Ive had my vehicle serviced at Tampa Honda several times since moving to the Tampa area. Each time the staff has been friendly, courteous and most importantly, transparent about pricing and services needed for my vehicle. They dont pressure you to do unnecessary services or hound you to trade in your vehicle, as Ive experienced at dealerships in the past. At my most recent visit, i had to bring my toddler along and Jorge Hernandez ensured that my vehicle was completed quickly despite additional service needing to be completed. I highly recommend this dealership for servicing your Honda.
I had a very good experience with Tampa Honda’s service group and especially Denis Hurt. Service was very timely and communication was great. I was kept up to date on the progress of my repair and very much liked being informed of the contact number that would be used for updates. I was greeted quickly, had a quick review of my problem and filled out the paperwork, all in 20 minutes. Pick up after repair was completed was 10 minutes. Great service.

I posted a 4 star rating on10/13 when I was refinancing a leased CRV and was very happy the way things were going until WE got to the finance office of Gary Burg. There was a lot of paperwork to be signed. During our time in his office he offered us a warranty For 4years that seemed like a pretty good deal Then he told my wife and I that he would give us free oil changes if we bought the Warranty. We continued to sign and sign thinking he was good at his word. We got home and he had charged and financed $499 for the oil changes. I have sent 6 emails to him and he just sends me another set of the papers we signed. I know I should have looked closely before I left but I have bought 3 cars and a truck in the last 18 years I trust these guys to not lie to me. Sorry this is so long but this has been weighing on me.
Called ahead asking if they would take walk-ins on a Sunday & was told yes. After pulling up, happy to wait however long, I was greeted by a gentleman who would not stop complaining about how they don’t take walk ins on Sundays & how it would take several hours to be serviced. Informed the man that I called ahead & was informed to come on in for service & was in no rush. Luckily another gentleman took over that was happy to help & took care of my needs. I didn’t catch his name but great job. Sam is always fantastic, he remembers who I am & is happy to provide water & a nice chat. I was told it was a 3 hour wait for a tire rotation & oil change when it only took about 1.5 hours. Wasn’t dissatisfied with my overall service, but 2 stars for the initial guy who couldn’t be an adult & professionally provide service. I get it, it’s Sunday, but it’s not like I came right before closing time with a simple request. Some of the staff needs a reminder in professionalism & customer service. Everyone’s short staffed, it’s not like I came expecting things to be done in 10 seconds. Calm down & gain the business.

