The owner is a super chill guy used to play MTG with him and his son years ago at a game store called CCGHouse. And before that I was buying and selling games from him at a store that used to be around, but is not anymore. Great place to shop and sell.I was given over 50% value for my stuff and it was some cash some store credit which is exactly what I wanted. The staff are extra friendly too. They will always go out of the way too make sure you find what you want and if they dont have it in stock they will call you when they got it in.Almost everything is cheaper then what you find at other stores or online. And the bets part is they DO NOT sell online so they always have a nice selection to choose from in store. I always found stores that sell online never have what you want and are not keeping the local customers interest at heart. But this place does. Would recommend to anyone. Love you Legendary Games.

This is my go to spot. Family owned and ran. These folks have been working with me on my video game and movie wants and needs for probably close to 20 years! As employees with other stores and now as owners of their own. I cant tell you how awesome it was the first time I walked into their store and recognized them. I was so happy. It had been a few years since I had seen them. I knew I was in good hands and I do business buying, selling and trading with them often. I highly recommend this store and these people. I wish I could give them 6 stars out of 5!

Bought a video game from them. Had 2 stickers on the game that read $4.99 on the box. Should have seen the charge before I left. Saw on the receipt when I got home that the woman charged me $11.95 before tax. Ummmm… what?Really nice people though. The lady inside was super friendly and the owner even thanked me when I ran into him outside because he noticed that I bought a game from them.

Decided to check this place out and needed a new game store to look at. I was so glad I dropped by here because I am impressed with their low prices on games and the store owners even gave me a good deal on a rare hand held gaming system and included a charger with it for free. I will go back to this place again. They also sell DVDs as well.

A great place to look for retro games in (typically) great condition. The owner is an awesome guy, and is more than willing to work with you for trades. If they dont have a particular game you are looking for, they will put you on a wait list, and hold it for you for a short time: great for those hard to find games. Overall, I highly recommend this location for your retro hunting. As an addendum: you may want to avoid if you have a severe dog allergy however.

Just had a less than satisfactory visit at Legendary Games. We bought two NEW N64 controllers 10 days ago, mind you we live out of the area. Tonight we took both controllers back, again just 10 days later, boxed and WITH a receipt... and the clerk could not refund our money back. The controllers’ sticks stuck and did awful squeaking during game play. The man behind the counter lied and said he “remembered” my husband during the transaction, which is not in fact the truth. My husband was never told the policy that you can’t return items. Which would have stopped our purchase right there.Seriously so disappointed in a small town business not helping the customer out. We will not be back and honestly won’t spend another dime there. The clerk was rude and wouldn’t in the least help us out. He said he couldn’t afford to refund our $40, makes me question how one can be in business on that budget....

Great place to find older and new games and movies that you may have forgotten. The staff is super helpful when it comes to knowledge of video and table top games. If your looking for something to help you figure out what to do with a long boring night at home stop in and see what they have in store for you. Normally game stores (retro stores especially) have insane markups but just about everything I saw was at or below what it should go for. They were very happy to work with me on prices for several games I picked up as well. All in all, solid game store, I wholeheartedly recommend checking them out before going anywhere else!

Walking into Legendary games was like walking into another world. A very happy a friendly world just for gamers. The man at the counter one of the owners was one of the nicest most knowledgeable associates I have ever had the pleasure to deal with.I brought in several old school consoles to sell to him I wasnt expecting much and no he didnt take everything I had but he explains his reasoning rather then just saying no. He offered me either in store credit or cash. Not knowing I would stay yet I took the cash. Then I got a chance to look around.I cant describe the multitude of games I saw. I could try but I would fail. They were also very fairly priced. Once he saw that I had a few games I wished to purchase he felt bad for not offering me the store credit and happily made me a deal to get the games for the cash he had given me.My husband was looking at the PC games hopeful they had something he would be interested in playing. While they did not have his usual type the associate offered my husband a deal try this new one hed sell it to us for 5 it was a deal and my husband is very eager to play it!I have only one complaint...The store needs to be bigger!Thank you so much Legendary! They sell you broken stuff, promising that it works, acts like they dont remember who you are when your the one buying most of their stuff in cash. Do not bother going in there, your just going to get ripped off.

Been going here for years, a dream location for the nostalgic and the modern gamer alike. Owners are friendly, knowledgeable and willing to make deals. The selection is mind boggling and they have the BEST disc cleaners Ive ever come across. They restored some, in my opinion, irreparably scratched original discs that wouldnt play before that now play like new. You can find games, systems and collectables here that you cant find anywhere else. Must see for any gamer.

These guys are great. Fair prices, honest trade-in values, and you can tell that they care about what they do. So for a long time Ive lived in the Vancouver Area and one of my hobbies is playing and collecting video games. for the longest time I went to GameStop, which in my opinion sucks balls. so then Im talking to a buddy of mine and says theres this game store called Legendary Games and how theres such good prices. so I go there and my mouth literally DROPPED. It was the coolest thing. Theyve got practically everything I need for a game room and you can get a game console for about 2 games! Highly recommend this place,its 1 of a kind.

