Laurie is an amazing baker. She has an amazing personality and always warm and friendly. We ordered a 5 layer wedding cake and over a 100 mini desserts from Laurie and she blew us away. The wedding cake was delicious and all of our guests said the cake was the best they have ever tasted!! We couldnt have asked for a better wedding vendor. She was on time and super professional. She will always be our family baker no matter how big or small of an event.

Have you even been on a wedding where the cake is beautiful but it doesnt taste good? well this was NOT the case here. The cake at my wedding was beautiful and delicious, everyone complemented how fresh and incredible it tasted, not extra sweeet but full of flavor. Laurie is all attention to details, she will make sure that you end up with a perfect cake and an amazing flavor. I also loved about this whole experience the fact that she has traditional cakes but also very exotic flavors like guava swirl. The attention to details at my cake was stunning and it was exactly the cake that I ordered. Hire this company and you will have something less to worry about at your wedding.

Extremely disappointed. Too expensive and the cookies and pops looks like I did it myself and I have a little bit of experience doing it. I wanted to look great for my childs candy table and I feel like I wasted my money and my time. The colors requested are not even the same! Will not recommend! not individually rapped as requested. I sent my daughter with a picture of what I want and I paid for it. Taste good at least

Laurie is amazing!! For our wedding, we ordered a dessert bar with chocolate covered strawberries, pretzels dipped in chocolate, donuts, brownie shooters and cupcakes as well as our wedding cake. It was all phenomenal! I cant even begin to count how many compliments we got on not only the taste of the desserts and wedding cake but on the actual display itself! Laurie always responded to my emails and calls quickly and answered all my questions. She was able to take the wedding colors and decorate all of the desserts and create such a beautiful display! Laurie did a great job with our wedding cake on 3/7/21. Her tasting was by far the best we experienced because she provided separate cupcakes and fillings so we could mix and match. Plus, her studio is cute and she did the most important thing: accommodated my husbands allergies! We went with blueberry swirl cake with lemon curd and it was delicious. I also appreciated that after taking her our specialty stand I found online, she was able to make it work. Finally, we had a very artistic vision that she was able to bring to life beautifully: burgundy and rose gold marbling with drips. I really felt she was affordable and tried working with us on price. Other bakers told us it is what it is but Laurie came up with creative solutions like using faux tiers for the top two and having sheetcake instead. This really helped us out and we cant wait to order our anniversary tier next March!

Laurie is awesome! She makes sure she creates the cake exactly how you want it. She responds to all texts and/or emails in a timely manner. I’ve gone to her for a few years now and I have never been disappointed.

Our cake was for my sons elementary school graduation and it was not only exactly the way I wanted it designed but it was delicious too!!! Sadly the 2 broke when we were moving it so the 2 looked like a backwards S after we tried to fix it. But it was still awesome. We could not be any happier and will be using them again for our next event!!

Our wedding is on 2/7/2021. We went cake tasting on November 21st. We have reached out to this company MULTIPLE times after telling her that we chose her and then sending her our cake design and flavors. No answer. No call back. Nothing. This really hurts mine and my fiancé feelings considering we loved the cake tasting and the energy the lady had. This is VERY disappointing. Now we have to scramble to find a cake lady or fella.***I posted this days ago on 1/11/21, and erased my comment due to the fact the Baker reached out immediately after I posted it. I gave her another try, but ever since 1/13/21, I haven’t heard anything else back. POOR COMMUNICATION. My favorite cake - NOT.I love double fudge chocolate cake with raspberry filling and butter cream frosting. For my 61st birthday my spouse went to A PIECE OF CAKE, advertised as a bakery that specialized in cakes, and ordered my favorite. BUT - what he got for $65.00 was an old chocolate cake, with jam spread between 8 square sheet cake slices covered with whipped sugar frosting and colored piping with my name. A Piece of Cake was one of three options as part of our Hotel Wedding Ceremony/Reception package. I decided to go with them based on their website and reviews. There was delayed communication from Laurie so I just booked an appointment online and come to find out I guess thats what she wanted us to do anyways...When we came in for the tasting the shop was very cute and clean. Laurie sat with us and explained the ENDLESS combinations available for the cake flavor. Very overwhelming. She brought out our choices and the cake was AMAZING. No more emphasis needed on the taste of the cake...it was great.My issue is with the way the cake looked. As we were looking at the pictures of previous cakes she had done, we were explaining exactly what we wanted (we want this from this cake, that flower from that cake, etc.). She did not take any notes. We wanted a plain white cake with tons of flowers (different purples) cascading down and Laurie even said she could do gold tips on the end of the flowers for extra detail. She assured us the cake would look exactly how we wanted and she never had any delivery issues.The wedding day came and the cake was NOTHING like we ordered. My husband and I literally said, What is that? It was the most plain/ basic cake I had ever seen. There was one row of flowers cascading down. Not the tons of flowers we had discussed. No gold tips and only one color purple. The cake was not hideous so its not like the cake cutting was ruined BUT it was not what we described or paid extra for.Pictures: The 1st one is our cake and the 2nd two are cakes from her book we showed her on how thick (in width) the flowers should be. Plus, she said she would add gold tips...

