Great store, friendly staff, prices are a little on the high side if your not a rewards member
Clean, quick service in the Seafood department. Quick checkout with the exception of my Weis card not be recognized. The clerk did use the store card but didnt say to go to customer service or online to get new card. Some of the nonsale items were priced than other grocery stores in the area
Well again tonight went to Weiss food store, and again the Deli was closed at 6pm. No one around and when asked a Weiss employee their response was they close at 2:30 pm. Also stopped at the meat dept. And the man I spoke to also mentioned, short staffed at this store. But when you start walking around there are employees everywhere. Not sure whats going on lately but I will start to shop elsewhere.
Nice store. Bustling location. Prices a bit on the high side, but sale items add some balance. Wide variety of fresh cut produce and pre made deli items. Friendly staff.
Make sure you check the expiration dates on their products! Ive experienced this a lot with Weiss
Good supermarket. Lots of variety. Not expensive. Clean. Sells local college gear.
Its in a busy area. Parking can be a little bit of a nightmare. I rarely have staff interact with me or ask if I needed any help finding anything. Its not too much of a problem since Im a little bit of an introvert anyway but I just thought Id mention that. Overall good store.
I love Weis shop there all the time .Today I purchase a bag of Perdue Drumsticks in a Bag ( Reduced for Quick Sale ) it was in the chicken section !! Pice for 6.99 & 5.49 . I said great deal . Thought it was gonna be Dinner . Got ready to wash and clean them cut open the bag i literally vomited in my sink. The chicken was so spoiled and foul smelling when I cut the bag open !!! It smell so bad my whole kitchen smell bad I had to immediately take them outside to the trash. This is terrible for families trying to budget. Spoiled rotten chicken !! This needs to be address ASAP
A great store with a real butcher, great meat selection, sells certified Angus beef. Very good grocery too!!
Well stocked store with a large selection of products. The store is well laid out and easy to navigate. The aisles are wide making a it easy to get through crowded aisle ways. The produce is beautiful and very fresh. The bakery is one of my favorites. The store is very clean. The staff is super friendly and very helpful.
Good prices for meats. Pastry and bakery not that great but has lot of variety. Friendly staff and has almost everything youd need at a reasonable price.
Dont let the parking lot fool you. Every time I pull up Im thinking its packed inside. To my surprise the store runs efficiently and you dont feel the crowd! Go on in- lolol
Always neat and organize. I usually find what I am looking for.
Clean inside and out, great food selections, friendly efficient staff
Great grocery store! Clean, neat and friendly staff. Has everything a grocery store can carry, n more. I always find what I need.
Always a pleasant experience! Very rarely out of stock!
Items were out of stock, needed restocking and as you enter the store the smell of seafood had a bad odor. Good store need a good cleaning
Weis is a nice store and it has nice savings on a lot of store products
TLDR: You will get what you need. Its a little expensive, bad layout, and parking is horrible.Food: they have a pretty wide variety of products here, including random beach stuff for summer, bakery, deli, hot food, veg, and very extensive frozen food section. There is twice the amount of ready made meals at this grocery store than my normal one. Compared to the Safeway I go to, some of the products were a little pricier, probably because this is also a very college town grocery store. The ready made food section actually looked really good, but the bakery section looked like things were from the 80s. My biggest problem with this store, however, wasnt the prices but in fact the layout. This store had the weirdest product layout which made it hard to price compare products. For example we were getting Feta, there werent a lot of options in the cheese section so we just went with one, and then in the back of the store on a refrigerator end cap was a different cheaper Feta. Im sure if this is your regular grocery store you would get used to it, but for me it was too chaotic and I probably wont return. Also if youre someone who is dairy free like me, this is not really the place to get your alternative products, they do have non dairy cheese shreds on a natural foods end cap, but they only had a limited selection of non dairy milk and creamers. If you need frozen food or packaged goods this place might suit your needs better, but for me and my needs this store was lacking.Parking: This is the worst parking lot ever. The only reason I went to this store is because I was running errands near by. If it werent for the fact Sprouts didnt have vanilla pudding mix, I wouldnt have gone at all. Between the old people and college students it feels like a game of hit or be hit. Pedestrians wandering the lots slowly, most of the time on the phone, and lots of people texting and driving. The spots are a little tight, but parking is in high demand here so depending on the time of day you might need to park between cars. This store is wedged between Marshalls and Target so parking is in high demand and pedestrians are plentiful. For my anxious drivers, go across the street to sprouts or find a different store because this is not it for you.Staff: Everyone here I interacted with was really nice. Lots of college students working hard. For me this store doesnt fit my daily shopping needs because its a little too pricy and not really the products I need. But if you want hot and ready food or easy frozen meals I would recommend this store to you. Perfect for college students and busy adults. The weird organization and the parking stresses me out too much for me to be a likely return customer.
