Very cool experience for my Daughters first birthday, and build-a-bear experience. The staff went out of their way to make it special for her. We loved the vast assortment of options. We could argue with the price either. We will be taking her here every year on her birthday, and times in between as well

Always a highlight for our family. Staff was nice. Bummed that there is no longer the pretend bathtub and the kids do not get to step on the peddle to help fill the bear.

The stuffing went everywhere! Definitely made the experience really fun!

I brought my very young daughter here in hopes she would get the same experience that I had when I was little, unfortunately that was not the case. She was so excited when she saved enough of her potty points to go build her own bear. There were probably 4 or 5 bears to choose from, and a bunch of empty bins. She wanted a pink, sparkly bear that was on display, but we were informed they no longer had the bear, after trying to cheer her up, she picked out a different one and seemed happy, we got her stuffed by the rudest employee, who rolled her eyes at my daughters excitement and she wasnt going to let her do the classic heart act. I noticed she was just going to sew her bear up when I asked her to do the whole heart thing she huffed and handed my daughter a heart and then did it, but seemed annoyed. My daughter expressed to me that she hurt her feelings and then after trying to comfort her again, she picked out an outfit, we named her bear and she was excited again when we went to check out. We were then greeted by another rude employee who seemed to huff when my daughter was excited. It truly breaks my heart that my two year old was treated like a bother, for simply being excited and happy. I dont think Ill ever come back here again. I remember the employees names, but I will not name them in this review.

The girl that let us in was very rude !!!!! All because we didnt have a mask on and we are all exempt ! I felt judged ! I wont be going back unless I get an apology and am treated 100% better! FYI it is NOT against the law to go somewhere without a mask ! People needs to learn that and have better manners and respect! I do not know the girls name because she was not wearing a name tag and I did ask but she wouldnt say she has kinda long dark brown kinda curly hair she had light blue Jeans on and a black sweater .

My daughter and son-in-law shopped here for my grandbaby. We had a ball. Lots to choose from.

The girls were super friendly and made our kids feel special by giving them a great first time experience. Morgan went above and beyond to put smiles on our kids faces. They are a bit pricey, but worth the smiles

Love how helpful the workers are. And right now they are low in stock. Have select stuff. But plenty of items online and you can order and have stuffed at the store.

My happy girl finally got her Grogu. I loved how when they stuffed him they included things like...rub this heart on his head so he always knows to use the force she had 70 dollars in gift cards from Christmas to spend and couldnt be happier😉 Happy New Year!

Very busy and a little dissapointed that they got rid of the washing station, but very cute outfits and accessories. Love the options to put in a custom voice box.

A kids favorite place and a parents nightmare. Im just kidding, but it is q cute little place for the kids to build their own bear and pick out their own clothes for the bear.

It was a great experience for the kids and the adults. They included the adults in all the fun. Just cant get over how I felt like a kid again.

It was awesome! The staff were readily available, courteous, and very helpful and friendly. Lots of smiles, and they made my little feel like their best friend, which is the best part! She really loves her bear, and they were able to tailor make just for her, despite her rather eccentric requests. Im really happy with them, and my little sister and I will be back! 😊

This is for sue the best experience. I have never taken my kids before (3,9,12)yrs old then my baby of 3 wanted to check it out and I took her and got her a teddy bear and we did an outfit and everything. When we got home my oldest 2 were so mad they didnt get one that we had to make another trip. Now all my kids have their bear and now we have to adopted bears we find. We went to good will found a bunch of bears now they have 15+ bears ... This place is great but be mindful of your budget.

Kids got a chance to use their birthday and holiday gift cards today. The young lady who helped us was very enthusiastic and engaged with the children. They spent some time looking around the store before checking out, they miss the bear wash station they liked that alot.

Was there to get a baby Yoda it was okay

I took my grandson there and he wanted a camouflaged bear. His grandfather was in the army. We purchased army clothes and other clothing related to military. He wanted that for his birthday. That is really a nice place you can pick out whatever animal you want and the dressing to go with it. You can give it a name have a birth certificate and they put it in a nice box for the children. But it can be costly depending on what you purchase. It is well worth it. He has that bear to this day.

Fun experience for kids

The business was fine but the workers were beyond pushy. Even when we directly said we are only getting this and this the worker would directly talk to our kids do you want this. We would have to say NO! We said only the bear and the voice box. Then she would do it again. She kept doing it and would look at us with that mean smile. Not cool. Dont see myself going back. So hows that for increasing sales. Didnt work. And I love getting my kids those type of things. My sister wont go back either.

If you sign up for emails you can find out about specials and promotions. And, many times they give out coupons for spending so much money. It really helps out. You can even buy an item as a gift and the receiver can come back and have it stuffed to make it an interactive experience.

