Had them rebuild my brothers bike that was sitting for 10 years blown apart as a memorial bike! Every bit professional and caring of the situation! The entire shop is top notch would highly recommend them for any needs! Thanks guys!!
Went here to get my rear tire charged and they said 4 to 6 weeks and I already had the tire lol 😆 went to Rads cycle he did it the same day within 2 hours done. These guys act like they dont want to work.
Love these guys. Had a couple of days before going out of town had an issue with my bike they wrapped it up even in the time crunch. Thanks guys the trip was excellent
Best independent bike shop in the area. They helped us out tremendously while traveling through the area. High recommend to stop by and visit them. They have a lig of experience and knowledge.
Super nice people, extremely knowledgeable about the motorcycle industry!! No repair to small or large, full service shop.
Excellent people to deal with. I took my 96 softail to them to diagnose and fix an oil leak between the engine and primary. They went above and beyond to make sure it was fixed correctly and made sure I got the bike back in a timely fashion. Definitely plan on using them for any future work I need done on my bikes.
Very friendly very experienced and very willing to help you all you have to do is be nice thats how it should be great place
Ive been to many shops in my 50 yrs on motorcycles. Hands down, The Ride Factory is seriously the most down to earth shop Ive been to. There was no question too dumb to ask and they were happy to teach and show whatever your question is. They really do make you feel at ease and part of the family. Summer, Brian and the rest of the crew were honest, hardworking, professional and very knowledgeable. I never felt pressure or experienced hard up-sells. In fact they tried hard and succeeded in saving me money whereas other shops well, I never felt that way. Its very refreshing that they keep their promises and went the extra mile to get me back on the road in a very short amount of time with a lot of work to be done!. Brian even gave me a part off of his bike to meet the last minute deadline on something I never even asked to be fixed with no extra charge or second thought! These people Rock! Im done with the Harley dealership, these guys have won my business I wont be going anywhere else. Thanks again, to Summer, Brian, Mikey, Shelby and Willie
Anytime Ive ever needed to have anything done they took great care of me. Theyre awesome people. Fair prices and they know what theyre doing.
Called for some info (not as a customer) and spoke with Shelby. He was kind and extremely Helpful even knowing they were not going to make a sale. He had no problem spending 20 mins on the phone cross referencing part numbers to make sure I had the right info and I can’t thank him enough!!! This is definitely a place I will do business with Just from the customer service alone!!!!
They did a great job of recommending how I could get my motorcycle towed in. Once it was there they diagnosed the issue and repaired it within a few hours. The labor Rate was more than fair and was done at an excellent pace. There were no extraneous charges dropped out of nowhere and it was much appreciated that they got me back on the road very quickly. As a veteran living in the Tampa Bay area I would highly recommend them to every and any of my fellow veterans. This was for a 2001 Harley Davidson Dyna wide glide.
Quick efficient service and friendly knowledgeable people a pleasure to do business with
Excellent staff and work done on my Bike!!
Somer and Bryan are the best in the business!! Great Place, great People!
Called yesterday and was greated by somer with nothing but ways to help my issue, brought it in this morning and they were able to squeeze me in super quick and fix my rear brake issue and get me back on the road. First time coming here but wont be my last. Extremely pleased with how professional and quickly everything was done 😊 thank you again!!!
I have serviced all of my Harleys over the years at The Ride Factory. Summer and Brian are awesome and always go the extra mile. They put all of the dealers to shame! I threw a hard problem that I was having with my Dyna Wide Glide at Brian and sure enough after much hard work he came through. Many hours were spent on his own time and he didnt even charge me for it. He and Summer are just like that...They really want to make sure that things are done right and that the customer is more than satisfied. They really do care about not only the bike but the customer as well! I dont think anyone else could have solved the issue that I was having. No one else will ever touch one of my bikes. They have earned my business for life.
The Ride Factory is the most down to earth shop, Got my Harley-Davidson work on and installed ape hangers very knowledge team excellent service, I will not go anywhere else for service.