You did not provide “extra” samples for my family in-fact on your website it states up to 4 people are allowed at the tasting so if anything you provided less then advertised being that you only provided enough for my fiancé and I and we all shared from those. I have pictures to prove that and will gladly refresh your memory with them because I can clearly see you forget things when it’s convenient to you!2.) I specifically mentioned to you that the cupcakes would be a bonus for us and was not a priority so if they weren’t budget friendly we wouldn’t need them luckily for me I found another professional baker that can make me the exact same pull apart cupcake cake for LESS THEN HALF of your tasteless, fridge flavored cakes :).3.) as mentioned in our emails I would not have just come up with the idea of the $25 off out of nowhere, and like I also mentioned in our emails it’s not about the $25 it’s about the fact that you verbally agreed to waive it and it was posted on your website at the time of booking also I should mention to PSA: to anyone planning on going with this company... look at the reviews and look at how this lady spends more time responding to the negative reviews(which all of them have about the SAME experience with her) rather than taking accountability for HER mistakes as a person/company.This is a very unprofessional company. My fiancé and I booked a cake tasting with Laurie and everything went fine at the cake tasting but before we had booked the cake testing we saw advertised on her website that the $25 fee for the cake tasting would be waived within a week of booking with her, at the Cake testing we agreed on a price and she verbally confirmed with me that she would be able to waive the $25 fee as long as we book with her. Six days goes by and I contact her asking her if she had forgotten about us and letting her know that we were still interested with moving forward with her and her services to which she responded “I’m sorry I haven’t forgotten about you it’s just that I listed my house for sale and things have been hectic“, a week and a half pass by after she finally sent me the said quote and when I received it there was an additional $10 added to the price that we had originally agreed on. The $10 was listed in the description for the price as “sunflowers” but in the original quote as well as in the inspiration picture and in the cake testing agreement we had come up with the sunflowers were already included. I emailed her and asked her to please waive the $25 fee and let me know when she has done so so I can go ahead and book the services to but she responds to me that she no longer waives that fee and she does not know where I saw that because she has remove that from everywhere. I respond to her and let her know that it was in fact listed on her website and we would like to move forward but we would like to have that honored just because she gave us her word for it, After emailing back-and-forth a couple times my fiancé and I decided that this wasn’t the right fit for us just because the lack of professionalism and cooperation. We were really excited and we thought that our search for our wedding cake was over and we had mark that off our to do list. However due to this companies lack of customer service and everything that comes with that they have lost a customer over $25. It’s not just about the $25 it’s more about the commitment that we had received from her and then her taking that back, we just feel like we can’t trust this company and as anyone would imagine you need to have absolute trust in a company with anything that have to do with your wedding because that is your special day and no one wants to have their special day ruined. I do recommend anybody who is Looking to book with this company to open your search up two other options and keep them in mind because you do risk having a high level of disappointment with this company.

I ordered a Minions cake for my youngest daughters third birthday. She absolutely loved it. The gentleman that delivered the cake was professional yet friendly. He even wished her a happy birthday! My oldest turns 9 in May and we will definitely be ordering her owl cake from A Piece of Cake & Desserts!

I had an excellent experience with Lauries A Piece of Cake & Desserts. Everyone was very pleased with the taste of the red velvet cake. It was an easy process, didn’t take much time to order and arrange, and the cake looked very beautiful.

