I brought my car in for estimate. I was able to schedule next day which was nice. Bianca helped me and told me I would be emailed within few hours. That was a Friday. I received nothing all day so I called to inquire, another lady answered when I called and told me that I would receive it by end of business day Monday. Still nothing Monday so I call again and was told that Bianca had been out sick Monday. She took my name and number and told me she would have Bianca call me back. I have yet to receive call. We’re going on Wednesday now. This seems to be a pattern reading the other reviews. I will not be using this place. If it takes this long to get estimate, how long would it be to fix my car??? Yikes

Tried to obtain an estimate on my vehicle for body damage. After a few days passed and not receiving the estimate via email I contacted their office and was informed the database was corrupt. Then a couple hours later I received a phone call from the receptionist regarding my scheduled appointment for repairs. When I tried to explain the situation in not receiving an estimate the receptionist was unable to fully comprehend. Then she wanted to schedule additional time for me to set-aside out of my busy schedule to meet with her when all I needed to do was drop off my keys. When she explained I needed to fill-out a couple of pieces of paper I asked why she just cant email them to me. At the conclusion, she agreed to email me the paper work, so that I may sign and return. Everything appeared to be fine. Than, a few minutes later I received a call from Gary who informed me that his receptionist was in complete tears. I explained that nothing was said to get her upset. Nevertheless, rather than investigate the details, he declined to perform the scheduled service repairs. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! It appears to me that the young, receptionist is apparently very immature and unable to conduct herself in a professional manner in dealing with customers with any issues and instead cries. This company does not know how to properly deal with the public. I do not recommend getting repairs here unless you intend to handle your business with kid gloves. This company certainly does not put the consumer first or make the consumer a priority, which makes POOR SERVICE.

I paid out of pocket and it was expensive. But, the quality is everything I was hoping for. They were clean professional and kept me updated regularly with emails and phone calls. Making sure approval was there before each procedure. And the administrator Michelle, maybe one of the most lovely people Ive ever met my life. I definitely would recommend this business.

This was generally an all around bad experience and I would not go back.1. I brought my car in on an insurance claim and asked the first girl I spoke with to get me a detailed estimate of what was getting done before anything was worked on. I reiterated this multiple times. I also asked her to have an unrelated spot touched up (if theres paint mixed already, why not?).2. It was a week or so before anyone followed up with me. Apparently the two things I had asked of her had been ignored and they began working on my car anyways and had no idea I wanted anything done other than repair from the accident.3. They responded same day with a quote for the additional repair, but I still had not gotten anything regarding what was being done to my vehicle. I reviewed the quote for the unrelated damages and questioned the time that would be taken for a very small repair.4. The GM (Mike) finally got back and gave me a detailed breakdown of the repairs that were to be made. At this point, it was really moot since they had already begun their work. Instead of explaining the quote that I had questioned, he gave me the following story (oh, and attached an image of it in case I was inspired by this).A giant ships engine broke down and no one could repair it, so they hired aMechanical #Engineer with over 40 years of experience.He inspected the engine very carefully, from top to bottom. After seeingeverything, the engineer unloaded the bag and pulled out a small hammer.He knocked something gently. Soon, the engine came to life again. The enginehas been fixed!7 days later the engineer mentioned that the total cost of repairing thegiant ship was $20,000 to the ship owner.What?! said the owner.You did almost nothing. Give us a detailed bill.The answer is simple:Tap with a hammer: $2Know where to knock and how much to knock: $19,998The importance of appreciating ones expertise and experience...becausethose are the results of struggles, experiments and even tears.If I do a job in 30 minutes its because I spent 20 years learning how to dothat in 30 minutes. You owe me for the years, not the minutes.So helpful and professional.5. The first girl, second girl (Michelle, who was very pleasant and very helpful), and Mike all confirmed that my car was to be done on April 23rd. Great. April 23rd rolls around and instead of calling or letting me know that it would be taking longer, it wasnt ready. I guess the wrong part had come in or something... whatever. But can you tell me about it? Instead, I had to return my rental and then go without a car for an additional 5 days, which wouldnt have happened had there been some simple communication...6. Finally got my car back and they did fine work. No complaints there. But I am upset that there was very little communication with me, my wishes were not being considered (which screwed me out of the opportunity to claim the insurance money instead of repairing the car) and the GM being unnecessarily snippy with me.In any case, Im glad to have my car back and wish to never deal with them again.

