This place is amazing. My girlfriend and I have been wanting to visit for awhile and she suggested this after date night in Ybor. We shared a high top for a bit before moving to the bar. Both servers were outstanding. Drinks were delicious and awesomely named. Cigar selection is very wide ranging with some good local options and a variety of known brands.Toward the end of the night we asked about the members area upstairs. The politely gave us a tour and showed us the digs. I won’t spoil anything but does anyone have an extra $2,500 to spare 😅My girlfriend love the place and for sure wants to go back even though she isn’t a cigar gal.

Classy, great atmosphere to enjoy a cigar by yourself or with friends. Great selection from premium to Super premium cigars. Never seen so many Opus Xs under the same roof. Great job guys!!!

This is a destination for all cigar aficionados. A very good selection of cigars. It’s a restored church and absolutely beautiful inside and out. There’s a beautiful outdoor patio with koi ponds.

Very cool spot. One of my favorite cigar shops/lounges I’ve been to for the aesthetic. It’s massive, a huge place but still feels intimate and warm. Good cigar selection and very friendly service. Only complaint is that for as big as they are they have very little seating available for the general public. However if you wanna spend big bucks and get a membership there seems to be more available seating upstairs. As a visitor from out of town I would have liked more lounge options for myself. But honestly this isn’t a complaint just a minor nuisance. I still very much enjoyed my experience here.

We found this place on reviews and tried it out. I give very few (5) star reviews but this place should get a (6). Food, spot on from a food truck. Drinks, holy amazing drinks. Cigars, you cant go wrong and enjoy the smoke with live music. So live music, (5) and rocked the place till close. 11pm for those wondering.Id come back for it all.

One of the most awe-inspiring and relaxing atmospheres. Dom was unbelievably gracious and his knowledge of everything from cigars to woodworking was incredible! I could’ve spent all day here and will definitely be back.

This building is terrific. The decor is almost historic. The personnel that greet you are well-informed and inviting. The manager, Dom, is extremely informative and paid attention to my wants in a cigar. Asked me what I want and then pointed me in the right direction. I will be down in Florida again early December. Will make it a point to visit another time. If you want a great smoke experience, this is a must-visit!!!

One of the nicest cigar shops in the Tampa area. Glad I came across this place, the selection of cigars is phenomenal. I was helped By Dom he was a pleasure to deal with. He was very professional and brought to attention the house blend cigars. The Sweet Connecticut “The Jetsuit” cigar is what he recommended. It had a very nice sweet honey taste. Very good cigar I enjoyed it throughout the entire burn. I’ve been back multiple times since my first visit. I highly recommend Grand Cathedral Cigars to anyone in the are looking for a nice place and good vibes to enjoy!

This cigar bar is in a stand alone architecually historic building in old Tampa with ornate architecture, incredible pictures & paintings of old Tampa, & a great cigar bar layout, other than the bar seating area is super small, which seats only about 10 patrons. However, that is all that is great about this cigar bar. The bartenders must use thimbles to pour alcohol in their drinks. Talk about watered down & skimpy drinks. You can get better cocktails at your local sports bar. And if you order a hot coffee drink, by the time a listless intellectually challenged server brings it to you, it is lukewarm at best. The service is horrible, as time zones change before you get service between drinks. And most of the employees act as if they are doing you a favor by taking your drink orders. The people who work at Grand Cathedral Cigar are pretentious, elitist, & not pleasant, except to those who have memberships or are regulars. They obviously never took customer service training classes. They simply ignore the one timers, tourists, & people they feel arent worthy enough to be in their exclusive cigar bar. And I have been to hundreds of cigar bars, & the prices of stogies they sell at this place are ridiculous & way overpriced. The selection is also mediocre at best. This place is like that gorgeous sleek brand new car you bought but is a 100% lemon under the hood. Great building & outdoor seating area, lousy drinks made by clueless & conceited bartenders, & an elitist arrogant & pretentious attitude by its employees, make this cigar bar in a grand old historic building in old Tampa a total DUD!!! PS: Out of about 80 reviews I have posted on Google reviews, this is the very 1st One Star rating I have ever given.

