Great service poor cashier was all by herself it seemed but she still kept rolling!

Had a lot of electronic store coupons but there were some many stipulations on the coupons that I only was able to use a couple of them

A tad messy today but it was also stocking time. We had to detour ourselves around employees.Some grocery items were less expensive compared to local grocery stores so a bargain if looking for soda or smaller packaging.Well diversed in supplies and staff was courteous.Seasonal items move quickly.

Nice people work here!! There always ready to help the customer, actually when I think of it Ive seen this at many Dollar Generals! Thank you sales associates in a stressful time its nice to see your kindness!

Some of the cashiers are very rude there. They dont say a word to you then throw your receipt at you ... the young man yesterday was very polite though!!

Great prices but slow check out service. Looks like only one person was working the floor and one cashing out. Always great prices on cleaning goods. Food items are hit and miss. Some other locations are cleaner and nicer like Stafford Springs CT which is the best as far been in.

Its a really good place but they run low on stock alot so there may not always be everything you want.

So the store location and employees are great! But I bought this slime for me and the kids, it has a chemical that lingers on the hands. Not only do I taste it when I eat fingered foods but my hands look like they broke out from using it! Please do not buy and use, this chemical has been on my hands for 2 days, I’ve washed my hands 30+ and took a shower. 20 mins of play with the slime leaves the chemical that’s in it on the hands and it’s very unpleasant.. it’s called 2lbs pearlescent scented slime! DO NOT BUY

The newly Built store Rt 30 Vernon CT... Very Clean well stocked & maybe that because its new!! I give it high rating because its not YET clustered or dirty... The only issue thats negative? Not enough staff available too help out!! I waited 15 minutes before the Cashier was OFF register too assist me and then she had no idea of where the item was!!! She wasnt a help at all!! But? Its close bye me & New!! If they had more help? And taught the staff the layout of store? Maybe would be better experience!!! So? Ill go back but Im hoping its a better experience

All employees are so very helpful, kind, friendly, all around great people. Been shopping here and saving allot of money. Sugar, flour, pineapple, drinks, coffee, cookies, laundry items you get the idea. So everyone stop in and say hello to everyone. After shopping check your receipt and look how much you saved! Good store depending on which location.Some can be a bit messy in certain area of the store .But all in All a great place to pick up certain items .They do carry mostly everything like s bigger grocery store but one smaller scale .

I’m from Colorado and i was visiting a week ago in Vernon Ct with family, and i was having a horrible day. I came in with a screwed up attitude and i couldn’t find what i needed. So i asked the sales associate by the name of “Toi” if she knew where the coffee was and she happily stopped stocking and showed me. I completely blew her off with attitude. It was time to checkout and she still had that smile and said i hope your day gets better sir, and i smiled. She said see there yo go, life is too short to stress the regular stuff. Little does she know she changed my whole aspect. Great store, great employees. She’s a keeper.

The guy who works at the cashier (Rick?) is great, honestly. I come here a lot and he is always smiling and friendly.

Considerations for employment were unpleasant for me. I did see all the bad reviews and concluded I am not alone in my theory. I could have aced that job but have devoted my life to the study of how suggestive conversations leading unsuspecting applicants to encounter a daily sacrifice in waiting for months and 2 store locations to send me mixed messages while I wasted so much time and belief in the I got you approach to a proper interview. Community movements which begin and end with no support to the town or its people.

Great store for quick pickups. Fairly decent prices

This new store is nice. The staff is wonderful. My only suggestion is that they keep it fully stocked. Most of the times I have gone in it is stocked but there have been a few occassions that there were too many outs.UPDATE: They have a new guy here named Scott. He is unlike the others. He is rude, unprofessional and eats chewing with his mouth open as he rings the register. He over-talks and is wicked annoying. Thankfully the last time I went he wasnt in or I would have driven to the other location in town. This is the first time I have ever had an glimmer of dislike for the staff at either of my towns locations.

Victor was big help at the register. Very nice young man.

Busy. Only one register open. Totes blocking the aisle. Male worker went by me twice and never asked if I needed help. Second cashier finally came up but started talking to the other cashier. Finally got rung up and cashier bagged everything but toilet paper. Thought maybe it wouldnt fit but tried when I got home and it fit fine.

The manager Bills subtle racism was very off-putting. I asked where excuse me do you know where the Mens Deodorant is? His entire energy was foul as he pointed to it so I thought maybe he was having a bad day. But when I waited in line as he spoke and smiled with every Caucasian customer around me. When I got there and Said Hello He dropped his head and with frustrated tone said Need a bag I was so thrown off I said Hello again and he said Need a bag! So I said no but Ill be sure to make a call about my customer service. He said Please do very smug and for no reason. Tired of getting treated like a second class citizen because I wear my hat backwards.
