I went to Maxon Buick GMC to find out more info on a 2020 GMC Terrain and dealt with Nicholas Russo. Nick was completely transparent on everything and did not pressure me into anything I did not feel comfortable with. The next day we made a deal and was out of there with my new 2020 GMC Terrain in a couple of hours. Its a fantastic vehicle and could not be happier with it! I have been away from the area for sometime and was pleased that there is a service center in the Kenilworth/Union area. However the facility appearance leaves a lot to be desired. More importantly the service did also. I am sure that you can retrieve the associated work order to reference the specifics. Online scheduling worked great along with vehicle intake. The verbal discussion about vehicle issues beyond the planned inspection seemed unaddressed. Surprisingly, the causes of a noticeable whomping noise from wheel wells is non-detectable by visual inspection and apparently elicits no technical curiosity or suggestion for causation(s). Similarly for a loud screech that occurs intermittently from a similar location when the brake pedal is pushed. Shocking it is, that if the dealership service says doesnt find issues and documents that the vehicle is in good health and condition with these known issues...do I want them to perform the service remedy? Should I have pushed the issue to force-find the solution? Probably not the service center at this dealership. Additionally, after a 3-hr wait for inspection results a tire pressure sensor was out-of-stock and would have required at least another two hours to retrieve the part. I left the service center after 4.5 hours without answers or service to give me confidence to let my elderly mother drive her car. I know Buick is better than this! I scheduled my car for service because there was a skip. When. Arrived I was told that my device was for an oil change even though I confirmed by phone that it was for a transmission check the Saturday prior to appointment. I was told that the car can not be serviced for transmission issues and that a technician could take it out on the road but no service other that oil change could be done. I arrived before 8 and it took forever to have the oil changed. I am confused and dissatisfied with the service on my one year old vehicle.

When I entered the dealership I was properly greeted by the valet but everyone else was either on their cell phones or making a call. No one greeted me as I stood in front of the customer service window for about 5 minutes. As I proceeded to ask if I was in the right spot because no one was welcoming the rude customer service girl stated that I needed to wait for an advisor but at the time all I wanted to do was make sure that I was in the right spot. There was empty advisor seats in the only advisor that was there must have been on hold on the phone call but he didnt even look up to let me know that he would be there shortly or even acknowledge my presence. About 15 minutes later another advisor stepped from the back and greeted me and proceeded to check my car in. I can admit that he was friendly but after waiting 20 minutes and no one even acknowledging me I was already annoyed.

Purchased 3 vehicles from this facility. As always, maxon sales team is excellent. Cant say the same for service advisors. Went on an appointment 7/16/21 @ 2:30pm for my Odometer and MPH reading way off. Explained my transmission was changed and needed computer reprogrammed or recalibrated. They said not here and dont want to deal with headache. The only thing they could offer was to pull transmission apart and diagnose issue. Thank God i have common sense and immediately left to another dealership. Which by the way reprogrammed TCM and recalibrated ECU to rectify issue. Told me sorry I had to deal with Maxon buick and to reassure me not every GM dealer operates for there own personal interests and are here for the customer. Please be aware or question this dealership if theyre looking in their best interest or yours.

Avoid this place!!!We looked at a car and decided we liked it. We were dealing with Gee. Decided we wanted to get the car on Saturday, we had to jump through all kinds of hoops to get the actual price. That should have been the warning sign! Agreed on the price Saturday over the phone but we were in Virginia. Told him we would be up Monday at about 5:30 to pick up the car. He called us on Monday at 11:30 to confirm we were coming up. We told him yes and drove up from Virginia. We get there and he is too busy to really help us. He knew who we were since he called us by name.Then shows us the wrong car and finally tells us he just sold the car we had driven up to get but he has others. Classic bait and switch. We walked out. I will not buy anything from these people!

I live on Staten Is and bought our car here in 2016 and we bring the car here for service even though the S.I. dealership is closer. Why? Because when I call the S.I. dealership I always get the answering machine, during business hours, and no one has ever returned my calls. When I call Maxon a person always answers. Their customer service follow up is good too. Id rather take the 30-45 min drive here. We always take an early morning appointment so we dont have to wait long.

This was my first time at the service center getting a basic oil change, filter change and tire rotations done. Everything was painless, from driving up, having a nice rep do all the work while I sit in the car. Then going to an advisor, getting my information entered and that was it. I was able to wait in the waiting room (which was very nice). My appt was scheduled for 3pm and I was done and out of there by 3:45pm on a Monday.I was very happy with the service from start to finish. Everyone was very polite.

I put my vehicle in the service department Thursday morning at 7:35 and when I called back at 12noon to find out what was wrong with my vehicle they told me and we went back and forth over them not being able to stay on the calls with the warranty people so I just told them to please start the process of fixing my vehicle. The guy I spoke with estimated my vehicles completion time would be around 1pm Friday but when I called back nobody could tell me anything and I got no returned phone calls. Very unprofessional, very inconsiderate. Its Friday evening at 5:59 and I havent gotten any calls to let me know jack.👎🏾

Great service took my 2013 gmc terrain in for service had a problem thats 3 other mechanic shops couldnt figure out 1500 dollars later in repairs that didnt fix my problem i was told by the last big name mechanic shop I should go to the dealership which I did. The best decision ever!!!! Antony along with a few mechanics pinpointed the problem after a few hrs . Am writing this review to hopefully help someone else dealership service fee are sometimes higher then one of those big name shops but after the headache I went thru for 2month /1500 dollars in repairs that couldve waited .Next time my first stop is at Maxon Buick Gmc .thanks a million guys over at Maxon Buick gmc suv is running like new again 😀 ps: the total bill for the repair was so cheap I had them fix some other stuff .while they had the suv in the shop once again great service!!!!!

My vehicle was not repaired as stated on the original work order receipt. I paid for repairs that did not fix the issue. No rental car or loaner car was offered at any time during my vehicle being at this dealership for 7 consecutive days. Although the service MGR contacted me, apologized for the mis-diagnosis of the issue, assurance that the problem would be properly fixed at no cost to me, I was NOT given a final work order/receipt for the work performed that DID fix the problem to my vehicle. I requested a copy to be sent to my email and to this date, 3/12/21, that request has gone unanswered.

After I purchased my vehicle I took it back due to a strong stench in the truck. I spoke to Chris letting him know the issue I had. I ask to have the truck detailed and clean. I was advised that it would be. I picked up my truck two days later and all that was done was a large red cup of deodorizer was put on the driver side back seat door cup holder. I was advised to ride with the windows down on the way home because the smell of deodorizer was so strong.Fast forward I took my truck back due to between the seats and the lift gate was still dirty and something that looks like sand and straw or animal hair was never prior cleaned from the trunk. I also put multiple freshener in the truck like fabric softners sheets underneath each seat and guess what they were still there when I picked up my truck, after leaving it again overnight. When I picked up my truck the next day due the keys to my truck was not left nor was the truck pulled to the front like I was told it would be that day, they indicated the truck was detailed on the document. The gear shaft still has dust in. I didnt even have the truck long enough to accumulate dust nor dirt.Im so disappointed in the way I was given the vehicle not once but twice.
