Hair is Overpriced!!! Cheap!! Need better quality hair. Ive used different brands of hair from behind the counter(those usually are the best), and they shed like never before! Also need to get rid of the Outre purple label or purple pack, its GARBAGE! Main thing is for them to ensure the quality of their hair matches the price!Need to bring back Bobbi Boss crotchet hair too!Good for small things though like head wraps, combs, brushes, edge control, etc...

When I first walked in I had to wait over 30 minutes for someone to come to the bundle counter. The Remy co sold me hair under the premise that is it 10A virgin hair, it absolutely wasn’t and had a terrible feel to it. I went back fo return the hair after feeling it at home. They said they could only honor a exchange or gift card. Why would I want to buy anything here when they clearly lied about the quality of their products. I had much better luck going down to grand mart on baseline.

For one their prices are too high compared to other places. And 2, the customer service was not the best. 3 they all of the wigs out of reach and out of site. I didnt even buy anything because I wasnt sold anything. There was no effect on their part. In addition The Security guard contributed to the 1 star.

Remy Co. has an awesome selection of hair extensions and beauty supply products. I prefer the great customer service from United Beauty Supply in Mesa. If you need a place to go to in Tempe, this will do.

I was a regular customer until they randomly stopped selling 14 inch crochet hair like everybody in town wants 18 inch + long hair…ridiculous, I won’t be back.

My friends recommended them to me, easy to get to also.I recommend taking the Southern Street entrance vs Mills Ave, currently, theres construction and the exit has a deep dip. I dont like scraping the bottom of my car.

Just left, felt very uncomfortable as the lady at the counter wanted to overly review my card and ID, like there was fraud and a unpleasant attitude. I wonder if this is done with all customers or just ones with a darker skin tone. Ive seen the stereotypes with people shopping at beauty supplies and being racially harassed, but I honestly thought this was back in the day not in 2021. I will never shop there again!!

I tried to return some unopened extensions from this place and they said refunds/returns were accepted if the extensions were unopened, but they changed their minds as soon as I got there. The staff refused to communicate with me in English as well which made the situation very unfair. Overall the employees here were rude...i wish they have a zero star. Never come back here again

Have good synthetic hair and accessories at a good price but for their human hair selection its not the best. A lot of their human hair sheds a lot and after 2 to 3 weeks its trash sometimes a wash may help but not much. Prices are higher than what its worth lol but I mean its Arizona so beggars cant be choosers. The wig selection is meh.

A decent place if you need wigs and hair care immediately. They tape everything. And I mean tape everything down. I dont know if they have a theft problem but its kind of ridiculous. The wigs you can usually get online for cheaper but if you need it quickly youre guaranteed to pay $20 above online prices. Staff is usually nice and courteous.

Remy Co. has EVERYTHING you seek or ever sought and never found. You WILL find it there and at an affordable price for the most part. They have every shade of lipstick & liners, theres a galore of hair colors, styles and lengths, and multiple brands with an array of products from the same brand. Meaning if you use Eco Gel Remy Co. will carry all the gels they produce whereas other beauty stores may carry 3 of 7. The store always has at least 10 customers shopping yet Ive never had to stand in line longer than 2-3 minutes (including check out) because check out is efficient. Ill drive the few miles passing their competition because I know Remy Co. will have what Im looking for and 9 times out of 10 the competition wont. The ONLY thing that I dont care for is how they tape the anti theft device to every product lol I loath having to battle getting the tape off and/or having to leave it on and cut thru it. (An OCD thing!) With all that said, Remy Co. is my one stop shop; make it yours too!

The positive of this hair store, is that they have a great selection of hair and wigs. They also stock Freetress brand hair, which is rare in metro Phoenix. However, the prices are quite high; typically more than double what you’d pay online for the same brand and type of hair. Additionally, the store owners are not particularly friendly or welcoming either. I’m sure they have their reasons, but they’re overly curt and suspicious. There are sometimes unrelated employees working, and these ladies are usually very friendly and personable. I notice that they don’t last at this location very long, for whatever reason. Overall, I go to this hair store when I’ve procrastinated and waited too long to order my hair online before a hair appointment. Or if I need a wig or ponytail super quick or on a whim. Otherwise, I prefer to shop online and use YouTube to scope out new styles.