Place is amazing! Met this great guy Don O’Brien told him to help me out with my 93 civic that had a crank no start. Let me tell you these guys did magic! helped me so much with diagnosing the car finding all the problems even hooked me up with rebuilding my old ecu which had water in it told me everything that was wrong asked me my price range and what i was willing to spend got me at a more than reasonable price always updated me daily about what they were doing to the car. The technician Polo did an amazing job super experienced! told me the problem and why the car wasn’t starting and gave tips for the future if i ever have problems and He fixed all he could within the price range 100/10 service couldn’t of asked for better guys to be working on my old honda. Now car starts and runs perfect better than it did before and they kept it 100% with me great customer service! If you ever need work done to your old/new honda these are your top tier guys to be working on them. Again can’t thank them enough and even told me if i needed anything else or have anymore problems with the car to bring it back whenever and they will be more than willing to do everything than can to help! Great hard working men appreciate there work so much and the respect i got felt like we were all family! This is your place to go if you have any problems especially talking with Don O’Brien man hooked me up with everything and keeping me in the loop with everything that they were doing to fix my car!
Don and Ricky were so nice and very friendly. I came for my tire and was able to get another service done. Ricky gave me constant updates on what was going on with my car. Don got me to Ricky and came by again to make sure I was getting taken care of. My car also got a wash since we’ve been on the highway. I’m so satisfied with my experience and service. Thank you Tamp Honda for your help. I had originally went to another nearby Honda dealership that was going to charge me an unacceptable fee that I would’ve had to pay out of pocket. This nearby dealership did not treat me with honesty and/or respect and stated my AC issue was due to two main components of the AC unit thus, the whole AC unit would have had to been replaced. Quoted from the Service Rep. their technician was number one in the nation. I did not believe the information they were feeding me and I truly wanted a second opinion. So I went to Tampa Honda. If Tampa Honda stated the same information, I would have paid the fee with no problem. At Tampa Honda, the Service Rep informed me of a Condenser Leak warranty (that the nearby dealership originally stated was not the AC issue). The Service Rep, Dennis assured me that they would diagnose the car correctly. In conclusion, my AC issue was actually covered under the warranty due to a Condenser Leak. Thank you so much for your honesty. You don’t understand how much you have saved me. I recommend Tampa Honda.
The initial car buying experience, was great. After that, not so much. I purchased a 2021 Honda CRV the Wednesday after labor day. My car payment wasnt due until 09/25, so I figured 3 weeks was plenty of time for them to pay off my trade. WRONG. As 9/25 approached, I reached out to Ariana Oliva, the finance manager whos actually at a Toyota dealership. I told her it had been 3 weeks since I purchased and traded and asked for the status of them paying off my car. She said she would look into it, and get back to me.She may have sent the initial email, but she never followed up with me. I emailed her 10/7 asking again for status, and provided her with an updated payoff amount. They said they would get it handled.I followed up again 10/18 for status as the car had still not been paid off. And told them how frustrated I was with the process as it had been 6 weeks since the trade in. At this point, I had to call my lender and beg them not to report a late payment on my credit report and explain to them how ridiculous the dealership was.Then, 10/21 I had to reach out again. My lender had received payment, but not for the full amount. So I gave her the remaining balance info.10/28 I followed up again, as the remaining balance was still reflected on my account, now nearly 2 months later.Today, 11/3 Tampa Honda had the NERVE to call me not once, but TWICE, asking ME, to get with the lender to find out why they wouldnt release the title to the vehicle.Was I snippy to the two ladies who called? You bet I was. I let them know they needed to speak with their own finance department to find out what was going on, because to my knowledge, the lien had not been paid in full.Later this afternoon, my lender called me and told me they couldnt release the title yet because they had just received the final payoff YESTERDAY, and it takes 7-10 days to process.All in all, it took from 9/8 when I traded in my car until 11/2 for them to pay it off.I will NEVER purchase another vehicle there again.
I came in last year thinking that I wasn’t going to get approved with anything because my credit was pretty bad and Josh helped me and got me approved for a 2016 civic and I was so in love, never had any issues the whole year which was a first for me, fast forward to this year and I go in I get with Josh again and once again he worked his magic and got me approved for a 2022!!!!!! Never would I have thought that I would be driving a 2022, Josh was the best person to get with he was super professional, polite and did everything possible to make sure I left happy and in the car I truly want. Highly highly recommend this Tampa Honda and when you do ask for Josh I promise you will not be disappointed!!

Nick B. was a huge help in getting me a new car, that also included trading in my old car and walking me through the entire car helping me till 10 pm making sure I knew every part of the car. I can easily recommend this dealership since my son recently got a car from Nick as well.
Today I already had an appointment at 8:30 am to oil change and I left my car with one of attendant there on charge with my service, his name is Jorge Hernandez and he can’t help me to take me back to my work in the meantime service department do the oil change. I be waiting all day for a call to let’s me know car was ready to pick up and no one call me, and when I came back at 5:20 pm, Mr Hernandez was not there, he never call me, It’s a worse experience that I ever been in a Dealership service, Awful so Definitely I never will be there to order a service for my car.
I have a 2018 Honda Accord that is still under warranty. Yesterday my car wouldnt start, and I was getting a warning about the brake system failing. I called Tampa Honda service dept to ask to talk to a service technician. The receptionist refused to put a service technician on the phone and said I would have to tow my car to Tampa Honda for them to look at it. The problem was that my car battery had gone bad. Rather than pay for towing, I picked up a new battery from Autozone and installed it myself. I will not be going to Tampa Honda for any future service.
I came in with an issue starting the car. It seemed to be an electrical issue due to lights flashing. Don OBrien was my service consultant. He was personable and attentive to me immediately and we struck up some good conversation. The team identified it was a battery issue and it was around the time that batteries usually need to be replaced. He inspected my front tires and believed they were too worn, so I bought some new tires and lifetime alignment. Don patiently walked through all the pricing with me and explained why the updates were necessary. He additionally brought up what I should be expecting in the next 5,000 to 10000 miles. Overall, I had a great experience due to service provided by Don. I am looking to working with Don again.
This is my second time in 2 months and I can say that the service here is consistent and professional. The service manager Joe is upfront and holds his peers accountable. Larry my service advisor was very thorough, patient and sincere with the advice he gave me. At first the visit was rocky due to some misinformation but in the end everything was held up to a high standard. That is what customer centricity is all about. I truly have to say that I could not have been happier and lucky in walking into this dealership. I had just left another dealership (different make) and the experience was horrible. To get to the point, as I walked in I was greeted and served by an incredible and highly knowledgeable salesperson. His name is Mo. I told him what I wanted and expected and he was straightforward with what I can expect. I received respect, experience, knowledge and his word and no lies or hype. In 15 minutes I got approved to exactly what he promised. I waited only on the finance manager that when it was my turn, it took no more than 10 minutes!!!Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

