I own a Automotive repair shop and after checking it out, my purchase was a great deal. There was nothing covered up like I see when my clients bring me cars to look at before purchasing. Being from Massachusetts I wanted to buy a rust-free Florida car. After some web searches I found exactly what I was looking for at Preferred Motors. Spoke to Matt, asked him a ton of questions and had him take some additional photos of the car to help me assess the condition. Regardless, its always a risk as you cant inspect the car in person. Matt was great to work with, very clear on all documentation even though everything had to be completed via email/text. He worked with me on shipping the car to MA and the entire process was smooth and problem free. When the car arrived it was exactly as Matt described and Im very happy with the vehicle. I would definitely recommend Preferred Motors if youre looking for a good car and great people to deal with.

If you are wanting a literal NO pressure car buying experience, then you really need not look any further than Preferred owned by Matt and his wife Heather. Matt is a businessman, and just a good person; not some shady used car salesman. I had narrowed my choices down to 4 of his cars, and how about he suggested me buying the cheapest of the 4? Ive NEVER had ANY salesperson recommend I buy the cheapest item from them. Regardless, he has all of my future car buying business and I will certainly recommend that my family and friends go and at least give him the opportunity to earn their business too. Thank you again Matt and Heather for putting me behind the wheel of a gorgeous car!Edit: as of 9/20/21 I have now purchased a car and motorcycle from Matt & Heather as well as sold a car and boat via consignment through them. Saw Matt advertise as a PRIVATE SELLER on Craigslist. Made an appointment to see his car. WITHOUT his disclosing he was a dealer. I discovered by matching phone numbers he actually WAS dealer and we’d see the car at his business.When a Private seller offers their car, the price they advertise is price they accept. When a dealer offers a price he racks on hidden fees and dealer fees averaging $800-$1000.When I asked Matt, after advertising as a private person, if he’d sell for his listed price he simply responded “no thanks”It’s deceptive. I can’t trust this guy. And I don’t appreciate his non-disclosure and burning up my time.Response to your response: I’d consider paying the price you listed as a private seller on Craigslist which was $19,995. Anyone can verify that. I asked you if you’d honor $19,xxx out the door price. It was not a low ball offer- it was asking what a legitimate private seller would have accepted. . You said no thanks. Those are the facts. Calling me a liar reflects your lack of character. Buyer beware.