I cannot stay enough. Not only was I frantic and last minute (like 4days away from my event) I texted super late and she still responded. By the next day it was confirmed and when we picked it up it was absolutely perfect. Sooo so so perfect. I was expecting good things but it exceeded my expectations. It tasted amazing and my son was literally speechless. Thank you so so so much, I will be a customer for as long as I live in Tampa! Definitely 100% recommend!!

Laurie Ryan, the pastry chef and owner was incredible! When you do the cake tasting, you can sense the passion and confidence she has when discussing what you want in a cake. In my case it was a wedding cake! She made the process easy and the flavors were to die for. I could not have had a better experience.

If I could leave no stars I would. I got married last weekend the cake was paid for in full and didnt show up until 45 minutes before our venue rental was over. Everything was incorrect. When I asked the lady why there was a mix-up she said that it was my fault. She could not find the details to our wedding event. When she finally found them she responded with LOL oh when I put the name in it popped up. I dont understand what on Earth was so funny about her being 5 hours late delivering our wedding cake that me and my new wife were not even able to cut because the icing was so hard on top. When everything was said and done we told the lady we were not satisfied and we would like at least a partial refund because half of my guess were already gone before the cake even arrived. Instead of doing that she offered a complimentary cake. Why would I accept a complimentary cake. This Bakery is not professional and have some serious work to do internally. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone.

I chose A piece of cake bakery to make our wedding cake last year and Laurie not only exceeded but surpassed all of my expectations. Our cake was unique and had a special touch. Laurie hand sketches the cake and listens to your views and opinions. Our cake was equally scrumptious, moist and flavorful. All of our guest raved over it. I would definitely pick a piece of cake and desserts for all of your celebration needs. She also makes Gourmet Popcorn and cookies. What a great job by A Piece of Cake in Tampa. A last minute request and Laurie still managed to do a great job with not one, but two birthday cakes for my grandkids! They were perfect for our Minnie & Mickey theme party and delicious to boot! The kids were thrilled - and all our family and friends thought they were adorable. I sent Laurie a picture of a cake for my daughter’s baby shower, and she did an amazing job! It was absolutely adorable! We had an incredible number of compliments on it. It looked so good that several guests suggested that maybe I shouldn’t cut it. The cake was delivered right on time, and it was absolutely delicious. Last October my daughters and I were in search of a wedding cake, we found Laurie and every encounter from the cake tasting to the set up and delivery on New Years Eve was exceptional. We have been asked at every function who made the delicious, beautiful cakes. We were so pleased that 11 months later for my daughters gender reveal there was no question who we would trust in providing the cake . We used Laurie for my daughters 8th birthday cake. It was a beautiful unicorn cake. The cake was beautiful and tasted great. The fondant was flavorful and everyone loved it. We taught over the last piece ! Would recommend and use again for any family events! Her wedding cakes also delicious !

Words arent enough to describe how delicious and beautiful my wedding cake was! I had a pink champagne cake with 3 tiers, each filled with a different filling! It was so amazing! Every single one of my guests raved about how delicious and decadent the cake was, which made me beam with happiness! Cant forget the beautiful lace detail on the cake, that matched my wedding dress!! If you can dream it, Laurie can make it!

We received our cake from A Piece of Cake and Desserts as an all-inclusive package with our caterer, and I am so so glad we did!! The cake was stunning and perfect! And it tasted wonderful! She listened to all my requests and was extremely accommodating!! She also offers to bake you a small cake for free for your one year anniversary, so that you dont have to eat old, frozen cake. Highly recommend!

We loved working with Laurie, but we loved the taste of the cake even more. Not only was it beautiful, but it was delicious. Most people only care about how good it looks. After the wedding we went back to our hotel room and started off our wedding night by eating more cake. It was that good! I would recommend her services any and every time!

We loved working with Laurie and Suzanne for our 4-tier wedding cake and assorted popcorn favors! Laurie has an eye for design and her cakes are delicious! They did an amazing almond raspberry cake with almond buttercream icing. It was hands down the best cake I’ve ever had. No other place can compete. I can’t wait to have another event just to taste their magnificent creations again.

