Came into the store to have someone help us with our phone. Downloading from an android to an iPhone. Rob waited on us, and he was awesome!! He reassured us we would get our phones up and running, waited there with us for everything to download, just was a real super nice guy and knowledgeable. We will now make this Verizon store our place to go for any new purchases or help!!

Staff was friendly and helpful, from what I overheard while waiting my turn they all seemed very knowledgeable about the products and well trained on their sales pitches. They do not have a kiosk to check in so I had to wait for somebody to check me in to get in line. The store was busy, wait time was 20-30 minutes, but I did not feel ignored or unwelcome at all.

Why is it that some stores for answer your questions, where are some stores just take your money dont have time to answer your question. You got to go way out to get great service. Can I give zero stars? Was going to sell a new phone without mentioning that old lost phone was insured. Also texted to say youre up next to be served, when they knew phone was lost. How did they expect the text to be received on a lost phone? When I mentioned it, the rep said, thats how we communicate with people and that was after I told them he just got out of hospital and would they please come out to the car to talk to him. They could have looked up his account, saw he had insurance, come to car just outside the door and told him, good news your lost phone was insured. But nooo, we dont do that So had to come in and listen to a sales pitch, until I asked if it was insured. Then the sales pitch ended quick.

One of the worst customer service experiences I have had so far. My girlfriend and I went in to upgrade our phones and get apple watches. While in the store, the representative had nothing but issues getting us set up with the new phones and watches and rushed us out the door without even opening the packages to see if the phones or watches would work and connect to the service.When I got home I found that my phone would not connect to service at all. This resulted in not being able to transfer any of my information from a previous back up and also wouldnt allow me to activate the phone since it had no service. I spent roughly an hour and a half on the phone with apple support trying to fix this issue and found that it was not a problem with the phone but rather a problem with the service provider.The following day I went back into the Verizon store where I spent roughly 2 hours with the service reps who told me the reason I didnt have service was because my activation was linked to an order that was still processing. Without my knowledge, I was upgraded from the Unlimited Plan to the Play Plan and because this order was pending my phone would not activate. The representatives in the store proceeded to put my old SIM card back into my new phone which solved the issue for roughly 3 days until I lost service again.This time I went back into the same store and talked with the gentleman who originally took care of us when we first upgraded the phones. When I explained to him everything that happened and what was going on, he replied with There is nothing I can do for you here, youll just have to wait it out. He once again rushed me out the door without even attempting to help me.Once arriving back home, I used my girlfriends phone to call Verizon Support where I spend 30 minutes on hold and talking to a representative that was able to fix the issue. All she had to do was tell me to put the original SIM card that came with the phone back in and then turn the phone off while she activated the new SIM. Once I turned my phone back on I had service within 5 minutes.I spent roughly 7 hours this week talking to Verizon Support and in store Verizon Reps trying to fix this issue. All of this could have been avoided if the gentleman who originally helped us with our upgrade would have just taken the time to unbox our products and make sure that everything went smoothly with the activation before sending us on our way. Instead we were rushed out of the store because they were closing in 30 minutes.Im considering switching to AT&T once all the devices are paid off.

It has been about a month since I visited this Troy Verizon store BUT I figure its never too late to leave a review worth sharing which I never do BUT the young man that helped me was SO knowledgeable, helpful and most importantly he listened. Im pretty sure he was a manager, name was Zack. Very professional which is hard to find these days, BUT if I ever need to go back, Im hoping he is working that day. Wish I wouldve got his last name to send a thank you card for ALL his help and NOT making me feel stupid, LOL. Thanks again Zack! You rock!!!! If your reading this.👍

Very rude and not helpful at all. It was so bad that I left and have decided to get a phone from a different location. When I showed them my broken phone, they told me when it was my turn that they would come out to my car and grab me since my phone doesnt work. 40 min go by and was still waiting. So I went inside and then was informed that they tried to contact me 15 min ago...I told the man helping me I dont have a working phone and that you guys said you were going to come to my car. The guy proceeded to be VERY rude. I left really upset after this interaction. I really needed help with getting a new phone and left in tears. Will not be coming back here.