He gave me a great deal, was apologising for the time it took (though I didnt mind waiting) and was very friendly the entire time he was processing my transaction. The Number one point to make is that Legendary Games will always give you more Trade-In Value on your games than anywhere else locally that I know of. Went to trade in a couple games, it was my first visit there. I was pretty impressed by their selection of older games and DVDs and they have all sorts of other cool stuff in the store and the owner was incredibly nice and helpful. Gave me well above what GameStop would have and it was so easy, I just handed him the games I didnt want anymore and was able to pick out a couple things I wanted and walk out. I dont go to game stores often but I will definitely return at some point. However a word of warning, they dont have a huge selection of PS4 or XONE games. Which isnt really a bad thing, honestly. Tons of PS3, PS2, GameCube, etc.,

These guys are FANTASTIC people, knowledgeable, and fair. Everyone that works here, even the owner, are just rad people. Morgan is constantly calling me with the Hey, I just got these in and I know the kinda stuff you like so Id figure Id shoot you a call situation. Their customer service is off the charts. Theyre constantly making sure that the customer is happy no matter what. After perusing the web for a bit, I still had no problem with handing these guys literally hundreds of dollars just because their prices where BARELY over private market value (They still need to keep the lights on and pay the employees, which I understand). If anyone needs any kind of video game advice, item, or just banter, go to these guys. They are seriously just good people and a good business.

This place is trash and super shady. Shop online or at other gaming stores.I wanted to buy some new N64 controllers, so I called Legendary Games and asked if they had any in stock. They told me that they had some third-party controllers that work great, etc. (Im not a huge gamer, so Im trusting that these people are the experts - my mistake). To reassure me that I should buy some controllers from Legendary Games, the guy on the phone tells me Come in, buy the controllers and if you dont like them or theyre defective you have 90 days to return them. Gee! Sounds risk-free!So I drive way out to Legendary Games and buy the 3rd-party N64 controllers. I try out the controllers with my friends and the controllers are terrible - just waaaaaay too sensitive. Completely unusable. I swear to god my friends were getting motion-sickness because their characters were swinging so far back-and-forth (we were playing Goldeneye). I know immediately that Ill have to return the controllers. I check the receipt and find out that all I can get is store credit, not a cash refund. The guy on the phone had completely (and I can safely say intentionally) mislead me.Wanting to get my money back, I call Legendary Games already knowing that theres not a chance that theyre gonna do right by me, but I figure Ill give it a try. I explain my whole story and the guy just says, Yeah, well our return policy is right there on the receipt. Exactly. On the receipt. After the purchase has already been completed, leaving customers with no recourse other than some store credit to this dump. I pointed out that I had only bought the controllers because when I had initially called Legendary Games, I had been assured that I could bring my stuff back within 90 days if I wasnt satisfied. Sorry, bud, was the guys response. Nice.I will never shop here again. You should avoid this place like the plague.Stay away. You cant trust these people.

The employees used to be nice and helpful but have become difficult to talk to or get help from. Their game selection has declined significantly over the years. We arrived at the store right at 11 am today and gave up any hopes of the store opening at 11:20. We even called and received no answer.

The best local video game store in town. This sentence could easily sum up legendary games, but there is so much more to this store than just those few words. This store is run by game lovers for game lovers. The prices are more than fair compared to many places most would consider game graveyards (Example: **Gameplay** Where games are so overpriced that they are left their to die). The staff is friendly and very interested in making sure that people leave with a good game to play and a positive experience. They have good trade in value, especially for magic cards. The local brick and mortar is slowly disappearing, but Legendary Games survives as it is more interested in keeping its customer base happy and coming through the Legendary doors on a regular basis. I applaud all who put in the effort to make Legendary games what it is; the best place in town to buy video games.

I bought a 3rd party game cube controller here. First it outright didnt work. When i went to return it they guy was super lame about it and made me wait for like a half hour while he wandered around testing the thing. Then sold me ANOTHER faulty controller. Obviously dont buy third party, thats my bad. But also dont buy anything but games from this place. Lazy and lame.

This store has a great selection of harder to find games. Wonderful friendly staff who are very willing to help or just talk about gaming with you. A great selection of older Gameboy games and they know how to fix those dead save batteries.

I had one bad experience while trying to sell a gamecube to them in the past but I think he doesnt work there anymore. I went back today and bought 4 movies for 8.68 and Im really impressed. So Im raising my score from 1 star to 4.

You get that that really awkward feeling when you browse around, uncomfortably too quiet unless theyre (staff) chatting. The place could use some music, not typing keyboard background noise. When friends invite me to come over to browse, I second guess myself. Good games and prices though.