Placed an order for a birthday cake. The whole process was so smooth. They were to work with you on the design and make suggestions on the flavour. All I had to do was mail the sample model and the final flavour and they managed the show from there. Was available right on time for pick up. Will certainly order again for next event.

We are so happy we chose Piece of Cake to make our wedding cake. Laurie is very personable and really took her time during our tasting to make sure we loved the flavors we chose and our design. She custom designed a cake to match our blush, gold, and ivory theme and it was picture perfect! She also offers a wide variety of cake and filling flavors, there is no way you won’t find something you love and it is great quality and delicious. Piece of Cake also offers flavored popcorn in tons of different flavors. You can opt either to have them host a popcorn bar at you event that your guests can visit and take home some treats or get small packages made up to give as favors. We got small packages of a mix of cheddar and caramel popcorn as favors and our guests loved it. Lauri even made custom labels for them with our names and a message “thanks for popping by.” They were so cute!

Stop by her business a few days ago and order a dozen cupcakes for my family and I. Not only were these the most scrumptious cupcakes I have ever had, Laurie was a pleasure to work with and completed a last minute order to perfection!!! Our wedding cake was the most delicious I’d ever had. We wanted edible decorations, and Laurie and her team covered it in macarons and chocolate-dipped Oreos. We got a ton of compliments and it looked gorgeous!

From the beginning to the end, working with this vendor was an absolute pleasure! Laurie immediately responded to numerous emails and texts and sometimes even late at night while I sent her several pictures and ideas that I wanted for the bridal shower cake I needed. I cannot tell you how beautiful it was, but it exceeded my expectations beyond anything I could have imagined. The caterer/owner of the venue was very impressed with how good the cake was and what an excellent job Laurie and A Piece of Cake and Desserts did. Just came in looking for a couple of cupcakes to enjoy on the way home, so I walked in and got 5 chocolate cupcakes with buttercream and sprinkles. As soon as I got in the car I obviously tried them to see if they were good or not. They were still hot from when she had just pulled them out of the oven, the buttercream was not to sweep wear it overloads with sweetness and the cupcake its self was very moist and delicious

I ordered a cake from this place a couple years ago. I was very excited with trying out and helping a small business. Unfortunately it dis not turn out well. The person who delivered the cake to the event was rude and rough, the cake broke and I called to ask for help and left messages. She never bothered to call back or apologize for the issue. Im writing this review so that maybe things will be better for the next person.

Had a tasting this past weekend and her cake is to die for. So moist and the flavor choices were awesome. So excited so see the design for our cake. I know we wont be disappointed since we loved all the designs she showed us.

I communicated with Laurie through email and met her before ordering the cake for our wedding. She was very nice at the cake tasting session with us. However, the cake was expected to deliver by 5:30pm on my wedding day, but came really late, sometime after 8:00pm, which passed the time of our cake cutting. It came out no fresh flowers like we discussed, no details designed as discussed. I am extremely disappointed and unhappy. Laurie seems like a nice person to talk with, but she is not professional and ethical in what she does. Literally ruined my wedding day!

I ordered 200 Star Wars cake pops for my birthday that had storm troopers on them and they look so amazing and tasted really good, I ordered the flavors and red velvet vanilla chocolate and swirl. I cannot wait to come back and order more

I hosted a baby shower yesterday and ordered the cake, cookies and macaroons from Laurie. The cake was a cherry almond cake, covered in ombré blue ruffles of buttercream frosting. It was gorgeous AND delicious!She also made the decorated sugar cookies which were delicious, perfectly decorated to match the blue palette of the cake.The macaroons were delicious and a nice addition to the desserts table.The ordering process was smooth. I thought that Laurie took the time to understand and interpret my requests, and she delivered a product that was fresh, delicious and perfectly crafted.