I went and it took way way to long fahdi was trying to help but was not trained enough or something. It took 4 hours. Went another day and the assistant manager Ryan was an absolute mess he did absolutely nothing to help, he needs a lesson in customer service he sat playing his phone, he separated me and my husband due to rules even though a few days earlier my 4 person family was aloud in. I only left 2 stars because Fahd I was at least willing to help.

Terrible Customer Service! I came to this location to buy a iPhone. I was only was in the store 5 mins when an Caucasian couple came in the store and the sales person told me to wait outside. I waited for 30 mins. No one never came. So while I was waiting I called Verizon and just ordered a phone. It’s a shame I had to waste my time!

Set up an appointment online to switch to Verizon. We have a business that we wanted to meet in person to see what options there were as we were going to be moving numerous lines to Verizon. Went to the store and was denied entry as we were a group of three and stated only one of us were allowed to come in the store. As the business is co-owned, that is not an option. The employee was rude and not understanding of our need to visit. When I made the appointment online the 2 person limit was NOT STATED. The only thing stated was that we must wear a face covering, which we all did, and we may have to stand outside or sit in our vehicle until an employee was able to assist us, which we did. Will never come back to this facility and am dissatisfied with Verizon in not placing their so called policy online when I made the appointment.

Waited my turn “in line” for 50 minutes only to have 2 people checked in after me to go directly to a tech to jump ahead. They insisted they had easy fixes that actually took more than 10 minutes each. My fix was actually easier taking only 2 minutes. BTW, my company spends $10,000 per year with Verizon. I didn’t demand special treatment. I only ask that you follow your check in procedures. I’ll drive the extra 10 minutes to a different store next time.

Probably worst store I ever dealt with. Attempted to buy a wireless spot for travel, they couldnt activate it. Bought a Galaxy phone, they couldnt put screen protector on it, claimed they dont have to since its courtesy. Asked for management many times, told they are unavailable. If you expect me to buy top of the line phone, least you can do is decent service.

He explained and took care of making sure all my contacts and pictures were saved. I got his business card and he told me to call for any reason. This is my Verizon Home base! My Verizon phone wasnt working after an automatic update. Many basic functions were not working, and I couldnt even do a factory reset. Two employees listened to me explain this and said they couldnt do anything about it; they said it was probably some app I downloaded messing up the phone. Their solution: We can sell you a new phone.I was intent on solving the problem, without buying a replacement phone. All I did was search my phone model and I found out how to access a hidden factory reset. My phone now works as it should.Im disappointed that the Verizon employees didnt even suggest that this was a possible solution. Im sure they know the products well enough to have been aware of this, but they wanted to sell, not help. That is not ethical.

I was told if I want my phone to work properly I must only use a max of 75% of its total storage capacity and that they wont do anything until after that. I asked what deals they had on phones since Im eligible for an upgrade and they said I dont qualify for any discounts. I waited to see if they would try and get me to buy anything by saying they could find me something but they didnt. Nothing was in the price range I wanted so I left. Not a great experience.

When we arrived we checked in and waited about 20 minutes to be assisted. It allowed me time to look for the phone I decided on online. I couldnt find it. When the sales guy came out, he seemed completely disinterested in assisting me. Not sure why, I was polite, but he refused to engage. I counted three times I thanked him, and he ignored me not responding at all. Of course, they didnt have the phone I wanted on display, nor did they have one in stock. At this point I really wish I would have just ordered it on the website. There you are promised 2 day shipping. This sales guy said Id get it some time late next week (5-6 days). Thats crazy! But I really am patient so its fine. I guess when you go to spend $500 + dollars you expect a better value overall. I would never come back here and I hope that sales guy reads this and makes a career change because he was just aweful. My son 14 walked out and was like what was up with that guy he was so rude.

Went in to find out our options on a new phone. Melikssa was super unhelpful when we asked questions. She gave us one option for a phone. We came in the next day, having decided on our own, to buy a different phone than she suggested. We were there for at least a half hour and no one said a word to us, so we left. Every time we’ve been here it’s been terrible. Just go to a different Verizon.

Have used this store a few times before - typically do a good job for me in the past. Came in to upgrade. Knew exactly what we wanted, no questions, should be a simple transaction! Not very busy upon arrival. Waited a total of 1 hour in attempt to upgrade. Between the initial wait and reps going back and forth to “check what they have in stock” we decided to just walk out. I manage a retail operation.. doing business shouldn’t be this hard.

