To preface, we didnt end up buying anything from Sam Levitz, but we did get a tremendous amount of help from James Hessler. He was outstanding to work with and went the extra mile for us when he didnt need to. If you go in to their 36th st location, make sure to ask for him.

Great with sales, but delivery schedule is totally useless. They gave me three different dates. Three different time periods. Who can be home three days in a week? I rearranged my schedule, they changed it. I asked to change the ship time (text said Wednesday, call said Tuesday before noon). Im waiting and now have to leave and they said they are going to charge me for a time change. Im done.

I brought a bed here and they came to set it up and didn’t use any screws and my bed keep breaking I called them and they came out and had someone take pictures so they can order the parts ( parts takes 3-4 weeks they say ) and schedule another date for a tech to come fix it, when he came he couldn’t fix it he told me he didn’t have the screws and that I should of received them in the mail this all happen oct 2, 2021 i been calling ever since so my bed can be fixed correctly and they keep saying someone will call me so I can schedule an tech to come out but no one ever calls me this is my 4th time calling …… keep in mind I had this bed since beginning august

Where do I start…let’s start at me spending over $7000.00 (paid off completely not financed) on 2 rooms of furniture only to be told that the the original leather power reclining sofa set was no longer being manufactured AFTER I purchased it and then was told I could purchase the floor model at a significant discount only to find out the discount was less than $150…AND then to find it was no longer available for sale!! Let’s say it’s been nothing but a nightmare with this store!!! I was then informed that 1/2 of my original order of a complete bedroom group was in back order (which I understood at the time) until mid October (original purchase made in August. So I called today to see (mid October being now) when it will be delivered only to hear it is now pushed back to late November!!!! I should have got a full refund and moved along to give my over $8000 purchase refunded …yes because I went back and purchased over $1000 worth of MORE furniture, BIG MISTAKE!!!! The customer service is deplorable!!! I will NEVER recommend this store to anyone not even my worst enemy!!!! I’ve had enough of this!!!

Edwin is an amazing sales person!!! As soon as I walked in he was quick to greet me knowing they closed 20 minutes, he was patient and follow up throughout the warehouse. He is still very new but every question I had he was able to have an answer. Another gentleman helped him out as well. Unfortunately I did not catch his name, but both were great! My bf and I left with everything we needed and even accommodate 2 separate deliveries so we could get our purchases when needed. Unfortunately they do have few things on backorder so if youre looking for something fast dont be RUDE!! We are still in a pandemic!!! Keep up the great work!!! These are the people who you need to make your team great.

Sam Levitz is a joke. The sales staff are suppose to contact their customers on a weekly basis to update us on the order and they don’t. Communication between the sales location and the delivery/warehouse location is terrible. Sales managers say one thing and the delivery managers say another. The company has no true care for their customers and the hardship they put them in when deliveries are cancelled on a regular basis for a multitude of reasons that predominantly come back to the company being terrible at their job. Don’t expect to find out your expected delivery is not coming until after or towards the end of your expected delivery window. If you have a choice to shop elsewhere I recommend that you do. I’ve requested numerous phone calls from multiple levels of management and they have only responded once. This company is all about getting your initial money upfront and not caring about you after that. I would not recommend this company for any friends or family much less folks on the internet.

Online ordering from Sam Levitz is a nightmare. I ordered a desk, and I was told someone would reach out to schedule my pickup. No one did so I went in store today to see what was going on and they said the item I purchased was back ordered through JANUARY. That would’ve been nice to know when I was ordering online… nowhere did it say that was the case on the website.

We purchased a bedroom set and a dining room table. The sales person who helped us was fast and got us through the process easily. We didnt finance so maybe that helped in time spend. Some of our order was not in house and would be delivered later. We received our first few items within a few days. The bed frame came about a week later. The delivery men were incredibly helpful and friendly. Today was our last piece to be delivered. Both Haper and Chris our last delivery drivers, were exceptional. Also all the other deliver people did an amazing job. We did purchase the deliver, set up and 5 year protection plan. Very satisfied with our experience with Sam levitz and all the staff, from sales, office staff and delivery. Would shop here first for any furniture needs.

