Love me this Stop & Shop! Frankly I love to go in and shop here: they have a terrific staff that is very helpful, friendly and very professional. However sometimes I have other things I have to get done so I do a pickup and it is always very well put together and is getting even better than it was at the beginning of all this pandemic stuff. So whether youre going in to shop, or shopping online, this Stop & Shop is a good place to go!

We were celebrating our god-daughters big 10th birthday party this past weekend. Ended up placing a last minute balloon order the night before ...roughly 10 minutes after the florist shop closed. The crew at the customer service desk carefully wrote down our order and assured us they would give the note to their colleague in the morning when she arrived. Not only was the order relayed perfectly, but the bouquet of balloons looked gorgeous!! A special shout-out to Jessica for doing an amazing job!! Great customer service all around from start to finish!!Thanks to the crew at store 2614!!

I went to Stop and Shop around 9:30 tonight. The lady working the register was so nice and positive! She was telling me how much she loves life and how good God is. She told me she has no fears, stress or concerns because God is good. Her happy little self made my night. I wish more people were upbeat and full of positive light!

Workers could try to be more friendly.But I guess nobody wants to work anymore. Could be supervision.?

I went to Stop & Shop at 2pm October 10th. I used the self checkout machine and it declined my card 3x. The young man working there ask me for help I said no. And he began to raise his voice at me and told me don’t take it out on him because I have an attitude. At that point I began to leave the store because my transaction finally went through. And he felt the need to yell at the top of his lungs and say “don’t take it out on me” I told him there was no need for his comment and he walked away.

The better of the two stop and shops in the Vernon area. Staff is usually helpful and have good selection of goods fresh on hand. Good quality.

Has everything needed for a great dish, not very many vegan options.

I have done online ordering and pick up recently. I’m extremely impressed with this location as they’ve never missed an item and their staff is extremely friendly and courteous. I appreciate this service so much! Being a mom of 4, it’s not always easy to go grocery shopping. A big thank you to the staff!!! I appreciate you!!!

Prices are high, sale prices better, need to get store rewards card, has clearance items, friendly staff, staff wear black baseball caps but with black lettering difficult to see Stop & Shop written on their caps.

When you shop you earn Go-Points and you can redeem for gas, money off your next purchase a food or household items or special promotions. They always have good sales and good quality product.

Very clean and neat, polite stuff, good price

I have been impressed with how easy and safe it is to make a pick-up order, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, and the time it takes to get my order when I arrive at the store. The staff always calls to make a substitution if needed. I have always been pleased with my my final order. I am now doing pick-ups at least twice a week.

Honestly, I dig this store because I always ran into a diverse group of people.. This includes people of color, people with disabilities, multigenerational etc.. In other words, no matter who you are, you are served.

I took my elderly mom there, and the cashier was so patient and kind. Such a pleasant experience. Young man, Justin. A credit to your store.

Its small but convenient.

I was very impressed yesterday, they had a masked employee sanitizing the shopping cart handles. There were markers on the floors for people to stop at in line to ensure distancing, the arrows were still on the aisles. Very few people were shopping and all were following protocol. Still no lysol in stock though.

Love this store some of the fellow shoppers are very friendly and so is the staff. Havent seen any chaos since Ive moved to using this location. Great experiences

The staff is so helpful and welcoming. Everything in the store is well-stocked and its an overall enjoyable experience to visit.

After many poor experiences with the Pick up service at another location we started going here. The last 2 weeks I have found the staff to be very courteous, helpful and they always call before pick up to review substitutions from my shopping list. They have been great!

Store is terrible they have nothing in stock..just frustrating trip.

I cant understand how this store continually runs out of items, has low inventory of subpart meat and generally has no one to bag. I go to other stores to pick up what S&S runs out of and end up doing more shopping. Since pandemic started, this store had gone down in quality and inventory.

Stop and Shop is open Monday-Saturday 7:30am-11pm and Sunday 7:30am-10pm senior hours sunday-saturday 6am-7:30am gas station hours are Monday-Saturday 6:30am-10pm and Sunday 7am-9pm.