Back on my bike after a 35 year sabbatical. A friend of mine with a Big Dog had recommended The Ride Factory to me, so after purchasing a good friend Fatboy, I took it to the Factory. I needed a new front tire, 10,000 service and the carburetor needed some serious attention. The guys and gals at The Ride Factory, made so recommendations as to so upgrades and explained how it would help my bike without a hard sell and they were spot on. In 3 days all the part arrived and install, as promised. I appreciate Brian making some totally unrelated adjustments and his follow up call the next day to see if I was satisfied, now that is service. Thanks, Ride Factory, you have a great team.
What a great experience. Brian is incredibly knowledgable and went the extra mile to help me understand various approaches to getting the modifications that I wanted and what they all entailed. Work was done incredibly fast and flawlessly for a great price. Im glad to have a go-to mechanic in town now. Highly recommend.
Took my bike here To get my new seat put on and my new air cleaner and exhaust and rear shocks. Did a great job and in timely manner. Thank you
Great place, knowledgeable friendly staff. Good job on repairs. You can trust you are in good hands when you bring your bike here. Nice little gear store too. I found the perfect shoulder bag. Any time we need repairs, this is where we are going, and you should too.
I like this place. Super nice crew that runs it always ready with a tech tip for whatever you are working on. Prices cant be beat and I would definitely recommend checking them out.
TRULY HONEST PEOPLE. BRIAN AND SOMER REALLY KNOW MOTORCYCLES AND ARE EXTREMELY FAIR. ALWAYS COOL BIKES TOO SEE THERE ALSO. REALLY CREATIVE STUFF
They come highly recommended
I have been getting my Harley maintained at The Ride Factory for about 2 years. I have scheduled maintenance and performance work done. My last performance work was to replace the cams to go with my stroked motor. My bike has never ran better. I am very appreciative to have The Ride Factory only 20 miles down the road. I can attest to their expertise and far prices. Thank you Brian and Summer for your high quality service both mechanical and customer related. A loyal customer!Edmond
These guys are awesome! Each time I go to them for something they go above and beyond the work I came to do. For example, I had some adhesive gunk on my gas tank. I came to pick up my bike after having some wiring work done to it. To my pleasant surprise, the gunk was removed even though I didn’t specify it and I know it took some effort. They are meticulous, perfectionists and very reasonable in their pricing. These folks genuinely care about their customers. I’ll definitely be back.
This place does not do quotes even if they promise they will. I’ve taken two bikes here, I was told I’d receive quotes for both, but instead I get a phone call two days later saying the bikes are done. I don’t even know what tires I got for the second bike. They also cut out half of my LED lights from my second bike without telling me and left the wires bare. The least they could’ve done is told me they had done it, instead of me having to find out the following out myself. So now I have to fix the LEDs myself and currently my bike has an open short.Their work is okay and fast, but their customer service is abysmal. I will never come here again despite it being two miles from my house.
Wow, just wow. Had a gas leak and took it to a brand name place on 60 and got a ridiculous quote to replace a laundry list of items. Something smelled fishy so I started calling around, and came upon The Ride Factory. I was immediately impressed with the friendliness and knowledge of the staff as well as their attention to detail. They spent a good five minutes asking me questions to help diagnose the problem. I had been looking for an alternate shop to take my bike. I finally had a an excuse, was fed up with the other place treating me like a piggy bank, and gave them a shot. One of the best vehicle decisions I have ever made. After a proper diagnosis, nothing needed to be replaced but an o-ring! And the # of hours I was charged was less than what I was told it would take over the phone. That to me, screams honesty. Customer for life, thank you The Ride Factory!
Brian at the Ride Factory has been Awesome!! I just had a Custom Chopper built by a local builder in Tampa that needed quite a bit of fine tuning and what turned out to be redesigning in order to receive reliability and maximum performance. Brian at the ride factory spent a tremendous amount of time and effort in providing perfection. His attention to detail is far beyond my expectations and although my bike was was definitely a project the staff at The Ride Factory not only provided Stellar Customer Service their follow up and results were Incredible!!! I highly recommend that anyone that owns a Harley or custom built chopper definitely should use the Ride factory for all mechanical and performance needs!!!