I enjoy the products sold and that store comfort.
Deli closed early afternoon.Lack of staffing😕
Pharmacy is great and they have much better safeguards in place with common sense guidelines during pandemic that keeps everything running efficiently
Weiss is a Nice market well stocked always find what I am looking for
Very friendly staffGood prices convenient location
Weis over Giants. #WeisLife #WeisOrDie #WeisUp
I like this store. Great sales and the employees are nice. An employee just getting off work offered to take a rocking chair i bought but couldnt fit in my car home for me. He was so nice. I returned the chair though.
A poor Custumer service service I ever seen .got 3 gallons of milk its saying its 1.39 per gallon on the tag ..but at the counter they charge me 3.29 as regular charge as I have that weis card too ..I tried to get my refund from Custumer service Rep at help desk ..she was busy with her coworker ....after wating for 20 min I was told that I need to have 100 point to get on that price ..stupid policies ..(hedden) do not trust this store ..not gonna come back again ..👎👎
Weis has a great meat selection. I love how this store is laid out. The customer service is amazing!
Some of the employees are amazing, while a few of them are rude and disrespectful. theyre mainly on their phones not paying attention to the customers. they have attitudes when you ask for help. one day i went in to grab a few items and i went to self checkout while i was there i needed help and the young lady who was standing there was not paying attention at all, she was on her phone i had to walk up to her to get some help.
Always organized, clean, and has my favorite taquitos 😀
Make sure you tell your customers which carrol fuel gas stations do the weis points your customers think they gonna throw a fit about gas points n all carrol fuels dont work with weis
Pricey but excellent quality food
My market of preference. Well managed, clean, good produce, and friendly staff.
Big grocery store, lots of stock
Full stocked, great produce and bakery.
Good price on lobster but misleading sign as you enter which would lead someone who is not a Weiss mathematician to think if you spend $25 youll get a voucher for $5 off on your next trip. See for yourself.
I love this place
I Love shopping at Weis Market food always fresh.
The day before the big day and the store is moving with order. Merry Christmas 🎄
Wide variety, quality cuts of meat, fresh produce, and over the top economical prices! Best place to shop...always a sale!!!
Great clean store good selection of products prices a little high but a great staff
I used the curbside pick-up service. Very convenient, the order was correct. They were very friendly and put the groceries in the car for me. Did not have to get out of the car. Great Service, highly recommend it.
Always clean. The staff is friendly and great prices.
I dont usually shop at Weis because the last two times Ive been at this location I havent had good experiences. The setup is kind of weird and employees generally were not friendly or helpful. I was pleasantly surprised during this visit when I ran into two employees (cashier and bakery clerk) who gave amazing customer service. I may consider going back just because of them.
Nice place to shop for groceries for yourself or family
Well stocked store. Store is clean. Employees and customers wore masks and socially distanced. Very friendly young lady at the checkout.
Love wise
Great customer service, very well stocked, most of all very clean, thank youto the Weis Market team.
