I went to Tire Discount back in May. I had to get two tires, they didn’t have it and sent me to Austin. So, after I got 2 tires we found out that my rim was busted. So, here at temple I had to get a new rim. Manny was the person who helped me. He was very friendly, however when I was promised updates I never received calls. I always had to call Tire Discount to find out about my rim. About a 3-4 weeks later I got my rim… I heard about 3-4 different stories about where it was until it arrived finally. I never got super upset with anyone. When it was time to exchange the rims, they broke my wheel lock. Sent me to a different place to find out they couldn’t fix it. So when I arrived back, I finally met the manager, who still chose not to talk to me. Which was amazing, I’ve been in customer service for 10+ years and never seen such bad customer service. A man in a suit got on his knees to try and help. They finally got it off. They said they had to get a new lock ordered. They never have once called me to inform me my wheel lock bolt has arrived. They still have my wheel lock box at their store. When I called (late august) they still had no information on it. It’s going to be September. I wish I could speak with a higher up person so my stuff is fixed by their mistake. I’ve been very patient.

I had to get my tires inflated and it was pouring down rain. The employee who did it was still so pleasant and friendly, evrn though he was soaked. I love Discount Tire Center and will not go anywhere else. They have always taken great care of me regardleas of which one I go to.

They were very informative and helpful when I knew very little about purchasing tires. Their prices are very fair and much more affordable than most other places I contacted. They were friendly, honest, and professional. Theyll allow you to wait there or come back when they finish. I would recommend to anyone who needs new tires.

Called Discount Tire and told them I had a nail in my tire and asked if they were busy (because I got shut down earlier from a different tire place) they were honest and said that they were but if I was willing to wait then they would gladly help me out. I came in the guy who helped me at the front desk (I forgot his name) was so pleasant! He said it would be about an hour and a half wait but they had me in and out within 45 min! The man who fixed my tire, Ron-Derrick was SO NICE!!! He showed me my fixed tire and also showed me that my rim was bent a little bit but he told me that it shouldn’t be a problem within the next few months when I plan to get my new car. He is such a knowledgeable, kind, honest man!! Even topped the rest of my tires off with air for me! These men work so hard!! I recommend this place 1000%!

For 15 years Ive taken all of my cars, my friends cars and anyone elses car who had a tire issue to the Temple Discount Tire. For 15 years they have never failed me! Not once! Let me put it into perspective. Ive probably been in that store over 100 times. EVERY SINGLE TIME they have been absolutely nice to me, smiled and helped me to feel welcome and confident. They have repaired so many tires for FREE! They have mounted and balanced plenty of wheels and tires for my multiple cars and have done an EXCELLENT job every time. I cannot say enough about the team at this Discount Tire. I dont work for this company, no one asked me to write this review either. I wanted to take the time out to make sure they were appreciated and to let anyone know who reads this that they are worth every penny you might spend in there.

A computer error has led to their employees not being able to think or apply reason. Anything that requires though I recommend you find another vendor. They are un-empowered robots. Give your hard earned money to someone that can think.

This is not speaking for all Discount Tires, but this store goes above and beyond from what I’ve seen and experienced. I’ve gotten all my tires from this Discount tire, and will continue to do so. Definitely recommend.

The staff at this location is so knowledgable and professional! I had to replace two tires on a busy Friday and they were able to get it done in under 30 minutes. I am always impressed by how efficient and friendly the guys at Discount Tire are.

Bryan was awesome! A very professional young man and polite the whole way through! I had a very pleasant experience and they have won me over from here on. They didnt use an impact wrench to tighten the wheel nuts. Instead, they used a torque wrench and did it the right way. The tire guys in this shop know how to do things and service is stellar. Saturday was busy and customers were abundant but the professional crew here kept on smiling. I wish I could give more than just 5 stars. Great job and thanks so much for your hard work.

I called about a nail in my tire while visiting my daughter in Texas and they said to bring it right in. They fixed it for free and kept me updated as to the progress. The gentleman who helped me was very polite and explained everything. Thank you for such great service!