Ugh, where do I begin.Purchased two bedroom sets and two mattresses and couches in April. Bedroom dressers came damaged because the delivery guys pretty much just threw everything. Then they left all the boxes outside in our front yard. We had just barely moved in. We didnt see it till after they left. We thought they would have taken it with them to dispose of.Then we were told the mattresses would arrive in two weeks to a month. Its July, its been 4 months. No word from Sam Levits. They havent called to offer any compensation or even to offer something that they may have available. My kids are still sleeping on air mattresses.And they have the nerve to still charge for purchases we have yet to receive.I dont know whos running this place but the other stores are run much better. I shouldve gone to one of them like I usually do. Because this has been horrible.

I recently visited Sam Levits to purchase a dresser drawer set. I was greeted by Luz, her customer service was impeccable. She took her time made sure we were fully taken care of all while never being pushy. I would definitely recommend her sir any of your home sales needs. She has five star customer service skills and truly understands her customers needs. Thank you for all of your help it truly was an amazing experience. Needless to say that I will be returning within the next two weeks to purchase beds and a China cabinet. She is what we as customers look for in a sales representative.

I purchased a mattress a couple months ago and the service was decent. Was told for purchasing the mattress I could come back and purchase anything and get 300 off. Came back to purchase a bed frame and was told no 300 off. Was misunderstood. Okay... fine. Still bought a frame. It’s been over 2 months and frame still hasn’t come in. I asked for a refund 6 days ago and was told they had to mail my refund. Called today to follow up on the refund and they tried to say I purchased it two separate ways and she doesn’t know what the status is or if it was even mailed out. So.. I paid nearly 600 for just a bed frame and wasn’t given merchandise or my refund. Very disappointed. They treated me like oh well and that it basically wasn’t a big deal. Clearly they are just trying to keep my money.

Customer service Luz is amazing. She was patient, knowledgeable, no pressure to buy and with your interests in mind. Resourceful and efficient. The store was clean, organized and welcoming. I was in looking to replace our pitiful couch, now that the kids are gone. A lovely associate named Lorraine greeted us at the door and helped us find exactly what we wanted, at a great discount I might add! Having saved a bit on the couch, I inquired about a new mattress. Lorraine was very knowledgeable about their selection and impressed me so much that now Im getting a new bed, with all the bells and whistles included!Her supervisor was very friendly and they both made me feel so comfortable, no pressure, no rush, just an easy dou to do business with.Ill definitely be back!

If I could rate less than a 1 star I would. Its now September and I canceled an order from May due to them not delivering on their promises. Ill start off by saying the only positive experience I had with Sam levitz was my second sales associate named Debbie and her manager. Everyone else associated with this company made it obvious they didnt care about my business.I ordered a sectional in May for an estimated delivery of early July. It got pushed back and back until they told me mid October in mid August. While I was debating my options I had my first sales associate try to talk me into keeping the order by telling me there really isnt any other furniture stores in the area which sealed the deal I would not be doing business with him. I went to another store and changed my order to a couch they had in stock and a recliner that was coming within the next week. Scheduled the delivery and I thought at least I would have something. Delivery driver ended up showing up to my house early (before their scheduled delivery time) 6 minutes after they gave me their 30 minutes till delivery courtesy call. The driver left and I called their distribution center who promptly told me they would send the driver back out. I got to my house and waited over 2 hours. I ended up calling to check on things shortly after the 2 hour mark to find out some manager over the delivery drivers decided that the delivery crew wasnt going to come back out. They never bothered to call me to update. When I called and spoke to the sales manager he understood and tried to get the delivery for me the next day which the distribution center refused to do. I canceled the order on the spot. The customer service of this business is abysmal. Im at a point where Id rather go buy a futon from Walmart than deal with them again.

My mom placed an order in person to have it delivered. On Wednesday when the delivery day came she we got a call that the delivery was moved to Friday. Yet they came Wednesday and delivered the bed frame with no mattress, said mattress will be delivered Friday. Well Friday came and we called to check on it and they had no delivery scheduled for us and we didnt receive a call text or anything. What are we supposed to do with a bed frame with no mattress????

