Great American Cookies at International Plaza and Bay Street in Tampa is a great place to go for all things delicious cookies. This is a good stop for a treat while shopping. Everything here is fresh and well prepared. I have been happy with all of the purchases I have made from here.

I ordered a cake on 4/15 scheduled to pick up on 4/16 at 3:30pm. When I got to the store at 3:20pm the lady stated I was early and the cake was still in the oven. We waited til 4:40pm for the cake to be finished. When they handed me the cake and asked what I thought, I was honest with them. It is the worst cake I have ever seen! I order cakes for both of my daughters from Great American Cookie Company every year. The cake looks nothing like the picture from online. My 9yr old could of done a better job. The lady then stated she thought it was good for her 1st time. Absolutely NOT!! I will be contacting the manager for a full refund. The cake is an embarrassment!

Avoid this place at all costs. Posted prices conveniently “went up today”. I’m posting the menu board. ALL of these prices are higher. The buy 5 get 1 deal is now over $11.50+. A single cookie is $2.25+. How do you just all of a sudden decide you want to inflate your prices? Oh, and don’t even think about using any rewards. They conveniently don’t have a way to scan or apply. Customer service was also horrible, and one lady didn’t speak English and the ‘manager’ gave a bunch of attitude when we questioned the prices and the inability to use our rewards.

I ordered to pick up at 1pm, arrived at 1:30pm Cookie cake was not even started. I gave up on the design and said just make it Happy Birthday. Still did not even get the color correct.Very disappointing. Next time just drive the extra 30 minutes to the store that is reliable.

My wife and I just had a great experience with the manager of Cookie Maker. I enjoyed the cinnamon sugar pretzel bites and my wife loved the chocolate chip cookies. The Manager served us with a smile and looking forward to our next trip to the Mall. We are happy we found this place. I am going to purchase cookie cake for my wife’s birthday!

A OK! I love cookies and have a really hard time walking by a cookie place without at least taking a look at whats on offer. This time I decided to stop and grab one as this chain has all but disappeared from the Orlando area.The cashier got us our orders quickly, and although she wasnt overly friendly, she got it done and I had a cookie - so win / win. The counter and area around it was clean and staff was wearing gloves.Cookie wasnt warm but it was fresh and soft. It was gone before we hit the exit for the mall :)Overall: BLove me some cookies! Maybe I should change my quote to cookie monster....

100% satisfied. Called two days to place a a custom order. Debra helped me, and was very friendly, knowledgeable of the sizes / prices for the number of people. We wanted ducks and they did an amazing job. Told her what time Id be coming and it was ready on time. Picking up was no hassle. Would definitely recommend if youre looking to get a custom cookie cake for birthday or work event. Whatever bad reviews from before, I had a good experience.

Cookies were old and stale. They need to make them daily and not try to sell the old ones.

I will NEVER purchase from this location EVER again. Cookies were hard as a rock and tasted like they’ve been out for days and the blue haired employee (didn’t catch his name) was so rude. I will never give this place my business again. Train your employees on what it means to work in customer service.

I placed an online order and paid for my cake through the website. When my husband went to pick up the cake, they did not have my order. He showed him my receipt and the girl work said that there was nothing they could do. They would not give him the cake or refund. I called the store 4 days straight and the manager was never there and the person answering the phone didn’t know when she would be in. I had to dispute the transaction with my credit card.

We visited Pretzel Maker and I had the Biggest let down while visiting this time!!! They had 1 employee working Cookie & Pretzel counter.... HUGE LINE of people waiting. One guy waited 45 minutes for hot dog bites! The employee Salted all pretzels since he was in a rush so we Couldnt order without salt because he told us he dont have time to make more!!! Shocked at his unwillingness to even Try we walked away with 1/4 less of products than intended to buy. We knew what we wanted before going and driving an hour for this type of service. TOTAL LET DOWN

Waited in a long line for the employee to be rude towards me and when I called for the manager HE WAS ALSO RUDE TOWARDS ME TOO!!! Im a customer and Im always RIGHT! Even when I got my cookie for free it was hard as a rock and tasted really bad like it was out for days and they would reheat the cookies! WOULD NOT ORDER FROM THAT STORE EVER AGAIN!!! Also saw a roach running around the place waiting for my order too!

