Thrilled with my experience- especially with my designer Jessica Weko! She has been expertly helping me elevate my living room and master bedroom. I adore her taste and collaborative instincts, and have been very happy with the work. She is very creative and talented! Working with her has been clear and timely, with high-quality results!
Rude rude rude. I spent 15 minutes in the bedding section, laser focused, looking at a comforter..pretty obvious Im interested in this product. No one took the time to come by to assist or ask if I needed any help..there was a sales rep helping one customer the entire time. So, I waited. Finally the sales rep walks over my way with the customer. Im touching the comforter, looking it over. The sales attendant says, .if you are not looking at that can you hand it to me? It was weird and quite rude how she said it. 😳 Pretty perturbed, I gave her the comforter and said I actually was looking at it. She finally caught herself and was like oh well I can show it to you too. Rude rude rude.
High end furniture store.. everything you need furniture wise..
A garbage organization.Placed and paid-in-full three orders almost 7 months ago. Upon multiple calls and follow up attempts all we have to show is the same story it was shipped. We dont know any more than that. Call us back in month or so.Every call is met with a different excuse. Covid, supply chain troubles, shipping confusion, backorders, etc..Avoid this BS company and its sales people at all costs. Happy to take 10k of your money. Not so happy to deliver any measure of service or god-forbid your actual paid -for product. If anyone reading this can hold this third-rate organization accountable please do so. They are a horrible, horrible group especially the location in Hyde Park, Tampa.
I love the toy section. What else can I say? They have the coolest gadgets
Attempted to come shopping this morning only to be turned away. I stopped by PBK initially to pick up items for my son, then to grab some popsicles a couple of stores down to keep my 2 boys occupied while I continued shopping. Two female employees watched me struggle to open the heavy front doors while maneuvering a double stroller with my two children seated AND buckled in. As soon as I entered one woman says to me “we’re you going to shop here?” I replied “yes” and she told me “we don’t allow popsicles”. Then watched me struggle to maneuver out without as much as an offer to hold the door.
We are looking for furniture and found the chairs and sofas here to be very comfortable. Amy, one of their designers, was very helpful with fabric selection and answering questions. We havent decided yet but what we found here is definitely on our short list.
I’m giving a 4 star because I love pottery barn but this location employees needs some lessons on customer service. Majority of the lady’s are absolutely rude and unfriendly.
Was forced to lodge a formal complaint against the management of the Hyde Park store (Mikeli) due to a refusal to return my money (given a gift card instead of a tender-for-tender return) for a poorly made blackout curtain and the treating of my partner and myself absolutely horribly.I would avoid dealing with this store at all costs and order online if you have to (if not take your business elsewhere, West Elm across the street is owned by the same company and has higher quality products)-- its truly not worth spending hours talking to customer service to try and resolve an issue with an order and being hung up on by the manager after them lying through their teeth about the transaction process and being outright insulting to my partner and my own appearance (!!!), I cannot make this up if I wanted to.The company lost itself $1000+ on furniture I had planned on ordering at West Elm over a crumby overpriced $160 curtain, which Im beating myself up for getting in the first place. Not worth being talked down to by an incompetent, rude manager at a Pottery Barn of all places. What a joke.
There is a lady upstairs short blonde hair that was completely rude to us regarding the mask being slightly low on my nose due to falling down a bit. Her tone was completely uncalled for and very unprofessional. Told us to go shop somewhere else! Off to RH thank you for your help
I telephoned their store this morning and the associate (I wont share her name) was extremely put out by my call. I am going into the store and I will see if I get the same rude treatment.
It was our first time to Hyde Park Village and my husband and I were looking for the public restroom. After a while of looking, we stopped in Pottery Barn for directions. One of the employees (I think manager) welcomed us to use theirs. She was so nice and friendly, we checked out their furniture. Everything was neat and organized throughout the store and the items were beautiful. While looking at a living room set, she found us again and explained the history of the chairs style. She also told us where the public restrooms are for future reference and where a bunch of the other stores are located (very helpful because theyre kind of hidden). AND she shared a helpful tip about the loaner umbrellas throughout Hyde Park Village. Not only was she highly knowledgeable, but she was so hospitable and helpful! We didnt feel pressured or judged. When my husband and I need furniture in the future, we will definitely return!Short: met a very pleasant employee who was super welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful and genuine
Rude. I called to ask a question and the lady kept cutting me off. She had an attitude and a tone then hung up without a word.
Horrible customer service and I mean just very inconsiderate! I was returning a couple of large quilts and the sales person told me to go get my car drop them off go park and then come back for the return. Then Id have to go back AGAIN for my car. I had to park in the parking garage. So I told a different sales person that I was pulling up my car in front to do the return. And I did!! No one cared especially the women who wanted me to walk the mile back and forth, she didnt care. It was like I was doing them a favor just being there. So rude!!!!!! Not one smile or a welcome back. And I wont go back. Dont have to!!