There is a very rude/loud lady called ‘Karen’ who is unprofessional at all. She literally made my experience at this place the worst that anyone can have. She likes to argue and makes things super complicated.This store treated me the best at the beginning (pre-sale), but the (post-sale) service is awful. So, if you discovered that something was damaged, and you call/visit the store, don’t expect much. I spent literally 5 hours to get some help for a damaged piece. They were willing to help me after all this wait and they took the damaged piece. Then, they had ‘Karen’ followed me to my car to ask me to come back to pick it up so we’re back to circle one. I feel so stressed because I was never treated like that in my whole life.

Want to start off by saying the furniture is great, but this store is being marked a 1 due to customer service.Ordered over $5000 of furniture from this store and was scheduled to be delivered on a Friday. Was notified on Thursday that they were delivering the furniture on Saturday. We called and spoke with an individual in the delivery dept. and they were able to get it moved back to Friday like our paperwork says and to call the next day to get an ETA.Friday comes and we call to get an ETA. Am told it is scheduled between 10am-2pm. At 1:57pm we call to get an update as to what happened because things happen. We are told it is scheduled to get delivered between 2pm-6pm and who ever told me it was supposed to be there before was wrong. 5pm comes and our furniture arrives, but we are missing a piece of furniture that was never put on the truck nor on their list to bring. So we call and ask if they can bring it out to which we are told that all the trucks are full and they can bring out on Saturday. To which we tell them Saturday is a no go and can they do Sunday. They say they will schedule it for Sunday and would call us back to get a time. (Never received a call)Since we never received a call we called Saturday morning trying to get an ETA for Sunday. We are then told that its already on a truck being delivered. At this point we are getting really upset because we told them we cant have it delivered Saturday because we wont be home. So again they say they can deliver it on Sunday and to call after 8 am to get an ETA as to when it would be delivered on one of their same day trucks.We call Sunday morning to get an ETA and are told that our piece of furniture is put back in storage and is rescheduled to be delivered on Monday now. (What the ****) We ask to speak to a manager (Alex R.) and explained what had happened and that we would like our furniture to be delivered today like it was supposed to be. To which he responds Im sorry, but the trucks are put on their routes and you are scheduled for Monday. We explain yet again that this piece should of been delivered on Friday and that this is ridiculous that we cant get our stuff when we are supposed to or when you guys say its supposed to be here on different days. Again he (Alex R.) says that You are scheduled for Monday which shows he does nothing nor cares to rectify the issue.Sad part is we planned to buy more furniture from here after we had already made over a $5000 order, but after this I have doubts and Ill be sure to warn my military personnel of issues they may face here as well.

I recently contacted their online customer service team in order to purchase a new mattress. They couldnt tell me the dimensions of the box that it would come in despite the fact that it was in stock at their store. I went ahead and placed the order anyways and was sent an email receipt that had an address of one of their locations in it. I drove from Tempe to Tucson because the price was a pretty good deal, but they didnt have the mattress when I arrived there. Instead, they told me to go back to the customer service desk which sent me to the warehouse, which sent me back to customer service. Overall, I wasted quite a bit of time because they couldnt figure out how to send me the correct address where the mattress would be in stock. I decided to cancel my order and purchase elsewhere.

I typed a scathing review before they had a chance to make it up to me thinking there’s no way they would. They definitely did though, by assembling my piece that I had expected to assemble. I feel like Im doing potential unfortunate customers a dishonesty by giving you guys 1 star, of course your sales team is going to be top tier because you want everyones money . But after that ! Forget it, its got to be the worst customer service Ive ever encountered, like seriously your delivery department is horrible . The manager should probably be reconsidered because she had solution skills of a kindergartner. If I spend money somewhere I expect good quality service at the LEAST . I didnt receive that here, to Anyone looking to purchase anything here I recommend going else where so you actually feel appreciated . Update 5/27/21 - Delivery was perfect! Sadly, within my 48 hour window I decided the headboard I selected was not going to work. I am a sunshine gal and the fact that it literally blocked one of my bedroom windows was no bueno. Called customer service, credit issued and went in a few days later and bought new bedroom furniture, an office desk and an chair chair. My salesman Paul is helping me find a new headboard and sending pictures of the slots to make sure it works with my headboard bracket and...and...I just received a text from Kathy with an update on when my chair will be arriving. First class service once again! Way to go Sam Levitz!OP - Talked with Kathy to schedule an in store appointment. She set me up same day with Paul for my salesman. He was very kind, professional and above all didnt try to upsell me. He was also very patient with all of the questions I had. Bought new sleigh bed, mattress, adjustable base and the sheet package. The sales part went very well. Now I have to wait for delivery to see if it goes well. Will update the delivery team services when they are done. If you want a laid back, no pressure guy, ask for Paul.