Prices are reasonable. Tank aka Akiani is a excellent worker, she greets you with a smile on her face and in her voice I think,she is the most knowledgeable worker in the store. She knows her wigs!!! I like that they have a variety of selections for hair. However, be prepared that are pricey. My experience has always been pleasant and the customer service was better than some other beauty supplies stores I have stopped at. What keeps me coming back is the products I use are always stocked. I will pay extra for good customer service and reliability of the product.

I would love it if there wasnt a ton of packing tape on everything you buy. You have to carry a good pair of scissors with you to get to your purchase of youre not going home to use it.

Have attempted to shop here several times. Only the younger staff member is helpful. The other staff are impatient and less helpful. The hair products are generally unflattering and standard hair care items are very overpriced.It is a decent sized store with a good variety of inventory. It is one of the better hair supply sites in the east valley as there are not many ethnic hair stores to select from. It would benefit greatly from having better styles and quality for hair products (human hair wigs, and other wigs, bundle selections, braiding hair, etc).

They had what I went in for but the choices were scarce and there is an AWFUL scent in the store that I could smell through my thick mask! Price was decent, however.

Customer service from the OWNER is HORRIBLE!!!!! Super rude and will argue with you. Called before making the drive down there and employee said I could get exchange for hair that didn’t match that was barely purchased an hour before. Get there and owner stands there with her stank face saying no. The employee even admitted to the owner to telling me that and owner still did not honor. Will NEVER return again. Waste of money for hair that’s never gonna get used now. Would do no stars if possible.

They got rid of most of their clothing selection. Mostly hair, hair care products and some makeup!Dont come close to closing time because they try to shut down early sometimes. The owners have been very friendly a few times but mostly pretty quiet.I wouldnt come here with many questions though, their product knowledge is very limited.

Been going here occasionally for 4 years, and the staff is almost always rude. Was in here earlier today, and all the girls were behind the counter laughing, joking like clowns, when customers needed help. I asked for help, but practically got brushed off. The owners also watch you, especially if you are black (it is not obvious with me, but pretty sure people can tell).Their lack of customer service is obviously a huge issue, yet they have done nothing to correct it. Horrible.

I drove from Arrowhead to Tempe because I was told this was 1 of the best hair supply places in the Phoenix area. Boy was I disappointed. It smelled so bad that I couldnt shop like I wanted to. A woman watched me stand at the wig location and never bothered to help me. I then approached her and she ignored me and another lady looked at me and I asked for assistance. She sent a girl back with me she also had no customer service. I approached the counter to pay and I wasnt greeted and when I showed my ID for my credit card purchase ahe stared as if it didnt matched several time. I will not be back!

I bought a 8.00 brow pencil got it home it had no pencil in it. The next day I bought it back with my receipt and advise that There was nothing in there. The owner said he would not refund it which was fine I just wanted one that worked. He said he could not exchange it for me because he had never seen that happen. I told him me either and I buy theses often from here. I spend so much money with this place. I don’t appreciate how I was treated I will never go here again.

I only come here when I absolutely cant go anywhere else. I dont like how the lady in the front.. I believe she is an owner.... Acts. Her customer service is disgusting. She is argumentative with people. There are so many other places to go. I come because they do have a lot of good brands of hair. The selection is good but they run out of stuff too fast and then you have to deal with the crazy owner lady about ordering or when they will get it in. Overall I would say only come if you cant find something anywhere else.

