This book store is amazing! The store is so spacious and the sections are neatly organized. It is very easy for me to locate where the books I want are! They have a huge variety of books ranging from kids to adults. They have a cute coffee shop where you get buy some drinks/snacks to enjoy your reading with. All the staff is very helpful and polite! The store is cleanly maintained! Cashier service is fast!

I love Barnes and Noble. Everyone who works here is helpful and nice, and they always have a wonderful selection of books. Today they actually didnt have the book I initially went in for, but the lady who checked me out (I did find four others I wanted, lol!) offered to hold a copy for me when they got a new shipment in. Im looking forward to getting that email!

Book store are always the best. This one, like its Anchorage branch(only one floor), has similar book categories, and a coffee shop inside.Not too much exquisite stuffs though.For all of all, Its very friendly and clean.

This beautiful bookstore pulled us in and and sent us in various directions of interest. I love the way it is so spacious. I can easily look across the store to track my family exploring elsewhere. It is easy to quickly find someone to assist my search.

Barnes and Noble has been my favorite place for years. Stuffed with wonderful books! Beautiful and super relaxing. They are open fairly late so I can still go after work. You can even get coffee and a snack! Always helpful and friendly staff!

Theres nothing / no one to compare to Barnes & Noble, everyone else has went the way of the Dinosaur. But nevertheless, B&N still have nice stores and plenty of reading material.

Barnes and Nobles is a very clean and professional Corporation, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend this book store to South Bay locals. Has a very good interface with their website and inventory as well.

This Barnes and noble is huge! It was part toy store, part cafe and part bookstore. They had a lot if really cool stuff! I love walking around bookstores to kill time and in this one 2 hrs passed before I even noticed. Its a great place to relax and unwind or to shop for a wide variety of things. I even found a gift for my fiance in the clearance bin!

Nice store with two stories (escalators and elevator available) of a great selection of books, games, journals, greeting cards, etc... even movies! They also have a small cafe with drinks and a few food items. All the employees Ive dealt with are super friendly and helpful. The only drawback for me is the parking lot.. since the bookstore is by the Del Amo mall, the parking goes quick. I always eventually find a spot, but would definitely make more trips to this location if I knew I could find a quick parking spot.

Was really excited to go to a 2 floor book store only to get accused of stealing, getting warned that the cameras would follow around and that security would be waiting outside with handcuffs because I put two books back that I decided not to get in the end. Ruined the whole experience for me

Love the location. It’s right outside of my favorite mall, Del Amo. Great size store with tons of books. I came for a specific book and to my surprise they actually had it in stock. I have always been a fan of the store. If they don’t have it in stock, they order it for you online.

Its thursday morning waited for the store to open i drove an hour to get to the location and had my mind set to go get coffee and breakfast.the lady was making coffee and havent even greeted me.so i noticed the sig that its not open yet.i went to used the restroom first then go back.the lady is still not very friendly she was earlier.i was being nice to her.she told me she was still closed so she didnt say say anything to me.i work slso with patients.for any company and business like your store would greet their customers with friendly smile.apparently shes just not a morning opener .i end up not wanting to buy and stay.i eent to ask for a manager customers desk was the same.she said she is the manager.all dhe said was oh sorry!so i had the bad feeling theyre all just not people friendly.i went out the store with a tear in my eyes...this just set my morning off bad day...what a store employees.you dhould put people in the morning shift with mo attitude.its very important for the front.

Whats not to like about a bookstore? Now that theyve almost all closed down, theyre like unicorns. I hope this one stays open, because if it closed, Id be very sad. :(Ive spent hours in BN reading manga, magazines, and books, on dates, passing time, just browsing. This store will always have a piece of my heart.Go buy something. Keep it alive.

Nice bookstore and very friendly service. This is my favorite bookstore to go to. They also have a little cafe inside. I like how you can look through the books before buying them and when I bought my book I got a 50% off a cookie to use at their cafe.

I came here Monday early in the morning an hour after they opened the bookstore it wasnt too packed. I bought a People Magazine with my favorite girl in the world Selena Gomez on the cover. The line was not too long either the cashier girl named Corinne was really friendly and nice she complimented my Sonic the Hedgehog shirt. She asked me if I found everything alright she also asked me if I needed a bag and bagged my magazine for me with the utmost care and put my receipt in the bag.My experience was a pleasant one I would definitely come here again and purchase my books here.

