This place is amazing!!! Today the owner left his home (his day off) to come in and scan my documents for my future employer.Has any owner ever done that for you?He was kind, courteous, and professional.Thank you sir ... you made my day!!!!
This owner is extremely rude and to the point of being very discriminatory. My friend went in and did not have an official mask, so the owner would not let him come in; he was using a hankie type mask! He also told him if he left to get an official type mask he would lose his appointment, (that he paid $83 for for fingerprinting. So, my friend, being very ingenious, took his shoe off as he was going to use his sock and tear the top off and pull down over his face for a mask. The owner told him that he was not allowed to take his shoe off in his business!!!!! So, he went outside, ripped the sock and pulled it over his head for a mask. He was then allowed in for his fingerprinting. Ironically, the owner then had him remove his mask to be photographed for his fingerprint screen!!!!! Oh, and he also said he did not care what the Governor of Florida said about wearing masks. This was blatant discrimination! I guess if my friend changed his skin color all this would have been different. WHAT A RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, AND RIDICULOUS BUSINESS. And they sell beds there too! STRANGE!
The guys at up and running were incredibly helpful after I had a scary experience with a cup of coffee and a brand new laptop. They kept me posted every step of the way and charged me less than I expected. Hershel is the main person I talked to and he was so helpful.
I went in for an appointment to have a fingerprinting/background check. The staff member who assisted me was unbelievably rude. When I arrived at my appointment time, he told me to sit in a room while he took care of his personal business on the phone. How do I know it was his personal business? Because I could hear him yelling angrily on the phone from 2 rooms down. While I am sympathetic to his situation and respect his privacy enough to not disclose what the situation was here, it was very unsettling and completely inappropriate for a business environment. After he got off the call about 5 minutes later, he came in saying that I had “caught him at a bad time” even though I had made the appointment hours before I arrived at the appointment. Upon inspecting my identification and verifying them, he was abrasive and felt like he was rushing the process to get me out the door. When actually fingerprinting me, he kept insisting that I was moving my hand too much even though I have done fingerprint checks before and knew the process. My hand was limp and I was allowing him to do all of the work. When I politely told him that I was not “helping him”, he insisted multiple times that it was my fault whenever the scanner did not detect my prints (which only happened twice). Finally, he insisted that it was still my fault, but that I was doing it subconsciously, implicating that it was my fault even when I was unaware of it. I was incredibly insulted at his demeanor and attitude throughout the entire experience. I don’t know if I’ll ever be requiring fingerprinting services or computer repair services in the future, but this terrible experience has persuaded me not to return for either service.
Attempted to call to get a status about a repair (turns out I had the wrong shop completely, totally my mistake). Gentleman answers the phone and starts to aggressively say HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO without giving me any time to respond. Finally told him I could hear him just fine. His attitude and tone were totally bizarre throughout the call. Im sure they do great work but whoever answers the calls could use a refresher in telephone etiquette. Maybe they were dealing with a bunch of spam/prank calls that day? Who knows.
The proprietor is knowledgeable but he did not tell me up front that he would charge me $60 for advice. The advice was incomplete and rushed and left off much of what I really needed to know and repeated stuff I already knew. I will not be going back and will not recommend this business. To be fair, he did run a Bios that told me the temperature my computer was running at but this was not worth the price.