I just had to share the exceptional experience I had with Summer and Damien at The Ride Factory. I found a used Harley on their site that I was interested in. The buying process was painless, no obsessive back and forth. I received the paperwork within a couple days of agreeing on a price and the bike was ready to be shipped a couple days later. This is nothing truly out of the ordinary but what blew me away was the condition of the bike was better than they had advertised. I have purchased vehicles and motorcycles sight unseen before and have just come to expect that there will be issues, either mechanical or cosmetic, that are note being mentioned. Not the case with this beauty! The paint was nearly flawless (the bike is 12 years old), no digs or dents, and it runs like a dream!I cannot thank the crew at The Ride Factory enough.
Brian + Summer are Great people to deal with. They are both very professional, Theyll go out off there way to take care of there customers. They Store front is very clean + they keep the Shop up also. Summer will take the time to chat with if its not busy.they work on everything there and build some Wild Customs. I even stop by one day when they were close and Brian just happened to be there, he opened up for me and sold me what I need. Definitely recommend The Ride Factory.
What a crew! I dropped off my M/C Friday after 4 and they had it diagnosed on Saturday. Mind you, my bike is a 13 y.o. Yamaha RoadStar with previously butchered wiring.Reasonable pricing, competent and fast service. Patronize with confidence in a clean, comfortable and well run shop. And look at a great selection of very cool and serviced bikes for sale while you wait!
This place rocks. Somer, Brian and the crew Are amazing. Their support for the LEO and military family in the community is exemplary. Constant communication, great service. Honest motorcycle service and sales centers are getting hard to find these days and I have found both at The Ride Factory. Thanks guys!
Super friendly and helpful!!
Took my bike in to get ape hangers installed and a deluxe detail. The Ride Factory did an excellent job with a fast turn around, wouldn’t go anywhere else for services in the Tampa area. Awesome staff with great attention to detail.
Needed a part..I ordered it wasnt exactly what I needed ..the factory stepe in help me with the right piece..got order ..but went beyond ..thank you guys and ladies it in
Had them install 14 bagger bars on my 2014 Street Glide. They called me in to set the bars before wrapping her up. Expertly done. Didnt overcharge me either, price was perfect for the job and they were done a day early too. Definitely recommend these guys.
The folks at the ride factory treat me like a god. They always answer questions, give you fair pricing and will make deals on merch if they can. They are worth every penny!
The Ride Factory is by far the most helpful, professional, a honest independent motorcycle shop in the area. I highly recommend them for any of your motorcycle needs regardless of the scope. I will only take my bike to them. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating no matter how small or large the issue. When my bike went down in an accident they did an amazing job in repairing it better than it was before. Both Sommer and Bryan, are extremely knowledgeable and honest people who go out of their way to make sure both your interest and the well being of the bike are taken care off.In addition, they stand behind their work and make sure that any issue is taken care of without trying to nickel and dime you. I had an issue where an item on the bike that was replaced by them had failed and they went above and beyond to remedy the issue. In reality, the issues was not necessarily their fault but more of a freak incident but they asked no questions and made sure they took care of the situation. This issue could have been a back and forth battle of liability but they went above and beyond and fixed the issue without question. You may be able to find smaller shops around that may be slightly cheaper but you will not find a place with as much experience and integrity than the The Ride Factory, and to me that is something i do not mind paying for.
The shop I used in Largo went out of business so I took my Street Glide to The Ride Factory. Needed some brake work. Awesome service. Awesome price. Awesome place. You need your bike fixed... you bring it there.
Solid shop with an outstanding group of people! Cant recommend this place highly enough!
Already respected for custom work and service on Harley Davidsons they also work on vintage bikes. Brought them my 1977 Honda 550Four Super Sport and it’s never run better. They did a thorough review and fixed the carbs, leaking break fluid, loose cam chain, and clutch. Plus an oil change. Good service and great people
These guys are the best! They got my bike running like a top. I cannot thank the staff enough. Somer was very attentive, knowledgeable, and help me with my questions. Brian and the crew were very thorough and professional. Their prices are reasonable. My bike has not run this well ever. I cannot imagine using any other garage. Thanks again, guys.
Knowledgable owner and staff. Easy access and quality work..
Phenomenal service...had a clutch problem with my Ducati. The bike was towed there in the late afternoon hours with all work done by the next afternoon. Brian went over all of the work performed on the bike and gave me tips on keeping it running smoothly for the future. Very reasonably priced. Not only that, but I received a follow-up call the next day to make sure the ride home went well without any further problems. I will use this shop alone for all of my motorcycle service and repair needs in the future!
