Love shop rite!.they need to have a way to announce the numbers when waiting in the deli, I waited 10 mins and missed them calling the number, I was sitting on the bench and didnt hear them call the number nor did my 14 year old son or not too mention people that just chose too jump in front of us that showed up while we had been sitting at the bench ! I guess they thought we were just hanging out in a grocery store.. haha

Much more choices for food to go here over manchester store. They why I like this store better. Dont get me wrong Manchester store does a great job also just less choices to choose from. Rest of the store same as manchester by what I can tell

Disappointed at my experience at the deli earlier. When arriving at the deli I pulled a number for my turn. When my number was called, the young man at the deli acted like he didnt believe I was up. I believe he thought I tried to cut in front of an older white woman. He asked to see my ticket number. It was insulating. When the white womans ticket number came up I noticed she wasnt asked to show her ticket. Rasciam still exists. Its a sad world we live in!!!!

This Shoprite is in Vernon and I love the fact that they will cook fresh fish for you. So good

Shoprite is my favorite store and the newer one in Vernon is great. They have a good stock even under these circumstances.

Jessica the customer service manager is very combative and lacks empathy! After her employee messed up a 300 order and because of my skin color she treated me horrible What customer service manager you know insults the customers?Never again will i shop with shop rite.

Avoid the self check out area at all costs!!! Its highly annoying with all its warnings, telling you to put your bag here, take your item off of here....other than that, its a clean store, small and personable. Sales are good, but regular prices are higher than their competitors.

This is a very nice ShopRite. Inviting and clean entrance, sleek and well positioned displays, plentiful selections, spacious yet smaller compact floor plan. The setup of the aisles is strange with the food/grocery aisles in the back of the store, with a break in the middle and the health and beauty/general merchandise aisles in front. The prices are always fair at ShopRite. You will always find better deals here than other large competitors. Wish a location would come to Newington. The checkout experience was good. Nice cashier.

I go out of my way to come to this Vernon store. Sure its brand new, but its the people that make the extra 10 mins worth it. Everyone is so nice its happy go lucky, they are calm and pleasant, and not only help the customer but helps each associate out as well. Its a breath of fresh air coming here. Seafood guy is always nice and gives good recommendations and the front end makes you feel like you just left that corner mom and pop store. 🙂

My favorite grocery store☺️ Very clean has a great variety but it’s a little small to me in the front where registers are.

Employees are great. Live the set up of the store and their prices. Very clean store. I only wish they has a better meat selection- Ive looked for NY strip almost every time ive been in (about 3 times a month since they opened up) and Havnt found much for grilling steaks. Carts in parking lot seems cleaned up for the most part (not random carts all over the parking lot).

Shop Rite of Vernon is something new to try for going an real grocery store. On March 8th, I was there for Grand Opening Day with my family for the grocery needs. But, This place have an brand new interior with every departments and selections (meat, deli, and others), an cafe, checkout station with cashiers, and other things to do while I was at Vernon ShopRite. Also, the grocery store prices arent really bad as well. After that, the atmosphere looks great as an brand new grocery store location. Im very thrilled and very surprised for seeing an new ShopRite location in my hometown (much closer from my house) right after Price Chopper was closed down a year ago. This is worth exploring with all of the goods for the needs of an grocery store especially for home stuff.

I rarely give all stars... friendly and helpful. Main entrance door is locked one hour before closing but you can enter via exit doors. I like their baked goods and large variety.

Great new supermarket in our neighborhood. Nothing better than va brand new, clean, well stocked store. Only get out of the house we have lately and its a real treat. God, am I getting old.

If course its new so I like it. Its not as large as I expected and the floor plan is similar to price Choppers (may the rest in our happy place). The prices are definitely higher than Price Choppers. The staff is equally as friendly and helpful. We shopped in store and used the Shop at Home service both were good. Be careful of those shopping carts. For some reason the parking lot was sloped in some areas vs. being left flat and now carts can roll away from you.

Liked the fairly new store. Spacious!

Ok, but I find that the scooters are not kept charged for customers who need to use them. I find myself having to go where I can be accommodated and be able to shop for what I need and not have to do it in pain. I have not been having to use them but I fell 5/2019 and it has been a challenge to say the least.

