Tried ordering online for pickup, it kept telling me items were not available. Stopped by and went inside, there were plenty of what I wanted on the shelves. Dont trust the website for inventory. Glad I just went anyway, unfortunately I was completely out and couldnt wait for online order. I do order from Ulta online if I can wait, always very pleased with the prices, sales and products.

I have been going to this salon for over 4 years now, and my go to girl is Cami. Cami always knows how to transform my hair into something beautiful. Not only is she amazing at what she does, she’s also so personable, kind and keeps it real. I look forward to every time I get to sit in her chair. Her energy and personality are so magnetic. Go see her! You will not be disappointed.

Love, love this store. Very convenient and some really nice products. Love that you can get a refund if the product isn’t working for you. Only reason for a 4 star is the young ladies that work there need a better understanding of mature skin. The sales associate should take the guessing out of buying and not leave you guessing. The young ladies need some corporate education is all. I am 53 and it would be nice, regardless of the age, to feel confident in my sales lady or gentleman. Thank you.

I have always loved this Ulta because the people that work there are incredible. I have been going here for years when ever I am in town and the customer service is #1. The store is also neatly laid out and conveniently located where you can get to it through several different entrances (I choose to park at Macys and then go through there). In comparison to Sephora - Ulta is hands down far better in service and rewards program. They are clean, organized, professional, accessible, and offer convenient in store pick ups. I have never used their hair salon, but its a nice perk to have inside the store. Definitely my go to for all my makeup and hair care essentials.

Today I went in and showed Cami pictures of two different ideas that I wanted to incorporate in my hair. I left with a beyond beautiful blended Balayage with a purple shadow box. I am so in love!! Not only was Cami super professional, but she was also super personable. We clicked right away and I am so thankful to whoever cancelled allowing her to see me today!!

Store is a little bit much for me as in high-traffic but that is typical for a store that sells makeup etc- but during covid Im not keen on being in high-touch, high traffic establishments. The person who helped me was awesome though. It was pretty busy in there but they had a great handle on things.

Loved the hairdresser who helped me find Keracolor for my orange-ginger hair - I LOVE it. You do get asked multiple times by each worker if you need help but I chalked that up to them always getting stolen from. Because they were kind of stand off-ish I didnt end up asking them for help buying a new pallet, eyeliners, blush, brushes or new lashes since I decided to renew my entire makeup bag. Their loss.

This is ultimately a persons dream store!! Its literally bursting with make up and other things to pamper yourself with. Amazing how many different brands of make up they have in here...i love that the prices are clear so I can see them right in front of the product!! Talk about sales galore!! I didnt have to much cash but that the second time Ive been in one and was lucky to find some inexpensive affordable but really good make up!! I really think its amazing that every person working there had an amazing look. Theyre make up was absolutely perfect!! Very beautiful women and very, very nice!!

Last Saturday, around 3 I went to get my hair done and change its color. From the beginning the girl obviously didn’t know what she was doing it took her 4 and a half hours to finish my hair. I told her I wanted a hair cut and to bleach my hair to get it to a specific color. She started with the bleaching process then ended with ORANGE ending but the top did match what I wanted. Then she said I will tone it down, so in my mind I thought it was the orange part that will get toned down because logically speaking you can change the orange color and get the result that I want. Instead she went and toned down my entire hair color and it went back to it’s old color!! Then she started with the hair cut, I showed her how I wanted my hair and she still didn’t get me the hair cut that I wanted. The entire time while she was working on my hair she obviously didn’t know what the heck she was doing because she was asking everyone around her about how to do my hair, if she wasn’t qualified enough why would you have her do people’s hair?? I paid 170 for what?

Let me start this off by saying, staff, was simply AMAZING! Im proud to say that that was my first time ever in an Ulta beauty, and the experience was helpful and real. No one trying to up-sell me, no fake smiles, all helpful, I went in there for a new foundation (Im an acne prone teen) and a gentleman named Austin helped me every step of the way, he helped me find a foundation good for sensitive skin, full coverage, though it was expensive it certainly is exactly what I need. He then recommended me a product not sold at Ulta, but I bought on Amazon, and its perfect! He ALSO did my eyebrows and recommended a Benefit eyebrow pencil for natural arches, arches I didnt know existed!All in all, Austin I hope youre noticed for being helpful and not just up-selling a Multi-million dollar company and helping consumers to each their own. Single handedly why I will continue coming back!

I have been getting my brows done here for years. I have gone through 3 different ladies in the past 4 years. All were great, but they have all since stopped working here. When I tried out a new lady, who claimed to be the best brow stylist working there, she ruined my brows. After I specifically told her to please keep my brows as full as possible, she over-waxed and trimmed the tail ends of my brows. I spent years growing the tail parts of my brows out in order for them to be as full and even as the rest of my brow. I was just looking for a little clean up and trim, like I always do. But instead, she made it so that the main part of my brows are as full and bushy as usual, and the tail ends are like skinny, little lines sticking off the ends. The tail ends of my brows are nearly nonexistent now. I do NOT suggest going to this Ulta for brows. The ladies that actually know what theyre doing no longer work there. I plan on tracking one of these ladies down and finding where they now work, so that I can go back to having a high quality stylist that knows what shes doing with my brows.