Good products and decent pricing

Quality has gone downhill substantially and Ive been shopping there since theyve been there. Lots of time not well stocked and I hate to have too big my groceries. Not enough personnel in the store

Not the best quality or price. As soon as we get our second vaccine shot, we will be doing all major shopping at Massachusetts Market Basket supermarket.

This Stop and Shop is cleaner and more organized than others I frequent. I love the selection of ready made foods, the deli, and the meat and seafood sections are all clean and well stocked.

I like this stop and shop. For a small store they still have ALL the variety and freshness of the bigger stores. Clean and precautions are practiced. Its not hugely over whelming, you can get your shopping done fast!

We had a graduation party and wanted to do something special with the bakery. Our son is a big fan of Hamburger and Fries and I recalled this bakery made a hamburger cake so I decided to order the hamburger cake but also add fries. I spoke with Debbie to share my idea and she was sp excited and did some research of how she could make the fries. She came up with an idea and executed it flawlessly. The cake was a huge hit at our party and tasted even better. Special thanks to Debbie and team for bringing this idea to life. I will definitely use them for our future needs. Well done!

They always have just what I need

Not a bad location, of course products are more scant due to Covid.That being said, I have never had a bad interaction with the courteous and friendly staff at this location, and am very pleased with the hours they are open.My only complaint would be the very limited produce selections.

High price and very few cashiers plus they charge for bags!

Social distancing is no longer marked on the floor. App for coupons stated down for Maintenance was able to use the coupons once I got to the counter, but I had no idea what coupons I downloaded the night before!!

Lines at the register were 2 to 3 persons.Self check out employee approached me to assist with a quicker check out. She was pleasant and helpful. I was very gratefulsince I was pressed for time. I will now be comfortable to do my own check out next visit.

I can say that this location has always been the most close to home location. Its an older store but we maintained and clean..well stocked with a friendly staff. As with most stores these days the majority of the registers are self checkout with limited cashiers manning just a few...they are very quick even with large orders...good selection of produce and meats.

Store is newly redone and looks really good. It has self checkout as well as a few cashiers at most times. It has quality departments and prices seem in line, also tends to have good sale prices. My favorite aspect is it seems like neighborhood grocery store with friendly service that you can get in and out of quick.

Im new to the area. This supermarket was organized, well lit and an overall a pleasant, easy experience.

Nice local grocery store with good bargains

I just spent 150.00 in the Vernon store.I thought it would come to around 90.00.The prices are very high. The bananas were all overripe. Its fine for a person who are going to eat them in one day. The toilet paper was 5 aisles away from all the cleaning things. The meat depot was horrible. Meat was fatty and expensive. 3 registers with humans, and 9 with self serve. Im so disappointed in stop and shop. Sad to see the lack of employees. Welcome to future!

This Vernon Rockville Ct store is awesome, kudos to the manager of this store, super clean, very friendly people, the people that work there is always polite, and well-stocked.

Went there today. Was looking at car deodorizer for my car. I noticed 2 different ones on sale. I bought one, but it did not ring up for sale price. I called over the front end worker, who checked on the price and said it was not the one on sale, and did I want the one that was....no I said. He subtracted the price. I said that there was a sticker under the other one. He completely ignored me and went back to work. I went and checked and sure enough rhe sticker was there. I called him over and showed him. He says well someone must if moved them. Thats not my problem!!!! I left, saying I should actually get it free, but instead will buy it, and my other groceries elsewhere.

Well know convenient store. You can find there all sorts of food and some basic home stuff. Nice and friendly people are always willing to help. The four stars are only because they changes in store. When you finally remembered where everything is they will move staff around and you have to search things you need. Unfortunately this is commonly used marketing trick to keep people in store so they might find new things to buy.

This place is slowly improving. It would have been a 3 star. But a couple of department changes and product availability has increased my rating. Still needs more. Keep it going!

