My wife and I just purchased a used Volkswagen Beetle recently and brought it here for general maintenance and inspection. The accommodations are clean, nice, and very comfortable. There is even a mini movie theater. An appointment maybe preferred vs our walkin because it can get very, but our services were completed within a couple hours as we discussed.

Dee Holness was very pleasant to work with. He made sure I had weighed all my options and went above the standard level of service to check on other stock. Dee is a true young professional and I highly recommend new customers experience the same service through him.

The 2 salesmen that we worked with were great! They didn’t push anything on us and showed us every option we were looking for. Answered all questions very straight forward. They were super nice! Would definitely shop there again!

Update- My initial experience was great. Dee was my salesman. I stopped by just to view some cars to see what they offered, because I wasn’t familiar with the lineup. With the salesman’s help, I was able to find a nice little vehicle. I picked the car up on Monday around 5:45 pm. I was pleased with my purchase until the very next day when I had a flat tire. The next morning I called the service department to see what options I had since this happened within 24 hours of having the vehicle. I was told the tire warranty wasn’t included with my car purchase and the associate transferred me to someone who could possibly assist me. I left a message, my call has not been returned. That afternoon I stopped by the service department to discuss my options. I was asked to bring the vehicle in so they could get the tire size and width. I returned to the dealership and was later informed that they do not carry my tires and do not have any in stock but I could order it. I was told although I had only had the vehicle 1 full day it was nothing they could do. I was also told in the future if I need tires for my car, I would have to call and schedule in advance to ensure they have the tires for my vehicle. As a new customer and for only having the car for one day I expected to receive better service and care. Having a flat tire the first day after taking your car home is already an inconvenience and with Heritage Volkswagen not working with me nor having my tires in stock has caused unnecessary stress and regret with the car purchase. Please do better with keeping tires in stock for the cars you sale and take better care of your customers.

Terrible Terrible vw dealership to do business with. Dropped off my car for ck engine light on and 2 months later and almost 1300.00 dollars car still has ck engine light on for the same problem. Very incompetent service deptpartment. Do not let this dealership work on your car unless your want to be ripped off.

This review is strictly based on the level of customer service that I have received from the manager Steve Rotenstein. He has a terrible attitude and absolutely does not care about the customers. I drove over an hour away passing up two Volkswagen dealerships to come to Heritage Volkswagen of Union city so that I can buy a car. I purchased my car went home and realize that my emergency roadside assistance kit and first aid kit that should’ve come with the car we’re not in there. I drove back to the dealership over an hour away again, two days later to ask for the kids that should’ve come with the car. I spoke to Steve who told me with a very straight face that I need to purchase it if it wasn’t in the car. After explaining to him that on my test drive I was told that the car comes with the kit and I saw the kid in the vehicle on my test drive. He did not care about the fact that the car I just purchased from them was brand new and that I just drove over an hour to come and try to get that kit from them. He had no remorse, looked at me straight in my face and said you’re gonna have to purchase one if you would want one and refused to give me one of the other ones that they had after I pointed out to him that there was an emergency kit and a first aid kit sitting inside of one of the display cars in the show room and asked for him to accommodate me by giving me that one. He refused. He is very rude and absolutely does not care about his customers, turned me away unhappy. If I did not love the car as much as I did I would have returned it and canceled my contract just because of that. Unfortunately no other Volkswagen dealership in the state has my car. I will honestly return the car just for this very reason and buy a different one somewhere else because of the way that Steve made me feel when I left.

I love the customer service that I was given when I came in and purchased my new car recently. Corley was amazing and very informative on everything I needed to know as far the details of each car I inquired about on my first and second visit. He most defiantly helped me with everything I needed when I was purchasing my car. The only thing I wish the finance department would have informed me on was the correct amount for my car note. I was told a range of $495-$515 and I was told my credit was ran and everything came back great but once I talked to a person in finance the price shot up to $690-$700 dollars. I wish I would have been informed of this from the initial start of me signing the beginning paper work because I would have planned for it. On the other hand the staff is very patience and understanding but the finical department could be a bit better.

The service department has had my moms car for over a month. They still havent told her whats wrong with it. They did some work on it already and didnt tell her the price until I came in and asked about it. We still dont know when the car will be ready. Since we went up there yesterday they switched mechanics to speed up the process. It shouldnt have taken me coming up there to get them to move faster. You dont handle people like that. Just because shes older and a woman doesnt mean you treat her any differently than the next man. The only positive I can say is one of the reps said he would give her a discount for wasting her time. You never know who you are serving and what they are capable of doing! Treat everyone right and if you cant do the job be honest and let the customer know instead of holding on to their car forever until other family members get involved. You want me to write a positive review... then get your stuff together.

