I like to go here to get my snow crab. They are the only place that has them for a reasonable price. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Always Fresh? Always the Best, Deidra was Kind Enough to clean of the Machine that the Deli meat is sliced off of. I. Could NOT Believe the amount of. Juices that was left from prior slices of meat. She cleaned that machine at least four times and I was so pleased to know that my meat was being freshly sliced on a very clean machine. Im sure that my deli meat will taste a lot fresher. It is 2:03 AM and I just got off the phone with Robert. Totally fed up with the constant noise truck backup alarms and the noise trucks offloading in the middle of the night and the no apology Im doing my job, you can call the manager in the morning response to my request for quiet. I would rate lower if I could.

The store is always clean and has a good supply of items. However, the bathroom is ALWAYS nasty and thats been for as long as I can remember. This location is very old and outdated however.

They just remodeled.. its nicer but itd be great if they had better produce to go with the nice new design.

Though there are two Giant grocery stores more convenient and closer to my home - I go out of my way to come to the Loch Raven Giant. The produce section is always well stocked and the fruit, especially the apples, look and taste fresher. The meat department always has a wide variety and many different cuts of meat. The deli and bakery departments are organized and the displays are always neat and look good. Whenever I have needed assistance it is always easy to find someone and they go out of their way to help you. This Giant used to be convenient to my office but when our office location changed, I started going to the other closer Giants. I soon realized that driving out of my way to go to the Loch Raven Giant location was worth it for the quality and great customer service.

Standard Giant. Accessible for handicap_ & public transport. At intersection w/ a strip mall on all 4 corners. Shop the sales!! Nice staff👍🏾

Store is definitely heavily utilized by the community. Conveniently located next to loch raven village. Usually has everything I need and more! Not quite sure why they pay for security as the officer just sits down on the ledge by the window or stands by the door trying to remain awake. May get better use out of the security if they actually could enforce the no parking outfront and make people move their cars as this causes major congestion in the parking lot during peak times. Seafood display case always looks bare and usually long lines of people waiting for someone to assist them in that department. The bakery and deli departments seem to be staffed appropriately.

Like I said Giant food must be good cuz its the only place I prefer to shop

As a Temporary Driver for Giant Transportation, I find delivering to this Store to be fairly simple. A mile or so off of the interstate highway loop I-695 onto a Four lane Two way street. The Receiver is always Helpful and willing to Unload the Trailer with quickness.

Beauty product prices were LOWER Than at the Beauty Store.

This Giant is clean and well stocked. Its particularly good of you are looking for alternative food like vegan and gluten free.

This is where I do 95% of my shopping. I prefer the store on York Rd. Loch Ravem stop isnt as friendly.

It was one of the most clean neat Giants Ive ever been in they were very nice and professional it was early in the morning and they were fully stocked Tuesday and we need to praise our cashiers that are working through a pandemic they r Frontline workers

This Giant is one of the worst. I placed a deli order at the kiosk then asked the woman working there where I can pick it up when its ready. She literally threw her hands up and muttered I dont know. I continued my shopping and got the notification that my order was ready. I went back and shes there still slicing my order.... not ready at all. While standing in line, that was backed up the entire aisle, I continued to hear overhead notices that my order is ready. All throughout the store employees are stocking shelves but seemingly oblivious to customers trying to ask them questions. I would only come here as a last resort.A little more....I just got home and found that she didnt even get the order correct. I ordered Boars Head provolone and she gave me the store brand.

Ms. Robin in the bakery is the best, she made the best trolls cake for my daughters birthday party everyone loved it. Ms Robin you rock.

This giant is amazing and the customer service is just outstanding they have everything you need and yeah their prices are a little higher than a Walmart food store however the quality of the food like fruits and vegetables just so fresh and especially their fresh seafood is amazing and especially this giant is awesome because they allow you to come in 24 hours a day.

Looks good from the inside since the renovation, especially the check out, although its a bit too small now.

My family and i shopped at giants for years and to hear how they treated my dad and embarrassed him didn’t know he was terminated and the boss disrespected my mom when she wanted to beg to keep my dad working the boss told my mom i don’t have nothing for him it’s sad but my uncle works in city hall office and it says giants need help how can you treat someone like this and cover it up my dad didn’t know he was fired til an employee told him which is terrible they said my dad work slow but they have employee who walks outside doing whatever and flirting with customers my dad has an disability he just wanted an different experience now he is an stock manager elsewhere God is Good i told my mom if that market was the only market in our area i would just starve it hurted me to see my dad hurt

Lives up to what you would expect from a major food chain.you need a car to get there unless you live near but there are other places near by so you can get pretty much everything you need. The staff is ok probably wont need them to find what you want.