This place is terrible! Horrible customer service and if youre not buying a car, youre invisible to them. Staff is very unfriendly and not very inviting at all. The staff here is very entitled. Wait times are ridiculous! Nobody tell you whats going on with your vehicle, they just leave and push you off to someone else. I sat there for almost 3 hours waiting on my truck to be serviced and no one came out to even ask me if I was ok or even apologize for the delay. They all looked at like I was from another planet. When I finally asked what was going on nobody even knew where my truck was or who had it. They totally forgot about me. The people that were there before me and those that came after me got there cars serviced and were gone. I was the only one left there after 7pm. I was so angry. Others were catered to and treated better than I was. I was totally invisible. No my vehicle is not a Honda but I bought it from there but that is still no excuse to treat people the way that they do here. I will NOT be back! This is the second time they have done this to me. Not to even mention the way that they treated my husband after I purchased my truck from them.
I had a great experience today buying my Honda.Ryan and Jay were very helpful in the buying process. Showed me around the vehicle, shared their experiences with the vehicle. It wasn’t the normal hostile, confusing, environment many are used to when purchasing a car.We were in and out. Once it was time to sign the official paperwork Bill took over and helped with explaining every detail of every aspect of warranties and additional possible charges. Any questions I had he answered honestly.
Received excellent service by service advisor Don OBrian and his lead technician Ron Francis. Both worked hard in diligently explaining the issues with my Pilot 2007. Ron was able to fix my SUV to my satisfaction. This old pilot now rides like a brand new vehicle with new struts, suspension bars, and other fixes with leaks which improved the ride beyond my expectation. Id continue to trust and bring my vehicle to Tampa Honda and work with Don and Ron.

When my 2006 Civic Hybrid died I had no intention of making my way to Tampa Honda, as I live in St. Pete. However, due to low new car inventory everywhere I decided to just go check them out. I’m so glad I did. Tampa Honda was the most welcoming dealership I’ve ever dealt with. Gerrardo was our primary sales person. There was no pressure, tons of options, and he made the experience stress free. Felt more like chatting with a buddy than a “car salesman.” Cesar in Finance was great as well and Ali made sure to let us know he can be reached at anytime. I would recommend Tampa Honda over Crown Honda any day. I’m glad I left Crown Honda and chose not to deal with them. The whole experience at Tampa Honda was worth the 30 minute drive.

I will change my review if I cannot get my car to repeat the symptoms of the two main reasons I took it in for - engine grumbling every few seconds when cruising (not accelerating) on the interstate at 70 mph and the fuel efficiency light turns white (A/C kicking in??) this is very annoying. Also the car hesitates and pulses as it is climbing an incline like interstate on ramps at initial acceleration. All other service items and recall items were handled with great care and courtesy. Susan, my service associate was excellent and explained most things very well. However, they need to stop saying the car is run through the car wash. Second time in a row it has not been. Same loose dirt in the same spot. But that really doesn’t bother me. Thanks, Susan for your great care!! I appreciate it.