The few people I spoke with were really nice and helpful. Im new at the whole makeup thing and they were nice enough to help me through the process of applying my makeup and giving me tips. The only sad part is that I bought 2 different foundations and each turned me a shade of orange. The second one even darker than the first. I read the instructions and did everything so Im really upset my first makeup experience wasnt amazing.

My husband and I went into Ulta today and the person who checked us out was named Austin (says on receipt) he was such a bright light, very kind, and I hope he somehow gets this message. The store was better than the one we usually go to. It was clean, organized nicely, and I didnt feel like I was being followed or that my space was being invaded in the store. But the best part of the trip was seeing Austin who checked us out and seeing the way he showcases products. Ill return just to see him!

I have gone there several times before and it has always been a great experience. However, this time was by far the best! My son was throwing a fit as soon as we got into the store. It was so embarrassing! There was a woman working on boxes and she immediately asked if she could help by giving him a goodie. I said yes and she went in the back and brought out a cookie for him. He was sooo happy and behaved the rest of the time. I was so incredibly grateful. I was looking forward to buying makeup and with a two year old it can be difficult sometimes shopping but she made such a big difference. I do not know her name but she did have colorful hair. I will definitely be back!

If I could give them 0 stars I would, however it is a good place to find most of the cosmetics you need in one stop.The employees were snobby&rude,straight up ignored me when I asked for help.The 1 gal assigned tohelpme although not blatantly rude,acted like she knew about the product I was trying to find when she clearly didnt at all.Thats why I went to ask someone else for help,because Id rather be told someone hasnt a clue about a product,so I can just figure it out on my own rather than have to go all the way back to the store where I was treated so rudely in the first place just to return the wrong item.I guess service with a smile only applies to people you see fit to serve. In the future Ill spend my $ elsewhere. Management clearly doesnt care about how employees behave, theyve read all the many negative reviews yet nothing changes .

They refused to return a faulty item with a 2 week old receipt. Ive spent over $500 at this store this year. Ive worked in retail for years and know how important it is to have a great return policy. It keeps customers coming back. I will never shop here again.

I felt my wife wad disrespected. Went for a return and was refused. The dark hair lady with name tag with Lead threw the product back to my wife telling het she cant return even though on the time of purchase she can return if the color is incorrect if she signed up for membership. She went to different Ulta in Portland and they returned the product. I felt the lead was racist as she treated others with respect. If you are considered as Lead should act like one.

I use to love going into this Ulta, I would spend hundreds of dollars every month and sometimes would even go in twice a week but recently in the past year or so I have gotten bad vibes from the employees. I understand retail can stink and being on your feet all day is not ideal but staring down customers, giving them nasty faces, following them around like they are thieves, and being short worded makes for not a pleasent time. I now do my Ulta shopping online and never again will I go into this location

I wanted this eye shadow pallet that was on sale. Went to order it online and it was all sold out. So I decided to call me local store which the one in Vancouver mall. I called and the lady said it was in stock and she would hold the product for me. I had asked if there were a lot in and she said yes. I said great I will be there in a hour to pick it up since it takes me an hour to get there. I show up ask for the palette and she said she thought I didnt want her to hold it since I was going to be there in an hour. They had none left I was furious. Going to be calling management even though there is nothing they can do about probably.

Disgusted that I made sure to book an appointment with a stylist and when I came in at my schedule appointment time 1:45pm. She was doing color on a different person and pushed me off to someone else with zero explanations, or apologies. So as a business you either double booked, or took a walk in appointment that you knew would take way longer and made zero effort to communicate it to me. Probably time to train your salon better, or at least get a manager to prevent this horrible customer service.

Store is a in the makeup isles. Couldnt find half the testers let alome sort through lipsticks that are thrown on the shelf. No one around to ask for help. When i did check out w my few products I was unsure of. The woman checking me out was talking to the other customers and only said things to me that were on the checkout screen. TL;DRReceived ULTA packages that werent ours. Invested the time and gas to return them to ULTA store. Manager gave an unexpected one time discount for our efforts. Superb customer service. ULTA takes care of its employees.Better details below.------Recently my wife and I had received two packages from ULTA addressed to our address, but to a different person who did not live with us. The packages were dropped off at our door, so we could not tell the carrier to take them back. I called the carrier to see if they will come and take the packages and send them to sender, and they refused citing that they delivered to address they were given (which was true). I called ULTA and explained that somebody had ordered these packages to the incorrect address, and that they werent ours, we didnt pay for them, and therefore we would like to return them. In return, ULTA had informed me that we could ask the post office to return to sender, or we could drop the unopened packages off at an ULTA store.My wife was not happy with this answer, since this wasnt our issue or mistake, why did we have to invest our time and gas to deliver the packages to someone else. Without the guarantee that an ULTA employee could swipe the packages for themselves, we had decided returning the packages to an ULTA store manager would be the most right thing to do.The manager, Anastasia W, and staff, clearly appreciated our efforts to return their products. We really werent expecting any immediate payout, but when my wife made a return of a product and bought a new product, Anastasia was kind enough to provide a small discount for our efforts. It was very unexpected and made my wifes evening. Aside from this, we really appreciated the superb customer service experience. My wife is a loyal ULTA customer, but after this, she is practically a fanatic.