Ive never posted a bad review and Im not one to complain. However I was very disappointed with not only my cake but my service. I got this cake an hour and a half later than the time she said she would be there. Set it up so fast that the cake looked lopsided. I didnt receive the cake stand that I paid $125 for. Didnt apply the cake topper on because she was in such a rush my husband had to do it in the middle of the wedding. The cake was not worth the money that I was charged. The worst part of all of this is when I tried to call the owner she completely ignored my calls. Ive written her emails and when she finally answered she said she would call me and has yet to! I paid so much for a cake that didnt look the way I was promised. A cake that was an hour late without the topper and the stand. She has yet to call me back or even apologize for being so late. Overall Im very upset. I have yet to receive a refund for the cake stand that I paid for and never got. The lace on the cake was peeling off of the cake. I would not recommend anyone to come here! The way I was treated afterwards is horrible! Very upsetting. Still waiting for her to even acknowledge me after many calls and emails.

Ordered my son a birthday cake and some cupcakes for his 13th birthday party. First I’d like to say she was on time and the cake was absolutely gorgeous, the cake and cupcakes were so moist and could tell they were freshly made. The design of the fort-nite cupcakes was really cool and all the kids liked them. Would definitely recommend anyone to visit and order.

I’m very disappointed with my experience and would not recommend this bakery. My cake did not match the cake at the tasting. Laurie has awful communication, my cake was not decorated to match what we discussed. It had decor I specifically said I did not want and was also missing decor I specifically asked for that was discussed. The emails vs photos can prove this. I found the cake to be sloppy for $400+

EXCELLENT service,friendly and flexible, I only gave Laurie a few days notice and she delivered as if we ordered the cake with months in advance and that is not even mentioning the great price that she gave us. I would recommend this company to everyone.

I might have caught her on a bad day, but the owner was a bit rough around the edges and seemed stressed and a bit cranky. That being said, the popcorn is incredible. It can be difficult to get flavors on a walk in basis, so call ahead to make sure they have your preferred flavors. The hours are difficult for those of us who work a 9 to 5, and I have just barely missed them several times. Theyve probably missed out on at least $50 in impulse popcorn buying from me alone due to the hours they keep.

Laurie has made two cakes for me in the past year one for my sisters wedding and another for a gender reveal, both cakes were delicious and absolutely beautiful so much so that guests asked me for her information, I will definitely be ordering from her again in the future. She goes that extra mile to make sure you have not only beautiful desserts/cakes but delicious ones as well.

Horrible communication before wedding. The cake was hideous, and tasted nothing like the samples at the tasting. I didnt want pictures with my own wedding cake, and it was dry, so I didnt eat it. When my mother who gifted me the cake left reviews she was threatened with legal action, because the owner didnt like them. The owner told us she was going through stuff in her personal life, so maybe that got to her work. But we were NOT happy and I would not reccomend this vendor to anyone.

I do not recommend using this company at all. I’m more than disappointed in the level of (or should I say lack of) customer service that Laurie shows.I was in contact with Laurie back in August of 2015 for a cake for an event that I was holding. After emails back and forth, one day she just stopped responding – days before the event. I attempted to call her and left her a couple of messages and received no response. It was too late to order from another company and I ended up having to get a cake from the grocery store for my event.Fast forward to two years later. My husband and I decided to give Laurie’s company another try. We had used her for our wedding back in 2012 and the cake came out great so we thought we’d try again. I ordered an eggless cake. I had to keep following up with her and press her to take my deposit just so I could ensure that my order would be taken care of this time. I didn’t want a repeat of 2015. I paid the deposit for the cake and everything (emails and the invoice) clearly had the date of the event marked on it. I advised her that I would pick up the cake. The day of the event we showed up – and her store was closed. I called numerous times and there was no answer. I sent her an email and she responded apologizing saying she had the cake scheduled on her calendar for the following week and she would refund my deposit. Considering that the invoice she sent me for the deposit was completed by her only one week prior – I don’t see how she could make a mistake with the date. Either way, I was disappointed and sent a long email stating how upset I was. It is not possible to pick up an eggless cake from a grocery store so last minute. I thought for sure, reading an email like that she would at least show some sympathy – she never responded. Days later I still didn’t see the refund on my credit card. I emailed her and she responded that she voided the charge right away and that she would check and “get right back to me.” Again…she never got back to me. By the third round of emails, I was annoyed. Instead of understanding how a customer can be annoyed after all that, she emailed me offering to send me a check saying that she really wants “this and the emails to be done with.” Apparently, me reaching out and continually expressing my frustration that I have to keep following back up with her for a refund due to an error that SHE made was an inconvenience.Edited this to respond to the owner’s response below. What could you have done?1) Responded to my communications (no you didn’t respond to every single one nor did you get back to me when you said you would).2) While I understand errors can be made, maybe show some sympathy for your error and respond when a customer sends you a long email about how disappointed they are especially after you promised to “make it up” to them.3) Show some professionalism when you respond and not say things like “I really want this and the emails to be done with” to a customer who is frustrated at having to follow back up with you several times to try to get a refund.4) Figure out how to refund the credit card a customer paid with instead of making it easier on yourself, inconveniencing a customer, and requesting an address so you can send a check. You didn’t offer this as a solution when you found out...you offered this as a solution the third time I contacted you about not having received a refund.PS - yes you can tell if a customer is refunded money. You’d see it come out of your account.