The staff at this location does not need to be in the sales industry. They are very selective as to who they want to help. They dont greet all customers only certain customers.
I agree with the worst customer service! I was there Sunday because Roxanne ordered the wrong amount of rings for the draperies. I called the store and spoke to Brittany on Friday 7.56pm. I told Brittany i know your about to close so please have manager call me tomorrow morning. I realized around 3.30pm tht no one has called me so I called store and she said they are working on it and they will return my call. She called back basically didnt resolve my problem. I went to the store next day on Sunday. Brittany was there worse customer service. They show like they dont care about customers. one of the panels I received was 2 inches longer. So I asked if i could exchange she said no because it was on line order. So i was even willing to buy it there but they didnt have in stock. There customers service is unbelievable. Not sure why they act like that doesnt give a good representation of Pottery Barn. One more thing as I was there waiting they other lady was telling another worker something about a customer that as just shopping.
Pottery Barn is ran by the worst people ever. Corporate and the stores do not care about their customers. Their products are great, but not worth the treatment.
Always a good place to find great things for the home especially around holiday season.
I purchased a large, expensive wall mirror on Thursday. On Friday I received an e mail stating there was a customer appreciation sale of 25% OFF on ALL regular priced items. I immediately called the store and was told that they couldnt do anything for me. No price adjustment, nothing was done to accommodate me. This seems extremely unfair. I will not be shopping at Pottery Barn and advise --BUYER BEWARE, whatever you purchase today may be much cheaper tomorrow and they will not help you.
I love everything pottery barn lol. The employees are helpful with getting items that are not in store. They have a great selection of sheets and quilts.
Rude, Rude, Rude.. I went in there to get help with my wedding registry... they couldnt have been ruder/less helpful When asking information on products i was told what do you want to know with a severe attitude. I was looking for the difference between types of towels/sheets/duvet cover options etc.. no help at all...... Pottery barn better get some better customer service otherwise they will be out of business soon.
I love Pottery Barn. This store is a little hard to visit because of the parking. Otherwise, the store is well designed and the staff is helpful and friendly.
Bought a few pillows from this location, thought Id make the trip there instead of purchasing online like I mostly do just because a past purchase of a bed and associate said to me please give us the business instead of purchasing online. After I purchased these pillows within four days they were on sale so I contacted the store to see if they would adjust. Management not nice about me returning them to price adjust so I asked for a refund, purchased them online the same evening and will not be returning to Hyde Park location in the future! Work on your customer service skills!!
If I could give the Hyde Park store a “0” star rating, I would. To start off, my fiancé and I furnished our entire home with Pottery Barn. A majority of our items are bought online, which leads to some things not working out. Out of convenience, we take these items to the store. We never ask for money back because we know that we will continue to shop at Pottery Barn.Every time my fiancé and I walk into this location, we are given dirty looks by 90% of the staff (we are assuming the 10% of those that smile are newer). We are assuming this is due to the returning of our online items in store or maybe it is due to personal views of how particular staff members view our relationship, being that we are a same sex couple. Regardless, we have received endless amounts of disrespect on more than one occasion, particularly by the store manager, Maggie. We are both professionals and pride ourselves on Customer Service, which is something that this team lacks. It makes sense, being that their General Manager lacks every quality that someone with mediocre customer service skills would have. It has now gotten to the point where when we walk into the store, it is uncomfortable.Save yourself, stay away from this location, and buy items online. The call center staff members are very helpful and really uphold the values that I believe Pottery Barn wants their employees to provide to their customers. Pottery Barn is an amazing company and it is a shame that they have someone like Maggie running a lack luster team at the Hyde Park Location.
My friends and I came into the store looking to purchase some potted plants (succulents) and candles. Immediately after coming in we are told by an employee that this is a “place of business” and upon our confused stares she explained to us that we had to leave. We weren’t being disruptive in the slightest and in fact we had just walked in! I do consider this to be due to the fact that we are teenagers and though I was not planning to make a purchase two of my companions legitimately were. It was an unpleasant experience overall. Since when has browsing a store been an issue?
Called twice this evening asking about a trunk that I was interested in buying online and having my mother-in-law pick up in store. The first woman I talked to told me that they will not sell me the only one they have in store because its for their display. She did tell me that they would ship it to my house for $300! I told her how upset I was that I am having to call multiple stores about one damn trunk because no one has it in stock at any of their stores yet they have one and dont want to sell it to me. She then says Well I wish you the best of luck and hangs up on me. I call back and get another person to complain about the previous employee and to ask what my other options are and she hangs up on me, as well! I guess they dont want my $720.
