Love this place, there humidor room were they keep there cigars is one of the best I have seeing so far in a cigar bar, great customer service, very clean and beautiful lounge.

Always happy to be back in my hometown and especially happy to go to King Corona! Had a Cuban espresso which was amazing. Then I was ready for a beer and asked for a local light/lager recommendation. The bartender was excelled and recommended a delicious beer. My husband picked up cigars and the gentleman in the cigar area was genuinely helpful and friendly. Always a pleasure!

There’s plenty of other reviews to tel you about the cigar selection, but don’t sleep on this place for food and drink either. The Cubans and cafe con leche are some of the best in town.

Arguably the most welcoming establishment in Ybor City. This is a MUST for anyone visiting the area. They treat you like family and are always helpful. Sit down, have a cafecito, play dominoes, and enjoy your favorite cigar.

I went in to get what I heard was the best Cuban sandwich in ybor City but even at lunch time their kitchen was closed. Apparently you have to be there at the right time when the kitchen is open and it isnt drawing their posted hours. Apparently its hit or miss and I cant give a recommendation to people that you might go there and have a good experience and you might go there and have the same experience I had.

King Corona is very good and probably one of the best cigar shops in ybor. Its definitely a little busy so if you like your shops quiet maybe come in the off hours. The bar is good but a little pricey, the cigars however are great. I recommend the light of ybor cigar, they are a house made cigar and are incredible/exclusive smokes in such a unique city.

This is a nice cigar bar. You can get a decent Cuban sandwich and a great range of cigars. Staff were very friendly and the location and decor is excellent. The only downside is not liquor! (Beer and wine only), got to have whisky with a cigar!

I was surprised at how large this place was on the interior. It had an even more of a large selection of cigars at extremely affordable prices. The staff was both friendly and offered help immediately. Their knowledge seemed pretty limited to the brands they carried any questions outside of that and they did not really know. Their website could use some more products as well. They only really sell the cigars they wrap online. However, the cigars they make here are absolutely top notch.

The experience, ambience, and service could not have been better! The managing bartender, Ashleigh, was super kind, quick, and knowledgeable of all the drinks they offer and then some! With a friendly chat, turns out she is a certified sommelier! This proves how King Corona cares about employing intelligent & competent staff who really help you enjoy your time, whether youre eating or drinking or smoking, while playing dominos (or a fun board game - they have a good mini selection), having a conversation, reading a book, people watching along the street in Ybor City, or simply relaxing.

Ambiance is good and the bar is acceptable but we had to self service at the bar since it appeared to have no wait staff.They did charged me the full price for a half pint of beer I wanted to try (because the keg ran empty). I presumed it was a sample at that point. My error.The cigar selections are no way near the amount in the Orlando Coronas locations.

Whats there not to like

Came in for a beer and a smoke and both my brother in law got beers that were completely funky. Tasted like rotten milk and smelled just as bad. When we told the bartender he said thats just how the beer tastes. Go somewhere else.

It’s a great place with great service and friendly people but they are the only place in ybor city and possibly Florida that won’t let you sit outside with a friendly dog.

This cigar shop is well connected to the everyday guy. It is biker friendly, offers a nice of you from outside, and has a coffee shop inside.

Excellent experience! Great place for a cigar and beer. They have a good selection of cigars as well as beer and wine. I stopped in recently after lunch to have a cigar and coffee. It was somewhat busy for a weekday. The atmosphere is laid back. They have a wide variety of cigars available which they will cut and light for you there if requested. The staff is professional and courteous. This is definitely the best place in Ybor City to have a cigar!

Love this place. Great place to relax, sit outside, smoke a cigar and people watch. Especially on the weekends. Not only do they have an extensive cigar selection, they also have an nice coffee shop and espresso bar. If you prefer to sit inside, the have nice leather couches for that also.

One of the best cigar bars in Tampa. Its smack dab in the middle of downtown historic Ybor and offers the best overall experience. Pick up their handrolls as theyre made just down the road and smoke better than most (constantly refreshing supply of them as theyre cheap and amazing)

King Corona is worth the trip. I was a new cigar smoker when I happened upon King Corona. A guy working there named Joe helped me select the right cigar. He was nice and willing to take the time to explain things to me. I have also hung out and had coffee, a cigar and the newspaper out front. Nobody hassles you. Its laid back, relaxed and the people who work there are nice and very friendly. The place has a real relaxed inclusive atmosphere where anyone can feel welcome. Great place and again, worth the visit. Enjoy!

They ll teach you everything you need to know if youre a newbie and hook you up with the latest and greatest cigars if youre a pro! CANT GET ENOUGH OF KING CORONA!

Chill atmosphere appreciate the attention to detail. You dont have to know cigars to buy here. I told them I wanted something sweet but in a chocolate way and they got itbexactly on the head. I loved that I could open a tab with the cigar concierge and order at the bar without running my card the once.

Beer and wine offered, but no liquor. Nice selection of craft beers on tap. If I lived in the area, this is where Id choose to have a locker.

Wonderful coffee, a good beer selection and always friendly staff. I really enjoy the atmosphere here. Its great to grab a drink and sit outside or in the window and do some quality people watching either before going to a club or just for a nice relaxing time on its own. For cigar lovers it is heaven. Oh, and the food is very good as well.

Classic Tampa hangout. Quintessential Ybor City, there used to be a barber shop in this cigar bar. I go there for Cuban coffee and sandwiches. They even have good vegetarian options! Theres indoor and outdoor seating (if cigar smokes not for you) as well as beer and wine. I love sitting outside and people watching. The Cafe Corona with spicy caramel sauce is so good!

You will enjoy King Coronas large selection of cigars in a wide open area. They also serve craft beers and food. Our bartender was very friendly and personable. She made me feel welcome. King Corona also has the largest outside seating area of all the cigar shops in Ybor. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