After months of waiting for an answer they failed to get back to me. They owe us money on a trade in and there is no way to communicate with them. Me and my husband called in more than 30 occasions and we never received a call back. My husband reach out to the general manager (Courtney) and he never got back to us. During the negotiation they are very attentive and once you make the deal they forget about you. Terrible way to do business. Beware! Better Honda dealers around.
The advisor (Dennis) that helped with my service appointment today was wonderful. He was polite and explained everything well, giving me options for what needed to be done.
I brought my 2018 Honda civic in for an A/C cooling issue in 2020 when my car was still under warranty. They could not find a leak and just recharged the Freon. The same issue happened again this year. This time, they found a leak in the compressor and wanted $2100 to replace it now that my car is not under warranty. I told them this issue could have been resolved last year under warranty if they had found the leak the first time. I took my car to Crown Honda and they wanted only a little over $900. Tampa Honda is very dishonest. Do not service your car there.
Susan did Its a wonderful job getting my car back together and I appreciate her for Hes working so hard for me to keep the expense down the expense down and make sure the things that needed to be replaced were under warranty. After recovering from a horrible experience at another dealership, I was very happy to have the experience I had at Tampa Honda. It was quite frankly a breath of fresh air! While often times dealers are dismissive if you are not there in person, Jay and I were able to work over the phone to finalize all details in advance. When things become complicated with my trade from another dealer, they rose to the occasion and made all parts of the transaction smooth and seamless. Steve helped out when Jay was off for the day, and Bill in finance was a joy to work with. They were all friendly, helpful, fair, and honest. They did what they said they would, the paperwork was prepared and accurate, and it was the easiest and least complicated purchase Ive made to date. And thats not even considering that Hondas are a safe, reliable purchase that will hold their value and run forever. Win all around in my book!

The Service Agents are professional, nice and always tried to provide the guarantee of past services. Eventhough most of the fixes of my car has been done correctly, they have been worked for three different occasions with one problem (engine oil leaking) and is not finally solved.