(Edit: Formerly!) 24 hours supermarket with excellent produce. Prices are reasonable for shelf stable and frozen foods, less so for dairy and deli. Major caution: meats are prepackaged from a central commissary in Jessup - as a result quality tends to be inferior (sometimes drastically so) to chains such as Weis, Safeway, and Shoprite that employ onsite butchers. Pharmacy is better than York Road branch, but prices are hit or miss. Seafood is also hit or miss, and department can smell alkaline. Chain was slower than most in restocking after Covid 19 shortages. Store personnel are friendly and knowledgeable. Bonus card program superior to competitors. Overall, a good place to shop for some items, but not for others.Addendum: one year later and a remodel has left this store in identity crisis. Are they upscale? Are they local? Are they discount? In trying to be all things to all people, they succeed at none of them. Rating reduced from 4 stars to 3 stars.

Great clean easy to navigate. Secret! You must try the store brand guacamole its truly the best. $4.99 lb containers are about a Lb. A bag of tottitos and guac is a great meal. 🥳🥳

Why is there only one person working a singlr cash register with a line down past eh pharmacy at the back of the store? Maybe open the self checkouts and have that cashier operate them? This is beyond absurd, people must be waiting over an hour in line. Why would I do that to myself? What a total waste of a trip.

Giant Food and Pharmacy at 8100 Loch Raven is excellent to shop and get prescriptions the associates are very helpful the store is clean and the produce is fresh the loyalty program is good you can turn the points you earn to buy food or to lower gas price at the pump.I recommend it.

Everyone is always so friendly here. Any time Ive ever needed help I have always Gotten everything I need. I come here all the time. Its great.

From out of state, so not quite sure if ALL food prices are this high in the area, or not. Other than that, I went at peak hours, and although the lines were backed into the aisles and made it hard to navigate, I still managed to get what I needed and get out relatively quickly.

During this Covid 19 crisis I called The Customer Service Department to see if they weren’t busy, if they could check the shelves for my specific brand of coffee.A very nice lady named Kim took the time to actually go look for me so I wouldn’t stop for nothing. It took some time for her to look and return to the phone. She was so pleasant toward me.You rock Kim!!! Now THAT was super customer service!!!

My experience is always great when I shop at Giant food market. I always leave the store with more than what I intended to buy. The shelves are well stocked at all times, the products are fresh: no expired items and the prices are reasonable. The store lighting makes for a cheerful and inviting environment, the stores are clean and the air is neutral and fresh. The customer service is excellent. In general, Giant Food is a family friendly store and have some 24 hour locations...

Only 2 ch out lines, its as bad as Aldis on sunday.

I shop here a few times a week. No matter how busy they are Ive never had to wait in line for an eternity and if Ive had a question or was looking for something someone is always available and happy to help. Never had any issues with customer service whether ots 3am or 3pm. Love love love this store.

It is always well stocked and the staff is very helpful. The big drawback is the outdoor lighting. I frequently feel very uncomfortable in the area above the Citgo station. I am often approached by non shoppers asking for money or loitering for no apparent reason. I suggest coming in daylight or parking as near as possible between Giant and the restaurant next door. It is well lit and a lot of people are coming and going.

The staff is friendly and helpful. I love that this location offers a college discount. It definitely comes in handy. Good produce, fresh seafood, awesome deli counter. The pharmacy staff could be a little warmer and friendlier, but theyre always busy, so maybe its stress.

While I wss shopping, I noticed they had arrows and signs. That let me that they have the customer best interest at heart. I said They really do care about the customers. It made me feel safe. The store was so clean. Thats why I traveled to that Giant. All the associates were friendly as well as helpfull. I pass by two grocery stores, just to be where I know the food is fresh and the shelves where the food is kept is clean. Thank you for carting, I mean this, just thank you all!!!

Giant used to be a good food store but they really went downhill. Got rid of most of the prepared foods oh, and the staff is nowhere as good as they used to be. Its a shame to see at this Baltimore tradition be hollowed out like it is.

I like Giant but there prices are a little high. They usually have what your looking for, as long as your willing to pay a couple of your hard earned dollars more, they got you covered. There meats are almost always on point. The people here are very nice and helpful. Its just a little more expensive.