Great place to have your bike serviced. Knowledgeable friendly staff. Highly recommended!
A while ago I lost my main mechanic and he recommended this placeI wouldnt trust anyone else to wrench my ride besides The Ride FactoryHonest-Reasonable-Reliable People that work thereGreat job to all
Awesome
Great folks work at this local shop. I doubt if Ill ever take my bike anywhere else as long as I live in the area. Every cruiser owner I know recommends TRF.
Very cool place! Its in an old school gas station. Every kind of motorcycle. They sell bikes, they work on bikes, and they customize bikes. I got to chat awhile with the owner, great guy! Also, thanks for the coffee and doughnut!
Had a bike in storage for three years. The Ride Factory fixed it right up, and kept me in the loop at each step. Top notch service. Definitely my new go to shop.
Brian and Somer will take GREAT CARE of you and your Scoot!
Friendly staff that takes the time to walk you around the shop and they work with you to find options that fit your needs. I was in to check out a Thruxton and they stayed late, answered all of my questions, gave me a beer, and spent a lot of time walking me through all of the details of the bike. They know bikes, they care and it shows. I was impressed and plan to be back. I highly recommend The Ride Factory.
This is the best shop, they took in a used custom bike that I bought with issues during the holidays in 2014 - spent many more hours than billed to ensure that it was correct and safe before it left. This is the only place that I would ever recommend for work on motorcycles.
Most amazing motorcycle shop ive been too ever.. Very knowledeable and extremely nice. Great prices and a definite a attention to detail...this is definitely my new go to shop for everything now.. Very straight forward. Thank you Somer.....
Great independent motorcycle shop. Good people, great service. Would give six stars if Google would let me.
This is the first shop to ever ask if I’ve purchased a warranty and seeked payment through those channels. I appreciate their workmanship and the ability to get your bike returned promptly. Thanks!!
Brian and Summer great people! Great service! They got my a$$ out of a bind. Highly recommended!
Had some new bars put on my Softail. Summer and the guys couldnt have been nicer and/or easier to deal with. Came in, tried on a few pairs of bars and found the right fit. Alittle mix up on the cables and they took care of the problem right away. Love the new look and the feel. Thank you! Support your local motorcycle shops.
Called to see if they could work on my Non-Harley bike as another reviewer had some issues. Somer was nice and polite on the phone even though I am not a Harley Rider. The Ride Factory has a good location and I hope that my service later this week is a good one.
I have a 2006 Sportster that I normally take to the dealership, however I will now take my bike to The Ride Factory after the great service I received. The staff is knowledgable, and keep me apprised to the progress of my repairs. They also followed up after the sale to make sure everything was good. I strongly recommend The Ride factory to anyone that is looking for motorcycle repairs in the future. They have won my business.
I had just bought a 2002 R6 from I guy which was not in the best condition but it was rideable until the clutch went out then I realized that I had a gas leak, oil leak battery was no longer charging YOU NAME IT it was just all bad I took my bike to the guys at The Ride Factory and they were knowledgeable and professional about getting me back on the road Summer, Brian, and the MVP mechanic Scott were the best I highly recommend this shop for you services I own a crotch rocket but I see them work on all makes and models they will get you right!
I stopped in for their annual party last summer free food, band and beer. I have been back a couple times looking at their bikes. Very nice professional people. I will go back there when my bike needs service.
This looks like the place to go if you are a Harley owner or want to buy one. I guess by the reviews they do good repair svc.and they have a decent shop but I dont know personally. They are not interested in anything else I gather. My husband stopped by to see if anyone had experience building their own trikes (not kits) because he is messing around with a Alsport Tri Sport trike he has had to play with since the 70s, and was in his words, treated like he was homeless. He has owned various bikes his whole life and has friends who also own Harleys, but he didnt get back into them after starting his business until now. When he does buy a trike, which is what he will probably do in his next project, I dont think he will choose to go to them because his experience but maybe they will be good to you.
Shop is great Thanks for taking good care of my custom chopper. The Ride factory you can trust 👍
It doesnt get better in service or skill than Brian. He and his crew can work on classic or current Harleys and customs as well as service Metrics like my Yamaha.