After trying a couple of places in Federal Heights to use Root insurance, Google found Karas for me. I was extremely pleased to pull in to a very clean lot. Very easy to navigate around and well marked. Inside, it was spotless and nice smelling. I was greeted by Bianca,who was polite, cheerful and knowledgeable.. I asked to see the service area, which she eagerly showed me. Again, neet, organized clean floors ...just what I was looking for! Bianca had me in and out in no time! She kept me informed and was just as quick when it was time to release my vehicle to me. My Rouge was so clean inside and out, it looked like it just left the dealer! For any body work that you need done, this is the BEST shop to trust!

If your insurance company doesn’t recommend them don’t go there. Took the almost a month for them to just paint over rock chips

I would highly recommend Karas Auto Body. I got into an accident mid October and my car sustained some significant damage. I had purchased my vehicle brand new on New Years, so it wasn’t even a year old. I was nervous about the outcome, but I’m pretty sure my car runs better now than it did when brand new. They also did an amazing job with the body work. Bianca, Mike and Eric were incredibly helpful and professional. They took care of everything with my insurance, which was one less stressful thing for me to deal with. I am grateful I found Karas Auto Body and will never take my care any where else.

Someone hit me in November 2019 and I needed an estimate quickly as I was leaving town the next week, KARAS got me in and got an estimate to my insurance company. I can’t thank them enough for accommodating my needs and being very professional and friendly. When I picked up my car it was absolutely beautiful and they detailed my car beyond what I had ever even expected. I will take any of my other vehicles back because of the service, professionalism and the friendliness of this business.

BEWARE! If I could give zero stars for this place I would! I would never recommend this place to anyone. People that work there work off commission so each estimates that I received were completely different. They charge for storage while you wait on the super high estimate. The contract states you don’t have to pay storage if you decide to move forward with the work, which I did, but still had to pay storage. The people that work there do not care about the person or the car, all they care about is money. Excuse after excuse with them. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!This is in response to Mike Karas response below:Mike states that I did not have insurance. This is correct, however that should not change the quality of the work that was done on my vehicle and the customer service that I received. My only budget that I had in mind walking into this shop was I would not pay more for repairs then the car is worth. Not having insurance is like judging a book by its cover. Unfair! He states after a month I decided not go through with the repairs, which is not true because repairs were completed on my car. It took them a month to get the estimate back to me with the diagnosis, and I was charge storage for the time it was at the shop being evaluated. At that time, I asked to speak with the manager and then Mike did remove about $250 from my total amount, but still had to pay around $900 in storage. I was informed that there was an issue with the battery, so I brought in a new battery, and they installed it. After that, I was then told there was something else wrong with a fuse to the battery. Mike stated he would get my vehicle in drive-able condition which I agreed on, so I held off on the cosmetic repairs. When I picked up my vehicle, I was told by Bianca I need to hold a screwdriver to the battery and while doing that another person needs to start the ignition. That is the only way it would start. I cannot turn the headlights on or the car would shut off, and once I turn the car is turned off, I would need to repeat the steps with the screwdriver each time to start. This is NOT drive-able condition! I did write a negative review so that others are aware of my experience. Mike reached out to me a few days later and offered for me to bring my car back in to fix the fuse (only no charge if it is a 2hr fix) but said an additional diagnose would need to be done. Why wasnt this found with the first diagnosis? I refuse to go back! I do not trust their work and do not agree with how they conduct business. I did respond to Mikes email (he stated I did not) and explained that I stand by my review and will never recommend or bring business to his shop.

