One of my favorite book stores in LA. If you love illustrations and concept art you will love this store they have all types of illustrative books,comics, collections of sketches, and art pieces. Its a small shop but it has everything you could want with really good pricing.

I ordered an art book online for my boyfriends birthday. This book is sold out everywhere and only available from resellers for $300+, but this store had it for the regular retail price! Their customer service was amazing. I accidentally ordered two books and emailed asking if there was anything I could do. They responded within two days to say they would return one no problem. Shipping was FAST and they even let me know a week later that the shipping had cost less so they refunded me.Also, the book arrived in perfect condition.Great communication, friendly service, great product. Will absolutely buy from here again!

This art bookstore also carries great childrens books. Although primarily for artists, cartoonists, and animators, this bookstore also carries some unusual (and awesome) childrens books.My space-loving kids have read a number of the Professor Astro Cat books, and weve bought a fair number of them. Would you like to tour the human body.... as a cat in a spacesuit? If so, then yes, this is your book. Its a series, and weve toured the human body, outer space, and the deep seas together.I recently found Dieter Brauns Wild Animals of the South and Wild Animals of the North, which are majestic depictions of the wild animals we have in the world.If BOB books make you want to stab yourself in the eyes, then you should find some much more palatable selections here. I recently did ALL of my Christmas shopping here (including shipping to an international military base!)

Just got another order that I purchased online. They have great communication as to tracking and shipping. Everything is packed carefully and as ordered. They also refunded me for partial shipping as actual cost was less than website figured it to be. This is so honest (most sellers just keep it after you pay). Highly recommend they are top notch!!

Very helpful and friendly staff. They have the largest and most varied collection of comic books and art books Ive ever seen. It really is stunning. You can find everything from one-off underground comix to Disney storyboard collections. A must visit.

The owner, Harvey, was very enthusiastic and clearly loved every book in his store. He gladly showed us a number of rare books and scripts. Since the collection is constantly changing, I would advise keeping a close watch on this store for any rare book you may be after.

Stuart Ng books is the best art book dealer and showroom in the LA area. Mr. Ng has created an amazing collection. This is a great resource for designers, illustrators, and fans alike. This is such a cool, unique store full of hard to find art books. Any artist visiting LA, who loves art books, fantasy, comics or manga should visit this store. Its totally worth it. The folks that run the shop are very friendly and helpful. I was in there well over an hour pouring over every shelf. Stuart gets tons of stuff from France, as probably every review mentions. He also carries prints, original art, a few statues, etc. If I lived in the area Id probably be in there multiple times per month.

This is simply the greatest bookstore ever! If youre into concept art, illustration, and graphic novels from all over the world you will feel like youve stepped into heaven.This is not a comic shop, but stands as a monument to what comic books and graphic novels can accomplish at the top of their form.Dont be afraid to try something new. I have books in languages I will never be able to read but the artwork and the visual storytelling are worth adding to your library. There are so many books and artists youve never heard of who can change the way you see the world.Impossible to find sketchbooks, rare and out of print books on great illustrators. One can definitely spend hours here pulling down masterpiece upon masterpiece.

A great bookstore in the heart of one of the oldest shopping centers in the area! I come in to buy gifts, and browse the sale racks for a new read for myself. Theres always new things to discover on their shelves. They also have a large section of toys, games, and puzzles for kids of all ages!

The Stuart Ng Books (NOT the Harvard Coop) is really hard for me to objectively review, seeing as I have worked there. It did receive an award for being the best place to meet people. Plus it has kept me from starving to death.

They have a lot of rare and foreign graphic novels that you will not be able to find anywhere else. Keep track of when you are visiting though. If you visit around comic con they may have low inventory because they take a lot of stuff to the convention. Great bookstore though.

My teenage daughter loves this shop. It is our first stop when we flew to LA for the first time from New York, and she asking when we can go again. Its got an incredible collection of art books you can not get elsewhere.
