The Optometrist was great. The person checking us out for frames was definitely not though. No explanation of costs or what insurance would cover. Just scratching down numbers and asking if I want this or that. I asked several times about the numbers so it was obvious that I wanted further explanation. After receiving the receipt I had to go back for an explanation of that as well. Idk if she was just in a bad mood because it was busy but I think Ill stick to buying frames from Zenni. Same price and none of the confusion.

I am a senior citizen and was looking forward to my visit with Visionworks at the Vancouver Mall in Vancouver, WA.I live in a rural, mountainous area, one hour north of Vancouver mall. When I left today I added an extra 10 minutes to my commute, just to be safe. Unfortunately, I encountered road construction that cost me quite a delay. This situation was beyond my control.I tried to call Visionworks which is a challenge while driving like a bat out of hell. When I finally reached Visionworks, I was told that If I was more than 10 minutes late, my appointment would be cancelled.When I arrived 12 minutes late, they turned me away!!! They simply would not work with me!I pleaded with the manager to please keep my appointment and her only response was, NO. They would not wait. I even offered to wait, but NO!What kind of company treats prospective customers like this? I am a senior and have great insurance, but NO!I would have been a high-end patient as I prefer fine frames and contact lenses, but no!Their manager simply would not budge.I doubt Ill ever hear any response from Visionworks as a result of my negative review. If this is the way they treat seniors, I recommend you shop elsewhere.Dont waste your valuable time on Visionworks, I mean Visionswsucks! It cost me 2 hours of driving and frustration.- So disappointed in Visionworks!

My first time going to Pacific Eye Group/Visionworks. It was a wonderful experience. I interacted with 4 or 5 employees during my visit, from the desk help, to the sales associate, to the doctors assistant and the doctor herself. They were all so helpful, attentive, educative and patient. It was just a wonderful experience. The sales associate worked hard to save me as much money as she could through my insurance. The doctor really took the time to make sure I got the best prescription possible, which I really appreciated, because so many eye doctors in the past tried to rush me through the tests. I highly recommend them and will definitely be going back for my next visit. Pay your employees more, they deserve it!

Garrett did an incredible job and went above and beyond to help me with my glasses. It was a wonderful experience and I will be returning if I ever need additional glasses.

I ordered my glasses they was to be done on the 19th I called today July 9 to change the lenses and it wasnt until after she says now they will be ready on the 23rd. Should of said that before and its still 10 days out. Not only that she was snippy and short.

I had a wonderful appointment at VisionWorks in the Vancouver Mall. The administrative staff was polite and knowledgeable, and there was hardly any wait time. Dr. Hurtubise was wonderful. The whole process was way more efficient and pleasant than most medical-office experiences Ive had in the past.

Optometrist was super nice and so was all the staff. Given the crazy times, they made it easy to get in and get what we needed. The price was very reasonable and they did a great job explaining all of our options and prices. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone who needs to get their eyes taken care of.

My visit today at Visionworks was hands down the best glasses shopping experience Ive ever had. Hannah was outstanding! She was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and super helpful. She went out of her way to help me find frames that I loved and that worked best with my face. I would highly recommend that if you are looking to get new glasses or contacts that you go to Visionworks and ask for Hannah! You wont regret it!! 5 stars!

I would give them 0 stars.I handed over my $ 415.00 frames to get new progressive lenses put in. I waited and waited then finally called them only to be told the lab somehow lost them. They couldnt even say they would reorder my frame for me which is unprofessional and ridiculous.

Shaman is amazing. Everytime I come in he knows exactly who I am. He has the best customer service of anyone I know. He is the bomb I love telling the story of when I came in and he asked how he could help me. I said I came in for an eye exam and new glasses. He called me over and looked very closely at me eyes. Then he says I have exactly what your looking for and pulled out of his drawer the most gorgeous purple glasses. He new just by looking at me that was my favorite color. This is a stellar place to get glasses! Ive gone to them twice now, and have had an amazing experience every single time. The eye exam is quick, accurate, and comfortable. Everyone at the facility is friendly. As far as frames go, if you want perfect frames for your face, go to Liz!I cant stress enough how amazing this woman is at picking the right frames for your face. I trust her so much, I dont even look at frames, I just tell her what Im looking for as far as style, and she finds the perfect fit!Overall, you can bet on a wonderful experience here!

My family and I have been happy Visionworks customers for many years. I trust them to educate us on the best styles and products. Their staff is wonderful! They have hundreds and hundreds of amazing frames and great specials. Right now, Jim is making new glasses for my 92 year-old mother!

I got my eye glasses from Visionworks early this year. Tried to order online today, but had the worse experience. 1st my payment of $956.94 went through, but they received no order. They told my to contact my flex plan card to have them refund me or dispute the payment because they couldntdon anything. I was upset and crying when their customer service person started laughing into the phone at me. Terrible website taking money from ppl and even worse customer service. Later I was contacted by a Visionworks support person who again had no follow through and basically emailed me and did nothing.I tried to dispute that payment, but found I had to wait 7 business days for the authorization to fall off unless Visionworks canceled it early. Guess what? I had to wait the full 7 business days. I took my business to Glasses USA.Shame on you Visionworks!!