Mike and his team did an excellent job on my car. They worked with my insurance company, who were not fully cooperative; and went the extra mile to get my vehicle fixed. My Buick now looks as good as when I bought it! I am highly satisfied with the work and detail they put into my car to restore it after the accident. Thanks Mike, Brianna, and team!

Josh and his team know how to take care of their customers. Needed some cosmetic things done to the right side of my truck that was defective from the last auto body shop. Everything looks wonderful, and now I have a reputable place that stands behind their work (other shop went out of business right away). Truck looks great, and they even mounted all my fender flares and tinted windows while the truck was already in the shop. Would definitely recommend!

Eric personally helped me every step of the way even when my own insurance did not, he helped me fight with my insurance month after month until we finally got the right parts approved. I brought my 2014 Accord in for some front end damage and rear quarter panel repair. The staff here is very friendly. I think the person doing the estimate was new as they did not know what kind of paint the shop used (PPG). To me that was important and she did find out for me. Also, the estimate for repair and repaint quarter and rear bumper cover apparently did not include small dings in the paint that I clearly pointed out. The final cost was nearly 300.00 more than estimated. It just seemed that someone with experience doing estimating would have caught that. Now the good news is when I picked up the car it looked outstanding. Whoever did the detailing on it was almost as picky as I am. The interior and exterior were spotless. No dust or residue whatsoever. I was really impressed with how clean it was. I can highly recommend this shop.

I went in for a fender bender on my rear bumper. They made sure I was 100% happy with the outcome! I researched a lot of shops before I found this one (Google reviews looked great) and I was not disappointed. I was very happy with the outcome of my car. Looks better than when I took it in! Highly recommended!

Best body shop experience I have ever had! Our insurance company recommended another shop that told us they could not get my car in until sometime in January. I called Karas and they told me they could start the following Monday. I was kept up-to-date on the status of the repairs and they finished a day earlier than projected. The workmanship was excellent and my car is back to looking new again! Everyone we dealt with was friendly, professional and provided exceptional customer service - including getting a baking dish I need for Thanksgiving out of the back of the car. I am recommending Karas to all everyone I know!

Brought my relatively new car in for hail damage repair. I got the car back quicker than expected and the car looked as good as new. They worked with my insurance company (Allstate) and between the two of them everything was taken care of without much input from me, it was great. There was a problem with the windshield washer not spraying, but the issue was eventually resolved. It was a pleasure working with Brianna, shes very friendly, always smiling and does her best to help with any issue.

Horrible service. I could of googled how to do auto body repair better then these guys. Your better off putting a add on facebook market place offering some one parts and 50 bucks. Their customer service is horrible. Also looking though the reviews if you start to put me down like you do your other customers i will be glad to file a complient with the BBB. After a month of fighting with the people this was finally made right. Glad the auto body shop stepped in and helped as well since they refured me to them.

Hands down this is the worst auto body shop I have ever worked with!!! I have called multiple times and left multiple voicemail for the owner Mike and he will not return my calls. They have already received our insurance money and our deductible but have not completed the work on our car!!! We paid the auto body shop before we inspected our car, this was our mistake. We inspected our car and the paint is not completely done leaving room for rust to settle in and our clear bra was not on and we add other items that were not fixed in a professional manner. This happened on a Monday. Eric the Tech guy says give him until tomorrow to fix the rest of the car issues and we agreed. 1 day turned into 1 week. So we go back to inspect our car and it is worse then the first time!!! Now we notice that our right front quarter panel doesnt fit and now we have a gap between parts, we checked the inside of our car and we notice that our back up camera is disconnected, grease marks on insides of the car, our cargo net disconnected and our gas was used up. We left our car at the auto body shop with a full tank of gas and it shows at a half a tank of gas!!! What a nightmare. As of this review, Mike the owner has not returned our call as to when they will finish the repairs, clean the inside of our car, and fill our tank up!!! We spoke to our insurance agent and she said the auto body has received payment for the additional cost and that was 2 weeks ago. Going on 3 weeks from approved insurance and still no communication from Mike or anybody in his shop telling us when to come in. I would not recommend this auto body shop to anyone. Take your business to a legitimate and professional auto body for your business. Do not waste your money and time with an owner that doesnt care, all he wants is the money!!!

