This is my Zen place. Eduardo was friendly and helpful and selected a beautiful cigar for a 40 minute stay. The Cubano coffee is unmatched. Seating is comfy on new, leather sofas designed to relax. I bought a t-shirt and will be back.

Visiting from out of town, and had such an amazing experience.Had a cigar and a coffee. The coffee went with the cigar beautifully, the cigar was exquisite, and the couches were a comfort level ten.They were very accommodating when I asked to purchase a full box, and put one together even though they weren’t technically available in a full box yet as it’s a newer cigar. The owner signed the box for me, and they completely sealed it for my travels home.I also purchased one of their awesome rooster paintings. A great value for a locally painted piece of art.HIGHLY recommended by me; a cigar lover at heart. Great people, and a great experience.

Pretty cool spot. I came to purchase a few cigars from some of the spots in Ybor city. People very welcoming and we got to see the cigar making process. The time and the skills that goes into making cigar is amazing and is kinda unbelievable the price that’s they charge. I look forward to trying the cigars and reviewing them.

Loved the sweet cigar!! It was so cool to know the cigar I enjoyed was hand rolled by one of the people I saw rolling them!! Omg, the white chocolate mocha latte was the best I’ve ever experienced....so smooth and flavorful wow, I want another one, think I’ll crave that for a very long time!! Ive been smoking cigars for 20 years so I have tried many different brands, but The Tabanero Toro is definitely my favorite cigar. I was introduced to these about 5 years ago, and was instantly impressed.

Staff was amazing and super helpful. Great recommendations and the coffee was amazing.

The best place ever to smoke a Havana/Tampa cigarettes and drink a really Cuban coffee.

The hostess was great, the Cafe Con Leche was delicious and the cigars were fine

Whenever I’m in Tampa, I usually stop in for a few cigars to smoke. This last time I picked up a full box of hand-rolled cigars. Good prices, got a decent discount on a full box. Highly recommend!

This place is awesome. Cigar rolling on premises, right in the front window. Cool decor and friendly, knowledgeable staff. They encourage you to come in and take pictures. Not only do they hand roll great cigars but they also have a small coffee stand in the back. The Cuban coffee is fantastic! I was the first to venture over from my group. Soon after that was everyones morning coffee stop.

Really pricey.Staff was not helpful.I understand that the proprietor was not there. I had been advised that he was really good. Too bad he wasnt. The woman who tried to help me was not patient or helpful.My visit was on the Tuesday before Christmas. It was to Tabenero and the staff person was a woman.

We passed by on this place just being curious about the cuban coffee. inside is very cozy. coffee and the real hot chocolate is amazing.... we love it much.... bathroom is super awesome. and the staffs are very knowledgeable and approcheable:) we will come back

Best experience in town. Amazing hand crafted cigars that are made right infront of you that are only paralleled by the coffee in the back of the shop. You can tell this family business really cares about their customers, ready to answer any questions you may have. This is a must visit when your in town. They offer a very informative tour that takes you back in time. The staff are very friendly and offer free samples of coffee that are guaranteed to get you in the door.

Stopped in today 12-19-20 to check out the variety and was greeted by a very knowledgeable shop tender. After having a Cuban coffee and chatting in length with the shop tender, I settled on a sampler pack of their best cigars. Very pleased with the Maceda big daddy full bodied cigar. I will definitely be back to this unique shop in downtown Ybor

The lady that was helping us was awesome we were beginer cigar smokers and she explained the difference in everything and why you need one and not the other etc. The bartender Wednesday was awesome as well. She even came to check on us out on the patio a few times

I was here a few weeks ago. The staff was absolutely amazing and beyond helpful. Just got around to the cigars today and I am blown away! Better then Ashtons, Macanidos, and Montecristos.

Tabanero is a wonderful cigar experience. We visit every year. It’s worth the trip. Their hand rolled cigars are a must try for cigar lovers. Great taste, perfect construction and consistency. In addition to the fine cigars they have a coffee bar with a great variety and all are a great pairing for a cigar. Service very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend a visit.

There are quite a few places in this street that sell Cuban cigars. I went to this place because my tour guide recommended it. To my surprise, the had a few Cuban citizens rolling the tobacco leafs and talking about some gossip—which I enjoyed as well.There are all kinds of cigars and boxes, in different sizes and prices. I also got a bag of Cuban coffee, which is the mix of coffee beans from a bunch of places in Latin America but Cuba.

I have never bought cigars before, but wanted to give a couple as gifts. The gentleman was very helpful

Authentic Cuban Cigars Rolled Before Your Very Eyes...Straight from Cigar City!!

There were a lot of choices in Ybor City when I came to Cigar stores while on my trip. I passed a couple, but Tabanero caught my eye. Nestled right on the corner across from the center of the action in Ybor, it was not real busy on a Tuesday so a perfect time to go in and chat. Once in there, I immediately noticed to gentleman hand rolling the cigars. They only sell their hand rolled cigars but have a great variety from mild to strong cigars. So I sat down and a friendly man greeted me and we started talking. Well this man, Steve, whi works there was a plethora of information! I said, hold on, let me buy a cigar and light it up and we can talk more! So I lit up an amazing Connecticut Toro and he started giving me a great history lesson on Ybor City. He was so informative not only on their cigars. But everything Ybor! The experience at Tabanero was not only amazing because of the great cigars, but because of the great staff! The rollers are all Cuban with no less than 5 yrs rolling experience, but most have more. You wont be able to smoke a freshly rolled cigar because they wont be ready for at least 90 days. But the cigars are great! Stay to smoke, have a wonderful Cuban coffee and take several cigars home for later!!