Always clean, stocked, and fresh!
Clean and staff in nice
Better than the one in Fullerton. But both still a great place to shop
Organized, and priced fairly. Parking lot can be crowded. Staff were kind
Selection of products isnt great, especially in the Latin food section. The bread in the bakery is not good. Last visit, some of the produce actually had some fuzzy mold on it. There were many empty spots on the shelves. There are many sales, but they often require you to buy multiples of the product for the sale price. On the other hand, the workers are very friendly and the prepared foods are pretty decent. The sushi is good for supermarket sushi.
Weis...my new grocery store! High quality produce and meat. Very large selection of food products. Best part...the bargains. I’ve been pleasantly surprised about the quality of the store brand. The place is large, clean, and the staff is friendly. Parking is easy.
Love the cleanest of the market. Nice and fresh meat department. Deli needs a little work on slicing showing their products before bagging your lunch meat and cheeses. Had to take back to the market a few times. Store managers and nice. Great rewards with you Weis card. I do all my regular shopping here. Overall I love my shopping experience here.
Prices are high. Its ok
The perishable items in the cases (mostly dairy) are always expired and their front-end staff just sits there openly on their cell phones.
Good Place To Shop For Your Groceries and More 😉😉
Super clean, all staff was very friendly, prices werent high, great sales. Best seafood salad!
I love going to this Market! They always, always have what I want. I was at two other grocery stores today and could not find cranberries, but Weis had them.
Great place to shop for groceries
It was good and clean, got everything I needed
This location, from what I can see, is very clean and big, with lots of fresh produce to choose from. Deli, seafood and a few cashiers are always friendly and willing to help. Only problem is the Customer service area. The employees make sure they finish their conversation before they decide to help with your needs. They don’t speak half the time. One girl in particular lacks customer service skills! But other than that, the store has everything you need and great prices!
Chicken and potato salad was excellent
The Putty Hill Weis Markets location was spacious, with many offerings particularly with regard to the deli and bakery. The staff was friendly and courteous. The only problem I had, which isnt anyones fault, is that I purchased 2 cupcakes that had been on display behind glass and could only eat the middle out of each as the rest was stale.
Very nice large and clean market. You have to pay for your crabmeat at the customer service counter. Not really a big deal, just interesting.
Customer service not good. Young lady at the door today 6.20.20@ 1030am. She was asked for somethingbtonwipe down the carts. She didnt answer the customer just looked at her and when she walked away she started making inappropriate comments. Not knowing if she was with someone who heard every negative comment she made. And I did getevery comment she made instead of saying maam we have to wipe down each and every cart for customers which should of been the appropriate amswerinstead of her negative comments and reactions. That causes loss of business
Generally a good store until 10:00PM. After that you are forced by a lack of cashiers to use the self-check kiosks. These are problematic for large orders for many reasons:1. The staging space is so small that YOU must fetch an extra empty cart to organize your purchase.2. Produce ringing is difficult due to weight vs pack pricing.3. Coupons are difficult to redeem.4. Otherwise IDLE staff can be nagged to help but clearly resent doing so.5. Even when you have ample funds on your debit card, the kiosk will reject your payment without explanation ... if you request cash over and the staff havent properly loaded the machine with bills and coins. If you notice this too ... make sure to contact top management early the next day!Sincerely, Randy & Mary Parsley
Very well-organized location. A little pricey compared to Aldi. Typical for a more-reasonably-priced shopping market than Giant though.
Clean, very fresh produce, well stocked, very helpful staff.
The staff there are nice and friendly. Unlike many grocery stores, the aisles are very spacious. I would have given Weis 5 stars but it doesnt have a large selection of organic foods (produce and packaged foods).
Almost every I needed was in stock, staff is nice and the store is clean.
Ive been there several days in a row and still no Turkey Hill orange ice tea. Not to mention there was only one self checkout register working. (Defeats the purpose.)