I scheduled a cake tasting via their website well in advance and both myself and my fiancé took time off of work to make this appointment. However on morning of the appointment I received an email from Laura, the owner saying she was ill and could we reschedule the appointment. I asked if someone else could conduct this tasting and she replied no she doesn’t allow that. She stated that she had hoped she would get better but didn’t and she would contact me via phone later that day to let me know when we could reschedule. It’s an entire week later and I’ve heard NOTHING! This is extremely unprofessional. I understand that ppl fall ill, but unfortunately in this line of work you should have a contingency plan for issues such as these. At minimum you could have had an assistant reach out to reschedule, but it’s been no communication. If you were aware you were sick you could have offered to reschedule prior to the day of. I wouldn’t have had to waste taking time off work that I couldn’t cancel! Stay clear brides! If she doesn’t have a plan for when she gets sick for tasting, what’s her plan if an emergency occurs on your wedding day?? And don’t bother to respond, because I have zero interest in an apology at this point or a reschedule. This is just to let future brides know what to expect!

Booked with Laurie almost a year in advance to bake 100 cupcakes and a small anniversary cake for our wedding. During the initial tasting/consultation, we were wowed by the flavors and immediately put in an order for 50 chocolate cupcakes with a ganache center and 50 almond-flavored cupcakes with a cheesecake center, as well as a small chocolate cake. She gave us a price for this and it was paid in full shortly after. During the few MONTHS leading up to the wedding, we were in contact with Laurie regarding cupcake liners, cake topper, etc. So I was very surprised on my wedding day to find that 100 vanilla cupcakes had been delivered because it is their policy to default to vanilla when no flavors are selected! Apparently she had not written down our flavors but, regardless, it should be their policy to contact clients if there is a question about the order before defaulting. Although I was crushed, all I asked for was a partial discount since I paid for specialty cupcakes but got plain vanilla. Instead, she offered me 24 cupcakes in whatever flavor I want. This is unacceptable business ethic and I will not be referring a single person to them as I have for every other vendor I hired for the wedding.

I ordered a suprise soccer cake for my friend, the cake was a Corinthians soccer cake for my friend 15th suprise party. I initallly wasnt sure if it was going to be pretty because the picture i showed was not really good looking. But when i came to pick the cake up it was beyond my expectations. So pretty and so well done!!! I would definitely recommend going there!!

My cake was meant to be a lemon cake with Lemon Buttercream and a Raspberry marmalade. There wasn’t a trace of lemon in my cake at all!! It tasted like a vanilla cake with a synthetic butter cream. I tried to address this owner, Laurie, however she ignored my email for 4 days and when I tried emailed her again, she was very rude my email. She has since continued to ignore me and my partner. I offered her to taste the cake she created, however she has yet to accept my offer. Very disappointed in her and my wedding cake! Would not recommend her at all. I stated my wedding was on the 27th, and I complained on the 29th, maybe you may want to pay closer attention to the review. I didn’t threaten you with a small claims court, I said should you not reply further I will start the process for a small claims court - this isn’t a threat, this is simple action. My partner asked for a copy of the contract, as you can no longer view this on your site and your webpage doesn’t provide a digital copy of the contact that has been signed after signing it - I don’t believe that this is an unreasonable request? I explained to you that this cake doesn’t taste of lemon, nor can you smell it - neither does the butter cream - I have offered you to try this and you have declined. I’d be interested In your feedback on this cake. In regards to having cake left over, yes, we still have over three quarters of this cake left over, currently sitting in my kitchen wrapped in cling film and a piece that is frozen, should you wish to either of these (the frozen incase the cake went rotten by the time you actually replied, seeing as there was such a lengthy delay). I have never once said anything about how the cake looked, as it looked impressive and was correct for the design - so not sure why you have felt the need to copy that again. I have never made demands to you, I have simply asked that you reply and acknowledge that something may have gone wrong in the process, but you have still to do that. Yes you have the photos of us, taken from my Facebook page (thank you for visiting), did we actually eat it - no. These are for photos only. Not sure what you are getting at Laurie, but I’d still be keen for you to try this cake that apparently taste of Lemon, as it does not and you simply refuse to do this.