Ian and Rick from the Palo Verde location in Tucson were excellent! Very personable and attentive to our needs. Not once did we feel like they were trying to oversell us, and they were very helpful. I will never even think of going to this place for anything again. I wish I could give this zero stars, but one is lowest that is allowed.I ordered a bed and was told it would be delivered by 12/27/20. That didn’t happen. So, I was then told it would be delivered in March, then July, and the unknown. I canceled the order and wanted a refund. I was told I would receive a refund within a few days: I waited but nothing happened. I called back to find that it was not refunded. I was again told I would be refunded. Again, this did not happen. I have now made three attempts to get a refund and they will not even process it. The order was confirmed to have been canceled, but on my last call I was told that they could not process the refund, even though I would not be receiving the order.This is theft, so all I can do is leave a review and make the report to law enforcement, both of which have been done. Perhaps others will have better luck.

I had the worst experience at Sam Levitz on Prince. The dock workers made fun of my speech impediment. Also made me wait nearly an hour for my small item. Before that, a salesman followed me around kept asking me questions when I was clearly having speech difficulties. I had to wait and wait and wait for a small piece of furniture. I walked around the showroom and every single salesperson asked me if I needed help and when I said no they kept asking questions. Finally I was able to look around in peace. At one point I had walked past congregating salespeople and heard one of them say, sufferin succotash because my speech impediment makes me sound like Sylvester the Cat. I am appalled by this incredibly immature behavior. I have returned the item, but have not been refunded as of yet despite my many requests. I believe this is in retaliation for mentioning the poor treatment I had experienced. I didnt deserve it.*edit to addOnly one salesperson treated me kindly and gave me my space. Thank you to the African American man who knows how to treat people with respect.**finally received a refund and an apology. Never too late to apologize**

We found the perfect couch, but due to the lack of service or assistance offered, we decided to take our business elsewhere. Tom Birmingham is a great customer service salesman. My husband came into the warehouse angry and yelling at Tom, and we had never dealt with Tom before so the yelling was not fair to him. But Tom showed compassion and empathy nevertheless. He is a great asset to Sam Levitz and the customers. I wish Tom Birmingham all the success in the world.

Mary and Paul helped me most recently....I was very thankful for the help I received. Mary has helped me with a few sales and always lead me to the best deals, helpful and friendly, she really worked hard for me. I would recommend Mary to anyone I know. Paul also went above and beyond to take care of me, he definitely deserves a thank you! I have also worked with Aaron in the past, and was very happy with the service I received from him. Overall I really like Sam Levitz, you can always find something to fit what you are looking for, and they have good credit options. I cant say I havent had any issues at all but they help me to take care of all of them. Overall I will give them a 5 Star review!

Awful awful delivery and customer service! We bought a new bed in May and was told we would have it by Mid June. We got a call we would have a delivery the end of June. They call us the day on delivery and say our mattress is ripped and they have to order another one. Now they have no idea when that will come in. We are sleeping on the floor without a damn bed!

I wouldn’t even rate a one star. We bought this mattress with our bedroom set. We bought a new home to enjoy filling this home with new furniture. Very very disappointed in the mattress. They sent two different mattress inspectors, and both stated it was sagging. Sam Levitz will NOT exchange or return our money, and will not make this right. You would think after after spending close to 10,000 with this furniture company, a defective mattress wouldn’t be an issue.Because of this minor issue, our family, friends, and their friends are surprised as well.Question will always remain......why?I wouldn’t buy into the warranty plan, it’s a racket.

