While riding on 275 I hit a small hole in the road. The shock caused the riser bolts on the springer to simultaneously snap completely detaching the handlebars from the front end.After having the bike towed to a HD dealer they said they couldnt fix it. I had it taken over to Thunder Bay Cycles. They drilled out the top of the springer legs (where the riser bolts screwed into) and re-tapped them from 1/2 to 5/8. They sent the new bolts out to be chromed and put it back together in better shape than before the incident. I would highly recommend them for any repairs Harley related.👍

Good shop, welded up a bike part when no other shop had the tooling or know how to do it. They are a harly only shop but that did not stop them from helping out a fellow Kawasaki man pursue his riding passion while waiting for a foreign part to come in. Fantastic team here. For what was supposed to be a temporary fix turned into a Permanent one. I still replaced my part but i got the old one hung up in my shop because their welding workmanship on cast aluminum is one fine piece of work that im sure would have taken decades of abuse, had i of kept it on the bike. Thank you thunder bay for helping the biking community no matter what we choose to cruise the roads on!

I took my Harley there an 883 Sportster for the lights theyve been fixing it it was all messed up had to change a few things Ive been knowing about that place since I was a young boy I am now 63 years old and theyve been there a long time Ray technician a says that he has a 27 year experience and I guess the other guys had the same or maybe even more I dont know but I rate this place very high I think youre even better than Harley-Davidson itself

I was knee deep rebuilding my 05 Bid Dog Chopper, and sold my house (and my garage with it) before it was complete. I brought the parts over to TB and they managed to bring that beast back to life. Not only were they courteous, they really took an interest in making sure my bike was put together properly and safely. There were a couple surprises such as my controller being shot, both expensive and overdue, they immediately called and worked though the problem with me to come to a solution. Most importantly was the price. My job was involved, but they kept it honest and straight forward. I cannot say enough about this company. I will keep brining my bike back! Thanks gents!

Owner shook my husbands hand on camera stating that he could help us as we needed a piston for our 41 knucklehead to complete our cross country race. Told us we could use his shop and rebuild our motor. After the cameras were off he took hours to answer the phone only to tell us that we were not allowed to use his shop. Had we known how we would be treated we could have spent that time sourcing a piston elsewhere. Thank you to the real bikers that helped us out and got us back on the road. Sometimes people suck.

Rode in from NC last night, a gremlin got in my tail light. Not only did these guys get me in as soon as I called (both HD dealerships couldnt and basically laughed at me for trying to get a same day) but they diagnosed the problem, fix what I couldnt with my road tools, and then told me what part I should consider replacing at my leisure (to save me money). If I had got into the HD dealership they would have charged me more than double what I ended up paying and they would have kept my bike all day.