I have actually had 2 different experiences with Karas Auto Body. I had wrecked my car on Christmas Day of 2014... When working with my insurance, I had decided to go to the one that Ive seen on Pearl St. for as long as I can remember. Always had nice cars outside. Very busy. Granted the circumstances the did very well to make sure that I stayed in the loop when it came to what the damage was, what it would take to fix it, and the time they would need to make sure it was done right. I was very pleased with my car when I got it back, and felt it better than before, as I drive an older vehicle. Fast forward to now, and I had a nasty collision in my same car. I took it back to the pros, only to arrive at a much larger facility, and an appropriately staffed work space, with very kind familiar faces, and just as engaged new ones. Whenever I needed to call, if who I was calling for was unavailable, the others were very willing and able to assist me. I was very proud to see how their business has grown over such a short time. And it can certainly be attributed to their excellent customer service, kind, family friendly atmosphere, with the utmost professionalism. You can rest assured that you and your vehicle are in good hands. I highly recommend them for any of your auto body needs! Great people to work with, accompanied by quality work!

Great experience at Karas Auto Body. From start to finish these folks were great to work with. My Legacy got pummeled by hail in May and now looks brand new again! The staff is phenomenal and Kelsey kept me in the loop on a weekly basis. Would recommend going here without hesitation!

They got my truck running again after a major collision. Without full coverage insurance, I had to pay out of pocket, but they helped me get it running again in a few days for a reasonable price, and the final price was even under the estimate. The trucks still running fine a few weeks later, and it looks way better than I expected it to. Hopefully, I wont need their services again soon, but if something goes wrong again, I would definitely return.

I have a 370z that had a damaged hood from some super corrosive bird poop. The hood needed to be stripped, primed, painted, and cleared (Full repair from scratch). This is a pretty high end car and my baby, so I wanted it to be perfect. I also have done body work on an amateur basis and know enough about it to catch most mistakes a body shop will make.The repair took 2 business days, so it was relatively fast. It would be hard to do it any quicker, considering the cure times involved before they added a clear bra to my car. I showed up and looked it over... and it was PERFECT! The color was a perfect match. Ive looked in many different angles and cant catch a visible difference. They also did an awesome job on wet sanding and buffing the hood. The finish looked like glass, with not one bit of orange peel.Karas did a perfect job on my Z. Perfect paint match, no flaws in or under the base/clear, quick turn around, very fair pricing too. I give them two thumbs up and A++++!

Everyone from the receptionist to Josh were great! They updated me regularly on where they were with ordering the parts and repairing my car. When I picked my car up it looked perfect! They even cleaned out the inside of my car and vacuumed it. I didnt expect that. If I happen to need a auto body shop will know I dont have to look any further. Good work!

About a month ago I was in a car accident and my Jeep was pretty mangled. My Jeep mechanic recommended this shop to have the body repaired. This place made it a easy process to fix my Jeep and get me back on the road. I would definitely recommend this place for auto body repairs. They kept me updated about the process and were very personable. They take care of you and your vehicle. My Jeep looks amazing with their quality work.

I am sure the work they do is satisfactory, but my initial experience had me go elsewhere. They came out and took pictures of the car and told me they would use that to give me a rough estimate of the cost to repair and that I would get the estimate in 2 hours. 4 hours later I cared and was told it would be out soon. Another 3 hours later I received the quote at the end of the day. Went to other shops afterward and each shop quoted me 1500 less than what I was quoted here and could complete the work 7 days sooner.

Took my car here after my brand new car was mangled by a big hail storm. They were one of the only shops that were willing to even take my car in a reasonable time frame. I have a 2012 Mercedes Benz and was nervous every about taking my car to any body shop and came across here by recommendation and couldnt be happier with my choice. They were able to explain the whole process with ease and dealt with the insurance company from start to finish. As far as the repairs go all the body lines lined up perfect, the color matched the same, they also took the extra step to touch up some scratches as a courtesy. Overall I was very pleased and will be coming back in the future for any repairs I highly recommend them!