The girls at build a bear in Toledo are amazing. They know my kids and I very well (we go there alot...lol). They always treat us with care and compassion. They always know exactly what my girls will like. Thanks for being the best!

Came to show a friend the clearance section. Staff was very friendly and inviting. She handed us a scratch off to get a free animal item. The atmosphere was very kid friendly

Love build a bear, they always assist and offer help, and can perform the extra build a bear ceremony. Was told they all make and carry around their first bears they make and most even buy them to keep. I love looking around to see the selection and they have even more online, be sure to check them out.

Our girls had planned this outing for their birthday for close to a year and were not disappointed. The lady that helped us was very friendly and sweet. We did have to ask for help with the whole experience after the pets were stuffed. But once I approached she jumped back in and quickly filled the obligation.

This place is really something, bad. You take a great idea and ruin it by charging a kidney for a teddy bear. I think more people would take their children if the price came down. You could easily wrap up 100 bucks on a bear and pretty much walk out with nothing. I also wouldnt recommend getting any child a gift card either, because they wont be able to afford anything

Havent really been to a build a bear before. But its a bit pricey. But a large variety of different stuff to choose from.

Although usually a fan of this special store Im especially disappointed with the outcome of our visit today! After going through with the whole bringing it to life ceremony, as the clerk went to close up our bear one of the threads was pulled loose unable to pull its stitching closed. She then attempted to sew it by hand with brown thread on a completely white bear. Not wanting to take away from my daughter helping to create this new life I let it go. Less than 2 hours after we get home and the stitching is coming apart! I expected more for something I just dropped $80 on! Definitely unsatisfied!

Very misleading promotion persuaded me to drive over an hour to get a specific stuffed toy for my autistic son for christmas. This store sent me an email claiming I could get ANY furry friend for 10.00. That was total FALSE advertisement to trick the customer.I had to pay full price of 35. Ive been extremely loyal for 5 years and this is the way Im treated.I even endured a 10 hour wait the last time for the pay your age and they tried not allowing my son to pick the toy he wanted. Your customer service needs work.

They could use a larger store due to trying to fit excessive amounts of people in the same store as several large BAB furnishings easily making the store a task. But the staff is always ready for a surprise and some fun and everything fairly well stocked

This IS my favorite place at this mall. I got a couple of bears from there, and its super cool. Employees are very nice. And the bears are the best, there THE best plushes you can buy! Want a bear with a Pokëmon hoodie? Sure. Want a Hot Wheels themed bear? Of course! Everytime I go to the mall, even when I dont got much money, I still go there, looking at those cool plushes. Totally recommend!

Kids love the bears but they are extremely over priced and the cashiers always take a long time. We spent as much time in line waiting to pay (with 2 people ahead of us) as we did picking out bears, getting them stuffed, picking out clothes and putting said clothes on the bears with our 2 young children.

Build a bear why couldn’t you just let the kids pick out there bear buy and come back another day to stuff it? You knew this would happen. But listen you are dealing with kids so very sad what you did to all these crying kids sure hope you dont treat your kiddos like this. Shame on youuu

I went to get a bear restuffed for my niece. The store was a little packed, but not too packed. The lady who came up to help me was super rude, and dismissive. I ended up walking out of the store.b

After attempting to take my 2 autistic sons to participate in the pay your age day..we were turned away due to lines being too long! Imagine the emotions that my boys went through being told they couldnt make a bear because there were too many people!!! Are you kidding me?! Not to mention the behavioral outburst in front of everyone and them screaming the entire way home etc..what did you think would happen when you made this event?! Thise who were turned away should receive a certificate for the inconvenience to use at a later date !!!

Stopped in to the new and improved Build A Bear Workshop today. My daughter has been anxiously awaiting her 4th bear.Of course she immediately fell in love woth the Pikachu. She picks her bear, heads to the stuffing station. The lady, while friendly, offers her a choice of 2 hearts, no big deal. Does not do the cute little saying Ive come to expect from there. (About kissing the heart, rubbing the heart, etc....) She then allows her to push pedal to fill the bear, no question of how soft or firm she would like it. Close the bear up and head to the washing station.There is no washing station. When I inquired, was told after renovation, there was no room for it, but they offer a selfie station. Cause you cant just take a picture anywhere. I understand every square foot equals dollars, but have you become so greedy that 28.50$ for a piece of cloth is more important than the Build A Bear experience? Fine we take the selfie and move to checkout.Would you like a backpack to carry your bear home for 5$? Wait, I just spent over 40$ with hoodie for a stuffed animal and you dont even include a box anymore? No bows? I think profit is important, you need it to pay the bills, but is it so important you have forgone the little touches that makes a 40$ bear more worthwhile? Very disappointed.