Beware! Please dont bother to deal with these kind of people if youre black! I was trading in my vehicle in to this dealership. They were so un-professional...the salesman was arguing back and forward with my mother. They stereo typed me and my family and wouldnt let us test drive by ourselves. The salesman had to ride with us as if we were going to take the car. After test drive they reviewed price sheet with me and I found that they added an extra 15,000 to the list price. After the salesman finished arguing with my mother he told me to just go to Car Max for a trade in and that they didnt want my trade in just my money. So the very next day I went to another Volkswagen dealership in Marietta and got the same car for way less on a trade in. 2022 Volkswagen Taos brand New! So Thank you Volkswagen Marietta that sold me a wonderful car! Avoid the Union City Volkswagen... they will stereo type you and rip you off!

Absolutely terrible, worst experience ever there!!!! Second worst experience and I shouldve gone with my gut to avoid this second one. However, had my car towes in, was told it would take 24-48 good for diagnostic, ok. Told me on this day what was wrong, I said ok, fix it. Told me on Friday it was ready. Picked up vehicle at 5pm, got in, turned to ac on only for it to blow got 5 air. Mind you, this was not one of the reasons for bringing it in. AC worked before. but ok, its the weekend the weather is cooling down, Ill bring it back in on Monday. Well as im driving home, the tire pressure light comes on, what, then battery light comes on, the initially train for bringing car in. Ok, I make a stop, and realize the power steering isnt working again, another reason I brought it in. Ok, well let me make one more stop before I take this car home. After stop, I get back into car for it not to start at all. Again, another reason I took it to the shop. So now here I am 45 minutes after leaving the dealership to be stranded and having to call a tow truck to go back to the dealership for everything I initially took it in for. WTH, was done to my car the week it was in dealership and why didnt anyone did it to make sure everything was done properly. Ill definitely be going somewhere else after this debacle.

Terrible service department. My friend had an 3pm schedule oil change, and to have 4 new tires put on the car. 5 hours later, he did not get a call to pick his car up. He called and the service department had left for the day and he was asked if he needed his car tonight! He said yes and someone met him at the dealership to release his car. This dealerships service department has to do better. I have advised him to go someplace else, especially when you are paying your hard earned money.

Prepare to spend some time handling paper work just like any other car dealerships. I took my car in for repairs and purchasing. I dealt with Mark and he was extremely patient. I asked a lot of questions to which he answered as best as he could. I gave a 4 because of the exorbitant fees that almost double the buy out price of the car. For the service, definitely a 5. Everyone I dealt with, from the reception to the Miracle Man had me laughing. We all need some laughter in this strange trying times.

I hope you are safe and well. I would like to be contacted by the manager or head of sales as soon as possible. I have been a Volkswagen Union City customer since 2013. Since 2013, I have purchased a 2008 Volkswagon green Beetle and have only been to this location for services up until recently. I am very upset. I came into your dealership on Saturday July 31st, 2021 to sale back my 2008 Beetle. I signed all the appropriate documents, gave my title, etc. I did everything on my end that was asked. I informed the sales person that I was selling my Beetle due to me living in Dubai and informed him I was leaving the next day August 1st. On Thursday August 5th, I get an urgent email from the same sales person informing me that my title is an older version and that I need a newer version in order to receive my check. Again, I AM IN DUBAI. Therefore, I was then informed by the sales person (after having to speak with accounting) that I need to get a POA for my mom or step dad to put the title in their name. I am BEYOND frustrated at this point. In Dubai, it cost 300USD to get a POA not including the shipping that it will cost. I need someone to contact me so we can resolve this issue. I should not have to pay all of this money for a careless mistake. Then I am being informed by my parents after speaking with the sales person that I didnt sign in some places that I should have after he checked that everything was good to go. At this point, I wish I would have taken by business elsewhere. As a customer since 2013, I do not deserve this last experience and I honestly never want to do business with Volkswagon again.

Hi my name i Darwin I purchased a 2021 Volkswagen jetta R line about 3 months ago and my check engine light came on and let me advise you the car only has 6000 miles on it and I took it to the dealership to see what is wrong with it they told me that it is my engine vale and they told me to keep on driving it to the party come in with my check engine light still on. Should not have to drive a new car with the check engine light on this is ridiculous

Today I drove to Heritage Volkswagen for two recalls. It was easy to make an appointment and the service was very good. However, given that I spent two hours of my own valuable time at the dealership for these recalls (not repairs!!!) it WOULD HAVE BEEN a nice gesture to wash the car and vacuum the interior prior to returning the car.