Given I visited other places this happened to be the one with the best prices! You speak directly to the owner at all times which is great! She is very friendly and nice! My only problem was that a couple of things were a little off. Although everything tasted delicious which is a plus. My cake did not look as I requested and neither did my cake pops. I wanted metallic gold and instead I got a basic goldish/yellowish color which looked tacky. My cake pops were suppose to have crowns drawn on them with opposite colors but instead were scribbled lines in opposite colors. My cupcake liners were not even the color of my theme which I was very specific about when I placed my order. I had requested opposite colors for the liners and icing, pink and white liners with pink and white icing on the cupcakes. Instead I got red and clear liners and all the cupcakes had white icing. Mid-way through my event a piece from the cake was hanging off which was a wheel from the carriage on top. Very noticeable!! The cake seemed like it had been literally made that same morning. Thankfully she organized my desert table so nicely with the jars and items I provided that I doubt anyone noticed the errors. Since I was organizing everything before the guest arrived I did not notice all this until afterwards but either way there was not much that can be done at that point. If you want someone with good prices this is definitely the place to go. You get what you pay for basically.

Cake was not exactly what was asked for. I was embarrassed in front of a lot of people. I told her the colors of the cake and she put whatever color she thought of. Very disappointed. Ask her about it and never responded back. The boxing gloves looked like mittens and the boxing belt like a watch!! Very disappointed and the worse thing, try to contact Laurie and she didnt respond.

Wow Laurie..I was truly speechless.. She showed up well before the ceremony 4:30pm. When my Family came in to tell me my cake had arrived and was being setup I was so anxious to see it. I had no idea how stunning this cake would be. After coming in from tying the knot I was literally, tearing up and slowly approached my dream cake in utter shock. It was 1000 times better than the picture I had showed her! (Definetly NOT a Publix cake!) Lol.. This was a beautiful 3 tier ivory pin cushion cake with a stunning deep red ribbon that ran down each layer in the most elegant way! This was the most memorable day/night of my life and Laurie was the cherry on top! I am soooo glad that I went with her to design our wedding cake and incredibly thankful! We will be including pictures.. She also made sure that our cake topper sat perfectly on the top, with no issue!Dont believe everything you read that may appear negative, I tend to read way too into things to be honest. There is ALWAYS a different side to a story and you will really miss out on the best. Know this for sure..she puts her heart and soul into making these cakes and this is something she truly has a deep passion for. We could see this when sampling cakes and speaking with her. She took the time to know every detail and color we desired. (That is rare to find) We hope to use her services for other cakes in the future, including a small top replica for our anniversary. This was a happily ever after moment for us and she worked incredibly hard to ensure that it fit our theme. (This incredible baker is a cake goddess and affordable too!)Everyone had second slices that there was no bottom layer left and the venue staff also complimented on the taste and beauty, it was THAT good! The cookies and cream was the best cake I had ever tasted! The red velvet swirl, was divoward and I had 1 bite of what could be closley known as heaven. The perfect balance of moist, sweetness and the fondant wasnt over powering. The top of the cake (Though its tradition to freeze it) I had a slice to avoid eating year old cake and getting sick..I couldnt help myself. (Had to make an excuse lol..) My Grandparents wanted me to leave some left-overs and I had everyone telling me how stunning the cake was. My Husbands group of friends surrounded the cake in awe and everyone wanted to touch the fondant, yup..it was THAT beautiful! You wont go wrong with A Piece of Cake, I HIGHLY recommend!!