Once again The Ride Factory proves it is the place to trust when getting my bike taken care of. I cant imagine someone that takes more time to explain the issue and his recommendation (and why) on what to do to resolve your problem. Thoroughness, honesty and skilled is what you get when dealing with The Ride Factory. Somer and Brian are as good as they come and as long as their doors are open they will have my business. Thanks Brian and Somer for the continued superior service.
The Ride Factory is the best independent Harley dealer and and bike shop in the Tampa Bay Area period. Professional, competent & honest staff will take care of any mechanical issue and find you the bike of your dreams.
Ended up getting a flat tire a few blocks away. brian took the time to find me a use tire drove me to get it mounted and balanced the drove me back to my truck. awesome customer service didnt have to take the time to help me get a tire and back on the road again but did anyways. thanks again brian
Anyone who rescues baby cats & does great motorcycle work has my vote!
The folks at The Ride Factory are awesome, and professional very knowledgeable about all types of bikes would highly recommend...👍
This team is excellent. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable.
Great service, great people, and great prices! Highly recommend the Ride Factory
Excellent very accommodating nice people fair priced
Chopper, cruiser, sportbike, superbike...oil and tires to rings and valves and everything in between...they are my go-to shop for maintenance or repair. And if you get get an inspiration for customization The Ride Factory can make it a reality with their staff and network of fabricators and suppliers. Shopping for a motorcycle? They might have what you are looking for, too...Support your local, independent motorcycle shop!
These folks are the best at what they do. They have the absolute best harley trained mechanics in town. Prices are reasonable. I was sold on these guys since they opened the shop. You can trust their work and they stand behind what they do. Walk back in the shop and talk to the wrench whos gonna work on your bike. Try that at a Motor Company shop. Somer works the front office and is part owner of the shop. She can talk motorcycles with the best of em. Brian is the other owner and is the back office guy. He runs the shop. His hands are on every single bike that comes in. He is never too rushed to talk to you about your motorcycle. Walk back in the shop with your bike on the rack and talk to him about your issues. He wants to understand what you are experiencing, You will never regret taking your bike here. You old schoolers will appreciate them most, Its like an old school motorcycle shop.
Let me start by saying I own a 07 Harley Ultra Classic that has almost $40k invested in it. Call it a touring-functional show bike. I ride the bike all over the country and go on a 1-2 week ride once or twice a year in addition to the daily rides. While I have installed/ upgraded/ updated 90% of what was done to it myself, there are warranty issues that arise or internal engine mods that required expert attention. For me, that is where the Ride Factory comes in. If I cant do it myself, The Ride Factory is the ONLY place that wrenches my pride and joy bike. Period! [they also have the coolest T-shirts around]. Thanks Somer, Brian and crew. Nuff said!
Called to get a price on replacing the back tire on a new bike (forgetting I had had an experience with this place 2 years ago.)On learning my bike was Japanese, I got quoted a price of $111 just to replace a back tire (not sell the tire itself with installation.) Thats more than double what other places are charging. I can only conclude either a) they dont want to work on anything but HDs, or b) HD owners are just used to paying through the nose for service to their machines.I suspect the glowing reviews below are plants by the business itself.(2 years ago)Called to get some information on possible service to my (non-Harley Davidson) bike. The guy immediately began referring to it as a metric bike. You know, that term is offensive. Its intended to suggest that theres Harleys (good, patriotic, American), and then theres everything else (dunno, unpatriotic and disloyal?) This is a stupid, redneck way of looking at the world, and its particularly stupid for any business to be giving offense to a new potential customer. It also suggested to me that my business was neither welcome nor likely to be met with competence. You dont stay in business that way.
EXCELLENT OVERALL MOTORCYCLE SHOP!!......to get Any Repairs and Service done on Any motorcycle!!!!!! GREAT PLACE AND BUSINESS!!!!Mongo sends
Great service... excellent persons
These folks are terrific. They know what theyre doing, they do it right, and theyre straight up. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the service. Somer is equally knowledgeable, helpful, and personable. I wont let anyone else work on my Screamin Eagle bagger. Support local business!