The delivery experience was horrible. My wife and I were told the window for delivery would be 1-5PM when we bought the item. Then, we were not warned 48 hours in advance of our delivery time, as were supposed to be and were told we would be. Without hearing from them, we worked under the mindset that 1-5 was still good-to-go. I then got a call about an hour before arrival of the item. The arrival time was, of course, in a different window (9-12) of what we anticipated. I called to explain this would not work. I was on hold for about 15-20 minutes (maybe more), I was told there was no solution other than to reschedule a whole new day. My wife and I had to adjust our schedules to then make the delivery work out. We were not happy about this last minute adjustment and what seemed to be a bait and switch on timing delivery. The sales price on the item was nice, but this delivery experience messed it all up. Sorry sam levitz, but you need to work at keeping the customer happy even after you have our money.

Very bad miscommunication on Sam Levitz part. I received an email confirmation about 3days prior to delivery date regarding delivery hour time window. Delivery was somewhere between 11am to 3pm. No problem, there was a confirmation button within the email to confirm. I confirmed time slot within the email. The day of delivery I get an automated phone call at 7:30 am that says my delivery will arrive within the hour and to call thier delivery dept with questions or concerns. So I call but wasnt able to speak with a live representative because they were closed. Delivery was not what I confirmed. So I had to leave work with no coverage and miss nearly 4 hours of work because of Sam Levitz miscommunication.Please dont provide your delivery dept phone if customers are unable to reach someone especially when its your fault .So I get home as soon as possible and no delivery came within the hour as the automated phone call stated.If Sam Levitz are going to decide whatever time they want to deliver, dont send confirmation emails out or when the furniture is purchased dont ask what date and time is convenient if you all are not going to listen. Came in to view an item listed online. I had no issues finding the floor model, did not experience pushy salespeople but there were plenty available if needed. This is a large warehouse showroom with a massive selection of furniture.The online purchase went smoothly and delivery was as expected. Fully assembled furniture was received undamaged, and promptly.

The warehouse has a nice variety of furniture for you to look at. Definitely fair prices. And there was always a person of the staff there to help you. It felt a little too crowded, definitely felt a little bit uncomfortable because of the pandemic, its hard to keep your distance from other people. Make sure to bring your mask and hand sanitizer. The overall experience was good.

I am only giving them one star because there is no option for zero stars. Three years ago, I went around and around for 4 months with Levitz because the bed they delivered had defective under bed drawers. After 5 trips to our home with a succession of equally defective beds for a variety of reasons (which I started inspecting on the street and not even letting into our home because it was such a waste of my time), we finally cancelled that order and got a bed with no drawers, which was a huge disappointment. When we realized that the new bed required a different kind of box spring, we were told it was too late for an exchange and they didnt even offer us a discount. It wasnt my fault that they didnt deliver the goods theyd sold us and that it took 4 months to rectify the situation. I refused to give them another dollar and we didnt purchase it from them. Well, here we are, 3 years later and my mother-in-law ordered from Levitz without realizing theyre the company that we had such difficulties with. The delivery drivers showed up without essential parts of her order, the wrong screws, and then kept asking her for tools. My husband has been on the phone with Levitz all afternoon and has been passed to at least 5 people and transferred to other stores. This was supposed to be a big surprise for her grandkids on Sunday, and its a huge disappointment. Save your sanity, buy elsewhere!

Very good. Went in for a love seat sofa but couldnt resist the 30 month interest free loan. Ended up getting a couch, chair, two end tables, and a coffee table. This was yesterday and I and the wife are still tickled about it. The folks at Sam Levitz are low pressure and know their stuff. We are so glad we went.