Employees were not very knowledgeable. The main issue was the way I was treated when I expressed the fact that I was looking for some clip ins on the low end price range so I could expiriment for my wedding. The first set she showed me were almost $300. I politely explained again that I was looking for something I could experiment with. She then brought me the $180 clip ins. I again asked for something cheaper. She rolled her eyes and was very rude. She made me not want to buy anything there. Found some for $100 and some great tips somewhere else

DONT BUY HAIR FROM HERE. Bought a new packaged wig and get home and realized the wig has a huge tear from the lace to the part in the hair. They refused to acknowledge the issue and dismissed it saying its policy that they can’t do anything about it

Scammers!!!!! DO NOT BUY ANY WIGS FROM THEM THEY ARE ALL HORRIBLE AND FAKE HAIR! I purchased two wigs $120 & $270 two different brands one curly and another body wave. The $270 wig (came out to almost $300 after taxes) didn’t last 2 days it won’t stop tangling so I tried washing it. It didn’t work then I tried adding product with each wash no curl crèmes, oils, or moisturizers will work. I look closer and the highlights are actually elastic and not real hair. Took it back for an exchange or some customer service and was told final sale and i need to contact the manufacturer. The owner stated this while dismissing me while I politely spoke to him while he was being rude. I’ve been to this place in the past and recommended it for many women of color but I’d never go again due to the horrible customer service and faulty products.

I literally found everything I was looking for. Compared to traveling left and right everything needed for anything ethnic is found at this store. So worth the trip and money spent will be returning here.

Terrible customer service and no one is ever around to help. Most items are usually out of stock. They have young high school girls working there,that have no clue about the products.

I think Remy Co in Tempe and I are no longer on business friendly terms. Ive been coming here for about a year. They have a large selection of items although usually I still cannot find what I want in the crochet hair aisle and they often have limited colors and styles because the inventory hooks in my colors are often low. The non-Asian employees are friendly although poorly trained, but there is high staff turn-over. There was actually a sign on the door soliciting new hires and one of the girls was new too. The Asian female managers/owner is usually polite to me. However, I notice they are often rude to other Black clients. I still shopped there because I buy things last minute.Every time I come here Im told that I can use the discount card for 10% off. However whever I try to use it there was always some reason why I was not allowed to use it. Today I asked about using it again and more confusion arose. They asked for my phone number and I gave it to them and my number was in their system. But apparently someone elses name was attached. We checked the number several times -- the cashier typed in many times. My number. Ive had the same number for over 30 years. It was finally partly cleared up when the Manager/Owner Mr. Li was called over that the 10% they were talking about was for licensed people and that they have a bonus card. But first Mr. Li starts going on about how they dont have a discount at all and hes been here for 5 years blah blah.I just looked at him. Im considered a rather smart, rational person. I did not just imagine the female managers giving me pink cards and telling me about a 10% discount. The way Mr. Li responded suggested he thought I was making up what the others had said. In fact he said, Ive never said that to you. I know that no one has said that to you.Hmmmm. First, Mr. Li has never once waited on me so he is correct. He himself has never said anything at all to me about a discount. Second, his statements implying that I was wrong and making things up was not supported by the many times the Asian ladies told me this. And also that my telephone number was in their system. Finally, after displeasing me greatly he recalled that they DO have a discount program -- he called it a bonus card -- and he got one and held it up. I said yes, I was asking about my discount for using the pink card. He said there is no discount for using the card. I asked if there was no discount then why are you giving out cards to customers? He then remembered that you can get $5 off using the bonus card. I said thats interesting. For a year Ive been told that was a 10% discount card. And tried to use it and always been blocked. And you admit to having a 10% discount program. But not for me. And you have remembered your pink card. But now its only a $5 discount. Fair enough. Maybe his employees or relatives were confused when speaking English. But his manner in handling it was lacking in customer service. He also made a side comment about how he wanted to close. He really wasnt interested in providing me a good customer experience. And I felt that. And suddenly Id had enough from him and the rudeness at that store.Usually I spend over $100 each time I visit. But I no longer wanted Remy Co. to have my money. I needed a few things for a hair appointment the next day and so I purchased those things. I gave over $50 worth back to be reshelved. I let him ring it up and rebag everything. I politely reminded him to put a pink card in bag after he failed to do so (Really dude?! We just now had the long conversation about the pink card and you short changed me again). I didnt remind him that he AGAIN did not take off the $5 discount from the bonus card.After I picked up my bag of items I told him politely that I do not imagine things and that his staff has communication issues and needs to be trained on the bonus card. I also reminded him that my telephone number is in his system and that needs to be fixed.I guess I will shop for a different customer experience with their competition instead.