Ron-Derrick is the man!! I came in today with my car for a simple tire pressure check, found out one of my tires was done for. Without any hesitation he was willing to give me a quote for a new one AND even went out of his way to make sure the service was done quickly as I had a previous engagement to get to. He personally found the correct tire and changed it all while still checking others tire pressures. I was in and out within 20 mins. I am very happy and grateful with the services he provided today. Wife bought tires at Discount tire in Temple Texas around 6 months ago. After buying a road hazard protection plan,there is always a charge of $40 to $90 dollars. Or, the tire she bought is discontinued. Then you have to wait on the tire to be shipped or drive to another city that might have the tire you need. After this nightmare of never ending of sending TIME and MONEY, I will never recommend Discount Tire to anyone!!!!From me they get no star!Charlie Watts

First off made the appointment online today for Friday afternoon and Manny called asked if I could reschedule today at anytime. Went in 20 mins after call and Manny came right out to greet me, told me to pull in the shop where Nick greeted me and said they had the tires pulled and ready to go. 30 mins later all 4 tires were mounted, balanced and installed. Easily ordered tires over the phone. I was notified when they arrived and told I could drop off the rims for tires to be mounted. Arrived and waited for 20 min while people behind me in line were helped. I was approached finally by a rude young guy who wanted to put me on a wait list even though I was just dropping off rims. He walked off and another guy came up who was helpful.

I had an appointment to get my tires rotated today. The gentleman at the counter, CW, was so friendly and helpful. There had been a bit of a mishap with my original appointment yesterday, so he helped me get rescheduled for today. Today he and the technician went out of their way to see that everything went perfectly smooth, which it did. The work was done in a timely manner with a professional, but warm attitude. We have always had top notch experiences every time we have bought tires and had them cared for at every Discount Tire location weve dealt with. This location did not disappoint, either. I would say they went above and beyond to provide most excellent customer service. I am most highly likely to buy the next tires I need from them again. Thank you, sirs, for the way you do business and provide such stellar service!

I bought the tires online and made an appointment for 9:30 this morning. Got here and checked in, someone immediately came to my car and greeted my by name. After that, they used my name every time they interacted with me. They’re already doing the install. It’s a madhouse here today and all of the service employees are using such kind tones and one said “thank you for being patient with me” to another customer. I will use them for every car forever now. They have won a customer for life. Also, they have the best prices I found. 4 new tires for my 2014 RAV4, with extended warranty, install, etc for $600. They turned what is normally a mundane, annoying experience into a pleasant experience.

Everything went smoothly. I ordered the tires online and when they arrived to the shop, I came in and they installed them within 30 minutes. They were pretty steady, but not crazy busy.

Lee Taitinfong was the best really worked with me to get new tires. Was very polite and courteous.

Though there was a misunderstanding on which tires would be best on my AWD and the wrong ones were placed on my rear tires, I returned the following day to discuss what had happened and was beyond pleased with how I was treated, compensated, and the expediency of resolving the issue. CW went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer. I understand mistakes are made, and I am very grateful that they were honest about the fault and compensated me with an additional 2 new tires. Will continue to return in the future due to the excellent customer service.

I had some issues, but they were from my own frustrations due to Covid restrictions....so they dont count, and truly PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE!! Over all, these young gentlemen took care of business exceptionally well and were polite. From the time I arrived (with an appointment) til the time I left with four new tires was about 45 min.....I might add thats quicker than my normal wait, and entails someone cutting in front of me who had no appointment. So - overall - they do a great job and I would recommend Discount Tire.

Love this store. Always have. Always will. Ive been coming to Discount for 30 years now. Their prices are competitive, but their service is even better. I always encounter extremely busy men and women that take time to listen. They have always taken care of my needs and the road hazard protection is truly no hassle. It takes awhile to get tires installed, but its well worth the wait. I appreciate that they take the time to look over the entire car (all 5 tires) and make logical suggestions. Typically, I can only afford 2 tires at a time. Yes, I miss out on the deeper discounts that way, but I havent felt pressured to buy 4. Having locations nationally is some peace of mind too for travelling

Normally I love this place. I will say their customer service is always fantastic and it does help if you make an appointment. I had my tires rotated/balanced there a little over a month ago. I noticed my front end would shake getting close to 60. Long story short, I went back and was told that two of my tires were facing the wrong way (some tires are designed to only go one way). So whoever did my rotation last didn’t know what they were doing. Just makes me a little more cautious.