Terrible, TERRIBLE service.July 31st:Waited a whole hour before I was helped. I was patient because I saw that they were short staffed (only 3 employees) with a ton of customers. I work retail, I get it. But some guy that walked in after me and 2 other parties started whining about the wait so they helped him before us! He said itd be something quick but it ended up being an upgrade that took 40+ minutes. It was the manager Nathan that did this, rewarding this manbabys bad behavior. When they finally got to me, they told me they couldnt access my account. All the time waiting patiently FOR NOTHING. I actually ended up missing out on BOGO promotion because of this too. Why was I so empathetic if the guy that throws a fit is the one that gets what he wants?A horrible, awful, pathetic excuse for a corporate store. Would not recommend

First of all I do NOT write reviews, but this is an exception to the rule. I went to the Verizon store on Crooks in Troy to see if anything could be done to save my 6 year old Motorola phone. After a few attempts at solving the problem it was determined by myself, my wife and Dominic the store manager that my phone was a goner. I told Dominic that I was not interested in an I phone. So he hooked me up with a new free Samsung phone. Yes there was a $40.00 upgrade fee and a two year contract extension, which I was going to get anyways. He transferred all the information from my old phone to my new phone, which I thought was very nice. He never tried pushing one of the new I-phones down my throat and that I found very refreshing. All in all it was one of my best retail shopping experiences. I would highly recommend this Verizon store to anyone looking for a Verizon phone. Signed, An Extremely Satisfied Customer

August 30, 2016 They dont even deserve 1 Star. The absolute WORST service I have EVER received from a Verizon store. I went into the Store because my Fairly New LG G4 phone crashed on me. I told the service guy what I have done to try to get my phone to work again & his response was, well looks like you have a couple options... 1. Upgrade your phone, I told him I did not want to do that because new phones are coming out in a few week. 2. Pay $150 to get a new phone. I told him no because I plan to upgrade in a few weeks. 3. Go across the street & buy a crappy phone & have him register it. Again, why would I spend money on a phone, when I plan to upgrade? 4. Send a Refurbished phone. I chose that option, but before that, I asked if he could try to trouble shoot what was wrong & he goes, by the sound of it you already did everything... I cant help you any further. Where do you want me to send your refurbished phone to? It would have been nice if he wasnt just all about getting a sale & having me spend money when it was not needed. Learn what Customer Service is Verizon. You guys are starting to be like Comcasts Customer Service & everyone knows they have the WORST Customer service.... Definitely looking into switching back to AT&T.

Today was the final straw I am done with Verizon and will be looking to switch to another carrier. Prior to coming into a Verizon store I called Verizon and asked them if they could put on a screen protector that Zagg sent me thru the warranty program at the store and was told no problem. My mother and I go into the Verizon today and a rep there first says oh its a Zagg Sapphire let me check with my manager. The manager then comes up and say they don’t sell that particular screen protector and he will try to put it on if he mess it up he won’t replace it. That should have been my cue to leave but I was concerned my mother’s phone would get damaged with nothing on it so I made the call to let him just try. Meanwhile I’m thinking Verizon didn’t say any but’s regarding the type of screen protector only that I could go into the store no problem. Nevertheless the manager made an attempt to put the cover on and after it looked atrocious. I honestly don’t think he tried at all and just wanted to get my mother and I out the store. This man was allegedly a manager he wasn’t mean or anything just obviously did a poor job likely cause the cover wasn’t purchased thru them hence why I called before even going into a store. I obviously won’t be coming back to this store EVER and will be done with Verizon as I pay to much money for mediocre customer service.