Visited here today and I was impressed! Of course the building itself is cool, both inside and outside. Outside there are several places with tables and chairs to enjoy a cigar. Inside has a huge humidor, full bar, places to smoke a cigar, and a members-only 2nd floor for enjoying cigars. The cigar selection is awesome. They also have me a 10% discount for buying a whole box of cigars. Great place!

This one has been on my Must visit list for a long time and it did not disappoint! A unique setting, done very well. Ample seating inside and out. Large well stocked humidor and full bar. A must stop for anyone visiting the Tampa area.

An experience. Great selection of cigars. The venue is not even describable. It has the feel of a lodge and an amazing humidor. It wood work and finish in this building something to be seen. The outside patio has plenty of seating for as many people as you would like to meet. I found the staff to be incredibly helpful and friendly. Took My wife there on Friday night, the night managers name is Don, he was very nice and accommodating took me and my wife upstairs for a personal tour, service was great, The Waitresses are very friendly great selection of cigars and parking was easy, centrally-located I highly recommend, five stars... the decor in the place is like no other cigar bar I have been to

Multiple Cigar Lounges in Tampa, most are very good, but Grand Cathedral Cigars stands out. For Cigar aficionados, you will not be disappointed.

GCG is a beautiful place! One of the best for cigars in Tampa. They have great cigars and great drinks. Plus, the outside patio is wonderful. There was also a food truck. The service is wonderful! Dom is a treasure and very accommodating.

Being a big A Fuente cigar smoker and have bin I the cigar seen for awhile I have to say that Grand Cathedral of Cigars is unlike anything you have ever seen its a Fuente Paradise I am going again check it out

Architecture is beautiful, the restoration was expertly done. Selection is generous, but well maintained and well selected. Staff are courteous and polite, and completely accommodating. Pricing is well placed for availability.

Great time with the wife, good selection of cigars. OpusX is overpriced. Inside was crowded and smokey, not the best ventilation system. Employees were great, very helpful and prompt. We sat outside on the patio, which is very nice and spacious. Plenty of seating. Didnt have anything to eat, but it seemed very good. Limited parking. Would definitely go back for special occasion.

The Grand Cathedral cigar shop elevates itself above the rest. Starting with the selection of cigars, almost everything a beginner or experienced smoker wants. Not only are the big name cigar brands in abundance, the house blend cigars are one of a kind. With the help of the amazing staff, specifically Dom, he was able to recommend their Sweet Connecticut “the Jesuit”! This was an amazing smoke especially paired with a coffee. Because of the service and advice Dom provided, I will be coming back a lot. The selection of cigars and the service provided by the staff is topped off by the amazing atmosphere around there. The patio is a beautiful place to enjoy an evening, the inside is an exquisite place and fits the cigar environment. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone and highly recommend speaking with Dom for either cigar recommendations or even for just a great conversation! I will be returning soon!

This is my new go to cigar shop in Tampa. Its an old church that is only a few blocks from Armature works. The humidor is massive and the selection is impressive. Tons of indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a full bar. Great prices on cigars, the staff is knowledgable and friendly too.

Nice place can’t deny the ambience and architecture but the pricing of any Fuente cigars is double normal retail at minimum if not more it’s cool to go once or special occasion but that may be it

Awesome atmosphere and best walk in humidor I’ve ever seen. Selection was top notch, so many great cigars it was hard to choose. I wish I had more time to sit down and actually smoke one there. Could have spent all day there. Guy who helped me out was great!

This is a new and very special place in the Ybor area. This cigar shop is so much more than that and was a converted cathedral. They have a great selection of cigars (Especially Foundation Cigars), a large selection of beverages both alcoholic and non and now they are also serving food. One thing you cannot overlook when stepping in is the overall design of this brick & mortar. Angela the owner did a great job in sourcing great items for the decor and creating a unique vibe that is all their own. This is a must visit when in Ybor for any cigar smoker!

Grand Cathedral Cigars reminds me of the cigar revival I experienced 15 years ago. This merchant has a beautifully maintained in house humidor with an excellent selection of premium cigars. Such a beautiful place! My cousin told me I had to visit while I was in town from Miami and my only disappointment was that I couldnt stay longer. The hard work that was put into this location was beautifully put together. The Fuente family are such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving family and loved by so many.