I wish they had Biolage Matrix conditioning balm 37 oz. I get great deals at Regis since they do not carry this item! I would shop more if they had this item. Good store, they do have good deals! Rewards program is hit and miss. They dont honor a lot and CSR on the phone is terrible... I can say it is worth going for beauty products and makeup! Take Care!

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. First we were told they wouldnt do a color match on my 14 year old daughter for my wedding unless i was purchasing their high end brands. They only got a second star because eventually a lady whom waa dressed differently and restocking came over to assist. Then at check out my card which I just used at another store in the mall had a chip error. I asked Jessica if she could hand key my card, becauae their system would allow for the magnetic strip. Jessica said she could not. When I asked if we could try a different register. She said for me to use a different card. Chip error not decline was the error message. I cannot remember the last time I was treated so poorly by multiple employees while shopping at chain store.

So, I thought abt not writing this because Ive only ever worked in customer service jobs and know how difficupt it can be. . . But Ive been thinking about it for a week now and I would not recommend going here. If you need makeup there is a small Sephora inside JC Penny or you could always go to the Ulta across the river or elsewhere. But when I came to this store it first off smelled like a public pool and when I was making a small purchase and said no to having a rewards number the lady at the till looked at me incredulously, repeated the questions slower like I was being stupid and upon my decline on wanting a rewards membership she audibly huffed at me and stormed over to previous recipts to pick a random customer to give these measly points to and spent a good while entering a random persons info to my purchase. Sure she didnt take ages to do this but I did have to wait and IF I was in a rush it could have caused problems. There is no policy where a customer must be a member to shop at Ulta. There is no reason for her to require it. And there is certainly NO reason be mad at me for not wanting it then or at any time. I give this store 2 stars bc I know people have bad days and I did need the items. But I am certainly NOT buying for this Ulta Beauty location again.Edit: removing 1 star apon reading other reviews. Bad smell and horrible customer service seems to be a common theme not just a bad day. Fix this place up Ulta! Ive been to other locations that were nice and this particular one had me thinking of never visiting ANY Ulta ever again.

I am an employee at a different ulta in the state of Washington and was treated horribly by the sales floor manger here for something that was out of my control she verified that I was an employee by calling my store, I showed her my WorkJam app, and even offered to show my ID to prove that I WAS/AM an employee and she still wanted the money that I payed with to come out of my purse. she was snobby, rude and very unpleasant. Horrible Customer Service..Id avoid this store at all cost! I was walking through all the aisles talking to my friend on the phone trying to find a smashbox product but I was having a hard time locating it..I saw numerous employees in the store standing around talking to each other..I then went over and stood RIGHT next to an employee who was dumping out a trash can and I said to my friend It sure would be nice if an employee would help me locate something I saw out of the corner of my eye that she looked up but she kept doing what she was doing then walked away..I then went up to the check out counter to look at the little stands of travel size products (then ones they normally have by the front) and the cashier says are you ready? Hello maam are you ready? Maam are you ready to check out? I turn around and said oh you must not like being ignored? I was just ignored by one of the employees She looks at me and says oh ok sorry about that SHE DIDNT even offer to ask if I needed anything!! What the heck at that point I just left..

Literally the worse brow wax of my whole life. She butchered my brows. They look terrible and Im going to be drawing them in for months. Theyre uneven and look absolutely terrible.

Went to Vancouver Mall Ulta to get a product that it said online was in stock. When I arrived, there were only two customers in the store, including me. After a general browsing through the hair care products, I decided to ask for help. This was my first visit to Vancouver Mall Ulta. My experience at other Ultas has been that I am usually approached by more than one associate before I even have a question. I had to hunt someone down. I came upon two associates who were chatting with each other. I waited patiently and when they realized I was there, looked put out that I had interrupted their conversation. I asked my question and was led by an associate named Libby over to the travel size area. Since the travel size bottle I wanted was way too small, I asked if she had the bigger size since it said on their website that they had it in stock. She said, I have never seen it in a larger size. If we have it, I would know about it. I asked her where I would look if it was in a larger size. I was trying to narrow my search to a particular aisle. She just smirked and said, back there in the hair care. I went up and down each aisle carefully looking for it. After about ten minutes I found it. EIGHT bottles of it! To make an already long story short, they made a mistake when they rang it up, had numerous associates try to fix it, none of which could. All in all I wasted 45 minutes on a trip that should have taken 10 minutes. Nobody seems competent, and Libbys snotty attitude was the icing on the cake. This is the first time Ive had a problem at any Ulta, and Ive been to many. Avoid this one like the plague!