Worst service ever, I order 2 super expensive desks for my office, I hired all kind o labor for that day they were getting delivered( assembling people, internet, cameras etc) The store hire outside delivering which these guys not only rude but didnt have an idea what they were delivering. They delivered the wrong desks. I had to go to a store and waited over 2 hrs and they didnt help, I went next day and I finally got them but I had to transport them to my office and since I had paid over 300 dlls on labor on an external company and at the end of the day I lost it and no one could help me to remedy the mess they did so please be careful with this store, ALL OF THEM ALL LOCATIONS. MAKE SURE YOU DONT GO THRU THIS NEVER!

I bought a sofa and a love seat from this Sam Levitz but don’t recommend this store because of dishonest sale practices. Before deciding to buy the items, I went twice and each time asked about the price of two items that I was interested in because Black Friday was approaching and I wanted to know if I should just wait for the items to be discounted. Both of the times I asked whether they would honor any discounts or sales from Black Friday if I bought the items before Black Friday. On both occasions and from two different sale employees, they confirmed to me that the store would honor the sales/discount price. So I decided to buy the sofa and loveseat before Black Friday. On Black Friday, I went to the store and the items were 10% off, and I asked a sales person that if I had bought the items before would refund me the 10% off, she answered that yes that I just needed to go to the cashier or customer service. When I went to the cashier and asked for the discount be returned to me, the employee had me speak with a manager. When I finally spoke with the manager, he said that they would not honor the promise. The manager said that they were not going to refund me the money because the items were not on a discount. Then he handed me a small pink paper that supposedly explained why I couldn’t get the 10% returned to me. I explained to him that I had not been given this paper in my other visits, and that on two different occasions before I bought the merchandise and even on that day I had been told again that I would get the 10% off if I had bought the items earlier. He still would not honor the promise that three different employees said to me on different three days.

Ordered the below set. The pit was assembled wrong cant use it. The sectional one side is bent and wobbles the other one is missing a leg. after much work on my end, I got Sam L to send or should have sent a replacement sectional and well the pit is on back order for a month. They came after 2 weeks with 1 part of the sectional only! took the pit and one of my pillows (4 now not 5) and left the mess. So I now have a broken sectional, 4 pillows and a missing pit. Right now there is no resolution! I bought this on 9.28.20

Terrible customer service after the sale. The delivery and installation was below par. When we found a problem it was impossible to get a hold of someone to fix our issue. We were going to go back to buy new sofas, but after this well look elsewhere. Disappointed.Update: we ordered in January, were told receive in 3 weeks, didnt get till 2 months later. Came defective. Weve had repairmen come out 3 times. First guy was clueless, 2nd guy came with no parts. Same 2nd guy came a third time, with a light bulb instead of a control module. It is July now, beyond rediculous. Beware of doing business with them!

I know it is a pandemic, but you can still have customer service. Paid for first week of October because we knew it would be a while, mid February and still waiting on a few pieces of furniture due to mis ordering. Biggest complaint is total LACK of customer service. Hours spent on hold being transferred around and finally hung up on. Messages left without return calls even with leaving them with live operators.

The buying process with Rene was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and patient. I am very glad he was the one who helped us! I highly recommend Rene.The reason we gave 4/5 stars was due to a delivery error. We received a delivery notification for tuesday 10-2. We waited 10-2 and still had no furniture and no word from the delivery team. When I called, they said they didn’t have anything scheduled for us that day. I called Rene’s supervisor and she said she would look into it and call me back. I did not hear back from her. So I called Rene a couple hours later and he said he would call me back that night. He called me back when he had the time at 6:30pm. Our issue was resolved and the furniture was all delivered friday morning. However, It was extremely frustrating that we spent 10am-6:30pm waiting for Sam Levitz, and then had to wait three more days for our furniture. I am very appreciative they found a way to get it all to us friday morning nonetheless.One other issue we had was that one of the delivery guys did not wear a mask. He was in our home and it was highly unsafe and inappropriate.

Drinks also snacks.loading wasnt as nice..through our chair in truck.sent us wrong stuff a week later.also recliner that we bought that day.got it home and didnt work still sitting here.a week later.not able to use bed laying against wall. And didnt bring the sheets I payed for $39 a piece for so pretty much. Cant sleep in bed.oh they took my old bed.so $1500 and Im have to sleep on couch.im thinking they need to give us a discount
