If you are looking to support a small business with an amazing selection and vibe this bookstore is the way to go. The employees are so nice and welcoming I didnt feel nervous to ask for recommendations. The have new and used books so if you dont have much to spend or you wanna splurge a bit its all there. I thought the candles and metal pins were so cool. Definitely has a community vibe. Definitely will go again✨

Ive walked by this book store a half dozen times while shopping at this shopping center, but man, it is really good. No offense to Torrance but its much better than what youd expect from the area. If you happen to be in the area its worth a look-see.

I just love love love Sandpiper Books. From the day I discovered it, I kept coming back regularly. My bank account is not really happy about it, but what can I say? They have an extensive selection of both new and used books and I just want to buy them all. Staff and the owner are very knowledgeable and helpful. If they dont have in stock the book you are looking for, you can always order it with them directly. And if you are skeptical about prices compared to Amazon, I checked the price for a book with both, and Sandpiper was actually cheaper.

Friendly staff to help you find what you are looking for, pricing is on point and lots of hard to find books on hand. Highly recommend visiting this book shop and supporting local businesses.

They are always wonderful giving advice on books or guide you to some gem you have not yet discovered. Their second hand collection is wonderful, specially the children one. Also, they take custom orders and call you to pick up when it arrives so check with them before ordering from Amazon!

I thought What a wonderful discovery I have made finding a book store that has such a warm and loving personality. The owner, Tish, presents you with a kind of magical exposure to the often exciting world of imagery in print to stimulate your imagination. Each book accepted for resale at her store is lovingly cleaned and placed in a manner which leaves one thinking that these books are beckoning you to pick up them up and enrich your life. And I always leave feeling that I must return to find another joy. If I do not find something I know that the owner will warm my heart with good will and surely the next visit another treasure will be found.

Sandpiper Books is a neighborhood gem! Its locally owned and has a great selection books with nice displays to fuel your browsing needs. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. My favorite thing to do is grab a tea from the cafe and sit out front and people watch. Great place to bump into neighbors.

One of the few remaining small bookstores selling high quality used and new books. They have an excellent selection of books across a wide variety of subjects including a large number of classics.

Workers were friendly, dont be intimidated to ask questions if you have any, the used books selection are reasonable prices. I would rather come here to support the local businesses compared to the big chains, I will be back for more books!

Lady was very nice, several of the used books were prices higher than the MLP...not cool.

I tried buying a book but the lady wouldnt ket me because she had a 10$ minimum. Extremely irritating because no ine else has the book and I didnt have cash nor did I want to buy more books. Im never shopping here.