Will never buy a pair of glasses from here again I came back to see if they could help me repair the glasses I got a year ago I have a speach problem and was met by a very rude old lady who responded with a sassy “pardon me “ and then asked what’s wrong with my glasses like she can’t see them broken in her hand ? She’s either blind or deaf and honestly very rude customer service also she says “if she tries fixes them she’s not responsible if they break” will tell everyone how this place truly treats there customers

I walked in to get a nose piece attached since I had a screw that fell out while I was on a flight. Hannah kindly and gently replaced both pieces free of charge. I was comfortable talking with both employees I seen and left very pleased. Will be back to do business at another time.

Very knowledgeable staff! One thing you will want to know before going though - their health exam section in the back is owned by a different company than the glasses & accessories sales section in the front. If you are having any confusion or trouble occur in communication, it may be because youre interacting with a different set of staff than prior. I got confused when discussing appts and glasses pickup simply because of this. Not a fault of the staff but something to be aware of!Sales are occurring ALL THE TIME on their frames. Speaking of frames, feel free to be specific and picky with your choices - these folks know their stock extremely well and are great with helping you find what looks best - I never felt like they were pushing me for a sale like some other places. They offer some great options on the lenses themselves, not to mention, if youre wanting it, you can get your prescription written and get your frames + lenses elsewhere.Onto the eye health half of the building :Very thorough. I highly recommend spending the extra 40 on the two extra examinations, especially if youve never had them done. All are painless, friendly doctors and assistants. They let you see the photos of the back of your eye that they take as well, very interesting. My only complaint would be the atmosphere being somewhat cold and creepy. I can see kids being spooked by the setting itself, but its certainly professional.All around, great place.

She helped my entire family get glasses In one visit and was so helpful when giving opinions and picking out glasses for us. my Son had his first eye exam so we found out he needed glasses pretty badly, that wasn’t a problem for visionworks ! I went in yesterday looking to buy a pair of glasses. Hannah was super helpful and called my insurance for me to see if they covered any costs. I found a frame I liked and she went over all the different lenses and helped me pick one that would be best for fitting the frame. I asked about the return policy as my doctor had told me I might have a prescription change in the next 3 weeks and she told me not to worry because I could return the lenses within 60 days if I had any problems. I left leaving happy and I can’t wait to get my new glasses! Thanks Hannah I’ll be back!

Great customer service and extremely friendly. Garrett and Shaman were awesome to work with on choosing and getting my new glasses. Even did an adjustment to my old pair so I can use those for dirty work, hahah. Amazing selection of glasses to choose from and also was told can pretty much order anything I would like. I ended up bringing in an old pair of sunglasses that I love and with no problems they put prescription lenses in for me. Garrett made this experience smooth and easy.

Hannah was amazing!! I needed my glasses adjusted because they kept slipping and she did that and changed my nose pieces. All the girls there were super nice and I would recommend going to that eye place in the mall!!!!

I got two pairs of glasses here almost a month ago with Liz’s help and she was absolutely wonderful!! I changed my mind on both pairs of glasses twice and even went to check out another stores options before coming back to Liz to purchase and she was kind, helpful, and patient the entire process!! My insurance also wasn’t accepted but she gave me an amazing deal on both pairs anyways! And when I came back to purchase my warranty she remembered me and offered to clean my glasses while I was there! The best customer service I’ve ever gotten and I’ll be coming back and recommending all my friends go there as well!

The variety of frames are fun, but the employees here really assist you the most. They’re so fun and knowledgeable and really want to make sure you leave with what you want and need, and don’t break your budget. I’ve gotten several pairs of glasses here over the years and have nothing negative to say. And I know the doctor is a separate entity, but Dr Stine and his office staff are kind and thorough.

I am a school staff that was trying to get a students glasses repaired. They were not repairable after all but the staff at Visionworks replaced the frames for the student at no charge. Thank you for helping this student be able to see in class. Best customer service ever!

I have enjoyed working with all the staff members in person and on the phone. Garrett was very helpful with adjusting my glasses and helping me with replacing damaged frames. I live in Montana and they allowed me to have family drop off glasses and pick them up. I couldnt be more happier with my experience when I purchased my glasses and had them repaired.

Great place! I tried to convince my wife to come and help me pick out frames, but she declined. Luckily, Liz was there to help me pick frames that fit me well and was very engaging and friendly.

I called yesterday (Monday 8/26) desperately looking for an appt because my last contact ripped and I couldn’t see & had a pounding headache. My last eye exam was 01/2018 at a totally different place so I knew I was going to need to get a whole exam done. I was offered an appt for today (Tuesday 08/27) at 11. Just as she was finishing scheduling me, one of the other people their told her he had just scheduled someone. The lady put me on hold, spoke with the doctor and told me to still come at 11 & they would work me in but it might be a little wait time. I got there & there was hardly any wait for me at all. They got me taken care of and I was able to see again! This place goes above and beyond for their customers.The not bad experience I had was:There was a lady answer the front end phones (I think her name was Lisa?) and my phone cut out and instead of giving me a moment to correct it she instantly hung up & then refused to answer the phone when I called back multiple times. I work in the medical field & you need to have patience and give people a chance to respond or fix the issue not just hang up.But my whole point is your clinical staff (the ones at the back of the store) rock!! I saw Dr. Stine & he is amazing as well & really helped me! Fitting me in was way above and beyond & he didn’t have to do it. I was so happy I could see again today!