We were part of a huge crowd that came in wanting new tires at the same time. How do you get that many people thru the process in an orderly, courteous, and professional manner? Well, they showed me how at Temple Discount Tire. We will return.

Got a set of BFG KO-2 Best deal on tires I have ever gotten! Been a customer about eight years, Only ever been mistreated twice and a manager fixed each issue. There are small things they could do better but its probably young inexperienced staff that need to hustle a bit, that really grinds my gears, lucky I only see a few of them every now and then. I would highly recommend them to you! We have bought no less that 16 sets and only 1set ever had a cupping issue. Never had a warranty replacement issue.

What makes me unhappy is the guy told me to come on in. That they were not busy at all. So unless you dont want to waste your time dont bother with this place. Its a joke. I was a big fan of discount tire stores till I moved to temple Texas.

I have been a very loyal customer for some years now an have never been so disappointed ever with a Discount Tire ever in my life, I had stoped by on 3/31/2021 to get a rotation and balance yes they were very busy the young man told me he could set a appointment on 4/ 2/ 2021 at 12:30 pm I tried to pull up at 12:20 pm for my appointment with cones across both drive ways I was told that they tried to call multiple times and email my wife there was one phone call with no voice mail or any email from them !!!!

Very courteous and professional. I had ordered four Cooper A/T tires for my 4Runner; they arrived in under 24 hours, and a representative called me to make an appointment for the following day within an hour of their arrival. Willie and Deandre (Sp?) were both extremely polite and engaging, and are just all-around awesome dudes. My family and I will be using this store from now on, as opposed to the others.

Well so far not too good. Im replacing all 4 tires. I might change this review depending on the customer service. I was told Id be able to drop it off and pay for the tires before I leave. Well I get inside and the guy said he has to get the people in front of me. I get that but I wanted to pay for them so I could take my gf to dinner and pick it up after. They wont let me pay for em. Guess they dont want my money might go somewhere else.

This has to be the best tire buying experience I have ever had. To begin with, I found the tires I was interested in being sold by another installer for a lower price. Using their websites tool to request a quote and take advantage of their offer to price match, I was contacted back within 1 hour with a promise to price-match and, even though the tires werent in stock at the time of purchase online, that they would be there the next day. Today, (the next day) I was contacted to be informed my tires were in and, from the time I left my house to the time I returned, was around 50 minutes. I am not the type to normally review stores or companies, but felt it was absolutely warranted in this case. Phenomenal experience and I would recommend them to anyone in the market for tires or tire services!

I had to wait 4 hours to get 2 tires put on my truck. They didn’t call me when they finished it, they waited until they were closing at 8:30pm to call me. Then they asked me if I would pay over the phone and they would leave my keys in the truck. I also asked them if they put my spare back under the truck and they said yes, which was a lie. I have never been treated like this from any Discount Tire that I have gone to. I have been going to this one in Temple ever since it opened, and I am very discouraged after today. They need at 2 more locations in Temple. They are way too busy and can’t handle the overload.

I purchase 4 new tires and had them installed. Service was great, as usual, until I had to come back, 5 minutes after leaving the shop, to claim that one of tire sensors was not working. After one of the techs verified that sensor was bad, he turn me in to the tech who had installed my tires, I believe his name is Alec, he did not talked to me and took his time to perform more testing before replacing sensor, that took him almost an hour. Management needs to train team members how to handle quality claims quickly and efficiently.

After having a flat on I-35 in a UHaul, I needed help fast. I took the tire to Discount Tire in Temple for a plug. They got me in and out in no time, despite the store being crazy busy. Caleb was very helpful and exemplified true customer service. Thanks Caleb!!!

This is the 3rd time we have bought sets of tires from there. Each time they had the best deal on the price and they had my car finished 30-45 min of us walking in the front door.