ShopRite is the best grocery store in Vernon

The descriptions of the food items does not match with the items im given when shopping online. I put a $15 pork shoulder in my cart and received cubed up fatty pieces of pork for $3. Doent make sense. And buying produce online is just the same. I put a pound of grapes or tomatoes on the vine and received less than what i paid for or wrong items because the description doesnt match.

Good experience, thought some prices were a little high.

A lot of items not stocked. Not all sale items identified. Check out still a drag. Now that plastic is not free longer for people to open and try to fill their reuse le bag Why do they asked you the price. Cant he look at his screen. Need more than 2 registers open. Why do customers have to follow the arrows, but your shoppers andstockers do not. Set a better example. Coupons did not take price off one item. Seeing no one wiping down carts.

Was very impressed with how clean and how much of everything great vegetable selection and meat selection. Everything in stock. But nobody cleaning shopping carts or wipes to clean carts either. Otherwise great store Ill be going back better than the other local grocery stores and reasonable prices.

Its so new and clean and Love the way it designed when you walk in it feel almost feel like home and comfort to shop there. Heres my 5 Stars th Tricity Shoprite.

Unbelievably nice layout. Gray selection and great prices. Only issue is the self checkout. The weight seems to be highly sensitive and the coupons need to be manually entered by employees

Great store but my last time going there, I drive from west Hartford to go to this store but today it left me very disappointed, I pick up a product in the deli, 1 said a price of 5.50 next to it was the same product that was on sale for 6.50 a bigger package, I look an said the name so I took it, when i scan it, it was 15.99 so I told the lady she sent a girl who came back with the price tag that said 6.50 but told me they put the wrong tag on it an I should have read the bar code, I said are you kidding I have to see if everything I buy matches the bar code that little print, she said yes we’re not giving it at that price, I said keep it but she took the price off of it, great store but I won’t go there again.

Why do I have to give you any of my personal information to see your circular. I guess I wont be shopping there until the pandemic is over. I have no desire to wander the aisles aimlessly. I want to shop where price info is readily available to me without giving you any of my contact info.

I was excited to have a new store arrive. I miss Price Shopper. Went with my neighbors to check it out and did some mini groceries too. I was disappointed! The aisle are too tight and the floorplan is weird! Too overwhelming at the entrance! The worst part is customer services sucks. The cashier is in a rush to leave cause her shift was over and then no bag person for my neighbor that is handicap. They need to have better customer services and smile!

Cleaner than other stores in the area, open late, good pharmacy. This is my preferred grocery store even though its usually slightly more expensive .

Geez... I really feel like Im at Price Chopper again! Grand Opening Day at ShopRite. It was a blast in Vernon, CT. If you live in this area, you need to go there (Im serious!) next time youre around grocery shopping at the site of the former Price Chopper.Highlights of this store:-24 aisles-12 checkouts-Pharmacy opened during conversion before the whole store opened.-The Corner Cafe (new at newly opened/remodeled ShopRites)-Busy store (though not as slow for checkouts!!!)Overall, fantastic grocery store in the town of Vernon.

Their self check out is a joke. The register kept locking up because I was bagging incorectly. You cant even scan your own coupons. After waiting almost 5 minutes and holding up numerous people I asked her why I couldnt she said it was store policy and it pertained to theft. You treat you customers like thieves and its bs. Definately wont be back!!!!!

Store is always stocked and thats why I love it, but no help bagging. It is difficult being 9 months pregnant and going to grocery store, but to then not have a bagger...ugh. Frustrating.

Clean and organized, never had to wait in long lines with slow cashiers.

They need to update their frozen food categories so you can get frozen rice and frozen rice cauliflower in the same trip. The computer recognizes the rice and cauliflower as the same item and because theres a limit I cant get them both. The cashier wouldnt even let me do a seperate order. Its frustrating!

Shoprite hired a company, Crossmark, to merchandise for them and at specifically this store they let multiple employees work before getting their temperatures taken, risking the spread of COVID-19 and the employees laughed in my face when I confronted them. I will never shop here again!