Typical Stop & Shop -- it gets the job done for groceries, but if you actually LIKE shopping for food, youll hate it. The service at the deli counter is abysmal, the store always looks shabby, the meat department / cases are a study in bad choices, and the chances someone will actually be around to bag your groceries are slim and none. I only stop here for a quick item or two -- for full shopping there are better choices close by.

Stop and Shop is always an very good grocery store in Vernon. This grocery store have tons of things there for home including fruits, vegetables, pizza, grinders, drinks and other groceries. Me and my family have visited this Rockville store many times. Very Convenience and an Perfect Place for me and my family. Also, Staff is always a very nice, helpful, responsible, and hard working. I would love to come back to Stop and Shop again very soon.

Can no longer get a big pack of hamburgers & all they got is 4 burgers in a pack which is not enough to feed a family & to buy extra packs of burgers to equal the amount of the big pack they no longer have. It will cost me more than the big pack alone. I just dont have that kinda money. I only have $200 a month after rent & Bills to feed my family. There way overpriced as well as other stores & its such a shame to have to go hungry cause of greed

It was good. Especially when you know the store. I was in and out in about half an hour. I didnt buy much, but got bargains.

Good grocery store. On the small side and the layout takes a bit getting used to, but it has everything you need. Because of the size, the brand selection for any specific grocery item can be a bit limited (or flavor, etc.). But it is convenient and usually not crowded.

I like how they changed the store around well most of it.

This Stop & Shop has a variety of numerous items on sale every week!! Sometimes they dont have any of these items we want from the store but thats the point. I really like their interior design. This evening, I was there with my brothers and my mom and we bought worth way over $200 of groceries. What an awesome trip!☺

Im someone that isnt grocery shopping very often so finding things can be a real trip! I know where the main items are but... anyway, I find the store personnel to be very helpful and it seems whoevers I ask, they can tell me right where it is this sa ing me lots of time.

Ive always loved shopping here for many years, even when Shaws was here before. Staff are nice, and theres always good deals! Always have come here for ingredients for homemade food!

I love stop and shop but thats when the employees where stricking and they refused me entrance. I went home called the Corp office went back and this time the mgr was waiting for me at the door so I could get my money back on a bad cooked chicken

The employees are friendly and try to be helpful. Plastic bags need to be stronger. They always rip if not doubled so what are they save? Use stronger bags please.

I have great success @ both locations of Stop and Shop in Vernon. Great fruit and vegetables. Great service. I would recommend shopping there to family and friends.

Cashiers here are really rude. If youre going to pay their crazy prices, may as well get friendly service and just go to the one by K-Mart on Pitkin Road. They do have a great selection of food, and self checkout is an option.

I usually like Stop and shop, I try to go at off times. I am handicap and need an electric cart to get around, but today the store was empty and no carts. I waited for an hour to get one. Some of them not working an the others in use. And one of them wasnt functioning right. Need more that work.

Clean. Big vegetable and fruit area. Pricing is high on deli. They do price matching. Open registers quickly if there is a line.

My shopping experience here was very calming as I was able to enjoy the soft background music and get away from my screaming children and upon my departure was given a free cloth bag I will deff return

Aisles blocked by freight

Stopped in to grab some Kombucha. Sean the produce manager was awesome. We chatted all about what things he was getting in for his dept and how he was always looking for more varieties as well. Awesome customer service!

Currently my favorite store to go food shopping.

Stop & Shop is my go-to full service grocery. I like that I can accumulate gasoline points, and I like that they are open early in the morning for quick runs. I usually start my weekly shopping at Aldis because of their prices (I can consistently save a significant amout as I shop for a family of 6). But Stop & Shop has a much broader selection, which I need to cook what my family likes. Checkout folks are usually very engaging. Not so much so with the other folks on the floor when I have questions.

The Rockville Stop & Shop has very friendly and helpful employees! I usually use the self-checkout and if I encounter an issue, it is resolved quickly!