I took my 2017 Honda HR-V to Tampa Honda for an oil and filter change. The service advisor was very efficient, professional, and pleasant. After the multi-point inspection was completed, the advisor told me my car needed the brake fluid replaced, which I agreed to have done. Even with both services performed, the job was completed in a reasonable amount of time while I waited. Also, I was able to use coupons I had received in the mail to save some money.
I went into Tampa Honda a few days ago hoping to buy my first car with my boyfriend, i was super nervous and honestly didn’t believe that we were going to get approved for any car. Juan and Gary walked us though all the paperwork and were super honest and reassuring, they ultimately helped us make the best possible decision, and we ended up driving out of the dealership with a brand new car. Overall the whole experience was completely easy and straightforward. We could not have asked for a better dealership to go to, or a better sales representative to help us.
Ali and Zain took good care of us. I got what I wanted not what they were trying to pressure me into. 👍🏻 Very friendly staff. They are willing to work with you to meet common grounds. Will be returning for future business and recommending to other first time buyers.
Its a shame that this Honda dealer forced my minor son a make decision to buy new tire to a 8 months old New car which was bought at this center !! They dont call parents, pressurizes a child to make a quick decision and swipe his credit card. Unethical and shame on them . Neither a photo was send regarding damaged tire, nor called parents .They gladly agreed when I made appointment that I could send a 17 year old boy . Beware of this dealer !!!!!
I think is time I pull my business from Tampa Honda. Ive been conducting business with Tampa Honda for a very long time whether it is with their sales department or their service department. Ive brought over many friends and family members but it is sad to say that I am beyond disappointed at this point. It has been twice now that I take my vehicle to the service department and instead of fixing the issue they create a whole new one. First incident, I took my vehicle in for a simple oil change. Service left the engine cap off and if it wasnt for all the sensors and how crazy my vehicle started acting I would have never notice that the entire 3 days I was driving with no engine oil. Second time and this was this past week, I take my vehicle in because a bunch of sensor lights turned on. It was my radar and the bracket that needed to be replaced. After 6 days of waiting on a part I go ahead and send my husband to pick up the car. I told him please be sure you look all around first. Sure enough, whomever was working the car did not know that the whole bumper comes off without having to touch the grille of the car. They damaged the bottom part of the grille and now I am waiting on this other part to come in so they can fix it. First, the guy that drove up the vehicle tried to say that it was me and probably didnt notice, then they kept looking around for excuses before just saying we will fix it. Is like, where is the morale? where is the common sense? I am supposed to be conducting business with a professional and well known entity, yet I continue to run into issues with them.My advice to others: Always check your vehicle before you leave!
Jorge is one of two of my favorite service guys at Tampa Honda! He’s very honest and sincere in explaining what my car needed. He’s kind and respects whatever you choose to do — but his genuine approach gives confidence to proceed with his professional and reasonable advice! Thank you Jorge for your diligence and courtesy! I’ve not gone anywhere else to maintain my car since 2001! You guys are the best!!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!! This was my worst visit by far! I have been taking my car to the Tampa Honda dealer since purchasing my car in 2008. I have never had any issues until this last visit. I went in for an oil change and was told I need to pick up the car the next day which would have been Sunday (Ive NEVER experienced this). I received a call Sunday and was provided a long list of repairs ($3,800.00 worth of work) my car needed and then told I will get a call back once parts got there so that they can provide me with a more accurate price. I asked the guy I spoke with if my car will be ready the same day with the amount of work it needed and I was told yes and that the oil change was completed the same day I dropped it off. Once I got a text with all the pricings I replied with what I approved. Several minutes later I receive a text saying my car will be ready Monday and the technician who was not the most pleasant said to me how did we say we would complete all the repairs today when you just approved them. I was not expecting that kind of response not to mention when I spoke to the guy he specifically told me it will be ready. My husband and I had to make all sorts off arrangements since we were down to one car. When I spoke to the assistant manager the following day and told him everything that happened he pretty much dismissed me and proceeded to provide me with a completely different list of issues ($1200.00) which had to be taken care of right away. The first set of issues had a lot to do with my safety as I was told. This second set of repairs were based on oil leaks so I went ahead and approved those repairs. I receive yet another call telling me the radiator had a leak ($600). Oddly enough it didnt have a leak when we got the vehicle there. Certainly not something they caught during the many inspections that were already performed on the car. We were informed Saturday when we dropped the car off that the dealership was under new ownership and that was made VERY CLEAR to us this past weekend. I have driven to the Tampa Honda with the one in Brandon being so much closer to home but because of their prior customer service i continued taking the drive to Tampa. Looks like I will need to look into Brandon Honda now and hope for a better experience.
From browsing the web, to setting the appointment, to meeting my salesman, to test driving, to closing the deal, to the days after follow up. I honestly couldn’t have been more satisfied with everyone I had the pleasure speaking to on the phone to the close of the deal. Went back to Tampa Honda to buy my 2nd 2021 Honda CRV and was helped by Miguel. I can’t stress enough how amazing he was. Miguel truly went above and beyond to make the whole process easy. Miguel was very helpful in answering any questions I had and ensuring the entire experience went smoothly. I was beyond impressed how professional and courteous he was and would highly recommend anyone who is looking at getting a new vehicle to go to Tampa Honda and speak with Miguel.What I love about Tampa Honda is it didn’t feel like other dealerships who are only concerned with making money. Tampa Honda actually was concerned with making you as a customer feel valued and taken care of. I have never had such a good car buying experience until I went there. Great service! Larry took care of a few cosmetic concerns I had with my 2018 honda I purchased new from them. He got it approved by honda the same day I took the car in for service.
I was able to reschedule my appointment easily. Ray Maxwell is very positive and informative. He helped me understand the work that would be done on my vehicle so I was comfortable with deciding to have it done. The cost was reasonable and even though I had to leave it overnight, it was ready before estimated (including the recall issues that were completed).
Dont go see Aubrey, grumpy old man judging a book by its cover. Spoke with me for 5 minutes judged me cause I was a young kid and told me he had to sell cars. I asked to speak with his boss where he responded why dont you just leave youre not gonna buy a car anyways. Great customer service seriously. Thankfully the finance manager was a great guy and Esam left a great first impression. All good all around just dont go see Aubrey completely unprofessional and a joke of a salesman