I brought our Suburban to Karas for repair of hail damage. The shop evaluated and determined that additional work was needed beyond what was noted by the original insurance estimate, they worked seamlessly with State Farm to get additional funding. Kara’s did a great job with the bodywork and replacement of parts including the roof, hood and bumper, along with extensive paintless dent removal. At delivery time, there were some significant finish and final presentation issues, these were compounded and probably caused by a staff member being out on leave at time of delivery. I noted all the issues with Mike (owner) and his team took responsibility and set up a new time to fix all the items. The final product was beyond our expectations.

They are amazing! My car had a ton of damage, tiny little scratches all over it. Karas took awesome care of it. They kept me updated and handled my insurance without me having to do little to nothing. It was great. I recommend, and I definitely will come back to them if needed in the future.Update: Over time the same scratches came back. In the same areas. Unsure if maybe a temporary filler was placed on them?

When I picked up my car I noticed another scratch that they had missed; they immediately jumped in and fixed it, and even helped me pay for an extra day with my rental car. I took my car to Karas because a friend recommend it, and they did a great job. A couple of months later, someone hit me in the same spot of last time. My insurance wouldnt release the check because they werent sureI got it fixed last time since literally it was the same place. I went to Karas and they handle everything for me! I took my car this time to them as well, they are always nice. They keep in touch with you to give you updates and have great customer service. I highly recommend it!!!

Over the last 10-years I have had the pleasure to get to know the owners of Karas Auto Body. It all started with having 4-kids that turned 16 and got their license to drive. I think I have brought each of my kids car in at least once and one of my kids became a regular customer through high school. I have had a positive experience each time I have had to bring a damaged car to Mike. I believe that Karas Auto Boby has given us excellent service with a very affordable price. We have used Karas with our insurance and without insurance, each time I feel that we were treated fairly and professionally. I believe they are honest and I would recommend them to any one that needed their car repaired.

Previously I had posted a harsh review. I felt that review should be removed in fairness to the owner. Initially the repair was not completed as expected. Mike contacted me and my husband to discuss our concerns, shortly after that review. Mike took our concerns very seriously, apologized, and asked if we would allow him to make things right. We allowed him to correct the errors and were not disappointed! Mike kept his word and did a phenomenal job on the repairs! Mike is unequivocally an honest man and exceptional business man. I had a simple windshield problem, the company that put the previous windshield did an awful job, so when we went to replace it, there was rust under the moldings, and the windshield repair company couldnt replace it. I called around to every windshield repair company to find out who they used for bodywork in similar situations, and all but a few recommended Karas. I then called every body shop within 15 miles of our location, and none of the other shops even knew what I was talking about - how is this possible? Their facility is beautiful, and everything screamed professionalism from the start. The work they did was amazing, and they even handled everything with the windshield repair company for me! I will be back with my hot rods!

They do great work and really keep you informed on their progress. Used them twice so far and have been very satisfied both times.

I have used Karas to repair my car on four separate occasions. The damage ranging from almost totaled to a minor fender bender. The owner, Mike, has been easy to work with all four times and my repairs have always looked great. Highly recommend them. Ive also told my own family if ever in an accident and need car towed, have it brought straight to Karas. High quality work done at Karas and they deal with the insurance companies.

Last month I was in my 1st accident, 1st time dealing with my insurance and completely stressed. I called a couple Auto Body shops and got the run around. I called Karas and they told me to come in the same day and explained to me how the process works including my options (that my insurance didnt even explain!) to make sure I wasnt taken advantage of. They were definitely an advocate FOR me when working with my insurance. Everyone in the shop was super friendly and even drove me up to Enterprise for my rental which they didnt have to do! They communicated with me throughout the repair process with constant updates. I now have my beautiful car back and honestly couldnt be happier! My car looks brand new - looks better than before I was in the accident!!

Mike and the friendly staff at Karas were Great. Had to drop off my truck there unscheduled to get the windshield channel repaired before I could get a new windshield installed.