Customer service was great. The cookies were hit or miss on softness. I got the strawberry, blueberry, Oreos, and snickerdoodle and the Oreos was the softest overall. The other three were crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle.

This location may have either the 1) someone with a sick sense of humor or 2) a blind person decorating the cakes. Story time.... so my wife loves the cookie cakes from here so every year for her birthday I get her one. This year I decided to get an island themed one because we moved to Florida. The picture advertised two palms hanging over an island....classic... I thought.... well I picked it up and read through the spelling to make sure it wouldn’t be one of those embarrassing illiterate birthday cakes that you see on YouTube... well I should have checked the artwork because two palms turned out to be to phallic images in a semi erect state with marijuana plants on top. Boy was my wife surprised when she opened the box..... if you dare buy a cookie cake from here. ... don’t do what I did.... check the artwork for hidden messages from the staff.

Told assistant manager my cookies were not done she wanted me to drive 32 mins back to being the cookies. Then she said talk to my manager tomorrow morning! The right thing to say would have been I will replace them no problem not bring the cookies back!

Honestly they should change there name. The cookies are average at their best. Not great at all. Do they use real butter?

I ordered a cookie cake online and came in to pickup up! When I arrived there were a few others waiting on orders. However when it was my turn I was able to quickly pickup my cookie cake. Everyone at my office loved the cookie cake, I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Wow! I bought 6 cookies from this establishment and they’re as hard as rocks. Didn’t notice till I left the mall, huge disappointment.

Came here a couple days ago after a long day of shopping with my family and it was possibly the worst customer service experience I have ever had. The ladies working there obviously would have rather been doing anything else besides being there. One of them said nothing at all and just had RBF the whole time while the other lady helping us was very rude. Every question we would ask cane back with a passive aggressive response while she smacked her gum in our faces. No wonder the tip jar was empty.

Seth provided excellent customer service and was very patient. This was the best experience that I have had at am Great American Cookie.

ITS VERY SAD THAT CORPORATE DOESNT PAY MORE ATTENTION TO THEIR ESTABLISHMENTS, MY DAUGHTER WORKED AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT AND THEY HAVE A JOKE WITH THEIR HOURS!! SCHEDULES ARE SENT THRU TEXT MESSAGES AND MOST OF THE TIME THEY ARE PENDING AND NOTHING FOR SURE BUT IF THE EMPLOYEE LATER SAYS THEY CANT MAKE IT THEY GET UPSET. NO ORGANIZATION, THE NEW MANAGER NICK WITH HIS PERSONAL PROBLEMS LEAVING MY DAUGHTER A MINOR RUNNING THE STORE ON HER OWN BECAUSE HE NEEDS HIS SMOKE BREAKS EVERY FIVE MINUTES!!! ON TOP THAT MANAGEMENT WOULD TAKE THE EMPLOYEES TIPS UNTIL A CLIENT DID A COMPLAINT. TUESDAYS IS THEIR PAY DAY AND SOMETIMES THEY DONT SEE THEIR CHECKS TILL THURSDAY WHEN THEY GET PAID EVERY TWO WEEKS!!! MY DAUGHTER WOULD WORK THREE HOURS OR FOUR AND THEY WOULD GIVE HER AN HOUR BREAK NOT PAID!! MAYBE THATS WHY EMPLOYEES KEEP LEAVING!! THE WORSE COMPANY EVER, CORPORATE GET IN TOUCH WITH ME AND WE CAN GO INTO DETAILS.

The cookies are always stale except early in the morning. The customer service is horrible they are extremely rude you’ll be lucky if they’ll even make eye contact with you!!! They are cooking in work area is atrocious I have been to even see a roach, they killed it and didn’t change gloves!!! Stay far away!!!!

The owner is a lady who will in front of you feel the cookies and give you an older one instead of fresh if you are buying under 5. Terrible and overpriced.
