

Bring quarter for your cart use, no bags of any kind are provided, but the employees are treated well and you can save some serious money by shopping there. The deals on fish are not great, but pretty much everything else will beat any big y or stop and shop. There just isnt always the EXACT item or brand youre looking for. Good selection of produce. Great place to go to to feed a party.

Lovely Aldis that is a little run down. The staff are competent and ring you out quickly. Shopping here will definitely save you money but dont expect name brands. The produce here can be a hit or miss. I have seen veggies and fruits with mold (ew!) so I prefer to pick those items up elsewhere.Currently due to covid19, you dont need a quarter for the carts and they dont switch out the carts when you checkout anymore either. People shopping here do listen to the distancing rule although I have seen those without masks on.

Been going to Aldi since it opened. Make sure you bring a quarter to get a carriage. Very friendly and helpful staff and genuinely wants to improve your visit. Be careful with the produce as some is not so fresh. Some of the products have high salt or sugar content. They do have great prices!

Great store. A lot of seasonal options.

I shop during the week to avoid crowds. Todays visit was extremely frustrating due to the amount of people shopping on a Monday. This was further complicated by employees taking up half the isle with the huge carts they use to restock items. I understand that items need to be restocked, but a less busy time would be more appropriate.

Theres only 2 Aldis stores I will NEVER shop in again!! Ive had a bad experience twice at the Vernon CT Aldis. Both times it was at check out. The 2 cashiers, both men, just throw the items in the cart not caring whether or not they damage anything. Both times I asked them NOT to do that, they argued that they werent. I ended up having to refund 2 items the first time. He grabbed a loaf of bread in the middle and squeezed!! I shop for other people and they should get everything delivered in tact!! The second time, not only was he just throwing everything in the cart, he was rude and mouthy!! I wont be shopping at this Aldis again!! Speed at check out is more important than customer service at those 2 Aldis. During a time like this I find that sad and unacceptable!! This doesnt include the staff restocking items. They are usually very helpful.

Excellent prices, good quality and expeditious checkout! They dont carry many items I regularly buy and are too many times out of the staples, like plain Greek yogurt. But their prices make it worth my while to still start my weekly shopping there, and then head to a larger, full service grocery.

I forgot the milk and the lady took a second I didnt mean to hold up online but she was patient she was kind again patients.... its not what you do but how you do what you do and how she took her time and said its okay. And called other worker to pick up a gallon of milk for you and then line kept going again I didnt mean to hold up the line she was kind enough to say no worries and I like that patience I like the good energy THANKS FOR your understanding and patience

I love coming here especially after they remodeled and expanded their food selections, and now they carry organic stuff too. I can get like 30 items and come out spending $60 which is utterly impossible at Stop and Shop or any other big store. Some of my favorite items are their potato chips, cheeses, dry goods, and cereals. You cant beat this place. Goodbye big name grocery stores.

Amazing prices combined with high quality meats, produce, and groceries makes ALDI my primary grocery store. The selection isnt as vast as some bigger chain stores but you cant beat the value they offer. Just remember to bring your own bags.

ALDI use to be cheaper but still competitive but the prices for dairy products are not the same at all stores. For example, I bought eggs @ Aldi in Vernon in the beginning of their sale week and went to the East Hartford store later, in that same week, and the eggs were jacked up in price in comparison to the Vernon store! The site needs improvement, you should be able to search all the items they carry, not just see the items that are on sale. You should be able to pick your store where you want to shop since, certain items are available @ some of their stores. Moreover there should be an out of stock items area.

The update is absolutely beautiful. Great selection at a pretty good price. I will say make sure you check dates and check produce thoroughly before choosing. Dont forget a quarter for the cart and bags cost extra (from .07/bag to .89, depending on what you want)

Acceptable quality at excelent prices. Just pay attention as some prices can spike up for a week. You will need to bring your own bags or buy some of their reusable ones. Dont forget a quarter coin to unlock the shopping cart, you will get the coin back when you return the cart.

Do not buy the hazelnut spread off brand nutella!! I have been traumatized by what I felt in my mouth and after spitting out what looked like some family of a worm I dont think I can eat any of the $300 worth of groceries I got from them. I am so paranoid now. It was a traumatic experience. I am discussed.

This particular Aldi is quite busy on Saturdays, but the cashiers will get you out quickly.

Clean, cheap, nice, this is how to describe Aldi. I like to European style, wher you have such a variety of products in small building comparing to competitors. Prices are way cheaper then others, and quality of the products are equal or better than competitors. I strongly suggest bring your own shopping bags or baskets becaus Aldis charts are huge and sometime when its crowded you might have problems to go thru. Give it a try.

If you compare the ingredients to the national brands you will see Aldis has less chemicals, additives and is more natural for a fraction of the price. They do have an organic line and its affordable. Dont buy the meat, its awful. Produce is usually great and affordable. I dont buy frozen, prepared foods but they do have them and I am told they are better quality than the national brands.

Great products! Even greater prices! Aldi is my go to store for the bulk of my weekly shopping. The savings are incredible! The store is always neat, clean, well stocked, and efficiently run. Do not let long lines scare you. Not only are the cashiers are very speedy, they are friendly and professional. If you want top quality products, at rock bottom prices, I highly reccomend Aldi!

Nice, clean store. Recently renovated. Need more workers in store. The workers are frequently pulled in every direction (this is the business model of Aldi). The workers are doing the best they can. Lines are frequently backed up during rush hour. Being such a popular store in recent years, I would have thought the company would have expanded to a larger footprint. Its getting crowded.

I was an Aldi denier for years and after hearing about it from my sister a few times my wife and I finally went and have been back every week since. We can usually get about 90% of our grocery list checked off. They have a good selection of organic items and I love how fast they get you in and out. Go earlier in the day if you want things like Organic Milk or Cage Free Eggs as they sell out.

The produce is ok, fast lines and more of a selection than I expected. Remember to bring your own bags and a quarter if you want a carriage.

Hit or miss. They have random produce that is a good price, but usually in quantities that are hard to use before going bad. Most other items are off brand but are good for the price. Meat prices are good but the quality is just ok. Bring bags or buy paper ones there for a few cents.