A couple things that bother me: Mikele is always rude—I’ve worked with her a half dozen times and the impression she gives off is that you can’t afford to shop there. Also, now there are cheap notes on the door that say you can’t bring drinks in...sometimes we like to sip our Buddy Brew and browse..really? The other day I walked in and was headed towards the restroom and a blonde lady asked if she could help me and I said no, and she gave me a weird look and said “ok?” as if to say then why are you here. I really don’t like the energy some of the sales staff give off. Very stuck up. Don’t get me wrong...there are some really nice people there (like 2)...but the few that aren’t really ruin it for me. Read the other reviews. Seems like rude staff is trending here. Bad management.
I placed an order using reward dollars and was never called to be notified it was ready for pickup like was always done in the past and then I got a call saying my items are being returned. I called back within 5 minutes and said I would be in to get them and a lady took note and assured me they wouldnt be returned. I get an email 10 mins later saying theyve been returned. I call back and sure enough theyre returned and my rewards would be refunded. They were and I went to use them yesterday and the certificate code wouldnt be accepted and my rewards expired today and they refuse to help at all even though their system wouldnt allow me to use the points before they expired. I lost money and they could not care less.Ive had issues with a recalled couch from West Elm so after this issue my family and I will no longer be their customers.. not that they care at all.
Friendly and helpful clerks. It is my personal feeling the merchandise selection was not as good as I remember from past holidays.
PB sells such beautiful items for the home. I love their kids store also.
Top notch.Very pricey
It has everything that you would need for your home especially the kitchen but theres such a variety and the pricing is very reasonable the employees are knowledgeable and very helpful
I love pottery barn, but havent gone so really no stars
Quality product and the staff is always on top of thier game here. Professional, informative, patient and friendly service.
Great store to browse, friendly and helpful team members!
I absolutely love Pottery Barn and I always will however my experiences at this particular store have been nothing but unpleasant. It wasn’t until this most recent visit that I finally felt the need to write this review. I came in yesterday and purchased a few frames and a plant. While purchasing the merchandise, an associate by the name of Christine came to the register and started questioning the lady assisting me and was being very very rude to her. I ignored it and went about my business. I had both my dogs with me and managed to get them and my shopping bags back to the car all the way down in the parking garage. If you are familiar with the area, you know that there’s lots of construction going on so you are unable to drive in front of the store. Upon leaving the parking garage, I realized that they had forgotten to give me my plant that I had also purchased. I called real quick and asked if they could run it out to me since I couldn’t park in front of the store and because I had both my dogs with me. It would have been a nightmare to repark, bring my dogs and walk back to the store. Christine had answered the phone and after explaining to her my situation, she responded with, “Well sorry but there’s two of us and we are with people so you’re going to have to wait a little while.” I explained to her that I was blocking traffic and it would only take her a second. She did not seem to care judging by the tone of her voice. Eventually she made her way out. After getting the plant from her, she said in a very sarcastic tone, “Just for future reference, that’s where you park for pick up” and she pointed 10 feet behind where I was sitting in my car. After getting home, I realized that the asssociate that helped me with the frames accidentally gave me the wrong color frame and another frame was damaged. I came in the next day to exchange these items and Christine was there at the register. Aside from her giving me dirty looks, she just stood there. The bag I had brought the frames in was ripped and so I asked for a new one and for her to throw away the ripped one. She snatched the bag out of my hand and said, “Why do you need a new one? You could have reused this one?” Excuse me? It goes without saying that Christine needs to be trained on how to provide exemplary customer service. On three different occasions, she had a bad attitude and left me with a skewed view of that store and the people who work there. I might have to drive a little further next time to go to the Wiregrass location if I want to avoid any future problems.
Great place to shop and find inspirations
14 to walk into Pottery Barn just look around. Instantly got kicked out For nothing. I just came to look at candles
If I could give 0 stars I would. What happened to Pottery Barn customer service? I have shopped at PB for over a decade and furnished two beach houses with their furnishings and accessories and in general they have been wonderful over the years. However todayI called to see if they had timber tapers in stock, which I’ve used for years, and was told no, then told to call the Naples store which supposedly had some. I called the Naples store and the person I spoke with blew me off so I asked to speak with the manager who said 10 stores across the country showed they had the candles and I would have to call each one myself. After calling two on the list he gave me, both of which said they didn’t have them I gave up. Perhaps PB didn’t understand that I was a customer looking to buy something from them and therefore they should actually assist me? I think I’ll take my business elsewhere.
I brought a client into the Hyde park pottery barn that I was doing a complete reno for last week and was appalled by the way I was treated. I approached a blonde Middle Aged woman and asked what swivel chairs were available, she responded that there was one in leather chair on the floor. I respectfully stated we needed upholstery and that I saw an array online. I also explained that we wanted to see fabrics for those options. Her response? -“ Well I don’t know what to tell you, this is what we have in the store”. Before I could respond she turned away and started helping someone else who was interested In some Knick knack. Needless to say, we found swivel chairs and ALL the rest of the furniture we needed at another store. Terrible customer service to say the least.
Beautiful store, attentive staff, wonderful holiday displays.