Can only put lenses in frames you already have M-F from 9 - 3. Dont most of us work these hours? Poor customer quality service? Guess I have to take work off to get my glasses that I paid for, and lose more money. And after I drop $200+ on glasses and 2 types of lenses - they cant even find my order 2 weeks later! Why go to a chain store when private practices care more about you? Very, very disappointed. Feel like I am getting quite the run around.

Visionworks has always been by the far the best place to buy glasses from! Over Costco, Walmart or any other place I’ve been to. The Vancouver Mall location has the best and most professional employees that will help you with everything you need. Highly recommend Visionworks.

I visited VisionWorks in the Vancouver mall on 8/30/19 and they associates that help my son and I were great. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They had a large selection of styles and brands to choose from. The staff worked had to ensure we were able to get what we needed and wanted. I highly recommend this location for your eyewear needs.

Long wait time unfortunately, but decent products. I also wish that they had a better warranty. My frames broke after only two years and they only warranted them for one year. I bought the, supposedly, “unbreakable” titanium frames and they broke anyway.

Update: A year later and still amazing service from the team at this location. Amanda D was very helpful, this is my first time for glasses and she made the process so easy and she was beyond patient with me. Hannah checked me in and took all the steps needed to ensure the safety of everyone during the covid-19 pandemic. When they werent helping anyone I saw the staff cleaning and wiping everything down, including the glasses on the wall. It was nice to see they took my safety serious. I felt awful trying on so many glasses but Amanda reassured me it was ok and she didnt mind. And when I couldnt decide on one pair, she helped me get into both pairs, while staying under budget! thanks again!!!This was our first time to Visionworks and the experience Hannah gave us was exceptional. Hannah was great with my teenage daughter and helped her find a great pair of glasses all within the budget of my insurance. Not only did she work great with my daughter she made it very easy for us to understand the process of glasses and the way my insurance worked. The entire staff including the eye doctors, deserve a 5 star!

Doctor was professional and very communicative. The individuals that help you pick eye glasses were awesome had great sense of humor. I didnt like the customer service from the heavy set guy who worked the front desk for eye exam. He lacked customer/patient service. Made me feel uneasy. He seemed like he hated his job and people. Customer service especially in Doctors offices is extremely important. Im not sure Ill go back if hes there.

My daughter dropped her glasses in a parking lot. After being retrieved the next day, the were pretty dang mangled...almost a lost cause. In hopes of getting a few days use out of them while waiting for new ones, we brought them to Vision works where they were purchased from. Amanda fixed those puppies up the best she could (considering their condition, she was a miracle worker) and Hannah looked up insurance info to let us know what our coverage was. Long story short, these two ladies made my kiddos eyes happy and we left that same visit with a brand new pair. They were helpful, curteous and informative all the way around. I feel like Amanda could have been wearing an invisible cape cause she was a hero 100%!

The visionwork staff is always friendly and helpful. Shaman has always taken care of me and my family and we actually followed him from another store. He is the absolute best!

Excellent beyond words! I can see! From the moment we walked in Shaman greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile. He directed me back to Caitlyn and Neil. I had talked to Caitlyn about setting up the appointment and she took great care of me over the phone. Neil helped me in person. I had my daughter with me and he was so kind even through her hyper bounciness. He was so thorough with the initial tests and screens before I met with Dr. Stine. The doctor went over everything from top to bottom and was able to answer questions and concerns with friendly understanding. Neil and the doctor helped with extra fitting and checking the new contact lenses within the same visit to make sure they were a good fit and that they were clear. Then Liz helped me with picking out the best frames and lenses for me. She was so nice to both of us. I will definitely be back here in the future. Friendly, warm, thorough, fantastic... Just overall awesomeness from the moment we walked in til we left. Oh and extra bonus of course is that since they have an in house lab they were able to make my glasses available in only one hour. That cant be beat. I talked to Hannah when I picked up my glasses and she added to our overall excellent experience too.

This store is filled with amazing associates that are there to make it an enjoyable experience. There is an amazing selection to choose from and people to help you find what your looking for.

As insurance companies can be a pain at times, mine was but Christine didnt give up and spent the time to get my insurance straightened out. Even though it took some time, not Visionworks fault, I was assured it was being worked on and they had not forgotten about me. In my opinion, Christine went above and beyond for me. Highly recommend.

They did not tell us they were out of network for our insurance (after being told by one of their employees the day before that they were in network), then charged us each an extra $44 for our eye exams and found out my VSP Federal Emplyee Insurance wont cover glasses through them. For the past 8 years Ive only paid a $10 copay for my exam, frames upto $150 and upto $800 on lens options and I paid $55 for an eye exam and no glasses after being there for 2.5 hours! My husband and I both got ripped off! I wouldnt recommend them to your worst enemy!