The employee, I think her name was Sarah, was so helpful with my phone today. I had gone in because my phone kept shutting off and I was very frustrated because I just got this phone. She was super nice, fixed my problem and literally answered all my questions. I could tell she was super busy, but she made sure to take care of me and was very conscious and respectful of my time. Amazing Experience. I had 4 issues to be resolved. I was in and out of store in 20 min. Jerray Flowers is outstanding employee! He diagnosed my issues FAST. Saved me a lot of money I was going to waste in filing insurance claim! I went to store on Hall Road near Lakeside first. I was told my phone was the issue (I just bought it in April!) True I had dropped the Android but Motos are durable. I was told my phone was issue.TODAY I go to this location and Jerray asks all the right open ended questions. He explained my phone has little chip from drop but my signal issues inside house & bldgs is due to 5G migration. To expect until 1/1/2020. He Fully explained why to the migration is happening. What it means for customers and indicated although nothing could be done about signal until migration finished. He said I would find this snag beneficial to me as customer at end of updateHe said my phone isnt broken. No need to file $89 Assurion Claim, I simply needed a new Moto mod extra battery. The Moto is actually what was broken not my phone!!It was my choice if I wanted to buy another today or I could just keep the Turbo charging like I always do with my charger. He was so nice I bought it. He went to back, I billed to my account bam!Waaaay less than $89!Last, My husband and I have had seperate accounts for some odd reason since 1997 (Yes we are 22 year customers!)He explained how we could condense to one account. Get him new phone, unlimited plans. He saved us over $200 a month as We are going to make change today AND get rid of our Comcast Xfinity Router monthly payment of $80 bucks as we now have unlimited hotspot!!Now THiS IS how a store and employee should take care of a customer. She was patient in answering all our questions when transferring multiple phone lines from A T & T and assisted us in finding a good international phone plan that tailored to our needs. So I waited and waited, until I saw other people coming in and getting waited on so i left. Really, how hard is it to put someone in Que to be waited on ? As I was walking out no response. I recommend going here, Verizon service works up north in gladwin and there out in the middle of no where so if my phone works, Verizon can work anywhere. We been at Verizon over 8 years. My dads been at Verizon since he was a kid and that was over like over 20 years. And if my dad had it that long u know its a good service and I would come back for more. Theyre waiting and service is so good, like a 5 min wait and they explain to u how to use your phone and everything! If anyone has a question just go to Verizon. My fiance has metro and it dont work up north like my phone does..

Bottom line this was the best experience I have EVER had at a Verizon store. Ask for the manager Reva when you go in as she simply will do whatever it takes to make you feel comfortable, get what you need, and ensure you have a great experience! I just went in to get the new Samsung S9 plus ( in purps by the way-love it) and Reva took care of everything and when the phone came in helped set it up in front of me. Just a fantastic story and a great experience compared to some awful ones I have had in the past and made me feel so much better about getting my new phone which can be stressful. I went into this location to upgrade to the iPhone 11 pro max and i received the worst service followed by the employee melikssa saying they won’t activate my device if i don’t purchase a $130 accessory bundle and she also charged me a $40 activation fee mind you this is upgrade I’m not opening a new line. I ended up paying for all these different things, and left thinking my phone was all set, i get home which is a half hour away and my phone was not activated and i had to drive all the way back to have them to activate it. I asked to speak to the manager, his name is Ryan. He came to listen to what i had to say and then basically said to me that if he had to pay an activation fee then so should I, and that I couldn’t find a great deal like this anywhere else and didn’t even bother to accommodate me in any way. He laughed and the other employees walk up and ask if we were being serious about our complaints. If you want to get robbed for your money go here. Very unprofessional, never will go back again, ruined my customer experience. I would like to give them -10 stars.I highly don’t recommend them as a corporate Verizon location! Please take your business elsewhere.

Just had to walk out of store after sitting there for 25 mins in center of store. No one greeted me. No one added me to waiting list. After 15 mins I just wanted to see of anyone would say anything. Never did. They just lost one.

Very rude staff, very un professional, dont spend money on anything unless you keep the PAPER RECIEPT, because they pay dumb that there system cant look up a sale on my credit card from 2 days prior... sad sad sad

Sales associate and Manager very disrespectful would not help at all with, Asked to return a phone that was bought online and would not honer the purchases at all. Call the Corporate number filled a complaint, and Verizon Help line was able to help and was very appreciative.Do Not GO to this Location...!!!!!!!!!!I would at all cost go to an other Verizon Location... Worst Store they have in North Metro Detroit

Horrible Service. This store is so poorly managed that it is laughable. The employee Sarah (tattoos, metal things in face) was rude and incompetent. She refused to honor the sales going on and refused to get anyone who actually had knowledge to assist. Verizon as a whole has lost my business due to this one employee. Horrible Service!!!