I love Barnes and Noble. I grabbed a Starbucks Half Caff and hit the store HARD. My friend was complaining nothing was grabbing her so I suggested she try the Blind Date with a book!! I mean dont think too hard just look at the brown bag wrapped books and the little smidgen written to give you the vibe of the read then just grab and go. I mean if blind dates were that easy Id be out all the time. How can you go wrong with a surprise story. I would date some books so hard in my tub with a bath bomb. Who cares it not the hot drummer that is in my dreams. Whatever. Live on the edge people. Go on a blind date with a book and if it doesnt move you, slip it to your bestie maybe she will have better luck. I mean you dont have to go all FB official. I am kind of mad at myself for not grabbing a couple. Oh and 10%off for Barnes and Noble members. My membership expired but I only had a little cash.. forgot my wallet. I needed that coffee earlier. So guess what!! I have to go back now. I mean my future best book could be just around the corner. Best date ever. Yeah boys I am a reader I am stacked!! Books people!! Dont get crazy. Listen, they have a couple awesome gift areas too. I smelled some awesome soap. I also saw a dream journal that I have to go back for. Fill it with stories about the drummer. Ugh why does he have to have a GF.. anyway. I will hit the Blind date with a book table HARD. The magazines.... I want sooo many. I read them and the collage with them. Just go!! Get a book if you dont like to read just look at the coffee table picture books. Pick up a book feel the weight listen to the sound of the pages flipping and look at the hot guys that are there that READ. What drummer!! OkI have to finish this and sleep. LOVE this store! Fabulous two story with a wide selection in each category, plus a lot of unusual, harder to find games and brain teasers. I also had no issues with exchanging a book. I didnt have the paper recipe but I did have it uploaded to a recipe app and the barcode scanned off my phone with no problem.

I really like book stores, and this Barnes & Noble is pretty good. It is a big store, and they offer a wide variety of products besides just books. They have music, movies, and board games, too. They have a great kids section, and they occasionally host events for kids there. They have a full cafe serving Starbucks coffee, and the wonderful smell hits you as soon as you enter the store. Sounds great, but heres the rub, its hard to offer all of that and keep prices low. They just cant compete with Amazon for price. Its a shame, but thats how it goes. No slight against the store itself; its a good shopping experience, and the staff a friendly and helpful. Enjoy!

Glad to be able to browse in here again. Fixtures are a little more spread out for social distancing.I didnt go in the cafe and not sure if you are able to sit, but it was open.Over the intercom, you are reminded to keep your social distancing as well as to minimize your browsing so that others may come and enjoy the store as well.

Hope they continue to survive. Seeing how our Public Libraries are still closed my bookstore is the next best refuge.

I been shopping and visiting Barnes and Noble for years. My kids were excited to visit a few days ago because they havent been there for awhile. I will never go back to this location and it isnt up to par like the other locations. Sales clerk and Manager were both rude and unprofessional they are both a bad representation of Barnes and Noble. To these two pathetic employees who work there shame on you. Your both in the wrong profession because you clearly dont know what true customer service means. You both belong in the unemployment line. Lets give other people who really know how to be customer service oriented and deserving of this position a job. Because these two losers dont have the slightest clue.

Always stocked with great books. The feel is the same as its always been. I never fail to find what I need here. Standout scene is the amazing employee who dresses in cosplay at work! 👌 Shes super unique in her ability to stand out and be herself. Amazing experience.

Barnes and Noble will always be a favorite place of mine, but I’m just disappointed that they recently reduced the size of their music department in favor of toys. I understand it’s all about what sells when it comes to business, but this was a music haven for me. Now the record selection has been reduced to a couple of racks upstairs and those racks contain mostly mainstream “greatest hits” collections. I’m hoping Barnes and Noble Torrance will reconsider expanding their music department once again. They still have some great titles and I still shop there, but I miss the vast selection they once had. Yes, I know I can order them online, but online shopping doesn’t give you the experience and instant gratification that walking into their store does.

Great selection of books, cds, DVDs and classic vinyl. I used my birthday gc and cash to purchase several books and a DVD. They do require mask and have a hand sanitizer station as you enter. My comfort level is maxed after Ive gotten the items I immediately wanted, so no visit upstairs to browse and definitely no sitting to read an excerpt.

Great place for reading new books, doing homework, or writing your latest novel. This particular location is clean and very popular. There are plenty of books and the salespeople are very helpful. The coffee shop has a lot of items and the baristas are courteous and always very engaging. I definitely recommend this B&N.- An update to my review: This place is so peaceful that I have been almost daily during the past month. The parking is challenging as the Del Amo Mall is in the same lot, but I found that parking just behind B&N is easy as no one parks there. You can get your exercise walking, the car is safe, and you dont have to fight to get out of the parking lot.Great place to study, meet someone, have an interview, or to write. I highly recommend them!! I wish I could give them a 10 stars!! *************