The staff is patient and informative, the prices are very competitive, and overall a great experience.
Brian and the crew always take care of my bike! Thanks, guys!
Very cool people go there and see what I am taking about
I have a Honda cruiser and after shopping around several businesses my last stop was at The Ride Factory in Ybor on 22nd st.. Let me say Im glad I stopped in to talk to these guys. I was first met by Scott. He shook my hand while he introduced himself. He took me into the office and we began to talk about what I needed. My bike needed a total carb rebuild/re-jet. I immediately got a good vibe off Scott. He seemed really honest and knowledgeable. So after a couple of weeks I decided to bring my bike in and have Scott do the work. After going into the office and doing the paper work I mentioned that I was getting ready to walk over to the bus stop and get a bus home(I dont live but 5 miles from the business) a gentlemen was there by the name of Brian and he told me not to worry about it and he was kind enough to give me a ride home. He was also very cool and knowledgeable. I told Scott to take his time working on my bike..Well by the end of the day I got the call that my bike was ready to go. When I got there to pick my ride up I met the owner Summer. She was awesome. Shes the type of woman you want to hang out with and just shoot the $%#* with! Very sweet and cool. She was also knowledgeable. From the minute I walked into the shop for the first time, to the time I picked up my bike, they were all nothing but cool and friendly. Summer is probably one of the coolest women Ive ever met in my life. They all made me feel like a family member or friend. They work on anything and do customizing. I saw bobbers, Street bobs, cruisers, cafe racer types, sport-bikes, custom choppers, Harleys. EVERY bike you can think of. They do it all. They also have a pretty bad ass show room with riding gear and other cool stuff. (I grabbed a patch and a few stickers) the patch is on my riding vest already. Put a bumper sticker on my SUV too. :)As far as the finished project. My bike runs like it did when it was brand new. I cant even believe this is the same bike I brought in to be worked on. I installed Vance and Hines Cruzers and they did the rest. My bike sounds and runs incredible. Its smooth, sounds great and just feels awesome. Scott did an amazing job and gave me some great tips and advice on taking care of my ride. Great customer service, great skills and most important to ME is their competitive prices. In closing. My experience was top notch from the get go. I have a bike shop now forever. I wont go anywhere else for service on my bike. I highly recommend this shop for any rider with any type of motorcycle. Thank you all for the top notch, superior customer service and making my bike run like a dream Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! See you again soon! ~Mike~
The only shop I will take my motorcycle to be worked on. Very professional and reasonable!
Brian and the folks at The Ride Factory are the absolute best!
Just bought my first harley recently and was looking for a local shop(cause as well all know they just rip you off at the dealership) to do some work on it.Came across the Ride Factory in Ybor, looked them up and they had a good repuatation as honest and very fair with their prices. I called to get a quote on what I needed done and Somer who runs the office answered the phone. What a pleasure to deal with! she answered all my questions patiently, quoted me a very fair price for what I needed done and even ordered all the parts needed without even taking a deposit!(which I offered). When I took it in Brian the head tech explained everything that needed to be done and then took his time and did an excellent job installing my custom parts. As long as theyre around I wont be taking my ride anywhere else. Happy as can be with everything theyve done for me. Oh and they have pretty cool selection of leathers, boots, helmets and accessories also at very reasonable prices. I scored a cool lerather vest. highly reccomend these guys!
Top notch!
I took my Road King in Friday afternoon around 1:00 with a screw in the rear tire. Brian and the guys there (Somer too!!) dropped everything, fixed the tire and got me back on the road in just over an hour. I have been using TRF for a few years now, cant say enough good things about them!! Thanks
Worst customer Service every try to charge 8 hours for a four hour job and I confronted them about the overcharging and told me to fix it my self and hung up
Excellent shop / service and repairs.
Perfect for all my needs and specials
I typically do not write reviews...but I had to b/c of the great attention I received by all at The Ride Factory. The mechanic-Scott-twice talked to me at length about my (Japanese) bike and the issues. Rare to get service like this anymore. Everyone could not have been any friendlier--these are my new mechanics....Randy O.
Gr8 folks, gr8 service, great atmosphere & gr8 cookies
Always nice doing business there
Great staff, really knowledgeable
Great service and big supporters of the community and veterans