Good place
Dependable grocery store. Strengths include seafood, frozen foods, meats, and bakery. Prepared foods are good, but check the times. The produce is solid. Dairy is good but a little pricey at times, depending on the weekly specials. A recent revamp of the bonus card system was overdue and welcome.
I like Weiss. They arent the best but theyre consistently solid. They sell everything you would expect a grocery store too at reasonable prices. They dont have all the cuts of meat I would like to buy but they sell all the standards. Their produce is decent. The Weiss brand chocolate is really good. Solid grocery store.
Great prices and customer service
Really good selection and great produce and deli departments. The store is clean, well-spoken and good quality. Prices are good. Staff may not be the friendliest, so it only gets 4 stars.
Shelves still empty of essential items. I couldnt buy white vinegar unless I wanted the gallon size. Lots of other items out of stock for a Wednesday morning. Otherwise I really like this store.
Food is always fresh.
Only hummus my son likes 👍
Beautiful store. Customer service was not on point .
I love 💞 this place.
Website incorrectly states inventory. Website said they have products in this particular location that, in reality, they do not carry. Wasted trip
For the most part I like this Weis, but today has me questioning whether I’ll return. I left the store with a basket that contained my bags and as I was walking to my car, an employee loudly yells “Miss, your basket!” I told him that I had bags in the basket. He yelled again twice, “Miss, your basket!” At this point, he was yelling so loudly that everyone in the Weis parking lot could hear him. I assured him that I would bring the basket back to the store once I placed my bags in the car. He said nothing. Fast forward to me walking back to the store with the empty basket and the employee was almost halfway to my car. At that point, I was uncomfortable. Not only did you yell loud enough for everyone around us to hear, but now you’re following me to my car after I told you that I would bring the basket back to the store.I’ve seen this gentleman before and he’s never done this. Once I gave him the basket, he told me that customers are no longer allowed to take baskets out of the store because too many have gone missing. So two things are running through my mind. First, why wasn’t that said when I was first approached about the basket. Second, why hasn’t a sign been put up to notify customers of this? That’ll save your customers a lot of embarrassment from being approached in the parking lot.I don’t fault the employee as he was just doing his job. But I do think that Weis needs to work on their communication. It should never be an option to make your customers feel like you think they’re stealing. Not sure if I’ll be returning anytime soon, but I hope you all consider putting a sign in place and maybe a spot to place baskets by the exit. It also won’t hurt to work on better communicating with your patrons.
This market is great it has a wide variety of products, the food is fresh the customer service is okay it can be better but people do have bad days so I will chalk that up as so
My favorite market
Their hours say theyre open until 11 but they lock the doors at 10 so you need to go in the exit. Self checkout works fine and prices arent bad.
Employees are friendly and helpful. Proactive in assisting customers. Ive said this to management several times. I hope the management deals with their people the same way they all treat their customers.
Its a Weis Market...nothing particularly special or memorable about my shopping experience there. The young lady monitoring self check outs during the late part of the 3pm hour on this day was very personable however.
Great selection and a lot of savings.
The place is clean and the staff was friendly. The chicken at the hot bar was way too salty, and the rest of the good at the hot bar area doesnt look that appetizing. Great deals throughout the store. Would definitely go again.
Nice place to shop and they are friendly
Have everything you need. Clean and neat store. Friendly staff.
The Weis Market in Towson is clean and friendly. I was able to find what I was looking for. Surprised to find Fischers popcorn. Yum!
First let me say I have over 7 years of retail experience so no disgruntled shopper review here. The store is setup as if someone who has never pushed a shopping cart in their lives has organized and designed the isles theres so little consistency among product organization its easier to close your eyes and hope you find what you are looking for. also purchased 90% similar items that i get at competing grocery stores however it was 50 dollars more. Huge waste of time on this trip would only recommend in a food emergency for something like aunt annies pretzels.
